when below the clouds, object appeared to change shapes, looked black, and something was emitted or dropped from object or craft, my family flew out to visit me today and while showing them the sites son in law happend to see something strange in the sky. We stopped to watch it and as we did it appeard to be black and change shapes. It also appeared as though from time to time some thing or some things fell from it to Earth.

It when below the cloud cover appeared to be black in color. It moved up and down and from side to side. It appeard as though the whole thing came down to Earth somewhere in the Desert outside of Mesquite Nevada.

I don't have a clue what it was, and wondering if anybody else happend to see what we all got to observe. Bill Bartko Beaver Dam Az. bartko@cascadeaccess.

Large, circular object hovering over mountain. It was visible directly forward while travelling on the I-15 southbound. I was traveling home from work on thursday, the 8th of December.

The time was around 3:50-4:00 pm. I was headed South on the I-15, toward the 215 turnoff to head west (where I live). I saw a large object in the sky, completely circular and grey.

It hovered just above the mountain which was facing me (south). At first my eyes did not recognize the object in the air, and then I did a double take. It hovered there for about a minute.

During this time of me spotting the object, I was beginning to exit the 15 South, and head down the 215 west. Furing that turnoff, you get taken underneath a section of freeway, temporarily blocking the view of the craft. When I finally completed exiting the freeway, and was finally on the 215, I looked back and the craft was gone.

I was able to look at it, and observe it for less than 30 seconds, but when I turned off, and was going to pull over to really pay attention to it, it was gone. I am used to seeing commerical airplanes and hellicopters all over this valley, and since my condo sits on higher ground than the airport, I get a constant view of planes comming in for landings and taking off. My father was in the air force, so I was raised around aircraft.

This was not something I could have mistaken. It didn't move, make noise, cause any electronic interference I was aware of, and it didn't emit any light. It just sat there motionless in the sky, larger than any hellicopter or airplane I had ever seen in real life.

It hovered about as high as normal hellicopters do when they are doing the traffic reports for the news. (I see them over the 15 all the time when I am heading home around 4:30-5 ish) I wish I could have had the time to stop my car and take a photo. I had a camera but not within my reach while operating my vehicle.

It was so large, I am astonished no one else has reported this. I asked a few friends in town if they had seen it, and they hadn't.

UFO's are very active in the Oregon, Nevada and Idaho area. I am the farmer from Idaho who wrote in to report UFO sightings in March 2004 and again in August 2004. I spotted the same type of UFO's again on Dec 7th and 8th, 2005 while driving our semi-truck from Nevada northward into Idaho.

I watched them on two consecutive nights. On Dec 7th around 8:00pm , I was northbound on Hwy 95 approx. 15 miles south of McDermott, Nevada and they appeared on the east side of the highway and I would guess them to be about 6 miles away and just above the hill tops.

They appeared as a cluster of lights and each individual light appeared to be huge. The lights were the only thing visible and seemed to be in staggered positions. Their lights coming on and going off were synchronized and always moved from left to right.

When the first light came on it stayed lit until the second light came on and then the first one would slowly fade out and as the third light lit up the second light would begin to fade away until it was completely off. This all happened within about 30 seconds. On Dec 8th at about 9:00pm on a clear night with good visibility, I saw lights on the south-east side of the road on Hwy 95 at mile marker 38.

This is between Jordan Valley and Rome, Oregon. I watched 4 lights coming on and off in sequence from right to left moving upward at a 45 degree angle. We always see the same type of UFO's in the Idaho, Oregon and Nevada area.

Always at night, always over the mountain tops and only being able to see lights going off and on. August 2004 in Idaho and Dec 8th 2005 in Jordan Valley, Oregon area there has been a bright flash appear in the sky some distance away from the UFO activity.

Crashing UFO in las vegas looked like a crash landing to me. It was midnight in north las vegas and i was driving west when i seen a fireball, bright blue with green falling vertical to the ground. it didn't appear in the sky until about 600 feet above ground and disapeared about 200 feet from ground, lasted for 2 seconds.

no reports on the news or radio but i saw it with full vision and awareness.

