Cattle Mutilation - December 2009 This is one of two bull mutilation incidences in Jewell county. The other was reported in early November 2009. A copy of that article has also been submitted to NUFORC.

Superior Nebraska Express Newspaper Article Dated December 31, 2009: ((BEGIN TEXT OF ARTICLE)) Another dead bull found; appears to have been mutilated Another bull which may have been killed and mutilated has been found in Jewell County. A few weeks ago a similar incident was reported to the Jewell County Sheriff’s office. According to Sheriff Dave Fullerton, the cause of the recent bull’s death has not been determined.

The animal was found and reported to the sheriff’s office last Tuesday by Jim Harris. The bull was owned by Mike Harris but running in Jim Harris’ pasture. It was found in a remote low area of a pasture located on 140 Road about one-third mile north of V Road.

The bull was last seen by Jim Harris the prior Thursday afternoon so the time of death has been placed between that afternoon and its discovery the following Tuesday. According to Fullerton, the bull had one ear and other body parts cut off. Since the bull was lying on its right side, the sheriff could not see if the other ear of the right eye had been cut.

He observed, "There was blood around the eye, on the left side and indications that it was partly cut, in an attempt to remove it as had been done in the other bull mutilation." Fullerton said the person or person’s responsible, did not finish cutting out the tongue, eye or eyes, as had been done in the other mutilation. He noted, "Something may have interrupted whoever is responsible and caused them to leave the scene before they completed the act.

" Fullerton checked for tracks in the snow but could only find cow tracks. The bull thought to be mutilated a month ago was found in a pasture north of Burr Oak. That animal belonged to William Wilson, Burr Oak.

Both bulls were black in color. Object seen over Kansas City during morning commute. Vanished 10 seconds after spotting it. Third time phenomenon observed.

Saw a definite solid object in the sky just to the west of I-35 near 95th street. It was far enough away that I couldn't distinguish any shape or features- just kinda looked like a shiny white object. I ruled out the possibility that this was a bird and it wasn't any sort of reflection on the windshield of my car.

This was definitely some type of aerial object that was VERY visible and just suddenly vanished after 10 seconds from when I first spotted it. While watching the object, it "blinked" a couple times- like if you had a dimmer switch on a light bulb and dimmed the lights partially for half a second and then turned it back up. This was the third occasion in the last couple months I have seen this phenomenon.

All three incidents occurred in the Kansas City area during my commute to work in the morning (different locations each time though). Each time the object was very visible for about 10 seconds and then just vanished- didn't fly away, just quickly faded like a light going out.

Several constant beams of light spread out across the sky Walked outside to see several constant beams of whitish lights shooting up into the sky. The beams grew and fell off in intensity, all while maintaining their locations. Some beams were grouped in fours, others in two's, and were spread out in front of me as in a line.

However the beams were not all on the same line but had some depth to them. It was like they came from a promotional spot light but were too many in number and covered an area far too great to be spot lights. Also the lights were to my north and north east with nothing really out that way but country and small towns if anything.

No clue what they could've been or seen anything like it before.

UFO over Leavenworth, ks I was driving along a country road where I could see the hole town. While driving I could see a big flash appear over the town and noticed that it came from a circular sphere like object that was changing colors and had a aura. The ufo went from a white ish color to a red/orange color and became brighter then disappeared or folded as I call it.

This happened all under a minute.

We seen lights that look like stars moving around in different directions and a round thing with lights shinning out landed, have pictures of landing spot. the heater stopped working and when the truck was off the clock flashed on very bright, to much to list. 3 UFO's Sighted in Larned, KS flying southwest to northeast - went from 1 side of the sky to the next in approximately 5-7 seconds At approximately 21:15, in the sky above Larned, KS, three unidentified flying objects were identified by this writer and her husband. At the time of the sighting, my husband and I were outside just gazing at the sky and talking. He asked me, "Did you just see those three lights.

" I said, "Yes, I am watching them right now." We continued to watch. Afterwards we notified several family members who were reluctant to believe our experience.

Here is our description of the event: These objects were flying southwest to northeast and took approximately 5-7 seconds to fly from one side of the sky to the next. The speed they flew appeared to be much faster than that of an airplane or other type of air craft. The objects were all circular, bright lights, but were dimmer than stars.

They looked approximately 4 or 5 times the size that your average star appears to look in the sky. We did not hear a sound when we saw them flying in the sky, like you would from any type of aircraft. They first flew in a formation.

The middle UFO then flew slightly ahead of the others, and at times the other two would also briefly get out of formation. When they shifted out of formation, it appeared quick and had a slight bounce to them. They were very fast and flew slightly lower and higher in the sky, but all stayed near each other the entire time.

The path they took was not a straight line like you would see a falling star or an airplane do. After heading northeast! , they quickly dimmed and simply disappeared. I have never seen anything like this before and hope that others saw they same thing that we did.

The incident happened so quickly, there was no way that I would have been able to record or taken a picture of the event, but wish that I could have.

It was a little after 3am, maybe 3:05am Nov.13th, 09. My wife is a nurse at a hospital in Wichita,KS about 40miles north of where we live.

