Weather or NOT a Balloon!!! I can't believe I found this site! Anyways, This was so vivid that I can still see it. It was a fall day. The Yankees had just beaten the Dodgers in the World series game in La to go up 3 games to 2.

We were outside shooting hoops in the driveway. Me, a couple of my friends and my Brother. I believe my Mother was inside at the time, I can't remember if my other Sister or Father were? Just over the tree tops heading in the direction similar to flight patterns of planes landing at Tweed New Haven airport was this disc shaped object with white rotating lights around the rim of it.

Clear as day. It was maybe a few hundred feet or so above the rooftops of the homes. We lived on a dead end and it was a crisp cool autumn day.

Not too many people were out, other than those at our home. I ran inside to see if my Mother had heard our calls and looked out to see it. I fumbled for the phone and called information for Tweed New Haven.

Once I called I asked them if they had been receiving calls about a UFO sighting. He blew it off stating that it was a weather balloon and the lights that I was seeing rotating were a messageboard saying "congratulations to the Yankees" for winning the world series! It was at that point, a young boy and avid Yankee and sports fan in general responded " The Yanks didn't win the series.they're up 3 games to 2"! The man.

at the base of low cloud, bottom of saucer craft grayish with ring semi rectangular multi colored lights 100 ft diameter emerged in 1977 my friend skip 18 and me rob 17 two teens, were walking south in a large field atop cherry hill road in middlefield ct. it was partly overcast day i believe evening around 7 pm ,possibly september . we then both noticed emerging from a low cloud like area high above the center of the field a large light greyish saucer like ship emerge with a smaller ring of semi rectangular connected multi colored lights at its base .

we both stood calmly in aw it was large surreal ,our focus became the lower ring of lights that were more visible than the saucer at its base as it came down out of the cloud .shortly after it emerged time becomes a blur i only remember us walking home .to this day decades later 2016 skip contacted me the first thing he said to me is do you remember the flying saucer.

i forgot about the incident ,then it all came back .

Similar "dream" to posting on 1/1/77 in CT. Someone posted an encounter that happened on 1/1/77 in Connecticut that was so similar to mine it made the hair on my neck stand on end. I am now 33 yrs old and live in Arizona.

When I was about 7 yrs old, at least once a year i would receive a visit from a little grey alien (in a dream). In this dream which seemed very real, i would be sleeping in my bed to be awakened by a ufo (silver and disc shaped) at a distance outside my window. Next thing I can remember is being floated down my front stairway, out the front door, up and over my neighbors yard, then I would be standing in a gas station parking lot in the next town over.

It was a 76 gas station, which is now a Citgo, located on the westbound side of Saltonstall Parkway in East Haven, CT. This little grey alien, classic description(grey,large head w/large black eyes and very skinny) would play with me and tell me to come with him. All i can remember is refusing to go, then being back in bed, seeing the alien wave goodbye and fly off in the ufo.

Since this time, i've only had one other sighting which was about 2 yrs ago. I stopped at roy rogers on washington ave in N.Haven CT to get breakfast about 7:30 am.

When i came out of the restaurant, somthing in the sky was reflecting off the morning sun. i looked up and immediately seen the classic disc shaped silver ufo hovering way up in the sky. I knew what it was immediatly.

I looked away and then back at it a couple of times to make sure my eyes wern't bugging out. I watched it move back, forward and side to side in an erratic manner. It was there for about 10 minutes then just dissapeared into thin air.

In my youth, my friend and I witnessed an inverted, glowing teacup hovering over Fairfield University campus. I'm sorry I don't remember the exact dates or even year, as this happened over 30 years ago, but I do remember exactly what I saw. I was in the back seat of my parent's car along with my childhood friend Raymond, and we were driving from my house to my Uncle and Aunt's house.

We were driving past the SW corner of the Fairfield University campus, and for some reason Raymond and I were looking out the back window, up at the sky. Maybe it was because a few days earlier we'd also seen something that caught our eye up in the sky. It was just before dusk, and the sky was beginning to darken.

