multicolored lights hover and fly over evanston,wy i had got off work and notied a ball in the sky over twin ridges over the micro wave towers at first i thought it was venus but it changed altitude and started flashing blue,green,red,yellow,and white lights like one of those mirrored disco balls.i thought maybe the cold air was causing an optical distortion so i got out my 12X monocular it seemed to be faceted with a dark shape underneth it .i watched it for about 15 min then went home.

later a friend came over ,we went out side to see if it was still there. it was,this time with two smaller multi colored objects that appeared to fly back and forth between it and the new power wind mills east of town.i work up by the air port west by n/w of town,i live s/e of there and east of twinn ridges so i had a 90 deg view and a 200' difference in altitude .

i was an aircrewman in the marines,a trained arial observer. ((NUFORC Note: Probably a celestial body, we suspect. PD)).

The object was a sphere emitting red and green lights. The lights would get brite then dim. The object did not move for 45 minutes or so then when we went back (about an hour later) to check it with the binoculars it had moved north to the horizon.

An orange object viewed intermmitantly in the night sky heading east at a relatively slow speed. The object that was observed appeared to be moving in an easterly direction. When I first observed this, it was glowing orange with a very short tail behind it.

The object then had smaller glowing pieces coming off of it. This lasted for approx-imately three seconds. The glowing object then went out and reappeared for 2 seconds.

It seemed odd because of the slow speed that it was moving at. If I had to guess on the speed of the object, I would say less than 5000 mph. ((NUFORC Note: Witness indicates that the date in December 2005 is approximate.

Re-entering space debris usually is visible for more than just a few seconds. PD)).

I saw a white light flash out of my drivers window at about 35 degrees to my left in the night sky, like a beam of light. I was just traveling between Fort Collins, Colorado and Laramie, Wyoming on US highway 287 and I saw a white light flash out of my drivers window at about 35 degrees in the night sky. It was a quick flash and that was it.

It did seem to be a beem of light. After the flash I looked in that direction but I did not see anything else unusual. I was driving my truck and was the only one in the vehicle.

There was on car that passed me as this happened and there was another vehicle behind me probably 1-1/2 to 2 miles. I was in Wyoming when this happened.

Glowing object crosses road right to left - vanishes into ravine.than crosses again left to right.then away.

Driving alone at night with another vehicle about 100 - 150 yrds ahead of me. An object apx half the size of my mini van shot across the road just behind the vehicle in front of me going from right to left. It seemed to zip down into the bar ditch.

I slowed down to about 15mph from 55mph. At first I thought it was a white van that had gone off the road or something as I was not sure what I was seeing at first. As I got closer, say another 50 yards or so the light/sphere appeared again coming up out of the ravine along the left side of the road and crossed the road again.

The speed at which it moved was amazing. I can only say that it zipped and darted. Those words describe the action of the object.

It shot into the field on the right side of the road and then accelerated so quickly that it literally vanished. It took off at about a 45' angle to the south. This all took place with in the space of about 30 seconds.

maybe faster. I am not sure that anyone else saw the object, there where about 3 vehicles behind me the closest being apx 100 yrds. I had pulled over to the side and decelerated when I first saw the object cross over the road.

The object gave off enough light that it lit up the ground under it in about a 50 yrd radius. This was more apparent as it entered the field and took off than when it crossed the road. The entire object glowed white/blueish light.

There was no sound that I could hear coming from it.

Interstate 80, westbound, Wyoming, flying object seen by police officer and family I am a police officer in the state if Illinois. My family were on a road trip to Utah in September of 2005. On Interstate 80 in Wyoming, driving through miles of farm or pasture lands, on the 27th or 28th in the late afternoon, I noticed jet streams from aircraft at extremely high altitudes.

This is normal and did not concern me. But as I looked occasionally due to bordom of the drive, I slammed on my brakes due to a fear that "something" may have fallen off one of these air planes and was about to hit the roadway. As I kept my focus on the object, I drove very slowly, realizing that it was not falling.

I guestimate the object was approximatly 300-600 yds above ground. It was almost directly overhead. It was difficult to make out shape due to what I first believed was a very strong reflection of sunlight comming off the matalic surface of the object.

It had a compact form, and I believe it to be a spherical shaped object. It did not have wings, strobes, lights, or propellers. It was still day light.

My wife asked why it was so brite. I told her it might be a weather baloon and it was reflected sunlight. My wife said,"No! We're driving west, the sun is over there (in the direction of our travel), it can't be reflecting the sun.

" I became nervous at the relization that she was correct. Then the object turned dark. This was as strange as the brightness.

It did not just turn off the light, it became a black sphere in the sky floating above our car. Then it took off. I have never seen anything move that fast in my life.

It traveled west and was no longer visible within seconds. As we calmed our children down we tried to rationalize what we had seen. About 5-10 minutes later, my wife yells "there it is.

" Just as before, above us, slightly in front, extremly close. Again, it turned black, and took off. I took the next exit and waited.

Hoping (sort of) that it would appear again (may possibly be three seperate objects, or same one that "circled back" with out us seeing it). As my wife looked for the camera, it did appear again, but this time it turned to black much faster and, again, took off in the same direction. Based on size above our heads, and when it visually was no longer visible as it travelled, I guestimate it travelled over at least 100 miles within seconds.

