Mississippi UFO Sightings in 1994

I was caught in the light I was in a patially inclosed tree stand in the corner of a large field. I normally got their about 3 am and waited for daylight. I was turned around looking behind me and when I turned back around I seen lights.

Just like light beams under water, the beams were very concentrated and defined. The beams were white. Once a beam came out it stayed on and didn't move.

It started up and to the left of me. One beam after another came on and the row of lights came down at an angle. After a few seconds I was shined by one of the beams.

Their was no sound. I held my hand up to block the light and all of a sudden all of the lights turned red at the same time. I was shined by the red lights for what felt like 10-20 seconds.

Then, all at once, all the lights turned off. Up in the middle of the sky I seen 2 humps that I thought was one object. It sat their without moving for about a minute, it glowed white and had no sound.

All of a sudden, one side/hump/object, in a swift! , smooth, steady, deliberate speed from beginning to end, went streight down until I couldn't see it anymore. The other object remained motionless for about another minute. Then the second object did the same streight up until I couldn't see it anymore.

The event was followed by some sounds of animals fighting in the woods where the first craft went down. I never seen them again. At daybreak I ran for it.

I tried to rationalize it as game wardens or drug hunters that seen my heat signal, but I don't believe any of that. There was no blinking lights, they glowed white, no sound, to close together, and movement was to smooth (no speeding up or slowing down, just swift, one speed movement), they didn't fly across the sky (streight up, streight down until out if sight and within seconds). My sky view was massive.

I was in the corner of a field to my left and a valley with cleared tember to my right. I have always wondered. ((NUFORC Note: Witness indicates that the date is approximate.

orange molten-metal, crescent-shaped object paralleling car for 15 - 20 minutes My daughter and I were heading home from work and school and we noticed a bright orange cresent-shaped object low in the sky, but above tree level. We watched it as it paralled us for 15 - 20 minutes. It resembled molten metal and seemed at times to drip fire.

It would dip down below the trees, but then it would reappear within seconds. I first thought it must be someone in a hanglider, and I looked hard for the tell-tale sign of someone underneath the orange object that was shaped somewhat like a sail. I thought the bright orange color must be a reflectiton of the sun, which was getting lower in the sky, but the object wasn't just the color of fire.

It looked like it was fire, only with a shape. I had thought about stopping the car, but my daughter, not yet 10-years old, was afraid and urged me not to stop. However, I did drive very slowly and couldn't stop myself from looking at the odd object.

After we crossed the river, the highway veered slightly to the right and went up a hill. It was at this area that the object stopped paralleling us and appeared directly in front of us over the road. I had been puzzled and amazed before, but now I was afraid.

I checked behind me and saw no one, so I stopped my car in the middle of the highway Then something happened I will never forget. The crescent shaped object turned in on itself and disappeared for a fraction of a second. When it reappeared, the crescent was facing the opposite side.

It had been facing to the right, now it faced the left. Then it moved from over the highway back to the left side of the highway. It was now in front of us to the left.

I moved my foot from the brake, and started the car again. The shape dipped down below the trees and then went back up. Then it dipped down again and stayed down.

We looked behind us, but never say the object again. We will never forget it. It was so strange.

I saw a powerful multi-colored fan of laser-like light emanate from deep in a swamp while I was travelling by car, heading west on I-10 at night thru Mississippi. I appeared, then disappeared suddenly. My thirteen year old son and I were travelling west on I-10 in April of 1994 en route to Los Angeles.

At about 9:00 PM, or so, as we were passing thru the state of Mississippi (Pascagoula was the last sign I noted before the incident)we saw to the south and about two miles away, deep in thick swampland a huge prism of multi-colored and very brilliant light appear. It fanned out from a zero point at ground level and spread out with distance. The light did not diffuse or dim over distance.

For the short time we saw it,(about two seconds)it seemed to stretch to infinity in the night sky. One other detail is that the angle changed and tilted upward slightly as we observed it. It was without doubt, the most brilliant light I've ever seen.

I could also tell that this beam was a flat projection. The last detail worth noting is that my son and I both experienced severe panic following the sighting. I accelerated the car to very high speed until we came to the next brightly lit city (I think it was Baton Rouge, La.

).

They could have been traveling by power from magnetic fields, they appeared to slip through the sky. These disk were sighted as I turned off Highway 25 South on to the Craig Spring Road, South of Starkville, Mississippi. The Moon was very bright and just before making my right turn I glanced up and there they were.

They looked to be approximately 20 feet in diameter, shaped like a disk, they looked silver in color,I didn't see any lights on these things, they were traveling West. They seemed to be about100 yards apart, one was leading the way and the other one was following. As I traveled West on the Craig Spring Road, they were traveling West on the South side of the Craig Springs Road.

After watching them for approximately 4 minutes they had gotten far away and looked the size of a half dollar. With the bright Moon and the silver color of these things they had a kind of glow and could be seen easily. ((NUFORC Note: Date is approximate.
