A large blue light steaks acoss the sky, slows downs, and then excelerates. I was lying in my bed at around 11:00 PM on December 17, 2008 watching t.v.

I heard an airplane going by outside, as usual, and looked out my looked out the window which is right next to my bed and as I looked I saw the plane I heard, but then a second later, a light dashed quickly across the night sky. It was about the size of what the moon looks like and was turquoise blue. It came out of no where and did what seemed to be a slight decrease in speed before speeding away in a slightly different direction.

It went across the horizon from South to North and speed away at an abnormally fast speed. I immediately jumped up from my bed and placed my head against the open window. It was gone though.

It had left so fast across the sky. I remember thinking, "well it traveled as fast as an meteorite, but it was just way too big and way too low." I don't know what this phenomena was, but I know what it wasn't and it wasn't a meteorite and it wasn't any man made machine that I am familiar with.

bright green object flying really fast. i was driving back home from my friends house when all of a sudden i saw this bright green light in the sky fly over my car,the object seemed to be round and did not make any noise. It flew really fast to be a plane becasue i could only see it for a few seconds and it just vanished.

There was a bright gray circular object that crossed the sky in a matter of seconds and dissapered. I was in my fathers truck at sunset when I and my father witnessed a strange object zoom across the sky, which took only 3seconds. Then it stopped for about 2 seconds and disappeared.

I was hysterical when I realized what just happened. The object was bright but it had a circular gray out- line and center. Also, we were on a back rode that was in the woods.

Two lights over "Black Rock, Bridgeport, Fairfield County, Connecticut", one cigar chaped one firebal-like object. Me and my father from approximately 20:00 11/23/08-20:10 11/23/08 observed two objects in the distance towards the south. The first object was a small non-blinking light that later appeared to be a small cigar shape(in the distance), it was extremely slowly heading East towards New Haven County, Connecticut, later also moving gradually upward while gaining speed.

The second object was a slightly larger light that looked like it could have been over seaside park or black rock harbor, it was heading West towards Westchester County, New York at again a very slow rate. It later began again moving at a faster rate yet not moving upward like the first object, as it started moving faster I could see a green light moving back and forth along the bottom of the object. I am very freaked out right now, I have visited this site before so I knew where to turn to to report this.

Ironically, our video camera broke earlier today so I could not record this event. ((NUFORC Note: Possibly Venus and Jupiter in the southwest sky?? PD)).

Driving to buy a car.on the highway about three miles before the exit for stratford. I looked to my left to see a disc that was like reflecting metal or a mirror in the sky.

Freaking out slightly I kept it in my head the sun was on the opposite side of the sky starting to set also round. But it sat there and riding down the highway the trees were passing in front of it. Then it was gone.

Scanning the sky rationalizing some type of weather anomaly I looked up and there it was. very close. Helicoptors were coming from all directions at it.

Then it disappeared. So at that point I lost it.my bf was driving telling me to calm down it was nothing.

I looked back and it was far back in the distance and there were helicoptors upwards of ten surrounding and coming in on it.then it was gone. Getting off the highway.

I was just contemplating all the thoughts of what it could be in my head. We arrived at the house to look at a used saab for me and we took a test drive. I was in the back seat.

We went down a long road and I saw this huge gated factory. I asked the woman what it was.she said sikorsky airport they manufactur helicoptor engines.

So there was my answer.reflection of a test helicoptor. Maybe some type of directional things in the sky for the testing of the helicoptors.

there was my answer. So we bought the car and left it there untill we obtained the paper work. we drove off in my bf rx7 and missed the highway we saw a small diner and the lights on and in the car were dimming so my bf backed into to look at the car.

looking out the front window I saw the biggest brightest circle/disc and it was close really close.and helicoptors were swarming it circling it and more and more were coming across the sky at it.then it was just gone.

blink of an eye.so now I am losing it.and the car is fine so we take off back in the direction we came.

Then it happened again the car was bucking lights going off everything. then it went dead. It was freezing.

I pressed my faced up against the window to see what looked like the same ufo (call it that now :) and I literally opened the door falling out from excitment.It was cold and the ground was frozen and muddy.I was just staring into this disc that looked like it was sitting on the tree tops.

no sound.helicoptors flew in all around it and they were coming from all directions the yard I was in went up a hill and it started to move very very slowly unlike before.I saw it move and the helicoptors moved with it.

all I could here was them and barking dogs.I couldn't see cause the street lights were out were we broke down.I ran looking up crying my eyes out from happiness disbelief some type of spiritual experinece.

idk but I ran as fast as possible in my heels sticking throught the ice and mudd and it went up over the hill and disappeared.I could still hear the helicoptors so it was still there.I was disappointed it was gone.

I turned around to walk back and in the sky far in the distance was 20 to 30 of the same disc/circles in what looked like a pattern sitting in the sky.but further away cause they were smaller.then they started blinking out or flying away (not visible to the eye) just gone.

they were all gone. The lights helicoptors everything. I am so a believer now.

it's not funny. I want to go back and sit around the same area to see if it is something that I can rationalize with that is common to us or something that is so unidentified openly and get the proof.if anyone would believe me.