She arrived home as normal at 3am. She woke me up, and told me there was a plane with abnormal lights hovering above the house. I was skeptical, but woke up anyways.

I went outside, and what I witnessed is a large "object" with three orange fire like lights in a triangle like position. The object was in my opinion the size of a medium sized house. I realized it was not an airplane nor helicoptor when it did not emit any sort of sound and just "hovered" silently.

I live out in the country so I have no close neighbors so I was pretty frantic, so I called the police. While I was on the phone with the 911 operator, the object I don't know how to describe it but the object shot into the sky like a slingshot leaving a orange glow for a few seconds. When the police arrived I made a report and that's all, the officer said it was probably a meteor but it was not a meteor.

I am a well respected dentist and my wife is a well respected nurse, and we are not the kind to make up such foolish things. I found this site and maybe by writing this somebody can tell me what this was… ((NUFORC Note: I hope someone will inform the Harper Police Department that meteors do not hover, or hang around, for 5 minutes. They are visible because they pass through the atmosphere at 8-50 miles per second.

Cattle Mutilation, November 2009. (One of two incidences) Superior Nebraska Express Newspaper Article Dated Nov 12, 2009. This is one of two bull mutilation incidences in Jewell county.

The second was reported in early December 2009. A copy of that article has also been submitted to NUFORC. TITLE: Bull Mutilated in Burr Oak Pasture The Jewell County Sheriff’s Department has received a report of a bull being killed and mutilated in a pasture north of Burr Oak.

Owners of the bull are Bill and Linda Wilson, Burr Oak. The bull was found by the Wilsons on Sunday. When the bull was found the animal’s ears, eyes and tongue were among the body parts apparently removed.

Blood was not found around or on the carcass. The carcass was examined by a veterinarian and a full investigation begun. The killing may have been part of a cult related ritual, but this has not been proven.

The sheriff’s department learned two days prior to this incident in Jewell County a similar incident was reported near Colorado Springs. The Wilson’s bull was in a gated pasture with other cows and calves but none of the animals were killed. The pasture is located in Walnut Township, about one-half mile west of the Union Cemetery.

Two Dark Heagon shape crafts slowly decend out of clouds from west and turn north 500 Lights On Object0: Yes In the fall of 2009, I was sitting on my best friend back deck, when he pointed up and said “what the hell is that?” As I looked up, a second object faded into view just to the right of the first object – the sky was overcast with a ceiling of about 4000 feet. At first we thought it was two parachutes or parasails because of the odd end-on view we had. As they got closer, we could see all the detail – black hexagons with a section missing from the leading edge.

At one point they were about 2000 feet overhead and turning towards the north. I could hear and see other small planes in the area going to the local airport south of the area. These things made absolutely no sound, were at least 75 feet in diameter, and maybe moving only 25mph.

We both sketch out what we saw independently and then compared to make sure we both saw the same thing. We did. I just took my drawing and built it in Google Sketch.

I grew up an Air-Force brat, I’ve been an amateur astronomer all my life, I’ve seen things most people would mistake for a UFO. These were really Unidentified Flying Objects. The reason I am reporting this now, is there was an article in the KC Star two weeks ago about the increase in UFO sighting in the KC area.

I too have seen something - extraordinary. I hope it’s “OURS”. It would explain why “they’ve” cancelled the Shuttle Program – we don’t need it.

Boomarang shaped faint and big and fast no sound. We came home got out of the car and I looked up like I always do, I'm a ameture astronmer. It was dark and clear looking from zenith south about 20 degrees something that was faint and moving caught my eye.

I got the rest of my family to look.What we saw was faint but had lights was big. Was boomarang shaped, Lights did not flash or change color.

This moved south and was fast.

Object appeared as I would imagine a flying Chinese lantern would look like (I've never seen one!). My wife and I (ages 46 and 54 at the time) had just dropped our college sophomore daughter off at her apartment (18th and Kentucky Streets) after taking her to dinner, and before we pulled out of the parking lot, we saw a strange glowing ball of light low in the northern sky and moving South in our direction. At first I thought it was coming from a power line following the same direction, but quickly realized it was not, and it was so unusual (I am an Aerospace Engineer and multi-engine rated Private pilot) that I had to pull over to watch it.

We both observed it for several minutes as it appeared to continually/slowly move South and increase in altitude. When it was approximately overhead, it appeared to quit moving laterally but continued to rise until it was out of site. We did not hear any sounds emanating from it and saw no other aircraft in the area.

I contacted the nearest airport's (North of the sighting area) manager the next day to ask if he knew of any aircraft departing the previous evening or of anyone launching a Chinese lantern from the airport area; he didn't. I also Googled to see if I could find anyone reporting what I saw; I found nothing. So, I laid it to rest, but was so mystified that I entered the date in my PC's calendar, so when I just discovered this website, I was able to check out reports for that date.

Sadly, there were none similar or in the area on that same date.

Satellite that apparently was something else. I saw a light very high that appeared to be a satellite moving across Ursa major constellation, it was moving west to east. I continued tracking it moving east, then it took a 90 degree turn hard to the south, picked up speed and disappeared.

