Viewed craft with hot pink coloration in the south west the craft was similar to the one reported at 21:35 on 11/17/99. It also was seen to blink out after a couple of minuets. My friend, my wife and a physician from the local hospital were looking at the Leonids when we saw a hot pink ball of light above the tree tops to the south west rise up and zig-zag across the sky.
We watched for about a minuet or two and it to blinked out of sight in the middle of the sky like the first sighting earlier that evening. This sighting occurred approximately three hours and some odd minuets after the first sighting which we phoned in. The difference in this sighting is we had more witnesses this time.
The physician has a good knowledge of the stars and was at a loss for words about the sighting. It was almost as if he didn't want to believe what he saw.

Viewed a ball of hot pink light above the treetops. It was moving sporadically up and down and side to side. Then after approx.
2 min. it blinked out. While setting up to view the Leonids Meteor Shower my friend form work ((name deleted)) and I happened to see a bright light to the South West.
The whole object was consumed in this hot pink light. We viewed the hot pink light as it zig-zaged across the sky making sharp patterns and turning back in on itself. It would accelerate up and down as well.
((name deleted)) went to get his binoculars out of the car while I kept an eye on the object. While he was getting the binoculars it just blinked out. While on the phone with Mr.
Davenport we thought we saw what was another UFO in the south east but determined that it was only a star after closer observation. There was no way that the first object we saw was a star or a conventional aircraft. Of that we are both absolutely sure.
Since Mr. Davenport was on the phone when we saw the star we thought it necessary to include it in the report and let him know that we were in error. Having said that we end this report.

Four spherical objects, three traveling in an equilateral triangle formation fourth tailing behind and off to the right I was standing on my grandparents' patio, smoking a cigarette before retiring for the evening. I didn't give much thought to seeing a shooting star, as I have seen many before. Suddenly, some motion in the sky to my left and towards the front of the house caught my eye.
As there is a streetlight there I could not quite see clearly with the artificial light as four sphere shaped objects came into view. Once they were above me I could see them against the background of the clear night sky without the contaminating light from the street. Three of the objects were traveling in a tight, equilateral triangle formation, as the fourth traveled behind and perhaps two to three times the distance between the objects in the triangle formation.
I am an empirical person, and I attempted to explain away to myself these objects as something else, but found that I could not as I watched them until they disappeared over the trees. I can not be sure what the altitude of these objects was, but they seemed to be fairly close to the earth. Due to the fact that they were only visible to me (from horizon to horizon) for about 5-10 seconds, I tend to think that these objects were traveling at a fairly low altitude.
These objects emanated a slightly bluish-white aura, yet also appeared to have a dull, metallic appearance to them that seemed to reflect light coming from the earth rather than emitting any themselves. They did not appear to be all that large. I watched closely to see if there would be any variance in the symmetry of the triangle formation and noticed none, except for the fact that the triangle seemed to "flatten," maintaining the perfect equilateral formation yet appearing the way that it should have relative to my viewpoint.

Formation of 5-7 red steady lights traveling in a SSW direction. About 0130-0230, 11 NOV 99. Observed 5-7 steady red lights in a wedge formation.
While formation was moving across sky, it suddenly changed to a roughly circular formation. Altittude of lights was airliner height or greater. Formation traveled across sky in an estimated 3-5 seconds in a SSW direction.
I was a former Air Force aircrewman on an E-3 Sentry. I currently maintain avionic systems on Navy T-2C Buckeye trainer aircraft. At time of sighting, airfield was closed.

One light disc shaped. Far away. No movement over 5 minutes.
I was leaving work and observed a disc shaped light in the dusk sky to the west. I got in my car and kept watching it. It seemed very far away and was not moving, nor was it the shape of a star.
I watched for a few minutes and was leaving the parking lot when I saw a coworker and pointed it out to him. He said he didn't know what it was. It was slanted like the forward slash on a keyboard (/), yet not as severe a slant.
I watched it for a little over 5 minutes and it never moved, flashed or anything. ((NUFORC Note: Witness does not indicate city where alleged incident occurred. PD)).

bright object moving slowly across sky .Too bright to be airplane and no red or green wing lights I was going west on hwy84 south of Lauel,Ms. I saw a very bright light to my left at 23:13on 10-26-99.
It looked like it was not movingwhen i frist saw it. then i notice that it was moving .thought that it was not a airplane because it was too big .
I stopped and got out to get a better view. I held my left thumb up to see if it covered the object. It was bigger than it so i extended my arm and held up two fingers, then three and it was bigger than them.
So i watched it a couple seconds. It was moving at a steady but slow speed towards Laurel, coming out of the south, I could not see if it had solid form because it was too far from me .Ichecked my speedometer so i could see how far i was from Laurel.
,Ms. when i got there it showed i was 5miles when i stopped. the sky was clear and alot of stars could be seen.
It was oval shaped and no sound.

