Mysterious lights seen flying over my country home. Around 6 p.m.
, my wife told me that she saw what looked like a flashlight or something through one of the windows in our living room. I asked my son who was seventeen at the time to walk outside and check it out. Within seconds of him going outside onto the front porch, he screamed out for me to get out there fast.
I jumped up and ran outside and he pointed towards the sky. I looked up and to the left of the house at the tree line, i saw two very bright lights hovering above the trees. They made no sound whatsoever and had no color to them at all.
They were just very bright balls of light. They made no sound whatsoever. After a few minutes of watching them, one of the lights began moving toward the house at a slow pace and within a matter of seconds, the second light began to follow.
At this point, i called my wife out to see what was going on. We all stood there on the front porch watching these lights pass directly over the house and slowly move towards th! e tree line on the opposite side of the property. As the lights came close to the tree line on the other side of the property, the just seemed to blink out.
We never saw them again. My son had attempted to record the lights on his cell phone. During the recording, we could see the lights plain as day on the screen of his phone, but when we played the video once the lights had disappeared, there was absolutely nothing there in the recording.

Strange light seen in Biloxi, MS. At about 6:00 p.m.
I arrived home. It was dark out and I happened to look up. I saw a large white light, larger than a star or visible planets.
It seemed to zig zag at high speed and then stop. It did this for a few minutes, darting back and forth. I noticed the color change from white to a golden yellow.
It then became bright red. As it changed to red, it was stationary but also appeared to get smaller. It vanished right in front of my eyes.
I thought that I was going crazy and told my fiance who was at work. He called me later and told me that I wasn't going crazy. One of his co workers was asking if anyone saw the strange light and described the same thing that I had seen.

11/01/09 Noon(ish) Louin, Ms. 3 or 4 seconds at the most. Brown sphere or disc with 7 evenly-spaced yellow of gold spots.
It was a perfectly clear day, sometime around noon. I was outside working in my front yard when I stood up and movement caught my eye. My first thought was that I was seeing a hawk diving towards its prey, but as I focused on the object, I knew it was nothing of the sort.
I can't be absolutely sure if it was a disc or sphere, but if I had to guess I would go with sphere. It was traveling from the NW to the SE, a few degrees North from directly overhead as it passed over. It was brown, the color of an old penny, with seven evenly-spaced yellow or gold spots.
I have described it to others as kind of looking like a soccer ball. Hold a pencil at arm's length looking at the end and that's approximately how big it appeared, maybe 1/4 the size of a full moon. There was no smoke or vapor trail and no sound or sonic boom.
When I first caught sight of it, it was about half way between the horizon and overhead and I watched it until it faded into the distance like a high-altitude jet. It traversed over 90 degrees of the sky in just a few seconds, almost as fast as a meteorite. After it was gone I stood there in my yard for a couple of minutes trying to make sense of what I had just seen, then called my sister to tell her about it.
I was still just a tad excited. I reported it to MUFON within a few days and looked to see if there were any other sightings for similar objects on the same day, but came up empty.

Triangular object with 3 lights, one in middle blinking. Me and my daughter were driving home, both in separate vehicles. It was 10:30 at night in rural Northeast MS.
My daughter was ahead of me in her car she saw the lights first then as I came up on them I almost ran off the road trying to see what the object was. We both saw a line of lights with one in the middle blinking, it was hovering above the ground just taller than the power lines. The closer we got the more triangular shaped the object seemed.
My daughter then called my cell phone to see if I was seeing what she was seeing. By this time I had drove past the object but could still see it in my rear view mirror. I decided to turn around and go back to get a better look when I got back to the spot, the object was gone.
Nothing flying off in the distance, no trees blowing around from it, no noise, nothing. When I had first saw it flashing in the distance I was thinking when did we get a cell tower there but as I got closer I realized it wasn’t attac! hed to anything. It was just hovering above the power lines and then it was gone.
I don’t know what it was and I am not saying it was alien in origin but it was definitely unknown to us what it was. Also in the mid nineties me and my sister where driving from our parents house to my house and as we crossed over a railroad track a glowing green orb dropped down out of the sky, hovered for a second in front of us and then flew off. We looked at each other in disbelief then drove on home.
Of course when you tell people these things they look at you like you are crazy. This I do know: first I am a Christian who believes the bible is the true inspired Word of God and it is infallible, second that I don’t believe in little green men and aliens that are visiting us and checking out how we live on earth, and third that I’m not crazy I did see something I could not identify Twice!!!!.

Saw odd shaped object in sky in daylight. While arriving to work, I noticed somthing strange in the sky. It was dark in color.
I could see it plainly against a cloud in the background. It was a tall looking object with something sticking out of the side of it. It did not look very aerodynamic.
I went into the locker room and changed clothes. When I exited the locker room I noticed it was much closer than before. I walked about 100 yards to the shop I work in.
By this time it was flying over the shop. I grabbed one of my co-workers and showed it to him. At the same time another co-worker rode up in his work truck and asked me "What was that?" By this time it was almost out of sight.
There is an air force base in the direction it was headed. It was very strange to all of us. We thought it might have been something from the base, but at the same time it was so strange it makes me think otherwise.

