Indiana UFO Sightings in 1993

Two eggshaped objects hovered in the sky then speed away. I read the accounts of the gentlemen from Kansas and Florida and their stories were so similar to what I had seen I felt I should tell my story. At the time I lived in Albion, Indiana and was driving over to my girlfriend's home who lived outside of LaGrange to make christmas candy.

I worked with her in a factory in LaGrange for several years. It was just before Thanksgiving. I had to drive through Rome City on St.

Rd 9 going north. Just before you enter the town you are on a hill and it declines as you drive into it. There is a perfect view of the horizon.

I have no idea what caused me to even notice what I saw but all I know is I have never mentioned it before only to a few close relatives. I saw a metalic, silverish eggshaped object in the western astmosphere, it hovered there and didn't move. Since I was driving I tried very hard to figured out what I was seeing and to watch the road.

It was a great distance from the ground and I couldn't even begin to say how far. Since I had a perfect view from east to west I saw another object that was identical in the east. Suddenly the object in the east moved at a very high rate of speed and joined the object in the west.

There was no trail of vapor that comes from planes,no sound, nothing. It shot across like a laser beam to the other. But it left no trail of any kind and I know from the speed it was not a plane.

Both objects then hovered together in the west and them they just took off westward and were gone! All this happened quickly and it shook me up so much that I almost stopped at the police sttion in Rome City to report what I saw and to this day I regret not doing so. I saw something that I can't explain. I have never seen anything move so quickly or looked liked these objects.

Driving home from work one evening late around 2am on hwy 44 evansville indiana I noticed in the night sky a strange light. It looked so out of place that I kept my eye on it as I drove towards it down the highway. It was about 5 miles away from me moving very slowly.

I turned onto I 65 towards my home which would cross the path of this light.I was looking everywhere up in the sky for it until it came into full view crossing the road infront of me. It was gliding along treeline height.

I was amaized but also not afraid for some reason and I flashed my lights on and off at it. Iwatched the triangular shaped object floated noiseless over the road before my car. I then pulled into a church parking lot and got out to watch it float maybe 15 feet over the treeline.

It had 3 white lights on the triangle points and one larger one in the middle. It was smokey black and did not seem to be reflecting the streetlights from the church parking lot. NO sound came from this object.

It flew towards Evansville north side. After 4 or 5 minutes I could not see it anymore because it was creeping over the trees. I have never seen a UFO since but have had 3 other strange experiences which I feel are UFO related.

Light in sky changed colors from green to red to white constantly: appeared after midnight for ~1 month (Star?) While outside in font yard looking for meteor shower, observed star-sized light WNW of my location 40 degrees above horizon. Binoculars were of no help.

Over next several nights, saw same thing in same position in sky. However, the object would only appear after midnight. If I would go out at 11 or 11:30, I wouldn't see it.

This is the only thing that seems odd to me. I'm sure it was a star or planet, but it makes me wonder.

ufo sighted just north of muncie,indiana On a warm, clear, summer evening, I was driving home. I lived in a house about 2 miles outside of the town of Muncie,Indiana. 80,000 people.

I was passing the municiple airport, and saw an object hovering, only 20 feet above a 1 story house, which sat right next to a large subdivision of about 400 homes. Object was less than 1 mile from airport. I drove towards it, in my truck.

When I got within 500 feet, I turned my lights off and drove, staring at this object. I came within 300 feet when I realized it made absolutely no sound. It rose about 30 feet, then took off towards the northwest sky and dissapeared in seconds.

All without a sound. Object had three lights on the bottom. Red,green,blue.

Thought it was a chopper at first. But why hover silenlty, 20 feet over a house, and then take off from a dead stop, to out of sight in 3 seconds? Sonic booms are common in this area, but this was silent.

I was driving home heading north on hwy 145 when i noticed 3 lights in the sky. They were flying fairly low and would go north to south first,then east to west. Idrove for another four miles to my home and the lights were still in the sky.

They were flying as if they were searching for something,but as i stood in the back yard they started to fly not from north,south then east,west but in a large circular area.As they flew in this pattern i noticed they were regular aircraft but had two bright white lights on them like headlights. By now my mother had gotten out of bed to see why i had not came inside.

as she was leaning out the back door i showed her what i was watching. Then out of nowhere came this huge object. It was approx.

300ft. wide and 175-200ft. long.

