Have you there been any reports from mississippi if not there should be? Ok then not using spell check because this will probly not be read. Starting december 5th I whittnessed rockets being lounched from a country town in mississippi i recorded some of them on my phone. There has been an abnormal amount of aIR traffic in myu aera ever since .

also strange lights in the sky like rainbows. a few days after the rockets started firing i started seeing little shiny things with no contrails when i ask people what they think they don't even want to look they just blow it off they don't say i'm crazy or nothing they say they don't even want to know what is going on its strange there has been no news reports or anything about the strange skys i went to jackson mississippi and i saw no air flights leaving or coming i was maybe a mile away for the air port? strange things are going on i have photos there not good ones i will try and get a better camra ((NUFORC Note: Witness indicates that the date of the sighting is approximate. Bright light during the late afternoon initially stationary, moves, then disappears, reappears a few minutes later. First Sighting I was driving my 18 wheeler through Mississippi today, I was about 25 miles west of Meridian heading West on interstate 20, the sun was going down and had just dipped below the horizon, so it was still pretty much daylight. The sky was clear with just a few small wispy clouds.

Looking through my windshield I noticed a bright light in the sky in front but slightly to the left, I pointed it out to my 12 year old son who was sitting in the passenger seat, saying to him “look at that star” and that it seemed unusual to see a star in daylight, not knowing too much about astronomy , I added that it was perhaps Venus which is why we can see it because I couldn’t see any other stars as I looked around the rest of the sky. As we looked at what by now I was convinced was Venus, a small wispy cloud moved across but the light was not obscured by the cloud, the cloud passed and the bright light was again in a cloudless part of the sky, a few seconds later I remarked to my son that the br! ight light appeared to be moving a little more to the left and also appeared to growing slightly dimmer, then it became quite obvious it was moving as it picked up speed very quickly moving upwards at a roughly 45 degree angle, it completely disappeared within a few seconds over the south western sky. All in all we had watched this thing for about 5-6 minutes, I noted the time that it disappeared, it was 4.

55 pm central time. Second Sighting My wife was also traveling in the truck but was in the sleeper listening to an audio book, I had considered disturbing her to look at the bright light when I first noticed it, but thinking I would be disturbing her for something as unremarkable as an ‘ early’ star or Venus I didn’t bother, it was only when my son and I realized that this thing was moving off at a high rate of speed that I finally called her, just too late for her see anything, in fact when I told her what we had just seen, I thought she might think we were imagining or exaggerating it. For approximately the next 10 minutes my Son and I discussed what we had seen with my wife, telling her several times that I had wished I had disturbed her so she could have seen it too.

Then to my astonishment the light suddenly appeared again, this time all three of us watched it, but it only stayed stationary for about a minute, then started moving again, except this time it moved in the opposite direction ( south west to! south east) and in less than 10 seconds faded out of sight completely, it was almost as if someone turned out the light with a ‘dimmer’ switch! The only difference this time was that it didn’t look exactly the same kind of light a star at night has, this time it had a reddish hue to it, we think that this time because of the change in direction it may have been reflecting the sun, despite the sun being quite a way below the horizon by now. I ought to add that I’m sure the object was very high in the sky, I don’t believe it was a plane because all the planes were leaving long contrails. Also, planes don’t really move that way.

No flashing airplane lights either.

WOW My family and I were taking a drive to Walmart late at night when my daughter spotted that there was a bright sphere in the sky, we all looked up and saw that she was not kidding. My husband stopped on the side of the road and the sphere was in the sky for about 1-2 minutes, we tried to follow it in our car but as we proceeded to, we could not catch up. the aircraft quickly vanished out of sight.

A Shooting star that Turned into a Moving Light A friend and I was laying on a Sand Bar Fishing looking at the Stars as I usually do, Face Straight up to the sky and I see, what looked like a shooting star, and I turned to my Friend and said look at that, He didn’t see it come into the Atmosphere but he seen it before I said look at that. The object came into the Atmosphere moving to the West with the speed of a Shooting Star but this object was much larger and as it entered it slowed somewhat, It was bright with a orange tint at first. As I turned and said “look at that” the Object moved to the Southwest then Back to the West.

The Object moved with Great Precision. It looked like a Laser Bouncing off Mirrors it was so precise. The Object moved to the West and a Very Fast Speed, Much faster than a Plane, This I know because Memphis has a lot of Air Traffic, this Object was moving at double the Speed of any Plane, But as it headed to the west about 40 or 50 seconds, it moved again back to the North W! est what looked like into its Original Flight Path, The Object flew to the West getting smaller and smaller till it looked like it became stationary then it faded away.

The reason I know this was something not normal is the way it moved to the left and right and the light was visible while moving away from us. I’m not sure what it was, but we both saw it and confirmed how it moved and come into the Sky.

