150-200 ft long green lighted ufo in Indiana. in 2007 MY friend and I where taking our kids home traveling from Columbus, IN, to North Vernon, IN. it was pitch black cold with a little rain.

As we were driving I look out my Pass. window to my right and witnessed a long craft hovering approximately 300 yards above the trees. half a mile out from the road.

It was a long bright green light. bright enough that, with the rain i could not see what it was that was glowing or that the light was attached to. I alerted my friend driving to look she then witnessed this also.

after about 3 seconds the "ufo" shot in southern direction at a speed that confirmed what it must be, a ufo. it shot off so fast it was if you could see it shooting out of orbit and around the earth in a matter of seconds from a dead stop. what I saw changed my perspective because I cant deny what I saw in front of my face.

A 150-200 ft long ufo hovering then took off at a mind blowing speed.

November 2007 Sighting of Strange Object in Terre Haute Indiana This being the only time I've ever witnessed any unusual object in the sky, I was reluctant to report such. However, after seeing several videos online as well as interview clips on the History Channel, it is now my belief that I was one of many that witnessed this object or type of object. I had been outside in front of my house about five minutes when I had an urge to walk to the rear of my house.

I felt like "someone" was back there. When I came to the backside of my house I didn't see anyone standing around, but I immediately noticed what at first appeared to be "cop lights" just above the horizon approximately 3-5 miles away. At first the "cop lights" flashed randomly from red to blue but then I noticed green and then yellow flashing as well.

I went back inside to get a "monocular" to get a better look and also asked my girlfriend to come outside and take a look. As I viewed the object through the monocular, I noticed it randomly switched colors (red, blue, green, yellow) and also shapes. It first appeared like a diamond or two triangles with bottoms touching.

Then the object "went all white" and became much larger momentarily. After about 15 seconds, the object appeared to get very small or possibly move away from me. When the object was all white, it appeared more like an oval or sphere.

The object randomly shifted between colors, size and shapes the entire time I watched through the monocular or without the monocular. When I did use the monocular, I held it against the side of my house to ensure a steady view. The object appeared to go from complete stillness to "bouncy" and back.

Again, everything seemed to be random. My girlfriend seen exactly what I was seeing. whatever "that" was.

I myself was in the US Air Force and am certain it was not conventional aircraft of any sort that I have seen before, or since. One odd note I should add is the fact that my girlfriend has had several experiences all of her life in terms of seeing strange objects and "beings". She has had "geometric patterns" appear on her tongue that change in shape and appeared to be cut in to her tongue, only to vanish within a few days.

Not witnessed by myself, but several of her family members. She also has a strange "bump" just under the skin on her left calve. It's been checked by a doctor (now years ago) but was considered a "calcium anomaly".

With reports of "alien implants", I thought perhaps with everything she has experienced, perhaps there's more to it. More specific details of this experience are available upon request. ((NUFORC Note: Source of report indicates that date of the event is approximate.

passenger on jet,watched 30 minutes,looked like search light shining on town after town but no helicopter or source of light I was on an AA flight from Miami to Chicago. We were probably over Indiana. Out my window, I watched for a good 30 minutes what seemed like a spotlight/searchlight moving through town after town and forest after forest.

It was as though a helicopter was searching for something yet the light was not constant in a straight beam. It was a very bright light and easy to spot. The light would slither around like a snake through the trees, across the ground, coming in and out of view.

Or the light would make a circle—not a perfect circle but a disorganized shape, illuminating trees, buildings, bodies of water. When on water the light would spread out a lot, as one would expect. The size of the lit area would be about like the size of a football field or smaller.

At times the light seemed low, like it went through the trees and not on top of them. It would disappear for a few seconds then reappear a few miles later (over and over-I’d see it for 5 seconds, disappear 5 seconds, reappear.) It was going at approximately the same speed as our jet because I was able to watch it for 30 minutes.

It was not on the same course as our jet, for its location changed in relation to our jet’s path. But both our jet and the light were traveling generally north. I never saw a helicopter or any aircraft or any source of this spotlight.

