Recalling my first UFO sighting.1976 (Uncertain of date, estimating fall since we had clear view of nearly the entire lake) It was dusk. A clear starry night was ascending upon 3 teenaged cousins who were just cruising around listening to tunes, in a Chevy Impala.
The sunset was behind us as we turned in an easterly direction, up the hill from Highway Y on Lochcrest Blvd., toward the house on Little Muskego Lake, located in S.E.
Wisconsin. As the driver (my cousin) crested the hill, we could see the hazy glow of Milwaukee's city lights to the north east, as well as the house lights that dotted the shoreline all around the lake. I don't recall Muskego's Dandelion Park ferris wheel being illuminated, which again makes me guess this may have been later in the year, when the park was closed for the winter.
The driver (my cousin) stopped the vehicle abruptly, pointed to the the sky above the lake and yelled "WTF is that?!!!" The three of us saw an intense bright white orbital light (close to blinding intensity), hovering about 200' to 500' above the south end of the lake. Suddenly, the orb light traveled at extreme speed to the far north end of the lake (distance is about 1 mile). Then the light maneuvered instantly up, down, back and forth across the lake, precisely halting it's movement at several different locations.
There were no trails or smoke of any kind behind it. The orb hovered for a few seconds over the south end of the lake directly in front of us before shooting straight up into black space. We were awe struck by what we had just seen! My cousin quickly drove down to their home on the lake.
The three of us ran inside the house to tell our parents about the sighting. I'll never forget the sound of the door hitting the wall so hard as we barged in, that it made a hole in the wall. My uncle was angered by the damage we caused the wall, and refused to hear a thing about our incredible sighting.
He wrote us off.saying we were probably smoking wacky weed. We know what we saw that night was real.
There were several documented UFO sightings in Wisconsin, the USA, and other locations on Earth during that time period.

Electrical failure of my reliable vehicle and some missing time. My ex wife and I were driving from a gig. I thought that I would visit some relatives in Almena, Wisc.
and thought I would get there about 9 pm. In actuality I got into town about 1030pm an decided to keep on driving south. It seems to me that I went under a hiway bridge and within 5 mins/5 miles my truck was losing power, lights dimmed, radio lost station, and within 1 min the truck stalled and coasted to a stop.
I tried repeatedly to start the vehicle and it was totaly dead, not enough juice for interior lights. I thought we were there for less than an hour . A guy going the other way turnrd around and asked if he could help.
He was a wrecker driver just off work at 3 am. Told him the truck was dead. He looked under the hood for a moment and asked me to crank it.
It fired right up. I expressed wonder and continued on. To this day I cant explain the trucks failure, or the time discrepency.
I would be irate if I had to sit around for 4 hours, yet I felt lucky because I thought the sameritan found us right away. I know it sounds bogus but I am sure of all of these facts. ((NUFORC Note: Date of event is approximate.

UFO hovering over the road We were coming home from Ferryville on County Road B when we saw an object hovering about 15 feet above the road. As we got closer, about 100 feet away, the craft lifted a few feet and went about 10 feet to the right above a tree on the side of the road. It stayed there about 3 seconds and then took off across the sky in a slight S pattern and flew out of sight in about a second.
My mom admits seeing something and my dad recalls windows and light along with my details. My dad said he talk to others in our area that also saw a UFO about the same time that night.

Driving almost due south through an isolated and heavily wooded section of N. wisconsin, sky was comlpetely clear with visibility at not less than 20 miles, objects approached from east and lit the forest brightly enough to cast shadows of trees across road before spheres themselves became visible, three craft in a loose group then crossed opening in skyline about 90 degrees wide at an angle of elevation from my perspective of about 30 degrees and at at an estimated distance of around 1000-1200 yards, their size was such that the shape was perfectly discernable, color was translucent appearing emerald green, they were followed 2-3 seconds later by a single sphere identical to the first, my astonished remarks at the first sighting woke the two persons riding with me in time for one of them to see the fourth object, and both observed the surreal lighting cast over the entire landscape as it diminished. Objects were moving at near mach 1 or only slightly less (I am a pilot) and made no sound, flight path was straight and level to slightly ascending.
The intensity of light radiating would easily have been in the multi millions of lumen, and had a purity I have only seen in the prismatic seperation of sunlight. On entering the town of Spooner about 15 minutes later and stopping for fuel,(a local policeman had to get keys and reopen a service station) the few people we spoke to had not seen anything unusual. In 40 years of flying including three years in combat I have seen nothing remotely similar, the sight was so unusual I remember it now as if it were last week.
