triangle shape low flying with 3 while lights on each corner. Object made no sound! I live in crestwood KY. I was driving home last night from diner and driving through pewee valley at around 11:20 pm, I looked up and saw an object ahead and above me with 2 large lights on each side and some blinking lights in the middle.

As I drove on the object seemed to stand still and not move at all or very slowly. As I continued driving I was apparently heading toward the object because it got larger. I got to my turn at the crestwood baptist church and turned right and the object was on my left.

As I drove I continued to stare at the object trying to figure out what it was. It was kinda high in the air but not airplane high. More like the height of the hot air ballons which is what I thought it was at one point until I got close enough to see there was no ballon.

Then as I drove on a bit more the object began to move from my left to the right toward louisville. I slowed down and eventually stopped in the road rolled down my window and heard absolutely nothing as I watched it fly ahead of me. It flew slowly at first and then gradually sped up and maintained a steady speed.

It had 3 white lights that seemed to be on three corners of the object like it was triangle shaped and had some blinking lights in the middle.

A yellowish twinkling light with a red ring around it that disappeared after about 3 minutes. As I was walking to my car to get my cigarettes around 4:45 am, I noticed along the horizon a yellow light. This light has not been there before, because I work a morning shift and I always look in that direction in the morning when I smoke.

It was a yellowish round light that was twinkling rapidly. It appeared to have a red ring around it. I compared it to the building lights around me and it was nothing like it, nor do we have buildings that tall here.

I compared it to the other stars, and it was huge at least twice the size of them. I stood very still and noticed that it was moving. I thought it was an airplane or a meteor that was about to hit the earth.

And then, it lulled for a moment and appeared to have dissipated. But it went upward before it was gone. ((NUFORC Note: We note that the report is not inconsistent with the landing light on an approaching aircraft, but we do not know if there are any major airports in the area of the sighting.

I went to the helipad in Red River Gorge national park to stargaze with my astronomy teacher and several members of the Cincinnati Astronomical Society. After stargazing for a few hours we decided to go galaxy hunting with some of the larger telescopes. I noticed something very strange in my telescope while viewing the moon while the others were pointing their telescopes in another direction.

I noticed something strange and alarming.it was a UFO. It looked very much like an airplane but was dark grey and looked as if it had armor on it and it had far too many, what I'm guessing were, windows on 3 levels.

There were also some flashing lights but I couldn't see them without the telescope. It was moving incredibly fast but there was no sound and before I knew it it was out of view. I tried looking for it again and managed to see it and the strangest part of all was that it had to have been flying upside-down because it was as if I was looking at a plane, a very unusual plane for that matter, from above.

Another strange thing happened.one of the other astronomers was using an astronomy program on his lap top to move his telescope to certain astronomical bodies and when I saw this thing the program went crazy, sifting through dozens of star charts at a rapid pace then shutting down. How bizzare! I was a little taken aback when I found this "A witness to a UFO sighting on October 13 in Trenton, OH submitted the drawing below.

" It looks so similar.but his depiction is on a much smaller scale. Unfortunatley I was unable to keep whatever it was in view and I asked someone else to look for it.

Several steady bright orange lights that appeared in succession forming a semi-circle before blinking out all at once. Initially, one very bright orange light with what appeared to be four refraction lines radiating from it, similar to the headlight of an airliner. Before I could say anything, a second, identical, light appeared to the left and slightly up from the first.

It appeared as if two planes were in extreme proximity to each other. We stopped the truck (expecting to see a plane crash) and I opened the truck door and looked right at the two lights and then saw four to six more identical lights appear in succession to the left and below the second light, almost evenly spaced and forming a semi circle as the last one or two lights appeared heading back to the right. The light positions remained static, with no change or movement, and the lights remained steady with no flickering.

As I grabbed my camera, all of the lights disappeared. It all happened very quickly. The lights were much bigger and brighter than any star and we saw several airplanes as we continued our trip and none of the plane lights remotely resembled what we saw.

