three different crafts. Each comprised of 3 very bright making a triangular formation. It made like a low whirring or humming sound.

Driving home at night alone from a friends. Had a cigarette. i dropped the lit cigarette and pulled over onto the dirt to look for it.

Very dark, no other cars. just then a VERY bright light shined in the back window. I thought it was the police.

So I got out of the car and faced the back of it. I saw these three crafts hovering like what seemed to be only about 100 ft above me. That was at 10:00 pm.

I think at that point I turned to run and I must of slipped and hit my head or something and got knocked out. because when I got up and back into my car(it seemed like only minutes had gone by) The announcer on the radio said it was 2am! So like FIVE hours had gone by. Wierd, huh??.

very high altitude.made several stops and direction changes. often at night i go outside to look at the sky ever since a sighting i had in upstate new york.

often i am rewarded.what appear to be very dim stars on a very clear night doing incredible things. they move quickly and stop on a dime.

they change direction . they do corkscrews towards the ground.if anyone has the time to watch the sky late at night do so and look for dim high altitude stars doing crazy things.

I saw a white object shoot across the sky at about 50-100 feet high. Looked like a comet, but was way to close to the ground and was traveling horizontal to the ground and changed direction. I was driving on the Merrit Parkway in Norwalk Ct(about exit 38) heading north/east.

I saw a comet-like object shoot across the sky about 50-100 feet above the ground. It had a trail of light coming from the back of it, and changed direction. The total time I saw this was probably about 10 seconds.

The object was moving very fast and lit up the entire sky. It was way to low to the ground to be a shooting star or a meteor. Also, I have seen many shooting stars and this was nothing like it.

3rd,between 3:30 to 4:00PM""boom rocked Stamford"Police were called no apparent cause. The Stamford's Advocate newspaper (Sun.Oct.

10th)edition reported in its front page about an unexplained boom that "rocked"the city of Stamford the previous weekend, that might have been connected to reported sightings of a "circular shaped" UFO over the coast of Wesport(CT) earlier that day". The boom "rattled" some windows,around certain neighborhoods in the city of Stamford. Also, residents of close by cities: Darien,Norwalk,and Danbury, reported "flashing lights in the sky before the boom".

Frank Fedeli,a supervisor of Stamford Citizens Services Center,said:"it sounded like blasting,like the noise of an excavating machine"."the windows rattle,like a boom,and it was gone". The Stamford police received many calls,but they,and firemen,did not find anything odd.

City officials guessed "it might have been a small earthquake,or sonic boom from aircraft". However, airports and the National Earthquake Information did not detected anything unusual.

cigar shape ship with message. WHAT I SAW WAS BEYOUND BELIEF IT WAS A BEAUTIFUL SITE TO SEE FOR SOME UNKNOW REASON I WAS COMPELLED TO LOOK UP AN THERE IT WAS A CIGAR SHAPE CRAFT JUST SITTING THERE I WAS TRANFIX TRYING TO MAKE SENSE OF WHAT I WAS SEEING IT HAD TO BE AT LEAST THREE TIMES THE SIZE OF A 747 JET AN YET IT JUST SIT THIER MOTIONLESS WITH OUT ANY WINGS. MY POSITION WAS IN A CHURCH PARKING LOT LOOKING BACK TOWARDS THE CHURCH AND ITS STEEPLE THE SKY WAS CLEAR WITH A FEW CLOUDS OFF IN THE DISTEND WHICH GAVE ME DEPTH AN PRECEPTION I WAS ON MY LUNCH BREAK.

THE COLOR WAS SLIVER VERY SHINNY THIS OBJECT COULDNT OF BEEN MORE THAN 4000 FEET UP. SO IN CLOSEING I CAME AWAY KNOWING ALOT MORE THEN I ONCE DID ABOUT WHATS REALLY GOINIG ON. TELL THE TRUTH BUT DONT TELL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

solid light traveling horizontally across horizon which grew very bright and disappeared. I'm an architectural designer, a private pilot who is building my own kit aircraft, President of the local Experimental Aircraft Association chapter 334 and formerly an e-4 US Air Force Missile maintainence technician for the Minuteman III and nuclear ground launched cruise missile systems. My wife and I love to sit in our hot tub and watch the aircraft, shooting stars and satellites go by.