You know I honestly told two people because I knew that everyone would think I was joking or losing it.

A white egg shaped light suddenly dissappears and more return. Well. I am very interested in stars so sometimes I take my dads binoculars to look at the stars.

On this cold autumn night i saw lots of stars and when i looked to the right on almost the edge of th tree line a saw this white and shaded blue egg shaped opject. It seemed to hover and there was no noise it was dead silent. It moved very fast but gracefully and I saw a beam of light come out from under it.

The glowing object suddenly it becxame bigger like it was coming to me and I backed up behind my dads truck to stay safe and the object was still in sight. Then the object had a red beam of light and beamed it into the front of it and then turned white and quickly dissappeared into a white light and it fell behind the trees. At first it looked ligth a shooting star but to the naked eye it looked like an egg shaped object.

I used the buinoculars to look at where the light went off and I saw it hiding behind the trees. Then it disappeared. When I went to look into the night sky again I noticed that the place I was looking at was full of the object there must have been lie 30 of them!!! They started to blink and I ran inside still watching.

They suddenly dissapeared 30 seconds after. This sighting is not a hoax and it is real!!!! I feel that this wass very freaky. If anyone else saw it I know they would feel this way too.

Deep Red Perfect Circle shaped object hovering in the sky My Husband was taking the dog out for a walk and shouted to me to come outside, I went outside and above the Waterbury/Watertown line was a red circle hovering over our culdesac area. The circle had a deep red tone to it and did not flash. We watched it for about 8 or 9 minutes and the circle only started to move after about 7 minutes.

It did a zigzag to the left, then to the right-as it slightly turned you could view a white flicker(a light of some sort for a split second) then it slowly faded off into the air as it moved off into the night. During this time, we had taken video with our digital camera and my husband was able to take a clip of it with the actual video camera. We were able to get about 5 or 6 minutes of straight footage of this with the digital camera.

This was in no way anything like we've ever seen before.

UFO BRIGHT LIGHT COMMING TOWARDS ME FROM SKY WHILE I AM DRIVING ON HIGHWAY APPROCHING MY EXIT! WHILE WAS TAKING MY EXIT THE OBJECT WENT ACROSS IN FRONT OF MY CAR AND STOP TO MY RIGHT SIDE OF CAR OVER THE TREES ABOT 5 FEET AND THE LIGHT WAS OFF. THERE WAS TWO RED LIGHT TO EACH AND OF WING AND ONE IN CENTER I BELEIVE WAS BLEU. I WAS STOP AT THE STREET LIGHT LOOKING AT IT FOR LESS THEN 1 MIN.

Bright light hovering suddenly disappeared. We saw one light that was changing color from red to white to blue repeatedly. Appeared to remain at the same elevation hovering over an area.

At first we thought it was an airplane but after 6 minutes it made very little progress moving forward in our direction. The light did get closer to us because it did grow in size and then suddenly as if someone turned off a switch, it disappeared. There was not a cloud in the sky and there were no abstructions.

Background of the observers: A married couple, 27 and 28 years old, 2 children, educated.

2 Rectangular/cylindrical lights jump from a white streak and move low over a highway At about 1am last night (early morning of Sunday, 10/19/08), 5 friends and myself were driving home, there were no other cars on the road and it was very dark (only about 1/2 moon out) when I saw what I initially thought was a shooting star on my left (South-East). The streak was bright white and went from high in the sky to low behind the trees (which were about 50 yards away and 30 feet high). I noted the streak was thicker than what I thought a shooting star to be and then thought that it was a meteor breaking through the atmosphere.

The streak of light disappeared behind the trees and a moment later a large rectangularly shaped patch of light appeared above us on our right (North-west). The vehicle we were traveling in was moving about 65-75 mph and the rectangular light was obscured by the roof of my car as I got close to it and it was directly on our right. It is then that 4 of my passengers witnessed a second large rectangular light appear next to the first and together they traveled over the highway behind us and disappeared behind more trees.

The lights were very bright white, so much so that they were almost bluish, and my back right passenger said he saw the two rectangular patches as having bulges in their centers, leading us to believe they were cylindrical in shape, like two cans of soup. The objects were pretty low in the sky and as far as we could tell close to us. There were six in the car.

The driver was the only one to see the 'shooting star' ahead of us on the left, and all but 1 of us saw the rectangles. The driver did not see the duo of rectangles or their movements behind the car. All six are seniors at Fairfield University and in good academic standing and have never seen anything like this before.

NOTE: About four miles north east of where we saw these lights is Sikorsky airfield, where they build and test airplanes and helicopters, so this may have been something from there, however the movements, shape and color lead us to believe otherwise. Small ufo fleet over Enfield CT. I was leaving SHAWS parking lot,heading in a western direction, at that moment i looked at the sky and saw six black sphere shaped objects changing direction from west to south,on a heading towards south. While these objects were changing there heading they were moving in closer formation.

Towards the end of this sighting the UFOS went off towards the southern horizon. End.

