Object's light looks like a meteor falling in Earth's atmosphere I was going for a walk to the park, crossing the yard I saw a bright streak in the western sky, very far away. I first thought it was a plane, it may have been a plane, but it looked more like a comet or meteor. Like the one that was caught on tape some years back over a football field.

Now I did not think it a craft, but It appeared to be going down in the harizion, in the western sky of mississippi. The tail seemed short for a plane, yet very wide since I could Not see the object. It was that far away.

It may have been a comet, if it was not a plane. Oh it was going south to the north, downwards in the western sky of Mississippi. At about 4:45pm to 5pm, central time zine.

Very larg and very bright I was coming home from work that night, when i saw bright lights in the sky. I stopped across the road from my house. I was about 200 feet away from some thing i had never dreamed of seeing.

About 25 feet off the ground and right above my house was an aircraft about 300 feet long, and about 200 feet wide, 100 feet tall. This craft had the brightest lights i had ever saw, but did not hurt to look at them. There was 09 light in front, and 09 lights on the side i could see.

I guess these lights to be 75 feet tall in the center, and got smaller as the lights got closer to the ends of this craft. I saw the craft dip one corner down, i was sure it was going to hit my house. I blue my air horn to get my wife and sons attention, hoping they would run out side, and not get hurt in the house if it fell.

When i looked back up the craft was gone, and my house was not damaged at all. I asked my wife if she had seen, or herd any thing, she said no. We went back out side ! so i could show them were i saw this craft, and at that moment 03 military aircraft appeared at tree top level in after burn,turning west right above my house.

Think what you want, i know what i saw. I don't drink, or do drugs. thank you.

Flash of bright green light streaked across the sky for about 2 seconds. Was driving, heading east, saw a flash of bright green light in the sky and then it streaked across the sky for about 2 seconds and disappeared into a flash of white. It has a small tail from the movement.

The sky was very clear, but not many stars visible.

Large bright light A well respected couple was walking one morning just before daylight. They both saw a huge, bright, circular light right above the trees. She said that it was there for several seconds then disappeared.

Green flash then witness high altitude slow moving large fireball trajectory intersected by Explosion in the dark cloudless sky early this morning. It was at high elevation and appeared to be over Terry, MS (although that may be a bad guess). It took place @ 6:00am + - 5min.

There was an initial bright greenish flash. It lit my up driveway and my first thought was lightening, but upon looking up, I was met by this odd spectacle. what I witnessed was a ball of fire that slowly traveled a short distance across the sky leaving a large smoke trail before it exploded.

No audible evidence of the explosion ever presented itself. A friend of mine saw the same event while out jogging in Vicksburg, MS. He said it looked like it was heading almost straight down from his perspective 50mi away from Florence.

As for viewing angle, he said it appeared to be approximately E @ a 45deg up from the horizon. From my perspective in Florence, it was headed SE on a slow trajectory and lasted approximately 10sec. My viewing angle put it approximately WSW @ 80deg up from the horizon.

In addition, what looked like a shooting star traveling SW at high speed intersected where the burning object would have been if it hadn't exploded a fraction of a second earlier. Really looked like an airplane was being shot down by missiles. Can't imagine what else it might have been.

It certainly didn't appear to be a meteor judging by past experience. Rather unnerving.

Please don't laugh at this I went out in our front yard to catch a smoke and enjoy the stars. We live in the middle of a national forest on a high hill and have a great sky view. I spotted a small plane with its lights flashing going from west to east and then I turned to face north and saw something flashing white in the Northeast.

At first it looked like a star but it was flashing and moving toward the north-east. At first I thought it was a satellite but (I know this sounds crazy) it was doing this kind of herky-jerky movement. It would slow down,dip up and down zig-zag and sort of wiggle around.

There were no flashing strobes or noise and it just continued in this erratic manner until it was due north and then it did this funny loop thing, straightened out and shot off at a high speed. I am very familiar with all sorts of aircraft as I was married to an airforce man. I can tell you, I have never seen anything like this.

In fact this thing looked so crazy I almost didn't want to send this in. But my husband convinced me to as he told me if anybody might have seen something like this you folks would know. I am 50,my husband is 56 and with all the Hurricane Katrina upset I certainly wouldn't be writing this if it weren't true.

I mean this thing was bizzare,it would even almost come to a complete stop and then continue on. The light it gave off was white ,it didn't flash but sort of pulsed.It looked like a star that just decided to just take off and do a strange dance.

