Falling light outside of Vancouver Driving home westbound on 119th St. It was a clear night and I noticed this bright white light in the sky ahead of me. It was difficult to judge the height of this light because I couldn't make out any object.
Suddenly, the light dropped straight down out of the sky towards the ground where it disappeared (before actually reaching the ground). My mother was in a car in front of me. I called her when I got home asking if she saw anything on her way home.
She described the same light to me. There was more detail in her description. She witnessed a "cluster of lights" that hung in the air, then suddenly fell towards the ground, whereupon they disappeared as well.

observed 5 bright lights seen over Vancouver, WA I saw five lights travelling from the norh past the North Star and past Casiopia (sp?) heading south over Portland, OR. The first three lights were in a semi-triangular shape. The back two lights were changing positions back and forth.
At the same time, they were making sharp turns and returning back behind the first three lights without losing forward distance with the first three lights. The lights travelled 75% of the sky in 4-6 seconds before disappearing into the blur of the Portland lights. The altitude seemed to be higher than a commercial aircraft and lower than a satellite.
I am a carpenter and single parent of a 14 yr old. I enjoy night skywatching and have seen the space shuttle and the space station numerous times. I have seen countless satellites.
I have observed countless meteorites. I have never seen anything like this. ((NUFORC Note: We spoke at length with this witness, and found him to be a seemingly quite credible witness.

No shape to craft since distance was too great. From my location in east Vancouver. Compass direction of aprx.
140 degrees. Elevation was aproximately 70 degrees. Direction of travel is estimated at 150 degrees moving from north to south.
First noticed a faint light appearing to be a satelitte. The light quickly grew to the size of a penny held at arms length. The light was similar to the landing lights on a commercial airliner at aproximately 5 miles out and coming straight on.
The light diminished as quickly as it appeared to the point that it resembeled a high orbit satellite and disapeared from sight very quickly.

light moving in erratic patterns and various speeds , Eastward bound. At approx. 9:50 pm witness #1 and #2 went outside.
Witness #1 was looking at the sky and saw a solid light moving toward the East. the light was moving in a zigzaging pattern and at various speeds. He then said "hey look at that" and pointed to the object.
Witness #2 looked up at the object and saw the erratic patterns. Witness #2 came in the house and told us to come out and look at the object in the sky. Witness #3 came out immediatly and saw the object which had then stated to fade to red then back to white several times.
Witnesses #4 and #5 came out and saw the object continue its erratic Eastward bound trek. The object went behind a small wisp of clouds and disappeared. We watched a few more mins.
waiting for the object to reappear. We saw a light reflection on the clouds about 4 or 5 times before it completely stopped. We never saw another trace of the object.

V Shaped object moving westward at 23:43 pm on June 28, 2001 in Vancouver, Washington 6/29/01 To: UFO center.com From: ((name deleted)) Vancouver, Washington At 11:43pm, June 28, 2001, I observed a pale, white, V-shaped line of light directly overhead and moving slowly westward. There was no sound, and it seemed to be at high altitude.
The "V" formed a 90 degree angle, and was moving point first. It was approximately the size of a quarter, held at arm’s length. This object remained in view for about 10 seconds.
As soon as the first object faded from view, I noticed a single bright white point of light in the same area where the first one faded from view. It moved slowly Southward and was over the SW horizon in about 10 seconds. The sky was clear with a half moon to the west.
There were no aircraft in the area at that time. Sincerely, ((name deleted)) ((NUFORC Note: We spoke with this witness and found him to be seemingly quite serious and credible. PD)).

Single bright white pulsating light traveling South to North Looking Southward in the sky, towards bright star/planet(?)that follows South from tail of Big Dipper. Saw bright flash that was bigger than the above noted planet. Seemed to be very distant.
Thought it might be airplane or satellite except that the directions of travel varied. First 'up' towards that planet. Then towards the tail of the big dipper.
Pulsations occured about every 9 seconds. The light was very 'star white' and bright. I could not make out a shape.