Blinking lights in triangle formation over Vicksburg, leaving behind two large clouds of smoke then disappearing Approximately at 6:20 PM (CST) as I was driving towards Vicksburg from the Delta exit as I was approaching the bridge I saw blinking white lights on what I thought was possibly helicopters flying in formation headed SE over the river. As I watched whatever it was it became clear it wasn’t an airplane or helicopters. All of a sudden it (or they) seemed to stop in the sky briefly and shoot out a huge black / gray cloud of smoke then within a split second turned 180 degrees (maybe it turned before it sprayed the smoke…) and in what seemed like a second it was back over the river headed NW and once again sprayed another huge black or dark grey cloud after which the lights were gone.

Both ‘clouds’ didn’t move, they just hung there for as long as I could see as I passed under one and what I could see in my review mirror as I passed through Vicksburg.

Triangle lights over Brandon, MS I was traveling east on hwy80 at approx. 45mph when i noticed a light approaching my location, traveling west on the south side of the highway approx. 200' in the air.

I traveled for approx. 400' before turning right into a church entrance where i came to a stop under a street light. The light continued traveling toward my location.

When the light came whiten approx. 150-200yds of my location it banked right circling around me then proceeded to travel east, parallel with the highway. The vehicle did not make any noise upon, during and after its approach and pass.

When the vehicle banked left i noticed three (3) lights on the craft in a triangle formation.

unexplanable light over rural olive branch, ms Neighbours called me outside to show me this strange light in the sky. It was just above the tree lines to our southwest. It was very bright and at first did not move.

There were planes in the sky but this was in the same spot for about 15 minutes. Then the light got bigger and much brighter. Then it slowly descendwd, stopped again for about 10 minutes or so then was seen through tree tops before disappearing.

A yellow ball of light "turned on" flickered then shot downward at a rapid speed for two seconds and vanished. Picayune Mississippi. Driving north on Interstate 59 Approx 3 miles from exit 10.

Looking straight ahead in the night sky a yellow ball of light appeared to "turn on" flickered for a moment it then shot at a very very rapid speed downward at an angle for approx. two seconds then vanished.

Lights in Sky Driving north on Highway 61 passing Clarksdale. About 2 miles the town, the trees to my right cleared to open fields . That is when I noticed bright light I thought it was a star or one of the planets.

Well i kept on driving keeping a eye on it. When it all of a sudden be came bigger and really bright. Then another dimer light split away from it and became as bright as the first one was.

It seem to fly towards me and the it was gone. Two more split away from the original one headed north th other south. They stayed on that heading till the one going north disappeared I looked and one heading south when it zipped across the sky like a shooting star and made a complete stop.

It was now where the one going north was, if I had blinked I would have missed it. Then flew to the northwest till it was out of site. Now the orginal is still in same spot just hovering.

I had decided to pull over to watch, but before that happened I noticed three more lights in a trian! gle around the big one. They small and very dimm . Soon they were a bright as the first one.

I pull over, on another road and got out of the truck. Two of them where gone by the time I got out and the other was seem to fade away. The original like still has not moved I got out camera and tried to take a photo.

I forgot to turn flash off so when took a pic the camera flashed. That is when it dimmed started moving to the north. I got back in the truck and got back on the road light followed right besided me all the to Tunica.

we seen a saucer shaped object lit up huvering in the sky on june 19-2010 at 21:00pm we were coming down the street behind our house,facing a ball park we could see somthing in the sky at first,we thought it was a star,but it got closer,it was lit up real bright and it look like a saucer, it had what look too be a opening in the top of it. it just sat there huvering then it dissapeared out of sight.we have a picture of the object.

The Object Transmitted A Noise Then Flew Off I Was Out Watering My Dogs And I Laid On The Ground I Stayed There For I A Minute Or Two And I Saw This Object In The Sky And I Thought It Was Just A Airplane Flying Over So I Just Stayed Lying On The Ground But As It Got Closer It Looked Unlike Any Airplane Or Helicopter And It Made No Noise So I Stood Off The Ground And Looked At The Object Of A Shining Color And Disk Like SHape I Have Not Seen With Blood Red Lights On The Sides And One On The Bottom And Then I Heard A Screech In My Ears And My Head Began To Throb And Then It Stayed There Floating And The Noise Stopped After A Minute And Then The Object Shined Brighter And Then Shot Of Like A Jet Up In The Air And Disappeared In The Sky.

Lights in the Mississippi sky. A friend and I were returning home from an out of town baseball game. When we got close to home we left Interstate 55 at Como, MS exit.

Traveled east on back road. Noticed a large dark triangle in the eastern sky. The moon was full and the sky wasn't black but the area in the triangle was black.

As we watched one of the lights on the side of the triangle left the triangle and vanished. Following this the shape changed and appeared to move north. The movement was not rapid.

