UFO looses cloak while traveling. I was in my front lawn and loking up at the cloudy sky when an object flew past under the clouds. It seemed to appear and then disapear in less than a second and in that time it had to have traveled half was to a third of the way through the entire sky.

All it was was one large light with a smaller light close behind it, probably connected to the same craft. It absolutely did not come in through the clouds then back up giving the illusion of appearing and dissapearing, it seemed like it was traveling in a straight line very quickly and for some reason became visible or lost its cloak somehow. Very weird.

The shape may have been tear shaped but I could be certain because of the immense speed.

I did not realize there was anything out there until I printed the photo. When I saw a new moon (merely a sliver) behind the bare branches of the tree, I decided to try and photograph it. I took three photos each slightly to the right of the first.

When I printed the photos (digital camera) I was amazed to find what looked like a full moon. On closer inspection, I discovered two other less bright circular objects. I still don't know what I captured on film.

When I took the photo, I was so concentrating on the composition, and trying to capture the new moon behind the branches that I did not see anything else. It was not until I printed the photo that I discovered that there was something else.

Light (object) rising from ground up in corkscrew motion leaving visible trail (see photos) Sighting and photos by my 38 year old son made from the deck of his home near New Castle,VA, USA. He had intended to photograph the sunrise and captured a series of photos that show an object that he said was rising in a swirling motion (corkscrew) from the ground up.The time on the photos indicate that the sighting started at 7:11 AM and ended at 7:13 AM.

He was using a digital camera and the photos were made as fast as the camera would cycle.There is an aircraft con-trail visible in the background that seems to go approximately North to South. The object seems to change shape, but since he stated that it was swirling, it could be just just different views of the same shape.

I know of no other reports of sighting in the area at the time and have heard no reports of aviation problems at the time. I will attach the photos which are large files. ((NUFORC Note: Missile launch from Wallops Island, VA.

Possible rocket launched from eastern shore of Maryland/Virginia (Chesapeke Bay) certainly not extraterrestrial, but odd. Trajectory almost precisely (apparently) east-west. Similar in behavior and speed to commercial airliner, but with only one contrail while flying, but odd for its time of day, apparent altitude (seemingly lower than trans-atlantic jet airliner), and flight corridor - no airplanes have ever been seen flying at that altitude, and certainly no trans-atlantic commercial jets.

After returned (20 seconds away) from getting my camera, the contrails (which had been straight) were wavy due to wind (no doubt), but the odd thing is that the UFO was still shining bright - probably reflection of the sun - sun was rising, but hadn't yet risen, but was apparently stationary. It faded over the next minute. I have a couple of photos of this.

bright circle light in the sky (it was morning daylight hours).did not look like a light from a plane.approximately the size of a dime with my arm outstretched.

the object left a trail, like an airplane but the trail zig-zagged back and forth.the trail went across the sky, not up from the ground.the object then disappeared for about 5 seconds and then reappeared for about another 10 seconds and then disappeared again.

I witnessed a bright light that changed into different lights moving around. My brother-in-law and I were outside of his mothers house and he told me to look up at the sky. At first we thought it was a falling star, however it was a little larger.

It was a bright light moving like a falling star would, but all the sudden it changed into what looked like a plane, but a little different because it had too many lights moving around. The lights were green, white and red, moving around. Then it took off into the sky really fast.

2 fuzzy lights I was just outside walking my dog when I just happened to look up to see 2 very fuzzy looking white lights at about 45* from the ground up heading south at a medium rate of speed. The thing that I thought was odd was that the lights were very dim compared to the stars. I also noticed an airplane to the west of the object that was very clear looking.

I dont see any clouds in the area that could have caused the dimming. The lights were spaced about 1 inch apart at arms length. I could not tell if there was any object connecting the lights together, but they didnt change the distance between.

Eventually I couldnt see the lights due to the city lights. I did not notice any sound. I have been in the Air Force for the last 10 years.

This craft covered about ten miles in about 2 or 3 seconds and is something that we don't have the technology to dupicate at this time Me and my girlfriend were coming back from my mom's house after picking up the kids and as we were coming down Atlee Road I noticed a flashing object up in the sky to my left as I was driving. I didn't pay much attention at first because we are near the Richmond Airport but I then noticed that it was not flying in a straight line such as a normal plane would. I slowed down and pulled off the side of the road as my girl-friend screamed at me for doing so but it was flying as if it was circling looking for something.

I watched it go from what seemed like about ten miles in about 2 or 3 seconds. It was what looked like over the airport then it was over the field in front of my neighborhood in a flash. It seemed like it was almost checking me out as it passed over I heard a hissing noise and there were blue and green lights on the bottom and side of the triangular shaped craft.