Taking an evening walk facing west and saw a very bright, large orange fireball go overhead toward the west and then vanish. What was interesting is the next day I flew to Maui for vacation. When reading the Maui Sunday newspaper I came across a small article about a large orange fireball in the night sky moving east to west on Saturday night (Jan.
20th). The zetatalk website (which, regardless of who is "supposed" to be giving out the information) is a very thorough, and food for thought site to study. According to "them" the orange fireballs are part of the precursors to the approach of the so called l2th planet.
Apparently this l2th planet, or giant comet, or ball of redemption, or whatever one wishes to call it, can be viewed now by telescope in the night sky. What are your views on this? ((NUFORC Note: NUFORC does record fireballs in its database, but we are not aware of a 12th planet. As far as we know, there are only nine planets in the solar system.
PD)).

Bright object seen in sky north of Vancouver Wa. ((NUFORC Note: We believe that the witness describes here the star, Betelgeuse. It is very bright in the southeastern sky, and it "twinkles" vividly.
PD)) On the night of Jan.,15,2001 I was driving to a friends house when I first noticed the object in the sky. Since I was almost to his home I didn't give it much thought although I did think that it looked out of place or strange since it seemed brighter than any of the stars around it or even other aircraft lights that I could identify.
I spent about 45min. at his home and then left. on the way out his driveway I saw that the object was still in the sky but seemed to have move to the south of it's original position where I had seen it earlier.
this peaked my interest enough to stop my vehicle and watch it from a stationary position. I thought to myself that a aircraft would have been long gone by now unless it was a rotorcraft that was hovering. After watching this object for mayby two to three minutes I was convinced that it was not behaving in a familiar way.
It would move periodicaly in a direction (up,down, left, right) and than stop. The movement was rapid and the distance traveled was not great, but it was difficult to tell just how far it was moving. After it would move I could see a small cloud of something appear where it had been then this cloud would disappear in just a moment,it looked like a small patch of fog.
With the naked eye the object looked like a ball of light very bright in intensity and periodicaly I would notice red and green colors also. I returned to my friends house hoping that he might have a pair of binoculars that I could use to help identify this object. My friend had both a pair of binoculars (10X) and a spotting scope (20X to 60X).
Both myself and my friend along with his wife and daughter went back outside to observe this object with the above mentioned items. Once in a position where we cold see the object it was clear to my friend and his wife that this object was nothing that they have ever seen before. We all agreed that we could not positively identify it with the naked eye.
The binoculars were too unstable to get a good solid look at the object. My friend drove his truck up to where we were to use as a rest for the spotting scope. When the scope was on target it was even stranger looking at 60X magnification.
To me the object looked like a single cell organism as seen with high power microscope. The color was easier to see with the spotting scope, it appeared to be changing slightly in intensity between white, green, red, and yellow but none of the colors ever completely went away. even with the help of optical magnification none of us could identify this object.
My friend and I continued to watch this object and at about 8:50pm it faded than disappeared behind some hills. During the time that the object was observed it traveled in what I would say was a southwest direction. I have been a professional firefighter for 15 years.
My friend is self employed as a welder/fabricator and his wife is a local 911 dispatcher.

String of pearls witnessed over Washington State Hello,,, This is the first time I have ever reported anything like this,,but I wanted to forward this expeirence, I know that what we saw wasa not an EXTRAterristrial vehicle vehicle, although. I have read alot about the "string of pearls" exhaust contrails left by possible expieramental aircraft. Tonight,,we witnessed 2 contrails alongside each other,,demonstrating the "string of pearls" type exhaust.
Behind them aprox. 3 miles was a "chase" plane. The three crafts where heading from the south, very high altitude, towards Seattle,,"Madigan".
Lead aircraft had not lights,,,chase plane had white flashing lights. Thought you might be interested. There is a site that really wanted to hear about any sightings like this,,although now I can't locate it.
Take Care Joe.

2 diamond shaped craft, each with 6 glowing red "lights" on the bottom of the craft were viewed for approx. 20 seconds The two caft were diamnod shaped and were flying in a northwesterly direction toward the ocen. They appearred to have six red lights or red glowing power sources on the bottom of the craft.
Initially they flew in a horizontal pattern with the red glowing portion parallel to the ground similar to what one would see with a military aircraft with afterburners on. The craft then stopped abruptly and turned 90 degrees so the the "afterburners" were facing downward toward the ground. The craft were lost from view when the went behind a hill.
