UFO SIGHTED HOVERING AT REAR OF HOUSTON RESIDENCE. & WIFE WITNESS ((names deleted)) My name is ((deleted/husband's name))and my wifes name is ((deleted/wife's name)). We are in our 50's and are both professionals and do not drink nor do any type of drugs.
This past Saturday night in Houston I was awakened at exactly 4:32 AM (clock stopped) by a vibration that was making our house vibrate and a single laser beam type of light that was inadvertently flashing into the living room windows of our residence. The house next door to our residence is empty due to a fire in the house and the owners are renovating the house but do not live there now. I woke up and stepped over to the sliding glass doors that open onto the second level balcony of our home and peered out the sliding glass doors.
What I saw was such a shock that when my Wife asked me what was going on, I could not really speak, I could only wave her over to the sliding glass doors. An oval shaped object, approximately 50 to 60 feet long was hovering over our swimming pool and backyard. It was approximately 25 to 30 feet high and was putting out a golden glow from the bottom of it.
The craft had a very low golden sheen about it and looked almost transparent, you couldnt see thru the object but unless you were really looking for it, you could easily miss it. There was a type of shuddering vibration eminating from it that came in waves. We both were in shock and were afraid to make any sound or really move.
We have several outdoor cats that are our pets and a dog. Our cats ran underneath the wooden deck that surrounds our swimming pool and our dog, ((dog's name deleted)), laid down with his head between his paws and would not move nor lookup. ((dog''s name deleted)) after approximately 1 or 2 minutes raised up and ran into his make shift den area under a picnic table that we have in the backyard.
The craft was within 50 to 75 feet of where my wife and I were standing inside our bedroom looking out the 2nd floor balcony of our bedroom. I told my Wife that I was going to run downstairs and take a picture of the craft but she became very upset and almost broke my hand holding onto me, not really making any sounds but let me know she was afraid that whatever was in the craft might come out to recover any type of documentation and come into our home. We watched it hover for about 5 minutes, noticed there was a dull light on the swimming pool and then it slowly rose and moved away slowly and in a trajectory that was almost straight up, the rate of climb would be at an estimated angle of 60 degrees at about 20 to 25 feet per second.
We were up all night. The next morning we went outside and the water level of the swimming pool had dropped almost 6 inches from the time of the incident. That is really the only significant and viable impact the craft left besides the clocks all losing about 5 minutes.
We sat up all night last night to see if it would return. It did NOT return. This was an extremely intense and emotionally draining experience.

While eating dinner at a restaurant in the village I noticed a very bright light directly east of me and coming in my direction. It was at about 5 to 8,000 feet and looked like a welding rod (reddish white) light with a very long contrail behind it. This craft was very near or over Hobby airport.
Anyway took about 12-minutes to make a complete rectangle in front of me while finally departing to the south (while maintaining the same altitude). What I find unusual is the following: 1. Maintained it's brightness throughout it's movement in the rectangle (so was not a reflection in the setting sun or landing lights).
2. Numerous Southwest aircraft seemed to completely disappear during this time and did not resume till 9:00 pm. 3.
No engine noise. 4. Gave off contrails, when no other aircraft before or after did.
5. Never made out body of aircraft or wings (even as it moved around the rectangle in the sky). 6.
Flew extremely slowly (12 minutes to make a roughly 3-mile diameter rectangle). I am a pilot, have never seen anything like this. ((NUFORC Note: Witness elects to remain totally anonymous.
PD)).

I live in Sharsptown, a residential community located in the southwestern side of Houston, Texas. On Thursday, June 23rd 2005 at approximately 6:45 pm I noticed a very bright object in the southern sky traveling north to northwest at a very high rate of speed. I normally do not look up at the sky, but a pretty red cardinal caught my attention as it perched on a telephone wire in my backyard.
I was wading in the swimming pool at the time and as I watched this bird I noticed a very tiny round or ball shaped object that looked like a typical star in illumination, but not as distinct because it was still daylight. The object was very tiny to the naked eye—no larger than the head of a shirt pin. Owing to its size, I presumed the object to be flying at a very high altitude—much higher than typical passenger jets that fly at 35,000 feet.
The speed of the object I judged to be three to four times faster than passenger jets flying at this altitude. Usually when a passenger jet flies overhead at 35,000 feet or more you can watch them for a couple of minutes before they move out of your visual range. In the first twenty seconds I watched this object I believed it would move out of my visual range in less than one minute.
At thirty seconds it changed to a westerly still maintaining its velocity and illumination which did not change. I lost sight of the object after 50 seconds as it faded into the brightness of the sun in the western sky. I experience a similar even in 1965 when I saw a similar object while living in the City of Orange near Santa Ana in southern California.
This event was reported in The Register newspaper. At the time my father, a West Point graduate, was a lead aerospace engineer at North American working on Gemini space vehicle projects for NASA. I cannot say for certain what I saw over Houston, but as an ex military man I trust my instincts and whatever this objects was—it flew at a speed in excess on MACH I perhaps even MACH II.

This black triangular object flew towards the direction of my car. It moved slowly above the clouds and had a slight wobble as it moved I was on my way home from work, Thursday, March 17, 2005. I noticed in the sky @ 1/2 mile from my car a black triangular looking craft coming towards my car.
I was on Westheimer close to the Highway 6 intersection in Houston, Texas. I continued to watch it from my car but as it passed my car, I decided to turn my car around and find a nearby parking lot to park at so that I could get out of my car and continue to observe this object. It was a little cloudy but only a little.
This object didn't seem to be going very fast, though. What was strange to me besides the triangular shape is that it seemed to have a slight wobble to it as it flew towards my car. Also, while other planes and helicopters in the air had lights on, this craft did not have lights.
It almost looked as though it was hiding in the clouds because it seemed to stay in the clouds as it moved and would occasionally come out of the clouds. I would like to know if anyone else saw this object which was seen Thursday, March 17, 2005 near Westheimer and Highway 6. Thanks! ((name and e-address deleted)).

A Comet or plane like object & twin tail (not paralell) visible for 90 minutes is SW sky near Houston at 6:00pm - 7:30pm. I saw it on Friday, the 6th of January I was on I-610 Loop west heading south in Houston and I saw this in the southwestern sky, just about the exact same angle as the pictures. Between 5:00pm and 6:00pm.
This was Friday evening, the 6th, not on the 10th! I observed it for over 45 minutes, as I was caught in traffic heading the same direction the whole time. I even called someone from the car to go outside their house and look for it. If it was a plane, how did it stay in basicly the same place for 45 minutes.
I was stuck in traffic and after I arrived at my friends house, we went inside and then left about 30 minutes later and it was still there except appeared to be farther away and a little lower in the sky. That made it still visible for over one and a half hours. That's not a plane.
It is strange that my friend and I saw it on Friday night the 6th. If I had taken a picture while I was in traffic, it would have looked exactly like your photographs except when I first started noticing it the tails appeared to be in a slight "V", not quite paralell. It kinda reminded me of the Hale-Bopp comet.
I wish I had had my camera with me. It was not Venus! And stayed in view too long to be a plane. Even if it was on a long high route, I don't think that it would still be visible for 90 minutes!.
