Red Objets over the desert sky of San Luis Arizona The night of December 31 around 21:30 I was driving and I looked up to the sky and saw three red objects. I took a picture but have not developed the film yet. They were perfectly alined in a triangle and I thought it was one solid object at first until, I saw that they started to blink, move away from eachother and one disapeared.
Two were left in the sky and one started to go down as if was a falling star but never went all the way down before it disapeared. The sky was very clear and dark. Yesterday, 01/05/06 around 19:15 there was another sighting.
Now there were five of them moving across the sky slowly and I noticed there was an aircraft flying close by those red objects. There was a lot of people watching the sky. I went to the local police station and the dispatcher and an officer were outside looking at the sky and I asked them if they knew what they were and said that they had gotten a lot of calls and did not know what they were.
They slowly started to disapear one by one the same way the ones from December 31, 2005.

It was very fast and gold with red and blue lights on it. It looked like a gold disk with red and blue lights. It sat there for a moment and then took off in the sky very fast and was gone.

Light dropping other lights I was on my way to work and had stopped to get some gas. When leaving the gas station I noticed a bright amber/yellow light due east of me heading to the east. ((NUFORC Note: Witness meant "west.
" Please see note below. PD)) There were no blinking or marker lights as would be seen on a conventional aircraft. The object would brighten briefly and then in the air below the object, an identical amber light would appear and descend toward the ground then fade out.
This was repeated several times as the main object kept heading away from me on a straight and level course. One of the objects that appeared below the main object, descended and then made a right angle turn and moved north before fading out. It was hard to estimate altitude on this object but I would guess it was below 5,000 feet.
The main object continued to head east until it faded out of view. ((ADDENDUM FROM WITNESS)) Mr. Davenport, I filed a report of a sighting in Glendale, Arizona with you on Thursday, December 29, 2005 at 22:37:21.
I had the sighting around 3:30am and did not fill out the report until late that evening. I had worked a 10 hour shift that day and was quite tired when I filled out the report. I hope you post the report when you update your data base but, I made a mistake on it that I was hoping you would correct as I want the report to be accurate.
Because I was so tired when I filled out the report I got the direction of the sighting backwards. The object(s) I saw were moving WEST and not east as I stated in the report. Thank you, ((name deleted)) ((END ADDENDUM)).

Odd craft in broad daylight, amidst departing airliners Tech. info wittness location: lat 33.51272°N/lon 111.
91513°W. Conditions clear, no wind, very high thin spotty clouds, mostly con-trails from fly over airliners all headding west. Event start location: lat 33.
44880°N/lon 111.96010°W Event end location: lat 33.57419°N/lon 111.
75161°W Craft was gaining altitude and simply vanishied in a cloudless portion of sky while 4 departing airliners were still visible. Duration 30-40 seconds. Not quite cylinder or cigar shape but close.
I was outside smoking and watching the holiday airliners leaving phoenix sky harbor. I had watched 4 airliners take off. Today's departure flight path was east co-insiding with craft's flight path.
Craft exhibited odd flight behavior different from airliners I had just seen and no exhaust trail. 3 visible lights yellow/white, laser like red and luminous blue, 3 locations on craft: nose or front end of craft, mid craft and aft end. first the nose light then the mid light then the aft x2.
Speed seemed much faster than airliners, direction of travel coupled with location of sun in relation to my location, the lights should'nt have been reflections from the sun nor as bright, as I had not seen even a glint off the airliners or any marker/landing lights. The craft was silent and the 4 airliners where quite audible and exhaust trials visble.

Amber Lights near Welton, AZ I wrote this down on the event date as I drove, I just now found my notes. I was heading East on Interstate 8 towards the I10 Jct, at 1851 I noticed four bright amber coloured lites hanging in the sky just north and east of the highway, as I watched they disappeared in sequence. About 5 mins (about MM 71), I saw the same lights again and they did exactly the same thing, they reminded me of the footage of the Tucson lights.
At 1923, I saw two lights, also amber south of the 8 just east of the Rest Area, and they too blinked away. And finally at 1927 I saw one amber light blink twice and I saw no more. I have never seen so much activity like this.
I am a Professional Trucker.

Close encounter of the third kind. On 12-1-2005 at around 18:00 hrs my wife and I had just finished stringing up are outdoor Christmas lights across the front roof line of the house. We had used clear blinking lights that we had placed in a Red-Green-Yellow-Blue order.
All of the bulb's were working and had begun to flash on and off. We then noticed that about a half dozen of the lights furthest from us had begun to chase themselves back and forth numerous times. We were both amazed.
I continued to watch this light show when I noticed my wife was not. Her attention had been caught by movement over the top of the house. Looking upwards I caught sight of the object that she was looking at.
There at about 50ft above the house was a oblong (?) shaped craft that was moving silently in a southernly direction. It seemed to be reflecting the color's of the light's -Red-Green-Yellow-Blue. We think the craft was about 10-15 ft long.
It seemed to have no external propulsion system, no navigation light's nor rudder. It did seem to have electro-chromatic skin though. We eventually lost sight of the craft as we had to run around a tree in the front yard to see it.
It was gone. We have not seen it since then.