It didn't send out any beams or any type of lights to search around but it seemed like some of the colored lights were flashing more rapidly than the others. The whole time my girlfriend was yelling at me to get into the car and she saw it but didn't have any interest in it other than to say lets get the heck out of here. This is the first time I have ever seen anything of this nature and I don't know if it was the same craft everyone else had seen or even if this was some government craft we don't know about.

However being a flight enthusiast myself I know that no known craft could perform the flight characteristics displayed that night. I don't drink or do drugs and was not on any medication so I know what I saw and nobody can convince me otherwise but I sure would like to know what the heck it was. I can say this much if I had doubts of UFO's before I have been totally convinced after witnessing this that we are NOT alone after all.

I think the government needs to come forward with the information that it has concerning UFO's and tell the truth because sooner or later one is going to land on the Whitehouse lawn and ! then its all over. I have always believed in this stuff because in being a devout christian I find it hard to believe that GOD would have created such a vast Universe and that we are the only creatures that enhabit the entire Universe. It seems like an aweful waste of space.

My girlfriend will not talk much about what happened that night and she doesn't like to watch shows about stuff of this nature but one thing is for sure what we saw scared the heck out of her and she no doubt is a believer now even though she won't talk about it to much. I will close with saying thank you for allowing me to talk about this because I didn't know who to talk to and even if someone would believe me or think I was nuts but I want to thank you for being about to tell my story without being ridiculed. I only wish that I had a camera or something that I could have used to support what I saw because it hung around for what seemed like forever but it was only a couple of minutes but long enough to realize that this craft was not a conventional ship that we know of at this time thats for sure.

It was early morning and I heard a strange wooshing noise. I also noticed there was light coming from the window. I got out of bed and looked through the window there was a strange circular object in the sky; it had a few lights on it.

This was no airplane I repeat THIS WAS NO AIRPLANE! The wooshing noise stopped and the aircraft slowed down a little. It had some haze around it. The UFO flew directly over our house it was flying right over many trees.

Is it a real UFO? We were on our way across the bridge that leads into Chincoteague Va when I was snapping pictures with my Kodak digital camera after getting back home to Baltimore I downloaded the pictures to my computer and lo & behold I "found" a UFO in two of the shots!.

The whole sky turned Blood Red including the clouds coming from atop of them for an hour athe Went Hunting around 5 in the morning on the East side of the Blue Ridge Mountains near a small town called Afton. As I parked and started up the Mountain all of a sudden the complete sky over the Mts looking west turned red even the clouds took on a red tint. It was not time for the sun to come up .

It looked like flashes of red. It brought me to mind like a nuclear explosion of some sort up over top the clouds. Flashes of red continued for approx an hour.

I even called home to make sure everything was alright on that side of the Mountain. It was a very erie thing to experience. All I could do was watch it.

It was as if I was frozen or something. The entire sky and everything in it turned blood red. Flashing and flashing.

Please tell me what it could be. It lit up the entire western sky, right above the mountains.

White pinpoint with trail, sudden brilliant flash. White pinpoint of light with a long white light trail. Bright flash of light similar to a close lightning strike.

When my eyes adjusted from the flash the object was gone and the trail faded fast. No sound from an explosion. At first I thought it might be a nuke and feared for the worse, but nothing happened afterwards, no sound, no wave, nothing.

A bright green, floating sphere floating in a field on the side of the road. I was driving down the rode at around 7:00 or 8:00 p.m.

when I saw a bright green sphere floating in a field. It was far enough close to me and bright enough to see that it wasn’t connected to anything or it wasn’t a plane in the sky. It wasn’t floating up and down it was just sitting in the sky.

My female friend and I were walking around her condo. A night we could clearly see a series of lights in a chevron pattern. If you made a chevron with your fingers and held them at arms length, that would be the initial size.

Her response was 'well look at that". The lights were somewhat brighter than the stars as we could see Orion. As the lights got closer to us from 45deg angle to overhead they changed to amber and it appeared to grow in size.

I could see the amber lights recesed into a round fixture and they were now about the size of a dime held at arms length. Other that that, I could not see a defined structure, wing etc. The lights were definately attached to some kind of structure because they did not wobble, very stable.

We watched it until the trees blocked the view. It was silent, no humm no airplane. We did not speak for about a minute.

Just awed at what we witnessed that night. I told her to draw what she saw and I drew what I saw. The only difference in the drawings was she had more lights than I.

It seemed to grow larger as it glided silently overhead. I am 60 years old and will never forget what we saw. Very much like wittnesses saw when describing a variation of the Phoenix lights.

two aliens appeared from a bright light to peacefully investigate the surroundings in the woods Me and my two buddies had just got back from a party and decided to play hide and seek in the woods. No alcohol was involved at the birthday party. So we decided to go way up into the mountain to play because we thought it would be more fun, But boy were we wrong! First a blinding light flashed down upon us, amost paralyzing us of all movement for a couple of seconds.