I was traveling south on I-15 at Mile Marker 66, just watching the road and looking up into the sky. I could see the Star or planet (im not sure which) and to the bottom left I could what i thought was a "star". As I came over the last big hill before you can see town.

I noticed as I moved south that this "star" was moving-ever so slowly up-in the five or so minutes it doubled altitude. I would guess it to be about 10 miles out-since I could clearly see the planes coming in from the north over the mountains with their strobes and red lights on. Mc Claren Airport would be about 20 miles from where I first saw the light ("star").

As I approached the city the "star" had gained altitutde and then slowly just winked out. Other than the aircraft for McClaren and Henderson I didnt see anything else like it. I am a professional trucker.

Light like a star that got brighter and brighter before a sudden fading and disappearance. I don't think this is a UFO. While warming up my truck this morning I stepped outside to look at a bright 'star' that I thought was Jupiter.

The light was about as bright as Jupiter or the space station gets at it's fullest and was a white color. The light intensified for about 30 seconds, while I was waching it. It then 'dimmed' quickly to a really 'faint' light still visible and then dissappeared.

My first guess was a supernova, but I have no idea what it was. It was stationary the entire time. There were no clouds visible in that section of the sky and even with the time change this morning, it was still dark outside at the time.

Duration was about a minute or two. I was looking for mars and looked over at the white light because of it's bright intensity. Looking due SOUTH, about 10-20° to the EAST from SOUTH.

About at 40-60° up from the horizon, (90° is straight up). Too weird. was it a superduper nova? It was tooooo bright for a twinkling star.

AFTER ENJOYING A BURGER AT THE LITTLE ALI-INN, ON THE WAY TO OUR TRUCK WE LOOKED UP INTO THE SKY AND NOTICED A VERY BRIGHT ORANGE, STATIONARY LIGHT IN THE EASTERN SKY. IT WAS EXTREMELY BRIGHT AND LARGER THAN ANY STAR IN THE VERY DARK SKY. WE WATCHED IT FOR A WHILE AND WONDERED WHAT IT WAS AND JOKED ABOUT UFOS.

WE WERE THE ONLY ONES IN THE PARKING LOT. SINCE WE WERE RUNNING LATE AND HAD GET TO LAS VEGAS,WE DECIDED TO GET ON OUR WAY. WE WERE ABOUT TEN MINUTES DOWN HIGHWAY 375 WHEN MY ATTENTION WAS DRAWN TOWARD MY PASSSENGER SIDE WINDOW BY THE BRIGHT ORANGE LIGHT THAT WAS IN THE WEST NOW.

I HAD THE FEELING THAT IT WANTED US TO OBSERVE IT. SO WE STOPPED THE TRUCK AND GOT OUT TO HAVE A LOOK. AS WE STOOD THERE WATCHING THIS EXTREMELY BRIGHT STATIONARY ORANGE LIGHT IT CHANGED TO YELLOW! WE HAD A PAIR OF BINOCULARS IN THE TRUCK.

WE GOT THEM FOCUSED ON THE BRIGHT YELLOW LIGHT. WHAT WE SAW WAS A TOP-SHAPED OBJECT THAT WAS SO BRIGHT IT WAS LIKE MOLTEN, FIREY,WHITE-YELLOW METAL. THERE WAS AN AURA OF RED AROUND IT, AND IT WAS PULSATING.

SUDDENLY THERE WAS ANOTHER LIGHT SMALLER VERY BRIGHT YELLOW LIGHT THAT APPEARED ABOUT A FOOT AWAY (OUR EARTHLY PERSPECTIVE) TO THE LEFT OF THE BIGGER FIRY BRIGHT YELLOW LIGHT. IT TOO WAS STATIONARY. WE TURNED AROUND TO THE EAST AND THERE WAS ANOTHER ONE ABOUT THE SAME SIZE AS THE SECOND LIGHT.

IT TOO WAS BRIGHT AND STATIONARY. ALL OF THEM APPEARED THE SAME AS WE VIEWED THEM WITH THE BINOCULARS. WE COMMENTED THAT THE BIG LIGHT MUST HAVE MOVED TO THE EAST FROM THE WEST WHILE WE WERE DRIVING; AND THAT THE OTHER TWO LIGHTS WERE NOT PRESENT WHEN WE FIRST NOTICED THE BIG BRIGHT LIGHT IN THE EASTERN SKY.