I could NOT see a beam coming from the sky but just the light hitting the earth. The light had nothing to do with our jet. Once we turned west in our approach for landing, we headed in a different direction as this light source.

And then when our plane was over Lake Michigan (just before descent), our plane did not create any light below us on the water--verifying to me that our jet had no relationship to this light thing I saw. (Left Miami International at 7:45PM Eastern and landed at O'Hare at 9:50PM Central.) I am a 40 year old female, kindergarten teacher, married with 3 kids, and live in western suburbs of Chicago.

3 points of light that formed a kind of triangle that eventually became a straight line of lights. ll of a sudden, one of the lights left formation and zoomed north. It was out of sight within seconds.

Blacked-out, silent wing-shaped object flying at approximately 1500 feet/300 knots over Lake Michigan I was just leaving the police station where I work to resume patrolling. I work midnight shifts (5:30 pm to 5:30 am). I have never previously seen what I would consider a UFO.

NOTE: I do have extensive aircraft observation time, as when I was stationed in Iraq in 2005, my unit was positioned in a location very close to the airfield. The object came into my peripheral vision from the right. I was standing facing due-north.

At first I assumed it was a bird, but when I began visually observing it, it was obvious that it was wasn't, as it had a smooth, man-made appearance. Also, it was obvious that it was fairly far off and at a much higher altitude than one would expect to see a bird. This is especially true since in the region in which I live, during this time of the year there is little bird activity, especially at night.

The object appeared to be flying at an altitude of around 1500 feet and at an slightly oblique angle to me. It appeared not much smaller than a C130 at that altitude, but I could not make out a fuselage, etc., that one would expect to see on an aircraft.

The object moved rapidly, much faster than a helicopter - perhaps several hundred miles an hour. It appeared to bank to the left (north-west) as it passed in front of me. It was an extremely smooth banking turn and the full wing shape became quite visible at that time.

As it reached full bank (object perpendicular to the ground), I lost sight as it passed behind a building. Due to the my angle of observation, that's the last I saw of it. The object was gray in color.

It blended well with the cloudless night sky (especially as effected by urban light pollution). There were no visible markings. Intriguingly, the object made no sound.

At that distance, if it were an aircraft like a C130, one would have definitely heard the engine drone clearly. Also, there was no jet sound as one would expect to hear from a jet flying so close. I thought that, as in the case of an A-10, I might hear the sound after the craft had passed overhead.

I heard no sounds. The flight characteristics exhibited seemed to indicate it was an aircraft. But as previously stated, it lacked a fuselage, any markings and was completely blacked-out.

There were no lights of any kind visible. Furthermore, the object left no contrail. I am, as one might expect, fascinated by what I saw.

But I certainly cannot explain it. Though it exhibited some aircraft flight characteristics, I could not identify it as any aircraft I've ever seen (in person or through research).

Lights over Indiana or Ohio 10/12/2007 Fri, Oct 12, 2007 - Denver International (DEN) to Logan International (BOS) Flight United 0354 United Departs Denver International (DEN) 03:41 P M Arrives Logan International (BOS) 09:30 PM I was on this flight last Friday evening and approximately 20 minutes after flying over Chicago I watched some lights in the sky I could not explain. I estimated my location to be over either Indiana or Ohio. I was sitting on the left side of the plane, the sky was clear and we were traveling over what looked to be countryside with a spattering of small towns as indicated by lights from the towns and darkness in the countryside.

While looking out the window I saw 3 round lights down near the ground. We were at cruising altitude, over 30,000’ but I don’t know the exact altitude. The lights were low near the ground, and I would guess them to be a half mile above ground.

At first, I thought they were spotlights coming from the ground, but there was no beam coming up or source of the light. I then thought it must be light from above, like some type of aircraft shining lights down, but there were no other marked lights as a source of the lights above the lights, just the lights themselves. The lights were moving in a circular pattern and never stopped.

There were a maximum of three, and they would merge into one or two, and then split back into three. They did this nonstop while maintaining a rotating pattern I estimated to cover 20 miles. The lights did not appear to have any mass to them, just glowing disks of light.