I saw 6 glowing orbs lining up in different formations witin a 2 hour period over Long Island Sound. On 10/11/08, at 7pm on a Saturday evening, I was relaxing at Seaside Park in Bridgeport, Ct. As I gazed out over Long Island sound, looking southeast toward Port Jefferson, NY, I noticed 6 bright lights hovering over the Port Jefferson area.

The lights resembled glowing orbs, and appeared to be about 500 feet above the horizon. These orbs were fading and then glowing, moving up and down, and from side to side. I watched for over 1 hour as the orbs lined up to change position to set up different formations.

After about 1+1/2 hours, 3 of the orbs faded and disappeared from view. The remaining 3 orbs formed a straight line, and then 1 more also faded from view. After about 20 minutes, the last 2 lights faded away as well, leaving a clear sky, and only the stars remained.

a string of four white lights, third one blinking white, appeared about 30 feet above me about 20 feet away from me in front of me my 13 year old daughter took our two mini dachsunds out to the bathroom at about 830 pm and came in about five minutes later to tell me she saw something weird in the trees. four lights with the third one blinking(white lights) in a straight line about 30 feet above the ground. they scared her but she watched them and they moved very very slowly to the right.

she came in to get me and by the time i got out there, they were gone.

three brightly lit arrow shaped objects observed in night sky It was around 9:00PM when I looked out of my window and noticed three rectangular or arrow shapes lit up in the sky. They remained completely stationary for about 10 or 15 minutes because I left and returned several times to check and see if they were still there, and they were. They appeared to be in the formation of a chevron.

the last time I went back to check they'd vanished. Very curious.

something niether me or my brother has seen before It was about 7:40PM and we were in my porch watching T.V. and my younger brother spotted something in the sky above the lake to what appeared to be something circular with a a bunch of lights and weird light figures around it.

It looked liked the brightest thing we have ever seen in the night sky. My older brother who is 28 years old said he saw something similar about 10 years ago. He also pointed out that if it was a plane we would have heard it and it didn't make any noise from what we tried to hear.

My younger brother tried to take a video of it with his cellphone and didn't get any image from it. I also want to point out that we couldn't see the reflection of it off the lake. Then when my brother tried to get closer to the lake and get a picture of it, it went from where we could see it to a farther distance in a matter of seconds.

Then it went to where we couldn't see it anymore.

Possible Hiperformance Spy Craft and Mother Ship While standing in front of my house stargazing I happened to witness at approximately 9:11pm what I thought was a satellite. In my neighborhood it is very dark with no city lights and on a clear night you can actually see the rim of the galaxy. The object in question was flying almost due north from south.

The Big Dipper is easily seen from my front yard, as is the North Star. I witnessed said object from about 10deg south of vertical until it disappeared behind some trees at about 35 deg north. The object gave off light (white in color) and it did not waiver other than to dim somewhat as it went further north.

As the object crossed straight overhead I saw what looked like an aircraft strobe suddenly appear right next to it (within 1deg of arc). Aside from the strobe I could not see a craft. The strobe was regular (I saw at least 5 strobes) which allowed me to connect the dots so to speak enough so that I would gauge the craft separated from the other craft on a vector of approx.

5deg. A strobe might be used to help locate an aircraft flying at night and at high altitude for collision avoidance. I find it interesting that a satellite would be tracking due north.

What makes more sense to me is that I witnessed a spy craft. If an American spy plane were to travel from the eastern seaboard it might fly over the North Pole to shorten the distance to say Russia or maybe Georgia.

An unknown bright stationary object in the sky over Stamford, CT On Sunday August 25th around 8:30-8:45 p.m. EST in Stamford, CT we noticed an unknown bright object in the sky.

The object was not moving. It was about the size of a plane, but not of the same shape, and was “hanging” at around the same height as that at which you would normally see planes. Judging by the location of the object in relation to our house, it looked like it may have been situated above Cove Island in Stamford or in that general direction.

It was difficult to decipher the actual shape, but all of us saw holes in this object through which the light was coming. There were 4 of us at home (our family) and every one of us saw it. It is now 9:40 p.

m. and we are still seeing it. My husband and son took a video of the object.

I think we have seen a UFO I was outside of my house with my dad and then we saw a red light come over the moutains across from my house.And then it got closer and it had no sound or anything.then as when it got higher up it disapeared then when we were going back inside it came out again and then all different types of planes were all over the sky not normail and it was bright.

It is night time and it was very weird.it was just like a bright red bulb floating in the sky.very weird now till this day my dad and i beleive in UFOS didnt have time to take pictures cuz it went by fast.

Me and my friend were walking north bound thru Goodwin park, and we both witnessed the same thing, large red circular object similar to the size of the sun in the sky. It was bright red. It was night time,I noticed the object first as it was comming down wards at about a 110 degree angle before it froze still and it hovered for few seconds, then the object traveled west bound at a extremely fast speed leaving a streak, it could of just been our eyes adjusting to the extreme speed it traveled at.

But once it moved it disappeared in like a second completely from view. We both looked at each other in disbelief but confirmed to see the same encounter.