It was completely dark, no lights,or sound,and was flying very low' around 250ft. It headed north rather slowly and i could hear the air coming off of it .As it went to the north it then slowly turned to the east and drifted out of sight.

Then the other aircraft took off in the same direction. I wanted to see if i could spot it again but it had shaken my mother to the point she wanted me to come inside.I have never seen anything like it since and will never forget it.

OBJECT RESEMBLING STAR MOVED IN TRIANGULAR PATTERN THEN VANISHED TIME AND DATE ARE NOT EXACT. A FRIEND NAMED TONY AND I WENT OUTSIDE TO GET SOME FRESH AIR AT A PARTY. aLCHOL WAS INVOLVED BUT NOT A FACTOR.

WE LEANED AGAINST A CAR AND BEGAN LOOKING AT THE STARS WHEN WE BOTH NOTICED A STAR MOVE. tHE STAR LOOKED LIKE ANY OTHER STAR EXCEPT IT WOULD FLASH RED MOVE FLASH BLUE AND STOP. I COULD BE WRONG ABOUT IT FLASHING RED AND MOVING AND FLASHING BLUE AND STOPPING IT COULD HAVE BEEN THE OPPOSITE IT WAS ALONG TIME AGO.

tHE OBJECT MOVED IN A TRIANGULAR PATTERN. wE OBSERVED THIS FOR TEN TO FIFTEEN MINUTES. WE CONCLUDEDED IT TO BE A UFO.

I SAID WE HAVE TO GET EVERYONE OUT HERE TO SEE THIS OR THEY WILL NOT BELIEVE US. i RAN INSIDE AND AFTER A MINUTE OF TRYING TO CONVINCE EVERYONE THAT THEY NEEDED TO SEE THIS WE ALL HEADED OUT. WHEN I GOT OUTSIDE MY FRIEND TONY SAID ITS GONE I SAID WHAT DO YOU MEAN GONE HE REPLIED ITS GONE VANISHED .

OF COURSE NO ONE BELIEVED US. THE OBJECT WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE SKY AND COULD NOT HAVE GONE OUT OF LINE OF SIGHT. AND TONY WAS INSTRUCTED TO NOT LOOSE SIGHT OF IT.

two craft cicled one another for a short while, then stopped, and rapidly ascended upward out of view. Myself and three friends were outside playing basketball late one night. I stopped playing for a while and rested on the lawn.

As I was laying on my back, I noticed a bright circular/oval shape hovering back and forth over the area. It was about the size of a nickle hald at arms length; about as high as a helicopter might fly. As I called my friends over to watch, another craft appeared.

They (the craft) flew overhead and circled one another for about two or three minutes, then stopped momentarily, and shot skyward at a very high speed. The objects were, as I said, circular and had a bright, but not illuminating, light cast from them.They did not move too quickly before dissapearing.

Maybe at a rate of 40 to 45 mph (est.).

A black van asked me and the other witness if we wanted a ride. We then saw a large object lift off and explode into light I am a life-long experiencer of ufo, sleep paralysis, psychic phenomenon. My most incredible sighting happened in 1993, while I was walking with my aunt.

We were walking at night in her neighborhood, when a black van pulled up beside us. A man, who I could not clearly see, asked us if we "wanted a ride". We quickly said no.

As we walked on abit, and rounded a corner. We walked in front of her apartment complex, Greentree Apts. Now, across the street, there is a radio station, and a large field behind it where, often is used as a small fairground.

My aunt and I were speaking about nothing in particular, when all off a sudden she said, "what is that light over there?" I looked out of the corner of my eye, at somethingt that seemed to be coming up from the field. I said, "oh, that is a helicopter." "But," she replied, "it isn't making any noise.

" I quickly realised she was right, and we both suddenly stopped and watched as a dark object with very bright lights at both ends and an occasional lightening flash on top rose, silently, from the field behind the radio station. It went quickly, at a sixty degree angle or arc, until we could almost see under it. Then it exploded into a red flash, and was gone quicker than anything I had ever seen.

We were aghast for several minutes. Now, that is the most incredible thing I have ever seen in the night sky. Since then, I have had many more experiences, discovered spiritualism, and began writing and channeling an entity I call Zem.

