Great flying object when i saw this, it was weird. I mean the Saucers were floating in the air and had changed shapes and then it turned into a spikey round ball thing and all of the saucers flew away and thats all i could remember ((NUFORC Note: Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information. Green explosion/flash lighting up the whole sky for an instant similar color to the Alaskian northern light green My girlfriend and I were in the hot tub between 3 and 4am on Sunday December 28, 2008 when the event took place. It was very windy outside and I had just pointed out to my girlfriend to look at how hard the tops of the trees were swaying due to the wind and just as she looked up twards the top of the trees it there appeared to be an explosion/flash in the northeastern direction and was directly followed by the complete sky lighting up in a green flash. I could not see an object before or after the event.

It did appear that the flash caused the green lighting of the sky. Also it was the whole sky that lit up green not just a part of it or so it appeared that way. The event was extremely quick, a second or two at most.

This was the first time I have ever seen anything like this. I am very curious to find out if the account was witnessed by anyone else.

4 lights that seperated and spun around. seen 4 bright lights that followed us down the road then stayed outside our house for another 10 minutes after we got home. the lights would all come together and then spread out spin around 4 or 5 times and then join back together in the center then spread out again and spin over and over again the whole time.

dark, slow, still, red lights, on Shadeland Ave. where my aunt had seen UFO 3 years ago I was driving and I a looked up in the sky and I saw something shoot up like a shooting star.so I continued driving and I was at the light and I saw a disk like shape hovering in the sky.

It had red lights around it, blinking. When I looked back once again it was gone.I was in traffic so more than one person probaly saw it.

large, triangle shaped craft in the sky I was driving home and I noticed a strange object in the sky above the cornfield across from my neighborhood. It was moving very slow to the north towards Chicago. It was a triangle shape with bright red lights at each tip.

I pulled over to the side of the road to get a better look, and I could see distinctly a triangle shaped craft. I didn't hear any noises, so I know for sure this wasn't an airplane, and I have seen this object once before a couple months ago in the exact same area. This time, it was closer to the road.

I managed to get a couple pictures of it on my cell phone. After a minute or two, the object dissapeared in the sky. It was very scary, I'm still shaking!.

Triagular shapped objest with red lights moving fast, stopped, then disappeared I was driving to to a friends house on december 2nd of 2008. Something in the sky to my right caught my eye. It looked like either three lights or a triaglular shape i wasnt sure.

The lights were red and the object was moving very fast then it stopped abruptly. I parked my car on the side of the and grabbed my phone to take a pictures of it as i took out my phone it started to move again then it disappeared I couldn't believe what I saw. Then two days later I saw a similar object but the lights were green this object was moving extremely fast to fast to be a plane and like the other disappeared.

Two bright lights in the sky. I can't be certain of the exact time. My camera says 4:10 pm but I know that is not accurate.

My best guess is that it was around 7pm but could have been later. I walked out onto the front porch to plug in the Christmas lights and looked up at the moon when I noticed to very bright white lights to the left of the moon. They were brighter than the stars around them and looked like lights on airplanes as they approach the airport (which is near our house) or even like low flying helicopters.

The only difference is that they did not budge at all and they were not accompanied by the red and blue flashing lights that are visible on aircraft (especially on aircraft that are flying directly at you - which these would have had to have been because of the visibility of thier "headlights" - let me stress again that they did not seem to be moving at all). I called my seventeen year old daughter out to look at them and then called out my husband who stated that they were probably planets. The only problem with his theory is that they seemed to be very similar in brightness and size which doesn't bode well for the planet theory.

And frankly, they were just too bright. I've veiwed planets before while taking astronomy in college. My husband went back inside to watch tv and my daughter and I snapped a couple of pictures with my camera but gave up after feeling like we couldn't get a successful shot.

We went inside, reluctantly accepting my husband's planet theory. When I went back out several hours later to unplug the Christmas lights the "planets" were not visible anywhere in the night sky. Today I was watching a UFO show on television and decided to go ahead and report my sighting.