Stationary orange lights appear then fade away after a few seconds off MS Gulf Coast. My husband and I were returning home after dining out in Bay St. Louis, MS, on the evening of Tuesday, September 15, 2009.
It was around 9:00 PM and as we headed east onto the Bay St. Louis Bridge, a bright orange light abruptly appeared in the sky to the southeast. As I tilted my head to look out the passenger-side window to get a better look at the light, it just slowly faded away.
There was no movement. The object was stationary from the time it lit up until the light completely faded out after only a few seconds. I turned to my husband and he asked me if I had seen it.
Since we had both seen this object, he started looking for a place to pull over on the beach. Before he could find a place to stop, I saw another orange light that did exactly the same thing as the first – light up and slowly fade with no movement. This object, however, was more to the southwest.
We pulled over at a point where there were a couple of benches on the sea wall and decided to sit and watch the sky over the Gulf of Mexico for any more lights. Before we had time to get settled, another one appeared to the southeast. A short time later, there was another to the southwest.
Then, three lights appeared almost simultaneously--one, two, and three. They faded out in the same order. We saw one or two more lights, and my husband remembered that we had our night vision monocular in the truck.
He saw the last orange light with the night vision and saw that when the light went off, there was still something there that we could not see without the night vision. For about 15 minutes, we watched a number of small spheres travel back and forth in the areas where we had seen the orange lights. One of the spheres appeared to pulsate, but the others were just faint solid objects.
We saw no more orange lights during this time. As we watched the spheres, they suddenly disappeared. There was no moon that night, but it was clear with lots of stars.
The objects were very close to shore – between the shrimp boats on the horizon and the beach. They were also not very high above the water. The entire event occurred over a period of 45 minutes to an hour.
We plan to go back with our high-powered binoculars on my husband’s next nights off and see if we can find anything else.

"Satellite" stops, flases and disappears I got up at 4:09, (yes, I hit the snooze button once), to see the meteor shower. After going out to see if the sky was clear I woke my wife, put the coffee on and went out. There was a particulary bright planet low in the western sky so I went in to get my binoculars.
After a look at the planet, I was looking up at the sky and saw what I thought was a satellite moving northward directly overhead. It was as bright and as big as the brighter stars and moving slowly. "Cool" I thought and brought my glasses up to my eyes to get a better look.
As I watched it in the binoculars, it stopped, flashed twice as bright and disappeared.

A brilliant starburst light in the night sky which moved away from the three witnesses at an unbelievable speed. While watching for airplanes and shooting stars, two friends and I witnessed an extremely bright light appear above us and move across a portion of the sky. This object was moving faster than an aircraft but not as fast as a shooting star.
One of the witnesses had time to look out of a vehicle window when the other two individuals shouted "look at that!" This object was larger and brighter than any star or planet I have ever seen. The moon is the only thing which ever appears in the night sky which is brighter than this object. It was a single, brilliant white light with a starburst appearance.
There were no sounds or blinking lights associated with this object. The most disturbing thing about this object was how it went away. The light faded to black.
It appeared to fade down to nothing just like someone had turned down a dimmer switch or if this object had moved away from us at an unbelievable speed. I have observed many meteor showers and aircraft over the years and have never seen anything remotely as strange and disturbing as this object.

Circular florescent pulsating light. My wife and I were traveling to visit relatives in Mississippi on July 17th . At approximately 11:00 PM we observer a strobe like light ahead of us .
We drove approximately 4 or 5 miles with the light in sight. At this point we could see the pulsating light to our left over a field adjacent to the highway. My wife was able to look out the side window of the auto and see a circular object that was emitting a florescent like light (white).
There was no sound associated with this sighting. We were able to observe the object through the rear view mirrors after we passed the object.

White rectangular craft seen by myself, my mother and son, floating across sky. My mother, my son, and myself watched from the river as a rectangular shaped object floated across the sky in a westward direction. It was white.
My nephew, a ufo buff, later that evening pulled up a YouTube video and showed where identical crafts were spotted that same week, one in China and the other in Montana. After that night, there were numerous other sightings by myself and photos taken over a school there by our home. One other sighting was of the same craft we saw in July earlier.
((NUFORC Note: Witness indicates that the date of the sighting is approximate. PD)).

Disc Shape Hovering in Southaven MS One object that appeared black at first hovered above a neighborhood. It was too low to be a plane but too high to be a remote control object. It floated in one place for about 3-4 minutes.
We went home and got a camera and it was floating in the same area. It then started traveling north. We tracked along side it at approx 30 mph till it took a west turn.
It again staid hovering and we were able to snap three pictures. As I took the pictures my camera did something strange and had an orbital glow in the lcd screen before the picture snapped. It was also slow to respond.
This is not normal for the camera operation and I wasn't using a flash. We followed around for a few minutes more as it tracked northwest across our neighborhood. We tried to turn around and get a better spot to caputre video.
As we turned around it disappeared. We drove a 1 mile square area looking for it but it was gone. The weather was perfect.
Very few clouds all which were high.

Stealthy rectangular object seen over Hernando, MS After finishing a late-night run, my girlfriend and I stopped to lie down on the track. While pointing out constellations we recognized, she motioned toward an object that momentarily obscured some of the stars from her view. I stood and watched the object after it passed overhead and noticed that it was rectangular, dark colored, emitted no illumination, very fast, and completely silent.
It was difficult to determine its altitude, but seemed very low compared to surrounding commercial air traffic. No other aircraft seemed to be following it. The event lasted thirty seconds at the most, and the object moved in a linear path due North/Northwest.
This event occurred in Hernando, Mississippi above a running track used by local schools. My girlfriend and I are young (in our twenties) and pretty well educated. I work as a chef in a nearby restaurant, and she is a reservist in the U.
S. Air Force. She claims that the object displayed no characteristics of any aircraft she is familiar with.