Hovering over the corner of the campus was a glowing object, pale yellow. It had a shallow convex bottom, and the top was an inverted teacup shape. For some reason it seemed to be spinning clockwise, while there was a ring of green and red lights that made up a belt where the top and bottom of the object met.

This ring of lights moved in a counter clockwise direction. It just hovered there, maybe about the size of half dollar or dollar coin from our perspective. I have no idea how high up in the sky it was.

We sat in silence and watched this object as we drove past. When the car turned left at the corner, we watched until it was out of sight. We then turned to one another to confirm that we both just witnessed the same thing.

Close up sighting of UFO saucer over house at about 100 feet altitude. It was around 8:00 to 9:00 pm in late July or August (don’t remember other than it was a warm time of year and in the evening and in New England so it had to be mid summer) and was getting dark out but still light enough to see details in all objects (trees, house and vehicles). I was in my car with my son (about 10 years old at the time) and we were backing out of the driveway, which slopes up from the house to the street.

As I approached the street I saw this large saucer/disk shaped object hovering directly above (less than 100 feet) my house. My house was about 45 feet long and this object was a little larger than the house, so I would estimate it was about 60-70 feet in diameter. When I reached the street and backed out into the center of the road (this was a circular dead end street) the object moved towards me and again just hovered over my car.

I opened the window and stuck my head out to get a better view and also to see if I could hear any sounds, ! which there weren’t any. I am a very mechanically oriented person (I worked as a mechanical designer at a model shop) and kept looking at the ship to see what is was and if I could detect anything that might indicate it was a hoax or some type of simulated ‘space craft’. The ship was a disk shape with a dropped central area on the bottom with windows all around the vertical surface.

There was a soft green lighting effect inside as though there were lights coming from below the windows or back away from the windows, like you would get from lighted instrument panels. I could see seams on the outside surfaces defining the ‘metal’ panels that made up the skin of the ship. It looked just like a typical aluminum aircraft construction.

There were no exterior lights that I could see from below. (At this point I am convinced this is a UFO type craft and started to look at the details.) The ship started to move away from me, following the street above the trees, and I proceeded to fo! llow it, all the time with my head out the window.

I was movin! g at abo ut 10-15 miles per hour and kept up with it as it moved down the street. I never heard any sound coming from the ship and it remained just above the trees, so I would guess it was still about 100 feet above the street level. I followed it down to the end of the street and then all the way to the end of the next street where it dead ended and the ship ‘shot off over the woods’ and disappeared into the night sky.

I had heard from some of my relatives that it was seen about 15-20 miles away the next day near Mahopac, NY. I have been an office manager, mechanical designer and Security Officer for my company in Oak Ridge, TN for almost 30 years and did not want to ‘go public’ with this as I was concerned that it could affect my job and/or credibility in my position. After seeing and reading about so many reported sighting of UFO’s (lights in the sky and small blurred images) but never anything as close as my experience, I decided to tell my story now that I am retired and would like ‘let it go’.

Large unidentified object seen in the sky in Meriden, Connecticut, in the late 1970's. This event happened when I was a child, so I am unsure of the exact year or more specifically the exact date and time. My best guess is the late 70s.

My then sister-in-law (She is no longer my sister-in-law and unfortunely have lost contact with her.) and I was coming out of her apartment which was a two family house at the end of a dead end road in Meriden to go to the car. It was just around 8 p.

m. I am unsure as to were we were going but I think she was giving me a ride back to my house in Southington. We walked down a set of steep steps going down to the car (at that time, noticed nothing in the sky even being up at a higher level).

By the time we got down to the road at the car, we started seeing some very large object in the sky which was moving very slowly and seemed to just appear from a set of trees to the right. As I said, I was a child at the time so details are sketchy. What I do remember is it was very large 200-300 feet, it was oval in shaped, many lights around the edges and I believe the object was a dark gun metal color.

Me and my sister-in-law were pretty scared at the time. The object just appeared to be hovering or stopped. Then ever so slowly it would move.

We got in the car and started to drive down the road. As we were driving down the road, we saw someone walking on the side of the road. My sister-in-law stopped and said to this guy who was probably about in his 30s "Do you see what we are seeing?".