WE GOT IN THE TRUCK AND CONTINUED DOWN THE HIGHWAY. AS WE WERE TRAVELING ALONG, THE DRIVER WAS SUDDENLY STARTLED AND SAID SOMETHING BIG AND BAT LIKE JUST WHIZZED PAST HIS TRUCKS LEFT FENDER AND SIDE WINDOW , SO VERY CLOSE THAT HE COULD SEE IT. WHILE HE WAS MENTIONING THIS TO ME, ANOTHER ONE WHIZZED BY AND STARTLED HIM PLENTY.

IT WENT BY FAST, BUT NEAR ENOUGH FOR HIM TO NOTICE AND THEY WERE TOO BIG FOR BATS. WE STOPPED AT A CONVENIENCE STORE IN ALAMO. THE BIG BRIGHT LIGHT WAS STILL THERE ONLY BIGGER AND BRIGHTER NOW, AND THE OTHER TWO SMALLER BRIGHT LIGHTS WERE NO LONGER VISIBLE.

WE CONTINUED TO WATCH IT. BECAUSE IT CHANGED POSITIONS, WE KNEW THAT IT WAS NOT A STAR NOR A PLANET, AND IT WAS NOT MOVING AROUND LIKE A CONVENTIONAL AIRPLANE OR HELICOPTER. WHEN WE WERE TEN MINUTES DOWN THE ROAD WE STOPPED ONE MORE TIME TO HAVE A LOOK AT THE LIGHT AND IT BLINKED OUT! Soild Beam of Light; Lazer My dad came to my football game in Elko Nv. I live in reno Nv, I was on the football team;Hug Hawks.Game over my dad drove me and my girlfriend home, his truck did not have the dip stick for tranmisson, he knew of this and told us to go to the bathroom now because he is not stoping.

About a hour into the dive i fall a sleep, my dad keeps go ahead on I-80 west. My dad had to go to the bathroom so he pulled over and his truck take a dive; rocking the truck. At the same time a cop put his lights up and pulls my dad over.

He says my dads tail lights did not work, but he falt bad for my dad because he put over 5k in the truck and had the bill to show that he just took the truck to the shop. But my dads truck did not start, the cop called for a tow truck. We wait for a hour then my dad calls everyone to get some help, then my girlfriend said she got (AAA) to tow the truck.

I my dad and girlfriend wait for a half an hour, then I start watching my game that I just played. After watching the game I heared the bus that I rode on to get to the game pass bye. I start to fell a sleep, then my dad wakes me in a vocie that I could tell something was wrong.

He ask me to look at a light at some what the top of the hill, I say about 500 foot hill. I looked at the light I said its some house light, then right one time the light starts to movie to the right fast, going over all hills, rocks, bushes, and not rocking the light. It was a soild beam of light pointing right at me and my dad.

Moving very fast the beam of light was all way on us. The light moved side to side about 45deg left and 45deg right very fast. Then I woke my girlfriend she said the same thing i said the frist time but I and my dad said just look at the light now all 3 of us was look at a beam of light high in the hill, as it start to move my girlfriend jumps in the truck.

My dad pointing a flash light at the light and it stoped and as all way was about 5 feet above the ground, my dad truned off the light and the beam of light would start to move toward us. Right away my dad turn the light on the beam of light would stop but not for long. It would start to moving side to side, and come closer and closer to me and my dad.

My dad was not very happy with what is going on he gaves me a knive, and the light. He starts to call the tow truck tell the what is going on and we need to get out of there. As times pasts it get down the hill and now in the valley, now about 500 yards way form us.

I with knive in hand and light start to walk towards the light, the beam was moving side to side so i just walk in a straight line form the truck. I pointed the light at the beam of light and start to walk away form the truck about a 50 yards my dad was about 25 yard way. He was talk to the tow truck guy.

I think it took them 3 hours to get there. But any way as I'm walk to the beam of light I heard no sounds, the beam of light came at me so fast it was not funny. It was so close I could see the bushes and the little hill on the land, at the same time I saw the light in a better veiw.