We had stopped the car to watch what was going on. I was looking north and saw two balls of light one from the east and one from the west. The two objects passed each other and quickly vanished.

The two appeared to moving at a rapid rate. We made a sharp turn over a bridge and we were slowly driving west.What appeared to be a glowing orb was seen in the nothern sky.

It was very bright. As we watched it became larger and the light from it became very bright. It was as though it made several p! ulse like glows and then vanished.

All of this occured over unplanted fields in a rural area. Today I rode over the area. I could find only one tower and it was marked with a red light.

All of the lights we saw were bright white. We did see several planes.

looked at first like a comet Saw a large fireball in the sky heading southwest. Was very bright with a long tail. After a few moments, heard a loud boom, as if something had crashed a few miles away.

Other that dogs barking and birds waking up, no other sound noted.

Triangular craft observed near Biloxi Black triangular craft seen over Mississippi Sound toward Deer Island from casino. Craft moving slowly toward the east. Soft white lights were noted on each corner and one in the middle of the craft.

Similar to one seen by this individual from Biloxi Beach 2 years ago. The craft made no audible sound.

what appeared to be a twinkling star moved quickly up at a 45 degrees then stopped and became fixed and did not move thereafter I was walking out to get the morning paper at 6:10 a.m., and something caught my eye in the southwestern sky, near the horizon.

It was dark and the stars were shining brightly. I saw two things: the first was clearly a jet airplane, very small and moving near the horizon in a southernly direction, but with the blinking lights there was no question it was a jet. I then saw what I first thought was a "shooting star" to the west of the jet, but it was moving in a north westerly direction--kind of at a 45 degree angle--moving UP, not down.

But it did not dissipate like a shooting star, it just kept moving upwards at a 45 degree angle at a high rate of speed for somthing that small. It looked just like a twinkling star--similar to those in the sky around it--not like the far off jet I had already seen. It continued to move up in the western sky, then slowed and stopped.

It looked just like the other twinkling stars in the sky. Then it just stayed t! here, fixed. I thought it must be another jet that had ascended then turned either away from me, or towards me, and would either grow larger or disappear, as planes at night do.

But it did neither. It just stayed there with the same twinkling intensity for about 5 minutes. I got tired of looking at and came inside.

This twinkling thing was probably a jet, but I've never seen one just hang in the sky and not move at all.

Dart-like craft emerged from tail of a fireball On 03/14/2010 at approx. 1:45 PM I was driving northbound on hwy 49 coming into Florence MS. Out of the northeastern sky a fireball appeared heading straight down for the ground.

It burned with a bright green flame through a partly cloudy sky. Out of the trailing tracer behind the fireball a dart shaped craft appeared. It was silver or gray with no tail rudder and appeared to be standing still then suddenly began moving southeast perpendicular to the ground.

It suddenly picked up speed and disappeared into the horizon leaving behind a light white beam-like tracer that quickly faded. Everyone on the road and in the vicinity saw the fireball/meteorite because traffic slowed down, several people swerved to avoid hitting each other. The meteorite made the local news but I have not seen any reports of the craft that emerged from it.

I'm sure most were focused on the fireball because it was spectacular and the craft could have been mistaken for a low flying airplane. I have played the event back over and over in my head and the craft was definitely not an airplane, helicopter, or other known type of terrestrial aircraft. I am a chef/bartender that has lived in MS most of my life.

I do not use drugs or alcohol.

Four yellow and red objects in the night sky for several hours. On the night of 14 February, 2010, my husband and I were on our back porch and we noticed several unusual lights in the sky. There were four objects in total, each appearing to be triangular or diamond-shaped.

They were lit yellowish white at the center and had red spots at their edges. One object was immediately to the east. One was immediately to the west.

The last two were to the southeast and southwest. Around midnight a low-pitched humming noise could be heard, even within our home. The neighborhood is generally quiet at night, so the noise was easy to hear.

This is the second time that we have seen the lights. The previous time was the first or second Tuesday in January. Earlier that evening, there had been a series of sonic booms that were similar to a series of sonic booms heard all along the Gulf Coast last fall.

The booms were heard over several nights. During the initial sighting, an attempt at photographing the objects was made, but t! hey did not appear in the picture.

A bright light hovering in the southwestern sky. I woke up around 1:00 A.M.

last night. For some reason I glanced out the window, and noticed a large bright star and it caught my attention. It was blinking with different color lights; through a pair of binocs you could hardly look at it, it was so bright.

Well i noticed it moved then stopped. It would hover then move again. It didn't seem to have any set direction.

I woke my brother up and he was stunned at what we were watching. While we were watching my dad heard the commotion, and being a skeptical man, he was dumbfounded at the object. This object was in the southwest sky.

We couldn't hear any noise from it. The object continued this for a couple hours until I went back to sleep. If anyone could please tell me what this may of been I'd be obliged.