2 bright, stationary lights in the southwestern sky, one appears to be hovering over another We were driving home from dinner down State Road 24. We all noticed two bright objects in the southwestern sky. They were stationary in the sky, one was higher in the air than the other.

At first we thought they were helicopters hovering, but we decided they weren't. When we first noticed the objects they were very bright in the sky, but as we drove southwest toward them, they dimmed for a while and then became brighter again. We all thought it was a very odd sight.

Seven faint white lights in triangle shape (one light leading with 2 lights following and two lights again and two more lights that outlined the triangle shape) appeared to be one unit - not seven separate units that floated low and slowly and may have rippled from south west to north east.

There were three different objects, in three different directions. Jets seem to be closing in on two of them. Actually I have 3 sightings.

One, was in the western sky, very far away, about 9:00 high. It was rectangular in shape, and was a faint red. It was moving very slowly across the sky in a southerly direction.

After noticeing that one, I turned around, heading back to the house, when I noticed a very bright red light, flashing, in the eastern sky about 10:00 high, much closer than the one to the west. I also noticed a couple of planes fliing northbound in front of it. As I kept watching it, I noticed a couple of Air Force jets to the south of the object.

They seem to have been heading for the light. I ran in to get my camera, and when I came back out, the light had became very dim red. The planes were still in the area of the object.

I turned on the video recorder on my camera, and all I could see was a red ball- like object, moving around on the screen. I will send you a copy of what I recorded. As I turned to come in the house, I noticed another bright light to the south, coming in my direction, slowly.

I kept watching for a few seconds to see what it was, when I noticed another jet approaching that object also. Then, all the sudden, the object vanished. I am not crazy!! This happens around here all the time.

My fiance and I have several other witnesses to events we seen occur this past summer.

Two small craft with a sequence of red lights made an instantaeous 90 degree turn to follow a commercial aircraft. A clearly identifiable commercial aircraft was flying to the north east over the campus of the University of Southern Indiana. Two smaller craft of unidentifable shape but blinking with red and white lights were heading towards the north west.

They were flying in formation - one was closely following the other. Initially, I presumed they were military jets, but I could only hear the noise of one aircraft engine. When they reached the spot where they bisected the flight path of the commercial aircraft, both smaller craft immediately turned at a 90-degree angle and began following the commercial jet.

These smaller craft did not bank, as airplanes would do - they simply changed directions in an instant. Once they changed direction, they also changed color. Instead of blinking red and white, they were blinking red only.

Further, the location of the lights changed as well. Instead of appearing to be on either side of the craft, a series of red lights blinked in sequence as if along the side of a circular craft. At this point, two additional craft appeared; they were even smaller than the initial two and they blinked with only white lights.

They flew near the initial group for a few seconds, then they flew off rapidly in two different directions (one to the southwest, the other to the northeast). The commercial aircraft and its companions were ultimately lost to sight, continuing to head southeast.

The three bright objects seemed to be fading from dim to very bright for about fifteen minutes, just as we have seen before many times. My fiance and I saw a bright light in the southern sky, about 10:00 high, while driving south on U.S.

31 heading home. It appeared to be about 5 or 6 miles away from us. As we came up to the intersection of U.

S.26 and 31, a second object appeared to the left of the first. They were fading from bright to dim.

As we turned the corner and pulled into our drive, we observed the the first object get very bright, then vanish. Then a third object appeared just left of the second one. They were about 2 miles from us at this point.

They seem to have red and blue (or greenish) lights flashing when they became very bright. I watched them for about 10 minutes longer, fading in and out, then, they both vanished. There were clouds moving behind the ojects, so we know they were not stars.

We have witnessed these kind of events many times from our back yard. We know they are not Air Force jet flares, because, the night after, when we have reported these events, the jets are in the same area as we report, shooting off flares. There is no comparison to the events we have seen to the flares.