It did not light up anything that was not in the beam, like a lazer. I ran to the truck and my dad fallowed, we all jumped in the truck and waited. As the light movie side to side it was about 200 yards a way.

We just waited as it got closer then start to back up, but then it would move so fast i dont even really think any would go that fast then stop and move to the right and left. I was scared my dad was scared my girlfriend was scared. As we watched the light move for about 30 more mins.

The tow truck guys came, the frist thing we said was can u look at that light, as he did he was like its nottin, just like me the beam of light started to move. He went to work get us out of their, 15 mins of look at the light we were got out of there. But as we left the light rose form the ground and start to fellow us about 5 miles the light went away.

I cant say the light was a UFO or something esle, just because the street we broke down on name is Grave Yard or something like that. Just that makes me fill I cant say what it was, all i can say is I saw what I saw. It Was a clean Light like a lazer.

2 bright red lights south of ely Driving south of Ely, about six to seven miles out, my husband and I saw an extremely bright red ball in the southern sky. We live here, and make this drive at night constantly. It was much bigger than a star, and very very bright, reddish orange, and it was definately not a plane, there were no trails, and they didn't move.

Surprised, we looked at each other making sure it was real. It didn't move at first, and it wasn't on the mountain, or a car. It was in the sky.

It just stayed there for a bit, then it disappeared. Moments later it reappeared in the same spot and stayed for awhile, and another, same size and shape, appeared a little below it. The second ball disappeared after a few seconds, and shortly after that the first ball disappeared.

It kept appearing and disappearing. Finally it went away, and we never saw it again. We have never seen anything like this before, and were actually a little shaken by it.

i am an oil painter so I take pictures of sunsets and clouds etc. The night of October 4th the sky was beautiful to the northeast of Winnemucca, Nv. Took my camera and took a few pictures.

Just picked up the picatures the other day and this is what showed up. The first picture was taken and then about 3 minutes later the 2nd picture was taken. I did not see the object when looking at the sky but it showed in the picture.

Fireball seen in sky over SE Reno. Yesterday evening I was heading home. I'd say it was about 6:45 pm, just starting to get dark.

I had my 5 year old son in the truck with me. Up in the southeast sky we saw a red fireball falling from the sky. It looked like it was going down right behind Rattlesnake Mountain (for those of you who are familiar with the Reno area.

) It looked a lot like a shooting star, the way it moved, with sort of a trailing tail behind it. But it was red. If I were to hold a coin out at arm's length, it would take a silver dollar to completely block the view of the object.

Just to give an idea of the size. As for a little background on me, I am in my early thirties and I don't have much interest in UFOs at all. My wife told me I should report this.

Dimly lighted chevron object moving quickly over NW Reno. The object was seen over the NW horizon from North of Reno. It was a delta or chevron shaped object.

At first I thought it was a dimly lit flock of geese.then relaized it was moving extremely fast and actually had very dim lights. I am outside a lot between 0345-0410 PDT for my job and this was by the far the weirdest thing I've ever seen.

It wasn't bright, but appeared close, and made no sound. I just happened to catch it because I was watching the weather balloon I had just launched.

rectangle object with plus and minus symbols was not seen until pix was enlarged. WE WERE WATCHING AN ANNUAL HOT-AIR BALLOON EVENT ON SATURDAY MORNING. THERE WERE HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE OBSERVING AS THE BALLOONS ENDED THEIR FLIGHTS AND WERE LANDING IN VARIOUS PLACES AROUND THE NEIGHBORHOOD.

I TOOK PICTURES OF AN EAGLE BALLOON. AT THE TIME WE DIDN'T NOTICE ANYTHING UNSUAL (APPARENTLY NO-ONE ELSE DID, EITHER). AT A LATER DATE AS I WAS DOWNLOADING PICTURES FROM THE SONY HANDHELD CAMCORDER ONTO MY LAPTOP, WE NOTICED A SMALL DARK RECTANGULAR OBJECT UP AND TO THE RIGHT OF THE EAGLE-HOT-AIR-BALLOON.

CURIOUS, WE ENLARGED IT REPEATEDLY. WE SEE A DARKER BAND THROUGH THE CENTER BUT ARE MOST INTERESTED IN THE PLUS'S AND MINUS'S AROUND THE PERIMETER OF THE OBJECT. THEY ARE MOST VISIBLE WHEN WE CHANGE THE ANGLE OF THE COMPUTER SCREEN.