Recently, i had a sighting on a country road with a member of the psychic development group that I had in college, and, again, there was a BLACK VAN driving toward the object down the road (it seemed to have come out of nowhere), as we drove away from the object (which was a cery bright, flickering object). What I suppose I am most curious about is, actually, what the black van has to do with these objects, and has anyone ever reported it? If so, I would like to know about it. The most amazing thing i have ever seen in my life Hi everyone ! I just wanted to tell everyone about the sighting our family had , I believe it was in 1993 . It was in the summer , the time was 9 or 10 pm , I believe the month was july . We was watching tv and all of a sudden the door came open , it was my brother , he said there was a ufo ! I thought yeah i bet .

We all got up and went out side , there was a very big and very bright green ball moving across the sky from east to west , at times a red glow was under the object , and little red objects would move out from the bottom of this red glowing corona . The sighting didn't last very long as we watched the ufo go behind the trees in the west and as it went behind the trees , we were all watching the skies and all of a sudden a very bright green light shot up from the ground into the air , the light was in the shape of a V , I have never seen anything like this in my life , it was a very bright green and in the shape of a perfect V , and the green light slowly faded away . We were all so amazed at what we had just seen , and were trying to figure out what it could have been , we talked for a minute or so and my mom went it to the house and we went in with her , she got on the phone to call my dad and tell him what we had just seen , she tried dialing the number where he works and a voice came on the line and said (this is an international operator and your call did not go through , and the line went dead, in a few minutes the tone came back , so she tried it again , and the very same thing happened again, she would keep trying , and the same thing would happen , in hour or so the phone started working normal again , We thought we had seen the ufo crash so we got in the car and started driving toward the direction of the bright green flash , we looked for hours but didn't find anything , so we all went home and went to bed , the kids were a bit scared , but in time all went to sleep.

That is my UFO encounter in the summer of 1993 . I am posting this because it was one of the most a! mazing thing i have ever seen in my life , and also to ask others out there if they might have seen the UFO . If you did please let me know .

1993 Diamond Shaped Outside of Seymour, IN, near Rockford, IN. In the summer of 1993 me and two friends witnessed a diamond shaped UFO. Matt was driving, Joe was in the front seat and I (Jason) was in the backseat of the Chevette.

Matt was taking me home so we had to drive through Rockford. It was evening and we weren’t on DST back then. It was about 9:30pm-10:30pm when this occurred.

Basically I was in the middle of telling them about some orange glowing balls I had, at the time, saw for the last few weeks before when this occurred, which really was strange timing, but unrelated. We were rounding the curve just outside of Rockford when I noticed a bright light just over Madden Hill. I convinced Matt to stop the car just about 300-400 feet (maybe more) from the curve.

We watched in awe as the light turned into two lights, and then three.and then we all got out of the car. It was amazing because it wasn’t like the lights I had seen previously.

The lights slowly kept multiplying, at the time we didn’t realize it was the object moving toward us, and the shape of the object became apparent as a diamond. There was moon light that night and I remember other cars pulling over to watch too. The object didn’t make a sound.

It had eight lights on it and the lights were staggered evenly. The tip of the object had a light and the rear tip did too. The other lights were on the edges and seemed to be placed halfway between the center points of the diamond shape.

The object was very black and contrasted against the deep glowing blue sky. It flew parallel with old highway 11 and continued on toward town. We all watched it until it couldn’t be seen anymore.

At the time I couldn’t believe how close it seemed, but looking back it must have been really big because of how much of the sky it actually blocked out and how far we watched it travel. I would really like to connect with anybody else that stopped and watched it that evening. There were at least 6 other cars that pulled over and watched.

I know there was a red and white truck that was about 100 foot from us pointing in the opposite direction that had stopped and the people got out and watched. ((NUFORC Note: Witness indicates that the date is approximate. PD)).

A rotating, soundless object followed me home from boy scouts. I am unsure of the exact date but I know that it was my fourth grade year of school in the spring. I was walking home from Boy Scouts on a monday night when I saw an object above me.

It was about fifty feet over the tree tops. For about three blocks the object was slightly behind me. As I turned right onto my street the object did not follow any longer.

No one except for me was on the street. I then ran into my house. Watching TV in my sun room I saw it again outside of the windows.

Then later, I went upstairs to my room to go to sleep. I felt that something was outside so I pulled back my curtins. The same object as before was about fifty feet above my neighbor's house across the street.

I then remember going to sleep. The next day at school I asked the class if they had seen anything weird the night before. A couple of people said that they had seen a strange object.