The following night, at approximately the same time, but closer to us, we witnessed the same event, except there were only two this time. The first showed up, fading in and out for about ten minutes, then the second showed up. I called my daughter, who said that one was over the top of her house.

Then she said it dissapeared. About the same time, the first light seemed to have moved to the west close to the horizon, then shot off to the north. After about ten minutes longer, the second object, just seemed to fade out, and was gone.

U/ V shaped gray object. Smaller sphere shaped object near it, no lights or sounds on either. We were heading south on the road, and saw a few people standing in their yard looking up at the sky, a couple houses down we noticed another family looking high in the sky with binoculars.

We looked up and saw what they were looking at as we pulled off the road. High in the Southern sky the left and above of the moon was a very clear u/v -shaped object. It appeared to be gray.

Below it a small distance was a smaller object, it was not as clear, it was more of a sphere shape but I cannot be sure on that. We did NOT see any lights or sounds. The v- shaped object was very high and small in the sky but still had a very distinct shape.

It didn't not move at all although my husband said he thought it might have been rotating horizontally. We watched for about 10 minutes with no change, This was at sunset; We scanned the sky to see if there were anymore around, after that we lost them. We did not see them fly away, they were just gone.

We have been trying to figure out if anyone else has reported this besides the people who were near us tonight. We have never seen a UFO and are no sure what to think about it or how to find out if there is any information about this sighting.

Nine glowing objects seen over my house in Anderson Indiana On Friday, October 31, 2008 late evening I was walking a friend to her car parked in my drive. We talked for about fifteen minutes then she brought to my attention a glowing light up in the sky. Her first comment was, " it looks like a helicopter".

I said no it is moving to fast. Then I noticed there was no noise and suggested it to be a falling star. As it went over my house we both thought it very unusual.

It came out of the sky from the southwest and was traveling to the northeast. We watched as it went out of sight. Then she through her hands up and pointed to another one.

The first five came in a steady stream. All at the same; altittude, direction and speed. At this time I went into the house and got my room-mate whom has been flying since he was fifteen and was a commercial pilot for over fifteen years.

Then another light appeared and soon after another. Then a moment later a third. The first two took a path a little off from the first five and the third cut to the north.

My room-mate commented they were a diamond shape. Then with a pause the final glow went through on the same path as the first five.

Bright, flashing object see overhead in Jeffersonville. The flashing object hovered in the sky and changed colors multi time. It was between 2:00am - 3:00am.

It was the only object that was flashing in the sky. All other stars were very dim. When it moved it appeared to move up.

We had never seen anything like this before. We did view with the binoculars and really got to see the different colors and shapes. We were unable to capture a picture.

a red light floated across the sky that looked like a bright red star, but flew like an airplane I am a 25 year old married female who has two kids and is going to school for a social work degree. I find astronomy very interesting and have been observing and studying the constellations in the night sky for about the past year. I even subscribe to an astronomy magazine so I am familiar with things in the night sky, but had never seen something like what I saw in the early morning of October 26.

I was with my husband and we had just parked out in the country to look at the constellations. We were facing east when I saw a red light, not blinking or leaving a tail, come up from the southern sky and head north. It looked like it was going in a straight line.

I could not tell if it was in the sky where plains fly or in outer space. It basically looked like a red star but moved across the sky like a plane. It took about 30 seconds for it to go across the sky.

There were actual planes flying around that night and this did not look like any plane I have seen. I know this was not a meteor because it did not have a tail and stayed in the sky longer than a meteor would. It did not have any other lights on it and I couldn’t tell what it was, I just know it was a red light that flew across the sky.

8 UFOs appear as silent orange fireballs in northeast Indianapolis IN I was on the north side of Indianapolis driving west on 86th street. At College Avenue, I saw 4 orange fiery lights in the sky. The lights were headed north/north east.

I turned north on College to follow the lights which were hard to track because of trees. I turned east on 91st street and pulled into an apartment complex to get out of the car and watch them as I called a friend to come to meet me. The sky was dark.