We mentioned to many people and no one else saw it, however, a friend said she saw similar lights at her farm in the far southeastern part of this county about a month ago and she was relieved that we saw what we did. There was no sound. I've seen a lot of strange things in the sky over the decades but this is the first one that I can't come up with a rational explanation for.

triangular object with lights in each corner hovering over a school campus seen by wife and I My wife and I were returning home from picking up our daughter from the babysitters house and were passing by a the Kentucky School for the Deaf on south second street when we noticed something out of place in the sky. My wife is a nurse and I have a BA from Centre College so I believe that we are both credible. It was a clear night sky with little or no moon which made the object stand-out even more.

The best way to describe it was triangular in shape with lights at each corner. The reason we noticed it is that it was offset from the night sky. It appeared to be hovering and rotating in a counter-clockwise direction.

The lights were not flashing but were steady. I was driving and slowed down to get a better look but our view was soon obstructed. We continued home (about 3 miles) and when we got out of the car we could still see the object.

I went inside to get a camera while my wife took our daughter inside, but by the time I found our camera and got back outside it was gone. We can both honestly say that it was not a plane, helicopter, weather balloon, swamp gas (there are no swamps here), or anything else that belonged in the night sky. By the process of elimination it was an unidentified flying object.

flashing light making sharp irregular turns At about (Lewis County NE Kentucky)7:50 PM I was outside watching the stars and smoking when I seen an object flashing a specific sequence of lights. I thought nothing of it.I thought it was an air plane when it suudenly make a sharp turn.

anout 20 degrees. It continued to make turns until it was on it's original path (approx.) Taking onto account it's obvvious ability to "backtrack" the original course I can only assume it was communicating.

While I was working outside on my fence rows, I was burning tree branches in my garden. The wind shifted and I looked up to make sure no sparks were going to hit my roof, when I noticed a twin prop commercial plane heading south, appearing behind it, closing at a high rate of speed was a small silver object. Estimated speed of object 2000 miles per hour plus.

I walked from the garden to my 800 foot front lawn, still watching both objects. The silver object seemed to come to a stop behind the small plane but stayed with the plane for about 20 seconds. All at once the object moved back towards me, made a loop, came to a dead stop and accelerated out of sight at a 45 degree angle.

At that time I considered calling my wife outside, but hesitated. As I went back to the garden to check the fire, a commercial jet heading south about the same altitude, flew over. I proceeded to observe this one also.

From the northeast sky another silver ball closed in on the jet, staying behind the jet about one half mile. This one was weaving from side to side. It stayed behind the jet for about one minute.

It then sped off in the same direction as the other object. This one seemed to travel a little faster then the first object. At this time I called my wife outside.

As my wife came down onto the front lawn, two more objects appeared, not accompanied by any commercial aircraft. They both raced off to the east. My wife did not see these objects at this time as they moved too quickly for her to catch sight of them.

I went into the house to get my binoculars. I do not own a video camera, which I really regret. At this time my wife and I started noticing a dark area, we are not sure if it was a cloud, fog or mist forming directly overhead, it appeared to be 25000-35000 feet high, estimated.

It looked like it stretched in symetrical shape, about two miles. As this "cloud" seemed to get darker activity increased, at this time only with small objects appeared. Now my wife started to see them also.

Let me state at this time the sky! to the north, south, east and west of this "cloud" was extremely clear and blue, except for the "cloud" directly overhead. My wife stated at this time"they do not seem to be coming from the outskirts of the horizon, but from the "perimeter" of the "cloud" area". For about a fifteen second burst, way off to the south, two smaller objects trailing behind one larger object, the larger object being three times larger then the small objects ,they seemed to be swaying back and forth behind the larger one, similar to a kite tail.

They came and went so quickly my wife didn't see them. Remember, I had been looking through binoculars. These objects seemed to just disappear from my sight.

For the next 4-5 minutes the cloud, mist, fog got a darker grey in color. My wife sighted two large silver objects traveling side by side from the northeast heading southwest, from the perimeter to the center of the cloud formation, when they got to the center of the cloud area they disappeared from her sight, she did not see them come out of the cloud area. At the same time I myself observed other objects, two large ball shapes exiting the southeast corner of the cloud, they were moving half the speed of the smaller objects observed earlier.

