Oh, what a night ! Two (2) saucer-shaped, glowing green objects and one (1) brilliantly glowing sphere gliding over the lake. My father, mother, sister and I had just finished dinner. When my sister, who left the table first, went to the front part of the house, yelled suddenly "Mom, Dad - look out over the lake.
" When we heard that, we rose from the table and looked out the kitchen windows. We observed two (2) saucer shaped objects over the boat landing area, which was located approximately one-quarter of a mile away. They had a light green aura.
My sister and I ran out behind the house and up the hill to observe from a better vantage point. When we turned back around to look at the objects, we noticed a third object over the water of the lake, which appeared to be approximately three hundred (300) to three hundred and fifty (350) yards away. It's appearance was that of a sphere of approximately ten (10) yards in diameter, that was glowing from within with an intense, pure, bright white light which reflected off the water and tree tops.
The third craft moved slowly in a south-easterly direction at approximately five (5) miles per hour, crossing from the water onto the land and above the trees. Meanwhile, our attention was recaptured by the two (2) saucer-shaped objects. While my sister and I were observing the crafts and concentrating on them intently, I noticed that cloud-like formations appeared flanking the objects.
Both craft then seemed to move within the cloud-like formations. One of the objects and it's accompanying cloud-like formation faded from sight over a period of approximately five to seven seconds. The other cloud-like formation was at this point still visible.
Shortly after the first cloud disappeared, the remaining vessel emerged halfway from the cloud-like formation, as if to be playing 'peek-a-boo'. Then I suddenly felt a shiver throughout my entire body, and began wondering where the first craft had disappeared to, and if it were behind me. I turned to look and there was nothing there.
That was when I realized that I was dealing with something that was beyond my experience. ! We both ran back down the hill and into the house. When we looked back out the window, there was nothing there.
Though this event seems to be something of a dream, I do know that it really happened, and that it has made a large impact upon my life and the way that I look at things. ((NUFORC Note: Date is approximate. PD)).

Strange lights in Norwalk, CT Me and my girlfriend were driving East, when we seen a light above the tree tops. It was a bright light not moving so we pulled over and watched it for a few minutes, it then shot off to the South. I was on my way to bring my girlfriend home and when we got to her house, her neighbor was outside in the middle of her field looking at the sky.
We asked her what she was doing that late and she said a light was hovering over her horse stables, and the horses were spooked and ran out. She caught a bit of it and it stood there hovering for a few moments and then shot off. It was something odd, and I know that I saw a UFO.
I don't khow if anyone else has seen this in our hometown at that time. ((NUFORC Note: Witness indicates that date is approximate. PD)).

Grey overcast sky with a shard of sunlight breaking thru & hitting the top of a motionless object. After a minute it flys directly away I’m 68 years old and this is the first time I’ve officially reported this sighting fearing that I would be ridiculed or mocked for it. I’m not judging what I saw.
I only know that I don’t know what it was or what it could’ve been. There’s nothing then or know that can come close to explaining it. I was 17 at the time and practicing alone for a tournament on a golf course that by all rights should’ve been busier.
It’s a beach course and I still remember to this day the 7 iron I had just hit the ball with. When I looked up to track the shot, that’s when I noticed it. It was a grey overcast sky except for the shards of sunlight that streamed through a small opening in the cloud layer that brought the object to my attention.
The object was under and in direct line with that beam of sunlight which reflected brilliantly off the top of a metallic (?) disk like object delineating the dark underside of it. The top was undulating or possibly emitting pulsating light, I couldn’t tell. But It was broad daylight and exceptionally bright over that disc.
I remember shouting the words “Hey!” Several times to either draw attention to myself by it or anyone else on the course that could corroborate what I was witnessing. That’s when I noticed there was no one else around at least not on any of the holes near me. Not a soul.
That surprised me under the circumstances. Over the next few moments that I’ll never forget, the experience was utterly baffling in every conceivable way. Truly, I was filled with an overwhelming sense of awe and wonder that persists to this day.
When I first saw it, it was hovering motionless about 500 meters away from me and roughly between 100-200 meters off the ground and completely soundless. It was large but of indeterminate size because I couldn’t be absolutely sure how far away it was from me. Then, after several more moments, the disc like object slipped silently and directly away from me out from under the sunlight at a high rate of speed and then executed an impossible angular change of direction vertically at a sharp angle and disappeared into the cloud layer.
Any reasonable explanation escaped me then and even now I can’t fully understand what I saw. Nothing can. What it was and the way it moved is simply beyond my comprehension.
What I’d like to know is, in all of your archives, are there any similar reports like mine involving a disc shaped object reported along the Connecticut shoreline in the area of Clinton, Madison, or Guilford during the early to mid summer of 1973. I couldn’t find any on my own. It’s frustrating because I know what I saw was real.
I just don’t know what on earth it could have been. So If there's anyone out there that might’ve seen what I did, that would certainly be comforting.

wedge shaped objects flying in formation over hood of car at dusk while driving on highway. Back in early spring 1973 a friend and I were driving north on I-91 near Hartford, CT when there appeared three silvery wedge-shaped objects flying from west to east right in front of the windshield of the car. The objects were small, about one foot in length and were plain, no lights, nothing at all.
What was just as strange is that they appeared and then disappeared but we didn't see them fly in or fly away - they came and then they were just completely gone. I looked into the other cars to see if people were waving or pointing but no one else seemed to have seen the objects so I kept my mouth shut. A few minutes later, my friend said, "You are going to think I'm crazy.
" I said something like "Go ahead." He said,"Did you see anything strange?" I became very excited because he had seen them too and our descriptions matched exactly. These three objects were flying in a V shaped formation and neither of us could explain what they were.
We knew we were near Bradley Airport in Windsor Locks so we kept trying to explain it on those terms, that it was experimental aircraft of some sort. Then I said maybe they were remote controlled toys - but who would fly them across a busy highway? and why did they appear and disappear so suddenly like that? I turned on the car radio to see if there was any mention on the news but there wasn't. When we got to my parents' house I ran to the tv to see if they were talking about it but there were no reports and there was nothing in the papers the next day either.
I have never forgotten this incident. Small, wedge-shaped, close-up, dark silver, appeared and disappeared suddenly, at dusk in early spring. I shudder when I see the stealth planes now because the shape reminds me, although what I saw back then was small and just straight lines like an arrowhead.