Bright light traveling across sky near Phoenix, AZ faded to black and kept traveling. I was sitting outside in my hot tub looking up at the sky. I live pretty far out, so there is not alot of light pollution and the sky is very clear.
I saw a controlled bright light in the sky. It appeared to be inside the atmosphere. It traveled across the sky at about the same speed as a shooting star, but it faded to black and kept traveling across the sky.
Every night I see multiple shooting stars and airplanes landing at nearby airports, and this was definately not the same type of light. I served four years in the Marine Corps and am familiar with the capabilities of the F-14, F-16, and Harrier jet.

DURING THE MONTH OF DECEMBER, 2006, ON THREE CONSECUTIVE NIGHTS, I WITNESSED TWO BRIGHT ORANGE BALLS HOVERING IN THE SKY ABOVE ARIZONA CITY. I STOPPED TO WATCH AND NOTED THAT ONE BALL WOULD "JUMP" OF MOVE SIDEWAYS THEN RETURN TO ORIGINAL POSITION . THE OTHER BALL WOULD DO THE SAME, MOVING UP, DOWN OR SIDEWAYS AT GREAT SPEED, RETURNING TO ORIGINAL POSITION.
AT TIME, THE BALLS WERE NEARLY TOUCHING; AT OTHERS, SEEMED GREATLY APART AND INDEPENDENT OF THE OTHER. IN DRIVING TO MY HOME TO GET CAMERA, I KEPT THESE IN VIEW. NO SOUNDS, AURA'S OR "BEAMS" WERE OBSERVED.
HOWEVER, BY TIME OF RETURNING FROM INSIDE HOME, BALLS WERE GONE. THEY HAD BEEN VISABLE FROM MY FRONT YARD, AS I PARKED. IN SPEAKING TO A LEAST 3 OTHER PEOPLE AT WORK, WITHOUT MUCH DETAIL, IE: "I SAW SOMETHING KIND OF ODD LAST NIGHT IN THE SKY OVER ARIZONA CITY, ALL THREE HAD WITNESSED THE SAME THING, DESCRIBING THE "BALLS" AS I SAW THEM.
THERE WERE BETWEEN ARIZONA CITY AND TABLETOP MTN, NEAR MARICOPA. ANY EXPLANATIONS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. ((NUFORC Note: Date is corrected to some date in December 2005, not 2006.

lights seen in sky I have notice these lights quite a while and sometimes they are a total of 7, they all vary. But look very similiar. They just look like a yellow light in the sky and sometimes they are really close and sometimes spread apart.
I see them as I am driving home at night about 7-9pm. They are above, not high. As I am driving home on the freeway, about 20 miles away, they disappear and show up about 5 miles more down.
Of course it probably is farther, because these lights are farther out, I only see the light, I havent seen an object yet. ((NUFORC Note: Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information. PD)).

Disappearing in a fading smoke. Dear National UFO Reporting Center, 11/28/05 I live in Gilbert AZ. At approximately 10:45p.
m. I went out to cover my plants. When I was covering my lemon tree I saw something strange in the south west sky.
It was maybe a half mile away, floating low in the sky. It was a sharp angle with a wing with a lip around the edge. It seemed very peculiar.
I even looked away and when I looked back it was still floating slowly with no noise or lights. It was not a large air craft, but the color seemed clear or iridescent. The most vivid thing was how it just disappeared.
It wasn’t like a blink. It was more like a smoke, fading away slowly. I have never seen any thing ever in my life like it.
It’s hard to explain how incredible this was. I’m a normal person, married suburban life with two kids. I’ve never seen anything move like that and just disappear.
To be frank it scared the shit out of me.

A very fast craft turned 90 degrees without slowing or banking, traveling apprx mach one at 20,000 ft. The object was traveling in a northwesterly direction at approx 20,000 feet, at a speed over double a commercial jet, then it changed direction at a 90 degree turn "instantly" towards the east and excellerated until it was out of sight! The sky was clear, great visibility. USAF testing maybe? To further explain, the lite ball didn't turn, bank or slow, it was like you draw a line on a paper and then turn right, like the letter "L"! This wasn't a jet, no noise what so ever; emagine a huge spot lite on the front of a very, very fast craft is what i saw.
I retired five years ago from 45 years in the marine and aircraft industries. ((NUFORC Note: Witness elects to remain semi-anonymous; provides no contact information. PD)).