The UFO’s appeared as orange fireballs and moved in complete silence. The four fireballs were headed north/northeast toward U.S.

31. (We were about 80 miles south of Grissom A.F.

B.). As soon as the four U.

FO.’s were out of sight, I looked back and saw four more come from the same direction. They were not flying in formation, but all proceeded north/northeast.

A friend caught up with me in time to see the last U.F.O.

which is he said hovered and lowered and then took off fast enough to disappear before his eyes. I didn’t see the last U.F.

O. because a tree was blocking my view.

on 10/24/08 I observed 10-15 orange colored lighted objects floating or flying on the northeast side of Indianapolis. I am a police sergeant and while on duty on Friday (10/24/08) at approximately 22:20hrs., I observed about 10-15 amber colored lights floating or flying upwards.

I was parked in a downtown parking lot facing north when this occurred. I iniatially observed 3 lights spaced pretty equally apart, but at slightly different altitudes. Because of the downtown horizon I was unable to ascertain if they were coming up from the ground or just a slightly lower altitude.

These lights appeared to be coming from the northeast east quadrant of Marion County (about 10 miles away from me). After noticing and watching the first three lights, I observed 3 or 4 more about 20-30 seconds behind, ascending in the same manner as the first 3. I then observed approximatly 6-8 more of these objects floating or flying upwards from the same area.

After getting so high into the sky the objects disappeared. There was a cloud cover on this night, as we did have rainfall off and on. I am not sure if the lights or objects just burned out or I was unable to see due to the clouds.

The puzzeling thing was that the clouds were going from west to east, and these objects were floating upwards from east to the west, into the wind, but only at a very gradual change. Because these objects were going into the wind rather than with the wind, I quickly dismissed them as balloons of any kind but I could be wrong. I have never seen anything like this before but there could be a legitimate reason for them.

I am just curious what they were. I did watch the 6am newscast when I returned home from work and did not see any mention of the lights for legitimate or unknown purposes. I did email the Indianapolis Star to see if they knew what the lights were, but so far I have not received a response.

I also observed what appeared to be a commercial aircraft heading towards the lights, but the lights had cleared its path by time the aircraft arrived in the area. I would suspect there was a good possibility the aircraft pilots observed these lights as well. The aircraft was going from the west to the east ( I assume leaving Indpls.

Intn. Airport). Several hours later when I returned to that spot (where I sit until a run comes out) I did observe what is mistakenly called a "shooting star" in the area.

This one appearred to be closer and brighter then ones I have seen in the past, but this could just be coincidence. I just figured I would report it in case anyone else had seen it and no explanation could be found for the lights presence. I also attempted to take cellphone pics and video of objects, but on review you can not see them due to poor camera quality on cellphone.

UFO spotted flying from northwest to southeast in Indianapolis area skies at 22:00 on 10/23/08. My wife and I were sitting in our outdoor hot tub on the night of October 23, 2008. The sky was relatively clear.

A glowing circular shape drifted across the sky, leaving a light trail as it flew from the northeast to the southwest. The next day we were talking to friends in Boulder, Colorado, who saw the same exact object at the same exact time as we did.

I observed an object that was extremely bright and appeared to be close to the ground, as if it were an airplane heading to the nearby airport, while traveling eastbound on interstate highway 80/94, about a mile away from the Grant Street exit. The object that was observed piqued my interest, and I searched for other blinking lights that would give it away as either a helicopter or jumbo/private jet. These other lights were not found.

I told my passenger to check it out, to see if he could make out the object better than I could. Eventually even another passenger in the back seat witnessed the object, but could still not determine its origin, nor identify what it was, except for the fact that it was very bright. Shortly afterward, the object disappeared into a cloud, and as we all waited for it to emerge, the light shining through the aforementioned clouds dimmed and was suddenly extinguished.

Note: All observers are males age 21-25 with college-level educations and above-average intellects.