This lasted for about forty seconds.Immediately after these seperate sightings, the cloud increased to its darkest color and we sighted a silver boomarang, vee shaped object heading east-southeast.,it was moving much slower than the rest,it seemed to have sqared off wings at the ends,the size was about 1/and 1/2 times bigger than a 747 airplane,again all objects had no sounds,for the next couple off minutes nothing appeared ,where it came from i am not sure, but heading in the same direction as the v object ,an older military plane which had those pontoon type ends on the wings ,the wings were straight.

,seemed to be following the v, let me also state it was an extremly wide v, dusk was now stating to set in,and it seemed now the so called cloud was almost gone, these were not off this earth. as my ! wife sta ted to me this was some type off portal, or cloking devise , on this planet no one has this tech. yet.

Oval light changes to 5 lights forming a triangle between Hwy 68-80 and Hwy 31-W. I was driving east from Russellville to Bowling Green on 68-80 (Russellville Rd.)after working late in October of 2001.

As I approached the Rockfield Elementary School area I noticed a glowing yellow-white oval shape ahead of me. I judged it to be close to the Natcher Parkway overpass (approx.6 miles ahead) and about the size of my thumb with my arm stretched out in front of me.

The oval shape was bright, but hazy and was slowly moving south toward Hwy 31-W. I watched it continuously as I drove toward town amazed at the size it must be and noting that I couldn't see any discernible object or craft in the oval light. The attack of 9-11 was still fresh and I was surprised to be seeing anything in the air.

If it were a military helicopter searching for something, I thought I should be seeing a beam of light streaming to the ground or moving around, but there was none. As I neared Memphis Junction Rd. just a little before the Natcher overpass, I judged the object to be over Hwy 31-W (which at this point runs almost parallel to 68-80, aprox.

3 miles apart). Suddenly, the oval light changed into 5 separate white lights! They were in the formation of a triangle. It was very odd in that it wasn't a flat triangle.

There were three lights forming the bottom base, a light at the top point, and the fifth was on the right side of the triangle closer to the base. It moved upright. (If you form a triangle with your thumbs and index fingers a few inches in front of your face and then extend your arms out still holding the triangle, that is how the lights moved.

) I was watching this triangle of lights travel slowly beyond 31-W when they just disappeared! I didn't report it thinking the original oval light was so big that others probably had already called. I checked the local news sources for the next few days hoping for some mention with an explanation, but never heard anything about it. ((NUFORC Note: Date is approximate.

Green meteor? That altered heading?? Recently I read about the green meteor-like object streaking through the atmosphere in Raleigh, NC. Strange that I observed this same exact thing about this time two years ago. It came from the southeast making a gradual turn heading about 350*NNW.

It looked like a huge comet or meteor, surrounded by a green haze. It left a greenish-white trail for miles. No sooner than I stopped the car to observe it, I heard the dj on the radio announcing that several people were calling in reporting the same object.

That staion is in Owensboro, Ky. Some people were calling from Evansville, IN as well. It was presumed a meteor, but I've never seen a meteor alter coarse like that.

Nor move with such speed. Just strange that I saw the same thing described here almost 2 years ago exactly. ((NUFORC Note: Date is approximate.

2 objects flashing changing colors,red,blue,&yellow or white This morning around 4:30am we saw 2 flashing lights or spheres in the sky,at first we thought they were airplanes but they stayed in the same position we were able to watch from 4:30am until 5:00am a half hour.The objects fashed red,then blue,then yellow or white.Sometimes in that order sometimes not in order or at least I was not aware.

I'm not very good on distances but I can say from were we saw the objects if you were to measure with a ruler it was about 6 inches apart,which I guess could have been miles or more.The first object brought to our attention was brighter and in a lower position,the other object which we noticed about 5 minutes afte the first was higher in position but not as bright ,it'c color sequence was red,blue,and yellow or white as well. That's all the information I have.

ufos watching over america?? I was in Louisville visiting my sister we were out on the front porch having a cigarette. She pointed out a star that looked different from the rest. We watched other flashes of light move towards it and come from it.