One night in early July we were watching some aircraft along the airway (providence to NY which runs northeast to southwest, slightly south of us)with all their lights on and strobes flashing. We both noticed a light of normal brightness and size east of us (somewhere over Rhode Island)traveling across this path to the southeast. This white light didn't have any nav or strobe lights around it.

It was traveling horizontally just above the horizon to our right and away from us in a slight climb when it became very bright for a couple of seconds and disappeared. It was traveling about the same speed as the other aircraft 250mph+/- and way too slow to be a shooting star. Definitely not fireworks either.

I know aircraft and this was not conventional behavior. The brightness was like that of a typical white taillight and then a landing light being turned on and pointed exactly at you - very bright. I'm sure that is not what it was - no aircraft could turn around that fast point at us and still travel along its path backwards.

And when I say it disappeared, I mean nothing left of it. Also, no sound. We could hear the other aircraft that night.

Witnessed single object flying over at high speed Object was a single bluish light (no strobe lights normally associated with conventional aircraft). Apparent brightness was slightly brighter than a star, maybe equivalent to a dim planet. Object left no visible trail behind it and moved at a speed seemingly too high for an airplane.

Object spotted at medium altitude over the horizon, seen to fly at very high speed in an east-northeast direction apparently at a constant altitude. After approximately 10 seconds, object accelerated out of sight, again leaving no trail behind.

VERTICAL FLYING CRAFT DISAPEARING INTO SPACE. WHILE SITTING IN A PARKING LOT OF A SHOPPING CENTER I WAS FACING SOUTH. I OBSERVED A LIGHT WHICH I THOUGHT WAS AN AIRCRAFT FLYING NORTHWARD.

AS I WATHCHED THE LIGHT IT SEEMED TO BE HEADING TOWARDS ME. AS I WATCHED IT I NOTICED THAT THE LIGHT WAS NOT GETTING CLOSER BUT ACTUALLY MOVING VERTICALLY. I WATCHED THE LIGHT AS IT BECAME SMALLER AND DISAPEARED, OR THE LIGHT BECAME TO SMALL TO SEE.

The craft was translucent, but if you looked directly at it, you could make out the outline. Bridgeport over the new DMV area near Wonder Land of Ice. The craft was cloaked, transparent, the shape reminded me of the new navy ships that are stealth, sloped front, flat back and v shaped underneath.

Sphere shaped object traveled at right angles, and high speeds. Myself and two other policeman saw a sphere shaped object fly at right angles, and at a high speed. It could not possibly be an aircraft in the traditional sense.

No interaction, but eye contact made directly almost face to face with distinct humanoid figure with circular head. I had awoken at probably midnight or 1:00 am. I was unsure, but I had a strong feeling of something watching me, or similar.

I sit up, and in the window (which is on the second story of my house), there were two glowing greenish eyes. The unidentified creature had a distinct humanoid head, with no ears, and almost no nose, but it was hidden almost. I did not have any interactions with this figure, but I did make a distinct eye contact that I will never forget.

I approached the window, then turned and walked out of my room and to the bathroom to make sure I wasn't asleep, and I was not. Were we scanned by an orb or probe? After sleeping for a while, I woke first seeing something in the bedroom. I awoke my wife who knows me for seeing things that aren't there said there is nothing there. I urged her to take a look which she finally did and she was startled and closed her eyes thinking "I am only dreaming".

She took a second look and freaked. I fumbled for the light and turned it on and the object had dissapeared. ((NUFORC Note: Date is approximate.

Floating thing Came from off campus class with classmate. Was dropping him off when I said look at that. We looked at each other like, "do you see that?".

It was night time so I stepped out of my car so there was no obstruction, not even the window. This saucer shaped thing was hovering slowly and moving slightly side to side for about two minutes. It was a dull shine, not like the stars or the moon.

I looked much bigger than a star and was also closer than stars. Went to tell someone else and of course it was gone. I told the security gaurd we saw something weird.

He said that thing in the sky, I know, I saw it too. Very strange, just glad I wasn't the only one to see it. ((NUFORC Note: Witness indicates that the date of the incident is approximate.

at 2:30am I looked out my bedroom window and thought I saw a bright star. It began to move in a circular fashion. I got binoculars out but could only see that there were lights on the object.

It did not move like a airplane or helicopter moves. It was slow moving and seems to stay in the same vicinity. It was very bright.

It was north of my location.

Clear night. Wife and I saw circle of lights, green, bluish on stationary object about 200-500 feet. Suddening object moved right and upwards at unbievable speed and disappeared.