Passenger witnesses peculiar, rectangular object track his aircraft. Hi Fileing this report this way because your form do not apply. Continental Flight 1741Y Mexico City to Newark 31.

august 2005 Seat 10F About 1 pm We had just passed the delta of the Mississippi River and the captain informed us that the descent to Newark had started. The time was a little over one o’clock in the afternoon local time. I was sitting half a sleep in my seat looking out of the window when a strange object passed in a distance besides the wing of our plane.

My brain was at 50% capacity. A strange kind of "bug," I thought. A "bug" in the sky? The "bug" slid parallel to the plane and was in sight for about 5 to 7 seconds.

Then it got to me. It was no "bug," but a dark silhouette of a rectangular object that looked like a coffin with a zigzag halo around it that was darker in color then sky. The TV monitor showed the ground speed to be about 800 kmh and 40000 feet above ground (I could not remember exact data).

There was no reference point so it was impossible to determine the size and distance of the object. The question is now, what did I saw? A balloon at a ground speed a little lowers then the plane or a new secret flying device of some kind patrolling the airspace over the US? It is everyone’s guess. If the pilots have been awake in the cockpit they to must have seen the object passing by.

Has someone else on this flight seen the object. Please come forward, if you have? The attached photo is manipulated in Photoshop to illustrate my observation. The clouds are part of the storm that hit New Orleans so bad.

The object could be the same that was observed on Wednesday afternoon, July 13, 2005 in the Seattle area. It has the same memo. I never expected to see a UFO look like as described.

I saw three bright lights, came back later, and they were gone. Me and my parents were sitting outside on our porch when my dad noticed three lights we've never seen before. They were brighter than the north star.

This was at night. We saw these around 8:30PM. We came out at 9:00PM and the lights were gone.

We looked all around the sky, but we could never find them. They were arranged in a line, evenly spaced. It was not Orion's belt, I looked for it to check.

Sphere turns into jet My husband and I were out working in the yard and I happened to see a jet coming from the west that was probably at 25,000 feet. The setting sun reflected off of the jet. Approxiamtely 5 or 10000 feet below the jet was a small silver looking sphere that also was reflecting the sun.

I pointed it out to my husband and as we were watching it the sphere turned black and then turned into a black replica of the jet overhead!! I still could only hear one aircraft. Both objects flew to the east out of sight.

heard pup barking and walked outside to see something oddly shaped in neibors yard.at approx.4;30am.

something flew over trees across road and as we were trying to realize it . it vanished. later in the night something was standing in a neibors yard and our dogs seemed stunned by it.

exept a puppy which barked . and cats went berzerk. this is not the first strange thing around here in the last few years.

Low flying luminous white sphere trailing white flames. At the time my sighting happened I worked for a local television station. I was relieved by my replacement at midnight and after grabbing a cup of coffee headed home traveling north on HWY 53.

About 5 miles down the road near a old peach orchard I noticed a light coming from behind out the driver window. I turned and was very startled at what i saw. Of course it was pitch black and distance can be hard to judge.

A object was traveling in the same direction I was and would guess it was about a quarter mile away. It was at perhaps 3 times the height of the trees which are across a large open field. There were no obstructions to block my view.

Out my window it appeared to be about the size of a silver dollar which if it were a quarter mile away would make it fairly large. I would like to say it was a sphere but since i only saw one side can only guess. It was perfectly round, white and luminous like a light bulb.

It trailed white boiling flames behind which were about two or three times the width of the object long. In the night sky it really stood out. It was going maybe two or three times as fast as i was on a parallel course and disappeared from my view when the field came to a end and the trees were once again right next to the road.

I was very shakened but soon convinced myself I just didnt understand what i was seeing. Two or so miles further I made a left turn onto Cable Bridge Rd to continue home and would take me across the objects flight path. Mind you this is just after midnight and i am use to not seeing any cars much less people.

Just past a elementary school i passed a small house on my right. There were perhaps 3 or 4 people in their PJ's standing in their front yard scanning the night sky. I should have stopped but was tired and continued home.

I did decide i would go to the peoples home one day during regular hours and trade stories. The next day i did write everything down and am fairly good with graphic art sor! ftware so made a crude short graphic film. Unfortunatly I kept! putting off stopping to talk to the people I saw in their yard.

Within a month or so hurricane Katrina hit and their home was reduced to a pile of rubble. I had no idea where they went and will always regret not hearing their story.

2 cylinder or tube objects above the city of Memphis. Horn Lake Park in Horn Lake, Mississippi, very near Memphis, TN airport. Early morning I was working out.

Laying on the deck doing situps.skys were clear, sunny. FedEx planes and other aircraft were out.