Object was seen heading north just east of Petal, Ms at appox 1500ft It was the size of a DC-10.It hovered , and moved slowly to the north over the horizon. At 23:12 on 10/26/99 I went outside for some nite air.
To the South, I notice a very bright series of lights that was approaching from the south, northbound.I first thought it was a large jet coming in to Hattiesburg. Then I realized this was something very different.
I called my two sons outside.Ages 25, and 19.We all were stund as the craft stop for a brief hover, then continued to move north toward Laurel (20miles North) As it passed over our house, there was NO sound at all! It made very small quick action heading changes a few times, no more than a few deg's though as it continued north.
Object had a series of white lights in diamond formation pointing down, with one VERY strong strobe type light to the rear. All lights were white. The whole craft look as if trianglar the size of a DC 10.
No noise was detectable, and moved to slowly to keep a conventinal aircraft airborne Although I've been inactive for a longtime, I do hold a Com. Pilots ticket and can tell you this object was very very strange.

saw a shiney object moving from west to east and i was looking north.it had no sound. at 11:30am on monday Oct.
25th-99 my wife and i and the 15mo old neighbors were on our back patio when the baby looked up because he heard a airplane he was looking south and the sun was in his eyes so he couldn't see so i picked him up and turned around so that when the jet (small like a comuter type)passed us he could see it because the sun would be to our back .when the jet got into view i saw a shiny object going west to east in the path that the jet would cross but it was much higher than the jet . I told my wife to look at the object and she did.
I put the baby down and went to get my binoculars which is a 7x35 extra wide Switf sportking.I looked at the object and it was disc or round i couldn't see because i wasn't holding the binoculars steady., so i braced them against a pole and i could see that the object looked like it was changeing shape to a triangle type then it went behind trees.
The sky was very blue and clear.

large object seemed to be hovering over the trees. I saw a large object in the clear sky On the night of Oct 2 1999. it was round and so bright that it looked to be about 4-5 times larger than the satalite it was beside.
it stayed in place for about 2 min's. all at once the light went out and there were four red lights, and it went straight up and was gone in less than 1 second.

I was watching the sky when over head I saw a Black spherical object pass over. I was sitting in the parking lot waiting for my mother and wife to come out of the store. The seat was laid back so I could relax and look at the sky at the clouds moving.
They were moving back and forth changing directions a lot. While I watched a BLACK sphere passed over head. I could see no wings and there were no markings that were visible.
No con trail could be see either. After watching it for about 6-10 seconds it disappeared in the cloud bank I had been watching. I am used to seeing plenty of air craft in my area but this is something I have never seen before.
So I thought of you guys.

slow moving bright sphere, traveling due North. Object was followed shortly after by a dim red, much smaller object, traveling much faster, on almost the same course. At 05:40, 7 sept 99, my attention was drawn upwards towards the sky by bright lights that illuminated the ground.
The object was traveling due north. It was very bright (reminded me of a night shuttle launch), for several seconds, dimmed for 1 or 2 seconds and returned to it's original brightness. It dimmed out shortly after that.
The object was about the diameter of a pencil, held at arms length. The length of sighting spanned 20 - 25 degrees of sky. I've seen space debris reentering -- this was moving slower than those and much slower than meteors.
A few seconds after it disappeared, a single light crossed the sky, almost on the exact same path (5 degrees off), verred east and back onto it's original course. The second object was a dull red color. It was about the size of a pencil lead held at arms length.
The object maintained its color and illuminosity for the duration of the sighting. The 2nd object crossed the sky from horizon to horizon, as if chasing the 1st object. The Gulfport Police Dispatcher reported several citizens called it in also.

AS WE WERE TRAVELING FROM SC TO TEXAS I AM NOT EVEN SURE OF THE STATE. IT WAS LATE AT NIGHT AND WE SAW A VERY LARGE ORANGE LIGHT, MOVING VERY FAST. IT WAS GOING FROM SOUTH TO NORTH I AM SURE.
IT WAS AS LARGE (OR LARGER!) AS THE AIR PLANES MUST HAVE BEEN WHICH CARRIED THOSE TINY AIR PLANE LIGHTS ALSO IN THE SKY AS WE DROVE THAT NIGHT. I THINK IT WAS VERY HIGH. IT MOVED AS IF IT OWNED THE SKY, SO ASSURED AND FAST.
((NUFORC Note: Witness elects to remain totally anonymous. Date of incident is approximate. PD)).

My wife was walking to the driveway to leave and called me outside. We spotted a large blinking white light moving in a zig-zap pattern. Approximately 9:00 P.
M. Monday, March 22, 1999 my wife was leaving to pick up our daughter. When she got outside she called me to come outside as fast as I could.
She pointed out a large white blinking object moving from west to east. The said that it had moved from side to side very quickly. I ran inside to retreive a pair of binoculars and spotted it again.
I did observe it to dash to the south faster than any aircraft that I had ever seen. Then it zipped towards the northeast before continuing it's west to east heading.

The night before the comet, at first that's what I thought it was. It originally appeared as a "ball of fire" in the sky. Then two more showed up.
I went in to get my camera (unfortunately a cheap one), and when I got back outside, they started moving around and changing both color and it appeared that they changed shape. I am ex-military, Aviation, these were NOT planes, choppers, or balloons of any kind. They moved in ways and at speeds that our (as in made on this planet) aircraft are simply not capable of doing.
The next night my husband to a picture of what looks like the moon, except it was BEHIND him! The pictures are being sent with this report. They appeared as (in the following order) a very large ball of fire, a bright light not unlike a very bright star, then as dark gray. They moved at incredible speeds in several different directions, then would come to a complete halt instantly.
The one my husband got a picture of changed colors from white to yellow to blue to red and back to white . then it disappeared.
