Tiny white lights flying around each other in the upper atmosphere. Yes this was 11 years ago, but I remember the date because it was my birthday. It was a clear winter night, no clouds in the sky.
My mother and I were driving east on Apple Blossom road, coming back from visiting my grandmother. We were talking about how clear the stars were and whether or not we could make out the milky way ribbon. We both saw (at the same time) two or three lights dancing around one another in the sky.
They were white and looked like any other bright star you'd expect to see on a clear night like that. They would sort of zip around one another and seemed to freeze and turn a different direction instantly. Then I got pulled over because I was swerving.
I told the officer why I was swerving and he let me go with a Happy Birthday.

I own a on location skytracker searchlight service. I was looking in the sky at the beams.right at sundown.
as this was a newer machine and the location was about 2 miles across the river.looking up in the sky.I noticed a refection through low partly cloudy skyies.
warm night.low level cumulus clouds. (not complete cloud cover or fog like.
more like a spring day than winter day) I saw this directly over my house about 5000 feet in the air. The light would flash against it.like a derigible or Goodyear blimp.
It was stationaary.could not notice lights did not feel compelled to report it.as I didn't know there was a report.
web site or that it was not considered mental illness to report. I know it was some craft.and it was stationary.
and my searchlight beam reflected off of it. It was large.larger than any air craft.
It was not a C 130 from the AFB in Jaxville either. I saw it as did my partner.on my front steps.
Cylinder and seemed similar to the submarine in Voyage to bottom of the Sea.with a saucer end then large fusalage like. It was just hanging in the sky.
as if it was just taking a view. I then waited the one or two seconds after looking at it for a few rotations of the skytracker searchlgiht and then the clouds moved and it was just gone as if it was not there. It was something.
and it was reflected.and I wouln't wait over 3 years to report it if I was just making it up. I know I saw something and I don't think it was a weather baloon.
There is just no body.to report this stuff to locally.here.
Few people want to work in Arkansas after 5pm. It is characteristic of the lifestyle here. There are no live local real radio stations and It was not there long enough to call a TV station.
I tried to take a picture.but it did not show up. I am not crazy, as I have seen on TV people who have seen a similar craft.
Not weird colored lights in night sky.but actual craft hanging in air.total silence.
unsual. could of been spy derigible possibly but why would they be syping at 5 to 10,000 feet rather than closer to earth.and why would it be over Maumelle? a typical suburb.
did not see disk or strange lights or movement.but I did see something and I was not looking for it.when I saw it.
I was only observing the searchlight beam and the reflectiion was obvious.and it was not making the same reflection as a cloud would make.

My name is ((name deleted)), I live in Little Rock AR. On Oct.22nd 2005 at approximately 9:10 pm (CDT), I was out on our back patio smoking a cigarette and looking up at the sky about 45 degrees from the horizon in a west north westerly direction.
Right were I was looking, I noticed that a couple of stars blinked on and off. That immediately caught my attention. A second later I’m starting to make out a "V" shape in the sky.
I’m first thinking it must be geese, but in a fraction of a second, I realized I’m looking at an incredible object of great size, almost as big as a commercial airliner, almost right on top of me by then. I also am very aware that there is no sound whatsoever, not even the movement of air. The object was "Y"- shaped, traveling at great speed in an east south easterly direction.
I noticed on the bottom of this object, there were round concave or perhaps bulging circles. I can only estimate the number but i would say approximately 12 of these circles were laid out very symmetrically along the Y. This object had no lights or no self luminescence.
The only way I seen this object is because it was only approximately 150 feet off the ground and the street lights reflecting from its great size allowed me to see these for only 4 seconds at the most, but those 4 sec. have left an impression on me that I'll always remember. After it came over, our two dogs and both neighbors dogs were barking like crazy.
I then ran into the house to get my 3 children. I was so shook up, I was babbling, trying to explain to them what I had I just seen. I feel really fortunate to have witnessed this phenomenon.
Had I not been where I was and looking up during those 4 seconds I would have never seen this great object. Like I said earlier there was no sound to alert me to look up. I was just fortunate.

Saw 3 round lights appearing to be surround in fog, 2 following each other, one to the east.heading north, one wen NNE. Siloam Springs, AR Thursday Oct 13 approx 0215.
As I left work I looked up to the southern skies noticing the moon was partially covered with clouds but that several stars were visible. At this point I noticed what appeared to be two lights surrounded by fog heading north, one was directly behind the other. A third one was a bit further back and slightly to the east of them.
They all were moving at about the same speed with the first two continuing north and the third veered to the NNE. Then they were out of my vision line.