I remember he said 'Yea, What is that?". My sister-in-law said 'We don't know but we are going to follow it". We continued down the road keeping the object within our vision at all times.

We got on the 691 highway heading towards Southington as that appeared where it was heading. The object picked up some speed but was still flying low. When we were on the highway, we saw a bunch of cars slow down and put their brake lights on as I am sure they were just as curious to what this was.

It was getting a little more difficult to follow it once on the highway because the object did pick up speed. As we went by high cliffs (that were near Hubbard Park) that were on the right side of the highway we lost track of the object. After we got past the cliffs, we looked in the sky to see where it was and it was gone.

As I said, unfortunetly, I am not in contact with my now ex-sister in law anymore as she would probably remember more details of the event then me because she was mouch older. Even years after this happened, I remember her saying to me.'Do you remember that night we saw that thing in the sky?".

The craft was HUGE! Its diameter was big enough to fit a couple of good sized houses under it. Had windows, all the way around the top part, which kept changing colors. Had many small lights around the outside edge on its underside,and it had larger lights in the center.

It made NO sound at all. We watched it tip then right itself a couple times then it took off so fast it amazed us. We were at St.

Mary's beach watching this amazing thing. It was a saucer shape with a domed top, which had opaque windows around the domed top which kept changing colors. My husband is an Art Teacher and an Artist, and I am a Hypnotherapist and artist.

I was 27 at the time and he was 35. There were other people there, in their cars, but I don't know if they saw it too. I hoovered over a house for quite a while, made absolutely no sound at all.

It had tinny lights around the bottom edge, and I don't remember how many larger lights at the center of the bottom of it. St. Mary's is an area where there are large old homes, some newer ones, and it is right on the water.

possible abductions when I was a kid living in Ct. in the middle of the night i would be forcibly floated out of house by short people i have a few memories of very lucid dreams or something which took place when I was quite young(between the ages of 6-10?) which at the time seemed significant even to me at that age. I remember one night being floated against my will down the stairs of our house.

I was terrified , and my feet were about a foot off the ground .there was a short figure (even seemed shorte than me )which I took to be a which and it was beside me the whole time. I tried to grab the wall and the bannister but could not get a firm hold.

My next memmory, can't say wether or not it was the same night, occured in my driveway. this one happened repeatedly. I would find myselfe being floated down my driveway towards the road by little grey men .

that they conformed so accurately to the modern stereo-type is the reason that I am reporting these events. thes e guys seemed very real to me. after the first time I seemed to recognise them and them me .

like with the witch, my feet were about a foot,maybe two feet off the ground and I would keep trying to find the ground so i could run, with my legs moving in a cycling motion below me ,but i never found it. This hpenned about three or for times and at least one of the times one of my little sisters was there with me. At the time I thought these were morethan dreams and wondered if maybe they were real but in another dimension or something that shared the smame space that I normally lived in but was normally not accesible.

I also remember finding myselfe in my next door nighboors back yard in the middle of the night and having to climb up the hill back to my house. I moved to Scotland when i was therteen and didn't have anymore of these dreams. But I did have another strange dream when I moved back to connecticut for university I was staying at a freinds house in New Canaan durring the summer when I had this dream where I was on my back on like a hospital bed , being steered through a huge well lit place by two people.

there were many other people , in groups but I didn't take much mote of them.when i was left olone on the bed I tried to run but my feet had some kind of glass sandles or something crudely stuck to the soles. as I ran back the way they had brouht me these sandles slid arround on the mettalic floor.

I ended up in some kind of smaller darker room with some people who were doing a project and were very calm and made me feel more relaxed. this could have just been a dream,I really dont know ,but I mention it just in case anyone else has had a similar one I am 27 years of age and fairly well educated and work as a deck -hand in Miami by the way- about a month ago I saw a green/blue fireball looking north west from my balcony .It was bigger and slower than a shooting star and move more horizontal than virtically.

it dissapeared after lees than two seconds. it was almost the sise if the moon.