Bright Lights 30 miles North of Lareto, Baja Mexico UFO SIGHTING Lareto Mexico BCS Thursday night Sept 22nd 2005 about 9:00 to 9: 30 PM My brother ((name deleted)) and I were driving through the central part of lower Baja Mexico on our way to Cabo San Lucas. This was a monumental endeavor never mind the fact that the two wheeler hauler/trailer was critically overloaded! Since the trailer was new and had new 8 ply tires my brother decided to pass on a spare and this was a mistake. The temperatures during the day ran from 95 to 108 degrees and we got baked! A few times I told ((name deleted)) to slow down as he was pushing it and about 30 miles north of Lareto the rear right tire on the u-hauler melted.

The first indication I had that something was wrong was when I heard that familiar and dreaded sound of a tire breaking down! As soon as I felt the Ford Exloder we were in shake my brother was fighting the wheel to bring us to a pull over stop on the side of the road. One of those gravel pit side bars that humans seem to gravitate for with a variety of reasons and intentions. Right away I ran a mental inventory and realized we did NOT have a spare for the trailer! Phil did a problem solution and I sat with the trailer like road kill waiting to happen and ((name deleted)) drove to Lareto to find help.

About an hour and a half later ((name deleted)) drove up with another car following him into the roadside rat trap. ((name #2 deleted)) told us not to worry that he had been in the "business" for 25 years! As he checked out our bad right tire on the trailer he told his friend to check the air pressure on the left side. ((name deleted)) and I did not pay attention as I was sick and he could only watch so much of it.

((name deleted)) told us he would take our rim to his shop to find us a tire and fix the bent rim. This was around eight o clock to eight-thirty. For about twenty minutes ((name deleted)) and I hung out and as I was looking out into the darkness I saw spotlight come out from what I first thought was a helicopter going real fast.

I said to my brother, "Are they using a helicopter to look for illegal aliens or drug smugglers"? Thing was the light source was a square box as apposed to a round searchlight! The light source then did a sweep over the hills lighting up some hillsides and this was about 2 to 3 miles from where we were. Then the light source seemed to zip straight away from me and I was looking towards the north west. It the seemed to turn to the left and at that point my brother and I were yelling at each other that we had to take in every second of this.

I could just make out a slivery pinpoint that was stationary in the sky for at least 20 to 25 seconds. Then it took off and all I could see was a thin vapor trail. However this was a vapor trail that was different from any I had ever seen.

It was heavy and dense and as it started to dissapate it started to form a long egg shape/oval type balloon! It was then I noticed a shiny glint coming from the vehicle. Almost like some had a silver knife at a camp ground and the sun reflected off it as you looked down from a switchback or peak of a mountain. Right away I thought I was looking at some kind of inter-planetary space shuttle type vehicle! My brother was also in a state of near hysteria as the vapor trail continued to expand and for 8 to 10 minutes it continued to expand as it dissapated.

The pin point silver object seemed to have left for a journey into space! ((name deleted)) and I talked, ranted and raved about what we had seen and what it could be or mean. I do know that I did see this light coming out from a vehicle that I thought at first was a helicopter but it had a square light source and ended up taking off like a space shuttle only NOT from a launching pad strapped to 3 rocket engines! My brother and I will always be convinced we witnessed a UFO and when ((mechanic)) and friends returned they told us they had seen the "strange" balloon type light that lit up the sky! They all told us they had NEVER seen anything like it before!!.

Large glowing streak in sky with two strange objects. Object flew towards N.W.

at fast rate with large glowing misty tail about 1/4 mile long from top of mountain peak. Sky was very well lit due to this. Left a red colored tail with yellowish blue myst.

Colors stayed in air for 1/2 hour. Flying object was gone after 10 minutes or less. Large white object hovered over area with no side to side motion.

Three bright craft traveling at immense speeds at impossible trajectory variants displaying some type of cloaking capability. We were star gazing looking toward the Northern most mountain range when we saw a "star" move in a northwestern trajectory and then suddenly slow down and shift to a southern trajectory regain immense speed and continue at a western trajectory. It then disappeared and reappeared further away agin until it was out of sight all in aabout 45 seconds.