It danced around and moved up and down in a triangle patern extremly fast. we watched it till 1am. When I arrived home in Henryville, IN.

It was probably around a quarter til 2. My boyfriend and I went to the state forestry down the street. We took a telescope and binoculars.

There we witnessed a least seven of these objects dance around and flash lights like they were talking to each other. They seemed to stay in star formations. Anytime a plane would go over they would move towards it as if watching the plane.

We saw several military planes go over us. One made no noise at all. These things had flashing lights all around them almost as if they were planes.

They would get bright and then dim and occasionaly move together at same speeds and movements. They made sharp turns and triangle patterns they were definately trying to stay in formation at all times. We watched two appear out of nowhere.

There was a larger ship that showed up later and they all went crazy moving and flashing. There were so many someone must have seen something. We also video taped part of the experience in Louisville.

Ball of light traveling perfectly horizonial I was outside with my dog looking to the northeast when a bright light crossed the horizon maybe 1000ft above me. I do kow it wasn't a metor. It was a yellowish white ball of light not fast enough for metor falling but faster than a plane.

I tryed to follow it but our house is surrounded by trees and I was only able to see for 15 seconds before the trees blocked my view. I have never seen anything like this. I watch all the metor showers when they are in this area and this didn't look anything like what I've seen.

2 pair of burnt orange colored stationary lights, low level one turning horizontal and then both pairs of lights turning off. 2 lights (burnt orange in color) 1 on each end, eg. *----------* (asterisks being the lights).

could not see anything in between. 2 pair were seen. One lower, approximately 500 feet off of the ground the other approximately 1000 feet (stationary - not moving and no sound).

Both being the same distance away.approx.05 to 1 mile.

After about 2 1/2 mins the lights on the right (higher) went out.The other object was moving to a horizontal position while decending, very slowly, once horizontal the lights on that one went out as well. We don't know if the object came to the ground or not.

Blue green rectangular observed stationary for 20 minutes then sped off strobing/pulsating as it did. I was rideing my motorcycle on the beltline around the city so I had an unobstructed view of this object. I would say it was about 1/4 the size of the moon.

It was of a steady brite blue-green color. It was stationary until it suddenly sped off to the north. It appeared to pulsate or strobe briefy as it sped away then disappeared.

It was approximatly 45 degrees above the horizon. As a pilot I would estimates its distance from me was approximatly 5 miles. My motorcycle helmet has no face shield so there could not be a reflection.

Crash/Launch site I witnessed needs to be researched!!! I was driving at dawn during storm, a country road that is like a camel's back, hill after hill. I watched "it" knock over trees to get to the road. The trees blocked my view but it looked like ambulance lights, say if there were 10 ambulances.

Then I watched a tree parallel to me off the road just snap around 8ft. from the ground and just slam to earth. Then I saw nothing but a dot of light leaving the atmosphere.

I had over 100yds. of visible road (runway) and saw nothing. No sonic boom, no sound, nothing.

I turned the car around in fear of my life. I have gone back to the sight and it may have some great evidence as to the crafts work. It mowed down more than a dozen trees leaving burns behind.

I have found a rock from the root of the tree that is scorched everywhere except where the root was attached, meaning whatever did this has to be somehow electrical.

It was a video shown on WTVQ Channel 36 in Lexington, KY. A news reporter took a video. You can see for yourself.

Lightening storm with possible UFO at top left of screen. I was video recording a thunderstorm in slo-motion last year. I didn’t notice the strange lights towards the end of the video until a month or go.

If you scroll through the video frame by frame the traffic lights randomly go completely dark but say red. These are not flashing lights and the lightening doesn’t seem to be directly striking the poles. Towards the end 2 lights appear at the top left of the video then appear to take off vertically.

You must scroll screen to screen to see what’s going on. I don’t think it is a light reflection because no other vehicles pull up to the lights. Just curious.

Strange that the red lights are flashing totally off and on.