They were not evenly illuminated, and never changed color, nor did they illuminate anything but themselves. I watched them the entire time the plane passed over them, and they never left the area. I watched until the plane was too far downrange for me to see them.

The passengers behind and in front of me had their blinds closed, so I didn’t say anything to them. Call after 6PM mtn time.

Strage object flying over Ohio River, very large and moving slow. On 10/06/07, my nephew and I were fishing in the Ohio River approximately 1 mile upstream of the Newburgh lock and dam. At about 6:30 pm I noticed what at 1st looked like a huge plane over the KY side of the river.

What was unusual was that it look like a plane with its wings tilted at approximately 30 degrees and coming directly at us. I asked my nephew if he saw this and he confirmed that he had been watching it for a while and wasn't sure what he was looking at either. We set there for 30 minutes or longer and watched this object fly east then change course and fly north-northeast.

For quite a while this object looked like it was flying toward us and tilted but then it began moving east. It had lights on both ends of it and we estimated it had to be very large, mabye a quarter mile from end to end. The lights on both ends blinked and were both red.

We thought that this was 2 planes at 1st, but it was definetely 1 object. At no time was any noise noted from the object, or any plane aircraft noises heard during the siting. This was a very weird object, flying at a very slow speed and I think that it was hovering when we thought it was coming directly at us.

Anyone with any info. on this would be appriciated.

daytime sighting I was in uptown Kokomo,IN about noon,and was watching two jets and their trails as they entersected. Me and a friend were commenting on how odd it is too see two jets cross paths like that and so on. Then I seen a white, round object very high in the sky,and told my friend to check it out.

It wasn't moving just staying in the same place,and "Hovering," I guess. So I went and told a few others to check it out. we were watching it for a couple minutes,and I noticed another one to the west,doing the same thing,both identical in color and size.

I went to get more people to see it,(cause I had no clue as to what it was,) And when I got back they were both gone. that fast. They were hard to see unless you just happen to be staring into the sky where they were.

red, green, and yellow flashing lights that don't move and keep flashing in southwest sky over Crown Point I was looking at Venus in the southwest sky at 8:10 this evening and noticed just below it a bit between Venus and the Treetops in the far distance flashing lights like a star or something. I got my binoculars and looked closely and it is stationary, bright flashing red, green and yellow lights flickering and not moving. I showed my son and my husband and they both see the same exact thing.

Planes go past it with their noticable lights flashing and this UFO just stays right in the same place not changing and continues to flash these colors as I write this message! Very strange! Its not moving up, down, right or left and is just below and to the right of the bright planet Venus. ((NUFORC Note: It is Jupiter in the southwest sky, at present. PD)).

craft moving about in the morning sky I stepped outside to get some air and I tooked into the night sky and saw an object in the Northeastern sky that wasn't supposed to be there. The light it gave off was kind of yellowish orange. Although it was still dark out, I did compare this light against some stationary objects and notice it was moving.

I watched it for awhile and it moved around. Abrupt turns to the left, then the right, then it moved quickly only to bunny hop so to speak. I attempted to video the object, but my cell phone was unable to find it in the sky.

It was shaped like a thin razor. It was 1000 x 800 vertical rectangle. A black grayish flat shaped object, not moving, about 1000-2000 feet up in the sky.

It disappeared without movement, right in front of my eyes. A half hour later a co worker asked me if I saw strange object in sky. She described it, the same way I did.

Long red line with blinking red lights, that flew straight up into the stars out of site. Object was a long red line with red lights blinking on and off. Object was off in the distance at a very low speed sort of cruising.

Orange fireball in western sky At approximately 8:15 pm on September 15, 2007 southwest Indiana. My daughter and I saw a large orange fireball low in the western sky. Seemed to be near a cell tower, and the ball was so bright that you could not see the tower light until the ball was gone.

Stayed in one spot for several seconds then slowly faded until gone. A few minutes later it reappeared, much lower and to the east. Looked almost like it had changed shape.

Again, the ball faded until gone. But, before it disappeared, there was a bright flash of light over the cornfield, much like someone had taken a flash photo. We have a video, but of course, it’s not very good.

