V shaped lights over Houston I was out in my backyard on a clear night. We just moved to this new subdivision and since there are not many lights this far away from the city, I have a wonderful view of the sky. From behind me I heard the roar of a jet so I turned to watch it.
As I was watching it, a V shaped set of 5 lights came into view behind and under the plane. The ufo passed the airplane and disappeared from view within seconds. I then saw another plane approaching from the west at a high rate of speed to the vicinity of where I last saw the ufo.
The plane circled the area for about 5 minutes, then left.

Three red light formation over Houston I was watching for meteor shower activity and observered 3(three) non-blinking red lights in a tringular formation, moving from North to South at a constant speed. Altitude and speed uncertain as I don't know the size of the craft. The observed phenomenon crossed a 50(fifty) degree arc above the city of Houston and disappeared into cloud cover in a duration of approx.
8~10 seconds. When I lost sight of these lights, I noted the time of 03:40AM-CST(US). There were no unusual sounds ocurring during or for several minutes after the observation.
Almost exactly one-half hour later, at approx. 04:10AM-CST(US), I observed what appeared to be a commercial aircraft(red and white blinking lights) prodeeding in a direction from NE to SW(compass heading approx 210~230 degrees), already at altitude, possiblly from IAH(Bush), Memphis, DFW, or Little Rock, destination unknown. ((NUFORC Note: Please see other reports for this date.

Probably not UFO - But WHAT was it that may have exploded? Did anyone else see the formation in the North sky around noon today? At first, I thought it was just that. a stationary formation. It looked like stars in the daytime sky.
There were some bright stars and a whole bunch (maybe 100) smaller ones. Then I noticed that some of the stars seemed to be moving away from each other. Then I noticed that the whole formation was moving slowly West and that the stars were starting to become less visible.
Some of the brighter ones were moving apart noticeably. I observed it for about 15 minutes before they faded from sight. I didn't have time to go home for a camera.
After observing the movement, I surmised that it might well have been some type of explosion in outer space and what I saw was a debris field reflected in the sunlight. A friend witnessed it too.

v shape ufo My wife and I were taking the trash out. I happened to glance upwards and saw lights in a v-shape moving from west to east slowly. I yelled at my wife to look.
As we watched, the ufo came to a complete stop about 2 or 3 miles away and pivoted about 150 degrees on its front light. The ufo then took off at an extremely high rate of speed, disappearing in a matter of seconds. ((NUFORC Note: Date is approximate.

diamond-shaped with lights, it split into 7 pieces and fused back together. we were in our apartment complex at 4am to watch a comet shower, it was my sisters, my dad and me. We were taking pictures with my father's camera and my camera, we were there since 3:30am.
On 4:10am, me and my dad saw this UFO flying slow and at a low altitude, it was too slow to be a comet, so i took my camera and took a picture, but i never developed the camera, so i dont know if i got the UFO on a picture. What i noticed about this certain UFO was that it was diamond-shaped with lights surrounding the edges, then all of a sudden the UFO split into 7 pieces and fused back together. ((NUFORC Note: Witness indicates that the date of the incident is approximate.

Extreme large, very bright orb gave off no light to anything else, observed in texas. My first of two UFO encounters was after I had moved into my new house. We were still trying to unpack our room so I slept on floor and stared out my window for awhile.
After about 30 minutes a huge white orb came over the window. The orb itself was incredibly bright but it cast no light around it. It seamed very low because it so large, it filled my entire view coming over the house and flew past the window.
It gave off the sound of a very deep sounding yell. The sound was pretty quite but still unmistakable that the orb was making it. It was way to large for a plane and it was almost like a perfect circle.
The bottom drooped down. It flew very slowly over the house, stopping for only a second a little past the window. It sped up almost suddenly, then slowed back to its original speed, like it re-thought its movements.
The object then flew perfectly strait and level in the direction of north.

Saw two black objects hovering over Houston I was standing on the balcony outside my bedroom when I noticed two objects in the southwestern sky. They looked very black to me. One was circular and the other was an irregular shape which I thought at first was a hangglider or something.
But they were moving so slowly that I couldn't figure out what I was looking at. The circular object was closer to me and both objects were slowly moving Southwest away from me. Soon the irregular one was out of sight and I pulled my video camera out and taped the circular one until it disappeared into the clouds away from me.
Maybe it was a weather balloon, but I still can't figure out what that second object was. Bizarre.