Two minutes later we saw another larger looking star start south and the change velocity to follow the first and within 3-5 seconds disappear when another bright light also appear for around 3-5 seconds, head toward the same area and flicked out competely flicked on again and finally flicked out at unimaginable speeds . These craft or what ever you would call them were about the size of venus on a good night but in the wrong area and moving incogruently to anything I've ever seen in the sky except for maybe a shooting star, but shooting stars DO NOT CHANGE TRAJECTORIES MID-FLIGHT OR TRAVEL IN GROUPS!!.

rainbow color lights over Lake Tahoe area, Cylinder object makes animals in area act strange and howl before apperance Saw craft hoovering over NW area and was just in one spot for 10 minutes We viewed through binoculars and telescope and watched as the lights changed through a series of rainbow pattern lights from red thru purple/blue. continued to do the pattern for a full 10 minutes then vanished into the sky leaving no trails, Prior to sighting of object animals started to act strange and all dogs in area started to howel like wolfes then all was quiet. Three stationary saucer shaped objects over Sunrise Mountain, east side of Las Vegas, NV, August 2005. Towards the end of August, 2005, I went out in my backyard to look at the thunder clouds about 5PM. My backyard was high, faced east and had an unobstructed 180 degree view being forty feet higher than the rooftops to the east.

Thunder storms were developing and cumulous clouds were building. As I enjoyed the view, I noticed a dark spot in the sky over the south end of "Sunrise" Mountain to the NE of Henderson. Facing east, the object appeared to be at 11 o’clock.

It was against blue sky in a large break between the clouds and it was stationary. It was roughly above the flight path along Charleston Street that helicopters use for McCarran Airport. They travel a a couple thousand feet.

This was much higher than that. To the naked eye it appeared to be large and round. My first thought was that it might be a helium balloon, but logic told me it was in the wrong place for that, the wrong time of day, and the wrong sort of weather.

The south end of Sunrise Mountain is about five or six miles from my house. I estimated the altitude of the thing to about 10,000 feet more or less. I stepped into the house and retrieved binoculars.

The object had not moved. When I focused on the object I saw it was actually three round shapes fairly close together. A large round plate was partially hiding another slightly smaller plate behind it at about one o’clock to the first, and a third round plate, appearing smaller yet, at about 2 o’clock to the biggest one.

The relative sizes gave the impression of three objects each at a slightly increasing distances and slightly different altitudes. They appeared to be dull metallic silver. There were no lights on the objects.

I watched for about a minute, maybe less, and then, through the binoculars I saw all three objects “keel over” in unison by about 90 degrees at which point they appeared thin and flat. I called my wife and son and, with a second pair of binoculars, tried to help them spot the objects. However, they wear glasses, are not used to spotting small objects, etc and they never saw them.

In between trying to help my family to see them too, I watched for another couple of minutes. Finally, the clouds intervened and hid whatever they were from further view. My house was about as half mile South of the flight path into McCarran Airport.

Commercial aircraft continued to land during this time, basically following Sunset Rd into the airport with landing lights on below about three thousand feet. They and are a common sight. This was not a helicopter or an airplane or a harrier jump jet, etc.

All three objects were clearly visible and I have no explanation for what they could have been. ((NUFORC Note: Witness indicates that the date of the sighting is approximate. PD)).

Two lights performed a slingshot maneuver obtaining great speed shooting off in opposite directions from a geosync orbit above the eart Star gazing 20 miles east of Elko Nevada I spotted two what I suspected to be stars equaling in light intensity (white in color) as the serounding stars. Suddenly the two lights focused my attention as they rotated about an axial point between them at a speed which the light started to streak. Within one or two full rotations the lights shot off in opposite direction and vanished about 25% across the horizon each.

This leads me to believe the craft had reached or exceeded the speed of light at the point which they has vanished. At the time the maneuver was performed, to the time the lights disappeared; the duration was less then 1 second. The lights (suspected to be stars) remained in what I believe now to be a Geosynchronous Orbit above the earth’s atmosphere.