Orange/red fireballs over Indianapolis. I walked outside to check the bbq grill around 9:15-9:20 as i checked the grill i looked up into the clear night and just north of the indianapolis airport and i saw 5 orange/red fireballs in a straight line coming from the east heading west and as they got just past the airport and it turned due south and went approx. 1 mile and faded out.

It also was totally silent as they floated through the dark sky and was very close to the ground.

strange sounds fishing on banks of ohio river several miles east of dam when noise that grew louder until sounded like on top of us .noise sounded like jet engine at times and also like computer noise(dial up chatter)at times.varied in pitch from barely audible to painful and direction was from one side to another on top of us and then seemed to come from the water.

lasted several minutes then moved to the east.no boats or barges in sight or aircraft.was traumatic in a way and scary.

been outdoorsman all my life,also a sailor on a aircraft carrier and never heard anything like this.i do believe that it was a u.f.

o but could not see anything.when sound was on top of us it seemed to be only feet away and raised goosebumps and seemed to charge the air around us.very strange and we will neverforget this.

something very strange.also seemed to be a slight vibration in the air around us.

he ciggarete that changed a mans life I was walking outside to smoke a ciggarete when i saw a light flash ,very dim but still much of a flash and then and disc lik object appeared and flew directly over my house when it slowly faded, i walked out to my street when it had hidden itself from my vision as i was walking it flew close then started some what landing then i tried to run back to my house when it felt as a massive brush of wind hit me from behind and i felll then in pain i got up and as i saw tyhe craft i swear started to open and when i turned around my house was gone no traces it was just gone and as i turned around i felt light then when i looked down i was flying toward the craft and i went inside and then evrything since then was blank and when i woke up i was in my front dtep and my hand was scared with this vey odd symbol wich quickly faded i still hav no memory of when i was inside the craft but i truly hope that who i right this to can help me figure out what happened that night ((NUFORC Note: Witness indicates that the date of the incident is approximate. As big as a large house with 2 car garage attached and kinda shaped like that 500 feet over my head. Something I am having a hard time explaining flew right over my head what seemed like no more than 500 feet up at Washington Elementary School at about 1:45am. as big as a large house with 2 car garage attached and kinda shaped like that.

At about 1am I went up to the darkened school yard alone to see if maybe I could catch a few early annual Perseid meteors shooting across from the North sky. I was disappointed to notice the installation of new security lights in my favorite urban astronomy field, which actually do nothing but cause light pollution and burn energy. so I decided to lay in the middle of some playground equipment where the shadows would cover me and give me a much darker if slightly more limited view of the sky.

I was laying with my head to the west and feet to the east so the meteors would appear to my left and fly to the right. It was a slow show, but a pretty clear night. I could barely make out the faint glow of the Milky Way.

I saw about 5 bright Perseids over the course of approximately 45 minutes, when something enormous and low appeared directly in front and above me to the East-southeast. When I say enormous I mean it seemed like a large house with 2 car attached garage was flying over my head. As soon as my eyes flicked to it, It was directly over me.

Although it was dark with no Moon, the craft was darker, like it absorbed light. Its hard to explain the shape. Like 5 or 6 or 7 black square boxes connected oddly, sort of like a 3 box rectangle with 2 other box protrusions on either side 1 front and 1 back, with a large orange circle in the center of each square 2/3rds the square size.

The orange glow did not seem to be lights, but more like very hot orange glowing metal. There were no running lights what so ever. I got the impression it was much larger than I could actually see, and was not supposed to be able to see it, but the orange heat glow lit up just a small portion of the bottom of the craft which is all I really saw.

Although the square and circles were symmetrical, the boxes seemed to be put together in an odd shape. I came home and drew it and painted it but I cant get it to look exactly like what I saw but you can at least get an idea. This craft did not seem aerodynamic in any way, yet it was flying super fast, Lear jet fast, although flying is the wrong word.

More like it moved like a waterbug across the surface of water, or dragonfly like. kinda skiddering diagonally sideways. It passed directly over me and shot off West Northwest.

As it passed I flipped over on my stomach and elbows to get a better view and t disappeared over some trees that fast. The whole event lasted less than 30 seconds. Not a single sound came from it.