Daylight Scottsdale Sighting PD, My friend and I were walking back to my place in downtown Scottsdale (Camelback and Scottsdale Rd) from having seen a great movie at the Camel View 5 theatre and I just happened to look up, East (we were walking from west to east), and I observed two silver ball shaped images in the sky. At first I thought they were just random balloons floating upward. My friend also took notice of them, so I know I am not seeing things in my declining years PD! Then we observed a third object just appear, it was very weird to see two, look away for a split second, look back up and then have there be three objects! This was in broad day light, no clouds, nothing, come on, it’s Arizona! Big blue, clear skies.
This is not the first time I have witnessed strange objects in the Arizona sky. Specifically the Central (Metro Phoenix) area. So, we just continued to walk back to my place and eventually lost interest.
They were silver and shinny. Too high to really detail the precise design or any specific shapes however, I do not think they were balloons as they were not moving or being blown in any specific direct rather, just hanging out, enjoying the view of downtown Scottsdale! I'd say the altitude was between 1000 - 2000 ft. Thanks, PD!.

7 enormous, bright amber light, Spherical Orbs hover at high altitude over Arizona desert In Arizona, on November 17, 2005, at 8:30 p.m. we were driving east on interstate 8 toward Phoenix.
I looked to the South and saw seven enormous, bright light, amber orbs (spherical) in the southern direction of the night sky. They appeared to be in a line formation from our angle. They appeared to be stationary or hover at a high altitude.
I think we were watching for 5 minutes maybe even a little longer before I thought to note the mile marker that we just passed, 82. At 8:45 they began to disappear one by one by diminishing, turning red before completely disappearing. (They appeared to move as they disappear.
) I think they were all gone by mile marker 88. After the main event there were tiny sparkles of light bursts occurred in the sky darting everywhere. It was between Sentinel/Hyder and Agua Caliente.
They were plenty of cars stopped at the rest area we passed on the same side of the freeway. We did not have a camcorder or camera to document but perhaps someone did as many vehicles were stopped at the rest area as well as one on the side of the road. Maybe others will report too due to the proximity to the rest area.
This is the first time I have observed something like this. The location is about 70 or 80 miles from Yuma and about 100 from Phoenix. There is a air base in Yuma.
I did an internet search and learned of the Phoenix lights. They looked similar.

Daytime sighting of three objects, in formation, moving across the sky, VERY VERY high compared to other aircraft. No noises at all. AT dusk, approximately 5:50 PM, I was in the front yard, letting my dog snoop.
I was therefore wasting time, As I happened to look up, I saw what I originally thought were three helicopters approaching from the west. I kept waiting for them to get closer and bigger, but even though they finally flew over, they never got bigger, I never hard any sounds, and they were MUCH higher than jetliners flying over either, into or out of the airport. And even as they leave the airport, they are much higher than a helicopter.
When an actual helicopter did actually fly over, then is when I realized these three items were WAY too high to be helicopters, as I had originaly wondered about. One item, the front one, looked as if maybe it was a large rectangle item, and did turn 90 degrees a number of times. Their fomation stayed consitent.
In the past, others have reported the "sighting" over Phoenix at night, and the lights. This time, there were no lights, but the sun had not yet gone down. I am a man, aged 64, sane, and have never before believed I've ever witnessed UFO's.
This sighting was way too weird, and I can be certain they were not normal aircraft. Even very high aircraft, you hear some noise, not this time, and no vapor trails. Movement across the sky was steady, and rather slow.

we saw 3 big lights in the sky, and they passed riht over us. my friends and i were out side on the side of our house. my sister sees a bright flash over a tree out of the corner of her eye.
then we all run out to the front yard and here comes these gigantic lights. there were three to be exact. three light connected to one object.
it moved verry slow. it didnt make a noise. the lights were as bright as stadium lights but different.
it took about 7 min to get right above us, and about 2 min later it vanished. then another light showed up. this time it was one light but it was pulsating.
thats when i ran inside and got the banoculars and got a great look at it. it was a round cylander shape. it looked like a drum cymbole.
then it just dissappeared.

Mysterious line of lights.that disappeared.and reappeared many times.
A photographer and I were returning to Phoenix from a commercial shoot in Lake Havasu, Arizona when I noticed a line of lights above a mountain. I asked my friend to take a look at the them, since I was driving, and tell me what they were. He told me they were moving.
They first appeared to me like lights at the end of a runway or something. I was curious if there was an airport nearby. But my photographer said they were rotating.
I began looking at them and they stayed in a line for a while.maybe 30 minutes. But then they began dipping up and down and disappeared behind a mountain.
Suddenly a flash happened. and 4 lights spread out from this flash. This same routine would happen.
they would disappear.then a flash.then 3 or 4 more lights in a row.
At the same time.we noticed other blinking lights above us.one was leaving a trail.
while other lights flashed about. Then.they would all disappear.
They appeared to be blue and red. This happened about 5 times. But the big orange lights.
seemed to stay a bit ahead of us and to the south of I-10 for 100 miles or so. We finally pulled off the freeway and got our video camera out.and captured some pictures I will not see until tomorrow.
We missed the best part of this light spectacle on camera.but we do have lights appearing and disappearing.