Round light appeared to be surrounded by fog, approaced from south neaded NNE, changed speed, then turned sharply west. Siloam Springs, AR Tuesday Oct 11, 05. When in the parking lot leaving work at approx 0320, facing the south, I looked up to the sky and noticed what appeared to be a round light, surrounded by fog, very high in the sky coming from the south heading NNE at a very steady pace.
The stars were bright and there did not appear to be any clouds that I could see. Thinking it was probably a jet flying quite high, it kept heading NNE, but right as it got overhead, it sped up dramatically and when it got slightly north of my position it quite abruptly made a 90 degree turn straight west and I lost sight of it.

Shiny Silver Oval Object Over Chester, Arkansas Well I guess its your basic " I was driving down the road story". I was coming back from mountainburg and was already in chester. I was heading "west" on old crossroads when I noticed a flash in the sky.
My first thought was "wow, that plane is flying low". Then when I looked back up I seen it was making a sharp curve just above the trees. I realized then that no plane can fly that way.
So I did a u-turn and went to a spot close by where I knew I could pull off the road. I got out of the car and stood in the road watching this object. It was flying and making curves that a plane could never make.
It would then straighten up and fly normal. Then it would slow down and wiggle from side to side. It did both the curving maneuvers and wiggling a few times.
It seemed to move more of my way so I was able to get a good look. There is really nothing to explain cause it was very plain looking. It was oval shaped.
Toward the edges of this object it got thin. Meaning it was alot thicker in the middle then the edges. There was no markings or windows.
It didnt make a sound. But what I consider the most fascinating was the color. It was the most shiny silver color I have ever seen.
It was amazing how the sun reflected from this object. I want to say it looked like a piece of polished sterling silver, but it was more shiny then silver. I can honestly say I have never seen such a brilliant piece of metal before.
I literally had to shield my eyes from the glare. After it did its funny flying and wiggling a few times it slowed down again. I figured it was going to wiggle like it already had several times.
But instead it took off like a bullet. It was so fast I cant even explain how fast it was! It took off in a northwest direction over the top of a mountain. It was still just above the tree line when it took off.
It wasnt a large object. As a matter of fact it was rather small. I'm making a guess here, but would say it wasnt over 30 feet long.

A ovular/circular object flew by me towards the south, almost stopped, slowly traveled for a few minutes, shot away, and then came back I go to Harding University. My cousin came in town to look at the campus and stayed at the campus hotel. It is physically ON the campus.
Well, the room was on the fourth floor and an extension to the hotel was being built on the third (i.e. You could walk out onto the roof.
It was a really nice night so I just decided to go lay outside on the roof while I was talking to my girlfriend. All of the sudden, I'm laying down looking at the sky and I see what I originally thought was a shooting star. So, getting my attention, I followed it with my eyes.
I noticed that it was not illuminated and not traveling as fast as I have seen shooting stars travel in the past. What REALLY shocked me was when it seemed to slow down at about 120 degrees from my point of view (I was laying down flat and it came from the North West, moving in a south eastern). It was low enough that I could see features and at this point knew it was not a shooting a star.
It was brown in shape, ovular/circular, seemed to have a "flower-petal" equal outer indentation taking up it's entire base. It seemed like it was spinning but I’m not positive it was. But at one point it seemed to come to a stop then all of the sudden it shot out in a more prominent south eastern direction.
So, I hang up the phone with my friend and call my mom and grandma to see what I should do. Ok, so I'm on the phone with my mom and grandma absolutely panicked and all of the suddenly, at a much lower altitude, what seemed to be the EXACT same object jet from the East back to a little North of where it came from before (directly above me at approx. 90 degrees) and almost came to a stop AGAIN.
Then it jetted directly West after about 30 seconds of slow movement. The thing that freaked me out the most was about a minute or two after that, I got a bloody nose. I don't know if there has ever been any connection between nosebleeds and confirmed sightings, but it freaked me out.
I called the Searcy Police Department to report it and I never heard anything back from them. That's pretty much the story. I know it sounds crazy, but I'm not a loon.
I am an honors student and pretty well grounded.

Triangular craft sighted in Lowell. I had gone outside with my new camera to see if I could take some photos of the moon or anything else in the dark. I walked out of the front door and would have been facing towards the east looking at the stars and thinking how cool the constellations looked.
I looked at what I thought was an interesting looking group of stars when all of a sudden the group of "stars" moved and I realized it was some aricraft turning. The shape was triangular, although not as wide as the one I observed in June. It appeared to be coming from the same direction thought.
It made an unusual looking sharp turn and flew over my street and kind of straightened out towards a southerly direction. I had the camera up and the screen was on. I kept trying to depress the shutter, but it wouldn't work for anything.
This was a new camera and I was really upset. As it got over the street, I ran to the street still with the camera up and trying to snap the photo. This sighting happened very quickly and I didn't yell for anyone while i was running behind it with the camera.
It went very quickly towards the south. Like the first triangle I saw in June, there was no sound whatsoever. This on seemed to have light all the way to the fron point of the triangle and across the back as well.
The lights were again cream or light yellow in color. After it disappeared, I ran in the house and told my husband about it. I tried my camera on the same setting in the house and it worked fine.
I really don't know what went wrong with my camera, but it was new, so it could have been anything.