The crickets kept on chirping. There was no wind. It was very calm.

An odd thing seemed that maybe it was moving slowly or standing still until my eyes flicked to it, and it shot off straight over me. I do not know if it was watching me or was it just moving over when it saw me an decided to take off? I was kinda hidden by some steel playground equipment. I have seen strange things in the sky before, but nothing even remotely close to this.

I know what satellites look like. I know what the ISS space station looks like. I know what comets and asteroids and meteors look like.

I own a 6" Newtonian reflector telescope. I have been to military air shows before. I know what planes and helicopters and blimps are capable of.

Although I have never seen swamp gas ignite I am pretty sure this was not that either! I saw what I saw. As to who was driving that remains to be seen! I have another sighting posted on here where I saw 3 black V triangles in the same schoolyard, which happened 11 years ago. I would like to add that looking back I think the sightings are connected, and from pictures I have seen I think they are the same type of craft that was over Phoenix Arizona in 1996 the same year, but in my case they were much much higher and therefore smaller.

And there were 3 of them. Just my speculation but it seems to me as if these lights/boxes can move together like an F-16 wings retract and expand for higher speeds, but not for the same reasons. They move from V to more wide mouthed U and boomerang shapes, and now I think they can form any shape, maybe even come apart and move freely and then rejoin at different angles.

Bright flash lights up entire night sky, with two orange streaks and white circle moving away from earth. I was in my drive way talking to my Dad and two younger brothers. They were inside my Dad's pickup.

A bright white light lit up the entire sky like lightning, but there were no clouds. I looked up and just to my left of the Big Dipper there were two bright orange streaks of light connected to a white circle with what appeared to be "ripples" (as best I can describe it). I reached for my camera phone to take a picture, but within a matter of seconds the two bright streaks disappeared, from nearest the ground to the circle.

The circle disappeared when the streaks did. I've seen many, many meteors, and this was not a meteor. I've never seen anything like this before.

On August 10, 2007, at 12:20 AM, my Grandson and I where coming home from seeing a Spiderman movie. We where on Madison Ave heading north. My Grandson and I notice what we thought was a helicopter flying low at the intersection of Stop 11 and Madison Ave.

I told my Grandson that it was flying to low, and maybe it was a police helicopter looking for some one. As I drove closer I notice one yellow and two white lights at which the white lights where going on and off. The yellow light stayed on.

As we got closer we could tell it was not a helicopter, and it was hovering above Stop 11 and Madison Ave. I pulled into Egg Roll King Restaurant and stop my car to take a look, my Grandson got out of the car, I stay in the car. It wasn't a plane or helicopter.

Both of us could see the bottom clearly. The bottom looked like a triangle shape, I could see metal beams two on each side of the triangle. I could not see the top, cause we where underneath the object.

The only lights we seen where on the bottom of the triangle. The white lights we going off intermittently as the yellow stayed on. I could see the outline above the triangle of the object.

It appeared to be somewhat oval shaped, and what I mean by that there where two spots where it protruded out and it equal in shape, opposite each other. The color of the object was metallic, the triangle beams where of a black color. We watched this object from one 1-2 minutes, then it started to move to the south slowly, then to the west.

We got back into the car and followed it for about half and hour, it want faster then higher and higher then disappeared. I never in my whole life seen anything like it. There also was no sound coming from it.

Light grey colored cylinder moving slowly upwards as it crossed the sky. Light Grey cylinder going slowly across the sky. It appeared about the same height as an airplane (we live approx.

20 miles from Baer Field Airport). I watched it going across the sky for maybe 30 - 40 seconds? I then tried to take a picture with my cell phone. It was getting ready to go into the clouds when I decided I needed to get a picture fast.

I stopped the car, opened the moon roof, and stuck my phone into the air and took the picture. Either it went away instantly or went behind the clouds, but it’s not on my phone. It was a clear sky and there were white clouds, I saw it clear it perfectly.

My background (as the observer) I have a full time job, raising children, have a husband. Have never reported or saw any thing prior. I was coming home from work.

I was not drinking and i do not do drugs.