Then two figures came out of the blinding light and spoke in an unknown language. At this time we were about 50 yards away behind a large rock. They stood and studied the surrounding for a couple of seconds and then proceded to take some samples.

After samples were taken they began to slowly move back toward the origin of the light before disappearing into it. the aliens were somewhere around 6 1/2 feet tall to 7 feet. They wore no close but their bodies looked to be armoured from head to toe, almost like they were engineered for war.

They were rather skinny, but had extremely large limbs. They had a small head with the eyes taking up the majority of the face. the eyes were completely white and it seemed as though the light was shining through them.

They had a very small mouth and did not appear to possess any ears, but looked as though they had small holes in the sides of their heads. Now for the craft. It was very hard to get a clear look at the craft because of the light but it appeared to be a small ball shaped pod with no windows.

It did not have any of the typical flashing lights like you would think but it did have a very bright pulsating glow. The pod moved very quickly and was very agile, almost as if it teleported from place to place. I hope that through this information we have helped this web site to conclude that extraterrestrials do in fact visit this planet ((NUFORC Note: NUFORC posted this report in 2007, but it probably is a hoax.

Large.beautiful.and brighter than anything I've ever seen.

How small I have felt since. I have tried to e-mail several people on this site, as I felt this report form could not due my sighting it's justice. I'm curious, is there someone in my area that would like to talk to me.

that would be great.but for now.here it is in brief (if such is possible).

Leaving the AMC Hospital.looked up and OH MY GOD!!! There it was.or there it was traveling.

at an extremely high rate of speed.this "Big".shining.

"Big".craft.(of some nature).

I began to zig and zag on the road leaving the hospital.not able to take my eyes from what I was seeing.as I approached the stop sign, I noticed a car had pulled over on the right side of the road.

it's occupants seeing.what I was seeing!!! I pulled out onto the main road and immediately pulled off the road.head in.

head out.glasses up (sunglasses).glasses down.

"what in the @$#@# is that??? I pulled out (as it had moved.quickly) and drove up the side road.and noticed behind me.

three other cars.all doing the same!!! Now.here goes the description.

at first when I saw this.I could see no outline of anything.just this "extremely large" white.

glowing.and here is where it gets quite difficult.the color.

odd as this is sounding.I've nothing to compare it to.it was soooooo bright.

not white.not blue.just.

nothing I've ever seen.ever.it was traveling at a very fast rate of speed and very, very large.

we are in some kind of big trouble down here, then as I moved to the off road site, as it moved.with my sunglasses on.and only then.

as it was too bright to look directly upon.I could see a triangle.enlongated, of course, due to my position to it.

Brilliant greenish/white object drops from sky Turned to the southeast to survey the night sky and witnessed a brilliant white/greenish object fall straight to the horizon. The object did not appear to arch across the sky as shooting stars or satellites do. I did not see a tail or trail left by the object.

The object was approximately three times the diameter of the brighest star in the sky. I did not hear any sounds. The sky was clear with many stars visible in spite of a bright moon.

Object may have been a shooting star but it was very different from others I have seen over the years due to the absence of a tail and the manner in which it appeared to move. This objec looked as if it dropped straight out of the sky. ((NUFORC Note: Possible meteor?? PD)).

Ball of light at ROTC training This happened during an Army ROTC training weekend in a large wooded area on base. While on a land navigation exercise in the woods at about 2 am, perhaps 3-ish, two other people in my fire team and I witnessed a large ball of light traveling slowly over the treetops. there was a very high pitched humming noise.

Our compasses were not working, but using terrain association we figured that it was heading roughly north/northeast, at maybe 10-20 mph. It was moving much too slowly to be a missile or other projectile that I've ever seen, and was far too close to have been mistaken for a helicopter or an airplane. We have not reported this incident to anyone, although I have heard from other cadets in the NR Battalion besides those in my squad/fireteam that saw the same object early that morning.

It passed almost over us, and I could not discern its shape, it was only a "blob" of light.

A double tiered object seen in the sky from Lake Ridge, Virginia. On 4 October, approximately 3:30am, I was on the back deck of my townhome in Lake Ridge, VA. I was facing South/West when I noticed in the distance above the tree line (about 45 degrees) double tiered lights (angled) of red, orange, yellow, almost like the sun setting in the clouds.

I did not have camera but did not want to leave to get it because I was curious as to what I was looking at. The top tier seemed to move over the bottom tier and vanish. Then the bottom tier seemed to shrink into a star-like ball.

Then it vanished. The whole incident seemed to have lasted about two minutes. I am curious if anyone else saw this and reported it.

And, also want to know if it could have been gas pocket of some kind.

squiggle of light right over the car in the fog A "squiggle" of light lit up the car and surrounding area in heavy rain and fog for about 1.5 seconds. It was hard to see because of the clouds and fog but was very bright.

It was directly over the car and was visible through the skylight. My wife and daughter were in the car.