Very busty morning. However, out of the blue.an object that looked like a cylinder or a tube.

very metallic flew by.no sound. It was low.

maybe 1000ft? First thing I thought was.wow where is the wings? I dismissed it until another tube went by.exact flight path as the other.

Same description. It didn't hit me until after I seen them that I started wondering. Where were the wings? Where was the sound? Was it a missile? Seemed odd it was flying in such busy skys.

but then again.it made perfect sense because the skys were so busy anyway with planes and such. Besides that who would report it? Its taken me 3 months just to report it because I had to come to termsn with what I seen.

A metallic tube or cylinder object flying about 1000 ft maybe a bit more up in the air. How long or big? Dont know.didn't see it long enough.

Three spheres with lights underneath. all connected. Hwy 53, Mississippi.

Turkey hunting. Smelled smoke- like something was burning. I was turkey hunting off Hwy 53.

Just before it was dark I saw a craft lift up from behind some trees. It had 3 spheres with lights under each sphere. They were connected in the middle.

It lifted up above the treetops and the spheres tilted and the ship slowly drifted away. I was close enough to know I've never seen anything like this before. ((NUFORC Note: Witness elects to remain totally anonymous.

Large ,bright white ,rectangular object hovers in western sky The dogs were barking strangely so I went to the door to investigate. When I opened the door I heard a loud roaring, which caused me to look upward. There was a large object with white lights (non flashing) hovering low in the sky.

It was very clear and you could see the image of the craft. The sound seemed to go away as I stepped into my front yard. You could clearly see that one part of the object was spinning.

I ran inside to get the digital camera, binoculars and the movie camera. The digital camera picked up the object not to clear, but when you hit the quick fix button , the shape becomes very distinct. I'm 46 yrs old and my daughter is 11.

Large craft hovering, with bright clear lights The dogs had been barking strangely for about 10 minutes when I went outside. There was a loud roaring sound, unlike an airplane or jet. This caused me to look upward when I saw a strange shaped craft with bright non flashing lights, white or clear in color.

The image was very clear, it appeared very large and was hovering low in the western sky. My 11 yr old daughter and I were the only ones that saw it, she was frightened because it was so close and clearly recognizable. I ran in and got the digital camera, movie camera and binoculars,.

Through the binoculars you could see a portion of the object spinning. The pics didn't come out too clear but you can tell there was something unusual there.

ufo - 2 big white lights - Mississippi Me and my friend were going down the road when i jokingly said look a ufo. Not registering that it was something like i have never seen before. He laughed and then stopped and looked confused.

It moved fairly slow but slower than an airplane or helicopter at this height. It was heading over the trees to the right of us with 2 big white lights. Not regular sized lights but lights so big that they do not exist on this earth.

It headed over the road and stopped to the left in the sky no more than a 1000 ft. high. It completely stopped moving when we stopped to check it out.

When we completely stopped the bright white lights tured into two red lights with a yellow light in the middle. It was too dark to see because the light just overpowed the view of any object behind it. After ten secods it disappeared.

There were 2 of them that changed colors flying right above my head. The objects werent exactly shaped like a teardrop but that is the closest description you have. It was shaped like 2 tear drops with the tips touching.

I only saw 2 but there could have been more im not sure. The objects changed from a blueish to a redish then a purpleish color with a haze around them. Im the only person that saw them that i know of.

Ive never done drugs or drank. I smoke cigarettes, and i had only been up for about an hour when i saw this. ((NUFORC Note: Witness elects to remain totally anonymous.

Me and my kids driving home on a dark wooded road about 9. I was driving at least 50 when I saw a big round thing hovering over my car when I tried to look up to see what it was I could only see the bottom with 3 lights in the shape of a triangle. It didn't make a noise I looked back at my kids in the backseat to see if they were awake and the oldest was the only one still awake.

When I looked backed it shot off level with woods and disappeared. We never discussed it with anyone or each other until 5 years later I remembered it. when she' got home from school I asked her if she remembered that night and she did and told me the same story otherwise I would of thought it was a dream!.

Biloxi Ms Sighting At about 5:30P.M. I looked up in the sky and saw what looked to be a sphere/slight cigar shape metallic object very high up almost in space.

I alerted two of my friends that were standing in my yard with me and they saw it also. I ran inside and got my telescope and while i was gone my two friends said they saw it speed up and then come almost to a dead stop.I couldnt focus my telescope in on it because of the bright glare of the sun that it was reflecting but all three of us watched as it slowly went from north to south eventually disappearing below the tree line.
