Strange unusual crafts emitting e.m.p blast then leaving at high speeds.
it was getting dark and i was heading home from basketball practice with two of my freinds when i noticed something in the horizon i pulled the car over on the side of the road near a lake, i got out while the other two waited patiently in the car. i watched as two objects flew side by side. there deminsions are hard to explain but they reminded me of the epcott center in disney world, hundreds of little tringles put togetherto form not quite a sphere but more of a strange diamond.
they each had a strange light on the bottom of the craft that seemed to be going on its own, darting around going from place to place as they slowly examined the lake as if they were looking for something. then suddenly both lights stopped coming together on an unknown object then a brilliant flash of lights which immediately caused me to devert my eyes. when i looked back up the crafts seemed to be leaving with no lights on and at incredible speed.
what made this encounter even more stranger was that the flash of lights caused my car electrical system to malfuntion and i had to call my father to come and get us. later on i found out that my cars computer system and all electrical devises were useless and on longer worked. i did some studying of my own and found out that only a blast from an atomic bomb can cause such in effect called and electro magnetic pulse.
if a nuclear bomb of low yeild was detonated wouldnt i feel the effects of radiation or would i have been incenerated in the blast? after this, the ride home was quiet my freinds and i didnt say anything about it until another student mentioned seeing a strange object strike a mountain near the lake. later on we discussed what had happened and decided to go public with our information on the internet. ((NUFORC Note: No other reports received from this area of Washington State for this date.
No reports of electrical grid failures for this time and date, as far as we know. PD)).

Fast Moving with Instantaneous Stop and Acceleration Adding this for Historical record (previously added report to Mufon) My friend and I were traveling to meet up with other friends for vacation at Curlew Lake. At sometime between 2am - 4am (sorry, this was over 20 years ago and this is as tight of a timeframe as I can make - the date is precise though) saw an extremely fast moving light flying through the sky. It was traveling from the East (passenger side) at a pretty shallow downward angle of trajectory towards earth and we initially thought it was a meteor (although it did not have a tail but I had never seen a meteor up to that point in my life before) The light covered a huge distance in 1-2 seconds and then came to an instantaneous stop, hovered for half a second and then accelerated instantaneously back toward the direction it came from and disappearing from sight in 1-2 seconds.
- Shape: No shape of craft could be determined (Only a light could be seen. Light color was White/Yellow spectrum like stars/Moon, etc) No color change or anything exotic. - Distance From Object: It came within probably 3 nautical miles and 3000-5000 feet of us at its lowest.
- Speed: I estimate that it was traveling between Mach 20 - Mach 50. I come to this range based on living between two airports now and seeing jets fly over head at similar heights during take off/Landing patterns while traveling around 250-300 knots which I look up on FlightRadar apps. Based on those speeds, it takes minutes to travel the same distance in the sky that I saw the light travel in 1-2 seconds.
I multiply out based on time to get my estimate. - G Forces: I can not emphasize enough the instantaneous nature of the stop/start (from thousands of miles per hour to zero) The G-Forces would have been so high it would have obliterated any material I can think of. - Sound Barrier: I did not hear any kind of sonic boom that night.
With that said, I've never heard one before. Would I have heard it, if say, my windows were rolled up or I had the radio on? Not sure how loud they are. - My Credibility: Well, its low.
I'm just a guy from the internet, right? I am not an Air Force pilot or Radar Operator. I was a 17 year old kid when I saw it. I can say I was not altered from Drugs/Alcohol/Sleep Deprivation, etc.
and it was co-witnessed by my passenger. - Conditions: The sky was clear that night. It wasnt a spot light bouncing off cloud cover or something of that nature.
I give an outside chance of some kind of hologram technology but ultimately dont think thats what it was. - Since then: I have kept up as best I can with UAP news as well as emerging technologies that could explain what I saw. I would say it most closely resembles the "Nimitz Tic-Tac" in the way that it moved, with the exception of it making 180 degree change of directions instead of the reported 90 degree changes from Nimitz.
- Drone?: I have watched plenty of footage of the fastest known racing drones that exist today and I'll say they can move in a way that is "close" to what I saw with their capability to change direction but ultimately you'd have to take what those do and multiply it by 100 at a minimum. Now go back 20+ years. I just dont think we had the technology (even secretly) - Military Response?: I have absolutely no way of knowing what they were doing but there were two fighter jets flying over Curlew Lake later that day.
Curlew Lake is still a ways away from where I saw it but probably very close by jet. Were they searching for something or do they run training sorties there regularly? If searching the area, it was not a rapid response. They were seen probably 6-8 hours after my sighting.
