Orange/amber blurb of light swaying from left to right, changing in brightness About an hour and a half ago, around 11:30, my brother pointed out an orangish glow in the sky about 30 degrees up in the sky. At first I questioned it to be Mars, but it began to slowly move to the rifht in shaky movements. The orange/amber object continued to move towards a a patch of trees in the foreground, though after watching it for about 30 minutes, it began swaying from side to side.

Also when a normal airliner flew overhead, it made a sudden, quite agressive (about a 45 degree) turn to the left, away from the object. The object continued to move in this manner, often in almost a circular way until finally disapearing behind a large group of trees. Also a witness, my brother's girlfriend.

((NUFORC Note: We have corrected the date to August 15, which we assume was the correct date. Also, we suspect Mars. If a witness stares at a celestial body in the night sky for even a short period of time, the person generally will report that the object appears to be moving.

It is the result of the fact that the eyes move, giving the impression that the object is moving. There may be other visual factors involved. PD)).

Greenish-white sphere seen heading North over I-405, Kirkland/Lynnwood area I was driving East on Hwy520, from Bellevue to Redmond past the 148th Exit, when I noticed a strange light to the North. When I looked up I noticed a large white/green light travelling North. It was circular with a greenish halo and trail.

It's size looked about as large as a penny held out at arm's length. It looked to be fairly high up, maybe just below cloud level. I was only able to watch it for a few seconds as I was driving but the last I saw was when it appeared to burst into flames.

It looked like a falling star except it was much closer. It appeared to be over the Kirkland area. My friend had left work at the same time, and was heading North on I-405.

He saw the exact same object heading over almost directly overhead I-405 heading North.

It was then right overhead about 1 mile up or higher, shaped triangular, 3 strob lights, white, red and blue, no sound. Bright white light seen by me in the sky southwest, thought it was a star, then a plane, then it was moving towards many miles away. As it got closer, I stepped inside and called my daughter to see it too.

It was then right overhead about 1 mile up or higher, shaped triangular, and had underneath 3 lights, red and blue. It made no sound, and then it passed till we couldn't see it thru the trees. Went out front but couldn't see it, too cold to stay out.

We came inside and drew what we saw. Full moon night. 1st sighting.

Never have seen anything like it.