Ultra black, cigar shaped object streaks across night sky over Fayetteville, Arkansas At 8:45 pm CST, while walking our dog, my wife and I spotted an ultra-black object in the sky, which was significantly darker than the background sky. This object was cigar shaped and was moving rather briskly in a S.W.
direction from the N.E. sky.
It took approximately 10-seconds for this object to traverse the sky and disappear behind the treeline. The color was black, but far darker than any shade of black we've previously seen. It was almost "void" of reflectivity, so much so that it's shape was clearly dilineated against the night sky (which by comparison seemed to be dark gray).
There were no clouds in the sky, only a modest wind of about 15 mph from the N.W., perpendicular to the motion of the object.
While the object could be characterized as "cigar shaped" it would have to have been a pretty fat cigar as it was almost a third of the way between a basic cylinder and a football in overall shape. The front and back ends were brighter, with a steady but dim glow. There was no apparent sound for this object.
After it was out of sight, we scanned the sky and found an airplane as a point-of-comparison. The plane was clearly and significantly different from the object we had just seen. The plane's shape could be seen against the night sky, but it was lighter in color than the background.
The plane also had strobing beacons that flashed quite brilliantly. The plane also took about 45 seconds to traverse an area across the sky that was roughly the same number of arc degrees that the ultra-black object crossed in only 10-seconds.

Oval lighted object made no noise as it rapidly flew overhead in sky. On Friday, August 12 2005 around 4:25 AM I stepped outside for a smoke, and I looked overhead to see if I could catch any of the meteor shower. It was too cloudy, but I spotted a single oval object moving rapidly across the sky.
It was heading toward the north side of town, and it had lights on the underside. It seemed almost to be shiny or have a haze or glow to the sides, but I can't be sure. It could have been a trick of the lights on the object.
It did not look like any aircraft I had seen before, and I heard no noise at all. The object seemed to maintain its speed while overhead, though as I was losing sight of it the object seemed to slow some. This however could have been due to my perspective and line of sight.

seven craft of three different, unique shapes, observed over north fayetteville neighborhood. My husband called me outside at about midnight or very early morning of august fifth. He pointed up above the trees across the road at a blue, chandeleir crystal shaped object.
It seemed to be spinning flashing bright, sparkly light all around it. Then he pointed ubove the house and there, posted like centurions was four, rectangular with triangle tops, like a childs drawing of a house. Each of these objects were all of different colors but yet you could see through them.
Then in the middle of the road was a bright gold light. May have been mars? Also to the south was another bright blue sparkly thing but it wasnt as big as the other blue object. I woke my daughter and her husband to come see.
We noticed some neighbors in pajamas looking too. There was a police cruiser who drove by right under the biggest, blue object. He drove very slowly and he had his headlights off.
After a couple of hours I went into bed, with them still out there and watched through the window as the porchlight pulsed, as if power surges and then dimmer. I called my mom, I then called the police but rreported anonymously. I dont think they took me seriously.
Before I went into bed we noticed a flat, black aircraft with a bright flashing red light on top racing around the sky very quickly under these objects as if to warn them that they had been noticed by our militery? Also, planes began arriving from the east about every three minutes. When we got up the next morning the sky was divided into perfect pie wedges made with com trails. as if to mark each objects location.
Some very odd things happened after we all got to bed. I will discuss that part, privately with an investigator if you like. ((NUFORC Note: Date may be approximate, although the witness does not indicate that fact.

A light going fast in a straight line & jagged to the left once & then dissappeared It was late evening around 11pm central time. We just got back home and we looked up at the stars it was clear and beautiful. This is when we saw a star moving pretty fast across the sky.
It was a bright white light, it was going in a straight line and then it jagged over to the left and went straight again then you can tell it was headed out into outerspace because the light faded and then dissappeared all the while it stayed straight. You have to look straight up to see it. There were no sounds from an aircraft.
It was not a shooting star. It looked just like a normal star but it was moving. There was only one.

There were seven U.F.O.
s that circled my house. My friend and I we're sitting on my back porch last night just shootin the bull, when out of no where we see these three red and green lights coming our way. Pretty soon, there were seven of them.
The lights were arraigned with one red light on front and two greens on the sides. They we're flying around i don't really think they had a pattern to them butit was sort of like they were just flying in circles around my crops. Then the object made a sound.
It had a strange resemblance to a deisel engine. This went on for exactly 32 minutes when the ships finally passed over.