Twelve red lights in sky went from circle to V shape formation and went south to north in a matter of seconds. My wife and I were standing outside smoking a cigarette on our porch looking south and seen approximately twelve solid red lights that went from south all the way north in a matter of seconds it was too fast to even get a camera. They started out in a circle and ended up changing into a V shape.

By the time I got downstairs to go look on the other side of the building they were completely gone. By far the weirdest thing I have seen. If anyone has any suggestions what this may be please let me know.

White fireball looked like meteor but then changed directions. I was alone, traveling southwest on I-35, about 15 minutes northeast of Wichita. This was probably around mile marker 65 on I-35, but at the time I didn’t think to check my exact location.

Around 8:40 pm, a light was visible out the front window of my car, but toward the right side. I’d estimate it was approximately 30 degrees right of straight ahead. This means it was probably approximately straight west of my location.

The sky was dark. I saw a white fireball descending diagonally as it moved from right to left. It looked to me like what I would expect a meteor to look like, and initially it moved in a straight line.

It produced a white light and had a tail of “sparks” behind it as it moved, like a comet. It looked something like certain kinds of fireworks I have seen that carry a flare and trail sparks behind. From time to time, it appeared that a burning chunk would break off and fall behind into the tail because the main light would flare up a! little bit and a brighter portion would then be visible moving into the tail portion.

So far, it appeared to me to be a meteor. However, after it descended traveling from right to left, it leveled off and proceeded to the left while climbing again. Once it had climbed again, it appeared to stop in the air for a while before moving down and to the right.

It moved around several times, remaining visible for what was probably 2-3 minutes. Finally it rose up, stopped trailing its tail, and became small and indistinguishable from a star in both size and color. It was then obscured by some trees I drove past and I wasn’t able to determine if it was still there after that.

I didn’t see it move again.

2 objects in close proximity high enought to reflect sun light travelling north then did a large 180 headed back south observed 3-4 min My father, mother and I observed two objects in relitively close proximty to the naked eye that looked like satellites travel due north. I say the looked like satellites because they looked just like one at night only these objects we close to each other one behind the other and ive never observed two satellites travelling the same direction, same speed, so close to ach other. I know these were not aircraft because the light that was given off was not of a strobe or landing light nature.

More of when light reflects off of metal and this makes since because the sun had set only an hour before so you only have to go so high before you reflect the suns light. What makes this case interesting is after a minute of observing these two objects travelling north the began to change direction and over the course of about 30 secs went from travelling due north to due south. About 15 secs before we lost sight my father and I both saw one of the objects split SE while the other object continued south.

Dont really care if this is credible or not i know what we saw. No way it was a satellite because of the course change that was made by both objects and I know they were not aircraft because there was no strobe light and without that you cant see an aircraft at night with no moon:) 3rd sighting in 3 yrs for me here in SC KS and the 2nd for my father in 2 yrs. Many of the locals here have observed similar or different cases.

Might not be a bad idea to check the area out if this website hasnt already. I myself am 28 yrs old and my parents well in their 50's this is not a prank/joke. Took the time to write this because I think you should know.

Orange lights in the middle of the country. We were driving home and the two of us in the car saw it at the same time. It looked really far away and looked square.

It's hard to describe, almost dark orange color. The square would decrease in size but stay a square and then appear in the sky father to one direction, upon reappearing it would do the opposite of disappearing, it would go from small to large. It did this about 7-9 times and that was it.

I photograph light balls and objects in sky every night and increasing lately. I have been taking pictures of sunsets every night and I keep finding that I have unexplained objects in the sky in my pictures. I have hundreds now with red, blue, green, yellow, orange, grey, really all colors of light balls in then and in many different shapes.

Some of them appear like an orb but they all seem to have a black hole in them. Some then are single, some grouped in 2 or more. On some of the objects you can see a precise ring of lights.

There is no question looking at my pictures what I am getting in the sky every night. Last night I started seeing them as the flash went off. They were in my face and all around me.

They seem to come out in thunderstorms, like they like the weather. ((NUFORC Note: Probably celestial bodies, we suspect. PD)).

Three craft with bright red rectangular lights in body and a large floodlight in front hovering above Kansas highway. Three identical objects the size of a large jet fighter. Each were brightly lit with a large bright red rectangluar display in the body of the teardrop/triangular shaped craft.

Each of the three craft had 1 giant floodlight near the front center of the craft. (From a distance, all you could see were three bright glowing red rectangles with a floodlight in front. They hovered approx.

300 ft above the highway in a uniformly crosswise fashion. Very scary. As I approached within a thousand ft.

of them they turned their floodlights off, and raced to the west at an unbelieveable speed and disappeared. I will be monitoring the Wichita Eagle newspaper for any possible missing persons report. This is all I want to say now.

Glowing sphere moving north to south changing light intensity stopped and sat there. I was on the phone and happened to glance up and saw a brightly glowing sphere moving faster than a plane from north to south across the eastern sky, it dimmed to half light and slowed down about 10 seconds in and stopped about 2 inches above another star and glowed the same brightness as the star and sat there until about 00:05 until I was tired and could'nt wait anymore and came inside to report it.