Black Triangle with Green Lihgts! My wife and I were returning home from breakfast out when she saw this triangular UFO. We were travelling HWY 290 outbound (toward Austin) and she was looking in an easterly direction when she saw it. The UFO was (isoceles) triangular in shape, a flat black in color, and had green pulsating lights in each corner.
For the duration of the sighting, the object appeared to simply hover in one spot in the Houston sky. Because the oject was in the part of the sky that I, the driver, could not see, she was the only witness to it. She took her eyes off the object for the briefest moment and when she re-focused on the area in which she had seen it, it was gone.
It appeared to have simply disappeared. My wife thought of every possible explanation for the object (helicopter, hang glider, etc) but nothing could explain its strangeness. I am the UFO buff in the family and you can imagine my disappointment that I could not see the thing!.

Bright object in Houston sky We were looking at the stars between 9 pm and 10 pm and saw flying from North to South very high in the sky and a very bright object. It was flying higher and faster than any ordinary jet could have been. It looked almost like a shooting star that is how bright and fast it was going but, it was streaking across the sky not falling.
There was no sound and we watched to see if we saw anything else but, nothing followed. It reminded me of when the space shuttle flew over that is how fast and bright the object was.

PEOPLE ARE STRANGE -- WHATS STRANGER IS THE FACT THAT SOME PEOPLE STILL BELIEVE THERE IS NO LIFE OTHER THAN OURS IN THIS UNIVERSE. As always, never fails, everytime I sense a sighting, I see one. I was outside on my smoke break with 2 other co-workers.
They were talking amongst themselves and I was looking up. Keep in mind that my boss ridicules me all of the time about the UFO phenomenon. I looked up and saw a circular moving dot in the sky.
I called on them to witness the sight. One girl saw what I had seen and my boss was not able to see, or should I say, saw what he wanted to see. He kept squinting and never was able to see anything.
The close-minded friend of mine said it was a balloon, but what kind of balloon travels so high in the air without exploding-NONE!!!! There was another sighting during the first one of another disc flying directly above the first one. I had called on another co-worker to witness the sighting and she confirmed it. People have to come to their senses and accept the fact that we are being visited by other beings from other worlds.
Many of them at that. The people that do not believe or that are afraid to accept the notion of other visitors should be considered the crazy ones on drugs!!! Thank you, HGuerra.

An unforgettable witness to a ufo I happened to wake up on the night of Februray 13th or the morning of the 14th. I saw an airplane flying with the ufo behind it. I couldnt describe the movement of the ufo because the physics of it is speechless.
This all happened in some time between 1 and 3 seconds. I was going to get up and see it but something "forced" me back to sleep. It was like a ringing sound.
I woke up again still thinking about what I saw then the ringing sound occurred again and forced me back to sleep. But I woke up the next morning still remembering the physics of this object. I know it wasnt a dream because I never could have imagined something moving so fluidly.

Bright fast moving light, no sound and no "tail" like a meteor, moving across the horizon. A light without any trailing "tail". Simply a fast moving light, MUCH faster that any aircraft.
No sound at all. No "tail" like a meteor, simply a bright fast moving light. Not arcing downward, moving STRAIGHT across the horizon from Northwest to Southeast.
From the time I first saw it coming toward me from the Northwest to the time it disappeared out of my sight to the Southeast was only about three seconds.

January 7, 2002 Monday, I was going to work at 6:30 a.m. outbound on 45.
When I was past the beltway I saw a huge light in the sky to my right (west). It looked like 3 lights together and they did not move. My camera will be staying in the car from now on.
I am checking to see if any blimps were in the area at the time. Tuesday morning on the news (abc13.com) search (ufo) tells of a man in the Pearland area that video taped a fireball in the sky Sunday afternoon.

I saw it ON THE NEWS-not personally. This report is about what I saw on the evening news last night 1/7/02. I live in Houston Tx.
It appears, several sightings were reported to that local TV station. One couple took a video which showed on the screen. It seemed to be a very erratic fireball of unknown origin.
I think it was Channel 13, but I could be wrong. It was exciting and I wish I had more info. for you.
I did not see anything myself; just the news.It may be worth checking into it. I don't know what they did with that video.
In Houston, we have Channels: 11, i3 and 2. We also have 26 and 39. I guess I could call all of them and find out what they did with that footage.
Let me know what you think. ((NUFORC Note: We have looked at the video footage on the station's website, and our first impression is that the object may, in fact, be a contrail behind a high-altitude jet airliner, which is flying away from the witness. However, the quality of the image on the website is not high, so we are uncertain as to what the object was.
The erratic nature of the object may be due to the fact that the video camera was not on a tripod, and was moving. PD)).