Blue flash turning green and lights up entire sky My son and nephew saw a blue flash of light that turned green and then faded. This lit up the entire sky. This was not fireworks.
This occured in a very rural area. When recounting the story my husband related that he saw the same thing in southwestern Missouri in 1987 at a little after midnight. The flash he saw was reported in newspapers and was apparently seen in 4 counties in southwest Missouri.

The ufo that i saw had left a light trail when it dissapeared. I am 13 years old. I have been searching the skys for ufos since i was 7, and I would never fake a ufo sighting.
One day i was on my way to work with my mom, and out of the corner of my eye, I saw something flash. I looked over and saw a kind of egg shaped ufo. I was unable to see the exact shape, but for an instant I saw it hover over some trees, then all of the suddeb it dissapears and I see a slight "light trail" that it left behind and it soon dissapeared as well.
About 2 minutes later I saw it again, floating over a hill, above some trees. It also dissapeared and left the same light trail. Also last tuesday my freind brought over his walkie talkie and when it was sitting on the ground it made a screeching sound and i herd some gurgling.
Then it suddenly made the screeching sound again and turned off.

Large silent triangular craft sighted. Mr. Dennis Balthaser said that I should report the two triangle sightings I have had this year on this site Mr.
Davenport. I consider him a wise person, and will follow his suggestion. On June 8, 2005, I had just recived a phone call from my son that he had been involved in an accident on a road near a nearby lake.
I was running out the front door and down the sidewalk to my car when I realized there was something coming out of a cloud. I looked up and saw a huge triangular craft exit a cloud or something reddish brown like a cloud and it was straight up above me. I was facing somewhat south as I headed to my car in the driveway.
The size and the silence of the craft stopped me in my tracks and for a second I couldn't do anything but stare. It came out of the north and was directly paralle to Interstate 540 in Lowell. This meant it was headed in a southerly direction.
The only way I can guess at the altitude is that it was about the altitude of a plane upon descent to the airport about 15 miles west of me. That, or very shortly after lift-off altitude. There was no sound coming from it at all, and no strobing lights visible.
The shape was well defined triangle. There were cream or light yellowed colored lights across the back or flat edge of the triangle and they went up towards the front point about three-quarters of the way. The lights didn't extend all the way into the point.
The width of it across the back edge appeared to be a football field or more perhaps. I couldn't guess at the length because I was pretty overwhelmed at the size as it went over me. I watched it long enough for it to go over several houses after mine, but it may have only been a minute or more.
I am not aware of any other witnesses, because I had to quickly go to my son's accident, but used enough time to run towards my front door screaming for my husband. He ran out the back door of the house but it had already appeared to enter another clouded area. I have not talked with any of my neighbours except one who did not see anything that night.
She was not outside at that time.

Bright Blue/White Meteor-like Object Manuvering Over Arkansas I am a former United States Marine and Special Forces Soldier having served over ten years between the US Army and USMC. I am also a former Fireman and First Responder. On the morning of June 5th, 2005 at about 0130 to 0200 hrs, I was sitting out in my front yard in rural Royal, Arkansas.
I was facing south, talking long distance on the phone to my brother in Maryland. We often talk for long periods late at night and I have observed several interesting meteorlogical and celestial phenomenon during these conversations but I had never until this time, seen anything that was in any way difficult to identify. There was a thunderstorm approaching from the west (my right) and the entire area was under a Strong Thunderstorm Watch issued by the NOAA a couple hours before and I had, for some time, been watching the distant (As much as 10 miles distant) lightening as it illuminated the low hanging clouds of the approaching storm.
At one point, I turned my head to the east (my left) where the sky remained fairly clear and some stars were still visible, and it was at this time that I saw what I at first believed to be a very large meteor burning up as it entered Earth's atmosphere. Approx Ground Coords Under Event: 34 Deg,34.152 North, 093 Deg, 12.
730 West (WGS84) I was immediately puzzled by the fact that the object appeared to be pulsing as it traveled from east to west across the night sky. The effect was as if a very bright, blue-white, blinking light was moving at high speed, creating the optical illusion of a series of "dashes" as it traveled. The object blinked, creating 4 dashes on it's east to west heading and then to my complete surprise, changed direction without any visible manuvering or change in speed.
One split-second it was traveling east to west, the next, it was traveling a nearly reverse heading, approxmiately 15 to 20 degrees more southerly than it's initial heading. The object blinked four more times, creating visible "dashes" each time and then simply disappeared. The light from this object was bright enough to leave an after-image on my retina for several minutes.
There was no sound and no other observed phenomenon in relation to the appearance and disappearance of this object.