I like to look at this web-cam at the Grand Tetons about a couple of times a week because I think the Tetons are the most beautiful mountains in the US. Anyway, this morning when I went to the webcam I saw this thing in the top left corner. I saved it and am sending it to you.

I tried to zoom in without much luck. The reason I think it may be something other than a regular aircraft is because usually when I am viewing the webcam and a regular aircraft is in the view, you can tell what it is. This I'm not sure of and thought I'd send it to you to see if you can tell.

Shimmering light ,similar to northern lights, accompanied by spotlights moving fast in Wyoming While driving Southbound on Hwy 287 at 3:34 a.m. in early August 2005 I saw what seemed to be the Aurora Borealis to my left (East).

Thinking it odd that the northern lights would be in the east-- during the summer-- I pulled off the road, turned off my headlights and rolled down my car window. I observed a shimmering light that was behind some low cloud cover. The shimmering was similar to the way sunlight filters through clouds in distinct rays-- or sun rays at sunset when they are distinct and moving.

The light shimmered from right to left and another layer from left to right simultaneously. Then, what looked like a search-light moved across the clouds from right to left,hesitated, jerked back, went above the clouds, moved from left to right above, and then repeated the movement under the clouds. I could not discern whether the light was touching the ground or just the clouds.

I listened for aircraft but only heard insects. I then continued driving south on 287-- stopping occasionally to attempt to understand what I was seeing. Although I was moving fast, the lights were still on my left as if they had also moved at 80 mph.

I stopped, looked, and they came closer. I thought maybe there was a search for a missing person and they might think my turned off headlights were suspicious. Then there were two searchlights in front of the shimmering background.

Then there were three and one came close enough to me that I could see the source of the light better. It was round. (sorry).

I became really frightened and confused by it all and sped into town. The next day I traveled 287 northbound along the same stretch. I looked for evidence of three towers, an airport, something, but there was neither a road nor electric access in the area.

I'm not a ufo ish person but I had my finger on a speed dial to my family just in case. Does anyone know what that was? ,p h Location: Between 60 miles north of Medicine Bow and 15 miles north of M B WY Date: August 7, 2005, Sunday morning at 3:34 a. m.

2 lights I thought were satellites running side by side when one jumped out in front of the other and went much faster I'm 53 at 04:20 clear skies, I saw 2 lights running parallel at the same speed to each other about a moons widths apart one brighter than the other heading from North to South 180 degrees due South. When suddenly the dim one jumped in front of the other and both were in line one following the other and went much faster than the bright one. This was not 2 satellites one crossing in front of the other in a X pattern, from running side by side to out front took about 30 seconds.

I watched this till I could no longer see the dim one.

A CD case like craft hovered for 20 minutes over mountian line. I was just walking home from the mall along Wyoming Blvd when I stopped to tie my shoe, I set my things down quickly tied my shoe and stood back up, while getting up I tilted my head up and saw what looked like a chrome bumper floating in the air about around the altitude of the mountians. it was kind of easy to miss, the craft didnt apear to move for sometimeand stayed that way for a while.

Theres a mini-mart along that road were I used a payphone to call a friend to ask if he was seeing what I saw, He lives on Fairdale Ave nearly two or so miles from my location he went outside and saw the same thing I asked him to describe it and and got the same thing,only he said it was solid black. Luckily there were two police officers at the store at the time. I quickly asked both of them if they too say the craft.

Both saw it, one even took out some binoculars. We all looked and when I did I could tell then that the craft seemed almost compressed and square like a CD case. After a few more minuets the craft started traveling westward finaly turning south and disapeared over the mountians.

At 6:45 ((p.m.)) a silver light object came into view N.

of Cheyenne, WY.It had no vapor trail moving at jet speed,but turning on a dime. The craft was white light shaped oval .

It moved southeast looking like a plane ,I thought it was a jet liner.We went into the house to get some coffee and when we came back out we looked north in the sky and it wasflying toward us ,with no vapor trail. The craft shone like a star in broad daylihgt and turned around heading north and disapeared from our view.

It was stunning! My friends who watched with me,had a few minutes earlier saw six crafts come together and form a cross. Four of these were silver light, two were red.After forming the cross they dispearsed and flew out of sight.

It was a few minutes later we all saw the one I desribed above. My sighting took place at 6:45 May 19th.

Bright object observed and photographed I was laid back on a park bench when I noticed a jet to my left. I watched the jet for a few seconds then noticed a bright point of light near the jet. I sat up then stood up and watched the object, then I began taking photos.

The object moved north to south in a slight arc, maintaining it's brightness throughout, from about a ten o'clock position to about a two o'clock position. When I juxtiposed the object with the point of a tree branch, I noticed that it wobbled slightly and had a slightly meandering course. I turned away to notify two passers-by of the object, about two seconds, looked back and it was gone.

About a minute into the sighting I brought the object to the attention of a passerby who watched it with me for a few seconds, commented that we needed binoculars, then proceeded up the pathway. Later upon his return I offered to exchange contact info with him that he may corroborate this sighting and he refused. His opinion was that it was a mylar weather ballon.

I have approximately ten photos of the object and some contain a second faint object that I did not see at the location of the sighting. When I zoom in on the object with my photo editing program I can see dark areas around the object that change from photo to photo.
