Blue light with absolute definition seen over Seymour On this night I was out on my back deck having an evening cigarette. I was stargazing as I often do and was looking straight up at the constellation Cignus when I saw a very bright bluish light. It was about the size of 4 average stars clumped together as seen from the earths surface.

It appeared in one place then disappeared then the same light appeared about 2 degrees to the east. I was facing north. If it was the same object it was moving extremely fast.

Much faster than a meteor entering the earths atmosphere. Then it was gone. The night was clear , about 50* with no wind.

What I saw was there and was not a reflection or a plane or helicopter. I live under a flight path and see aircraft all day. This, if it was a craft, is something I’ve never seen.

Me and My fiance seen a craft the size of a football field glide silently over the road in front of our car. This incident happened during the late fall or winter about 2 years ago around 7pm. My girlfriend got put of work at 6pm from stop and shop in seymour Ct amd came home to my mother's house in seymour on culver st right from work which was only a few minutes away driving.

When she got home she asked me what I wanted for dinner and I told her I was in the mood for some burgers from my favorite burger place called Valley Burger Shack which is on south main st in seymour only about 5-10 from where we were but it was starting to get late and the place closes at 8pm so I put in the order and we left the house around 7pm. We were heading down south main st towards Ansonia CT with my fiance driving our toyota camry and me in the front passenger seat. It was dark out at this time and the leaves had fallen off the trees at this time of the year.

This road is a one lane road going in each direction woth houses to our left and the naugatuck river to our right with woods on the other side of the river with some houses mixed in. We were almost at our destination when a huge shadow started crossing the road in front of us. When I looked up to see some faint lights and a craft the size of a football field was silently gliding over the road above the house to the left heading over the street going over the river to our right.

It was so low it felt like I could throw a rock and hit it being just over the top of the tree line. As soon as I spotted it I point up towards it and said to my girl do you see this spaceship to my amazement with her jaw dropped she answered oh my god yes it is huge and so fucking low as she slowed down the car so we could watch this thing slowly creep across the road and over the river and in the direction of Oxford ct. It lasted no more then 10-15 seconds I didnt even try to find my phone because I was in such awe of what we were seeing I was afraid to miss any part of the experience.

It was so low we were able to see details the craft. It had no wings and wasn't a triangle or saucer shape. It had a few lights underneath it but they were really faint and dim.

If it was farther up you probably wouldnt see the lights. Its shape is hard to describe. The best I could descibe it because it was so big was sorta tear drop shaped and since it was night and we were seeing it from underneath we could tell it was metallic but wasn't smooth it had alot right angles and detail.

If I was to pick a craft it mostly looked like from TV is it resembled the Millennium Falcon from Star Wars but 10 times bigger. From other sitings ive seen online this was significantly bigger and different shaped. The only one I seen online that was bigger was the one in Phoenix but that was a triangle sorta boomerang shape.

This was solid from end to end. I couldn't believe something that was this big could be so silent or be able to fly at all. When we rolled the windows down to see if we could hear it there wasnt a sound at all not even a stong breeze sound just nothing.

like a balloon floating weightlessly over us. Ive seen strange things in the sky before but I never imagined I would be this close to something this amazing.

Me and My fiance on our way to dinner have a rectangular UFO the size of a football field silently fly over car My wife gets out of work at 6:30pm and asks me what where do I want to go for dinner so I tell her lets go to Valley Burger Shack thats only a mile or 2 from our house so she picks me up on her way home and we head to pick up dinner. On our way down South Main St in Seymour CT (the road VBS is on) my fiance is driving and I'm sitting in the passenger seat of our silver 2014 Toyota Camry with our windows half down while we smoke a cigarette. It was a clear fall night with unusually warm weather for this time of year in CT.

We are traveling North on the street towards the town of Ansonia. The left hand side of the road has houses and the right side of us has the Naugatuck River running parralel to the road. Out of no where I noticed an enormous shadow engulf the street in front of our car and at the same time my girl also notices this which forced us to look up to see what is creating this.

At our surprise amazement and just pure shock and awe we see a flying rectangular craft the size of a large parking lot silently glide just over the tree tops in front of us coning from the left over the houses then cross the road exiting over the Naugatuck River to the right. It was traveling very slow and we were able to watch it for about 15 seconds before it disappeared over the ridge on the other side of the river heading in the direction of the town of Oxford. The craft seemed so low that I thought it was possible to hit it with a rock maybe 100 ft above the trees.

The craft did not seem shiny or smooth but instead looked like a dull dark gray metallic color with lots of right angles and detail to the craft. It had very faint white lights positioned under the craft the I could only discribe as being like licence plate lights. They were so faint that you would not notice them if the craft was higher and were only noticed upon us looking up to inspect the ship.

With us having our windows half down we were unable to hear any type of sound coming from it. It was as silent as a balloon floating through the air and even seemed to float like a balloon in its movement not slowing down or speeding up just gliding. I thought of trying to find my phone and record it but we where in such shock and amazement at what we where currently viewing that I was afraid I would miss it and not have enough time to achieve video proof unfortunately.

At least I had my girlfriend with me who witnessed the same encounter. We were not using alcohol or drugs and we were not impaired in any way. I also thought it was strange that we were the only car traveling on South Main St at the time of the encounter as it was only 645 pm amd was only dark for an hr or 2 and the weather was clear.

There are usually many cars on this street at this time but its not uncommon to have a break between cars for a few minutes. This was also a residential area with many houses close together and a some what dense population of people. I never heard anyone else mention seeing this or any news reports about this but I did hear of a story that happened around the same time in Oxford CT the next town over that was the direction the craft was heading.

I read on the News app NewsBreak that a lady in Oxford was sitting in her car in her driveway at around 10am when a creature that resembled at 4 ft tree with legs that ran extremely fast in front of her car across her driveway and into the woods. I do not know if these two sightings are related but I do think it is possible seeing that it falls in the same time frame and geographical area.

Entire family, including cars behind us (some pulled over to watch), observed 4 extremely bright red/orange spheres very high above traveling from north-west to east - some object would hang in one spot while others would continue traveling (as if surveying/looking for something), then catching up to the rest at immense speed, then at one point, each object would begin fading and just vanish up.

Traveling at a high rate of speed, straight line, slight wobble, WNW to ESE at around 3 to 4000 ft. No sound or vaper emitted from craft. Craft looked weathered with dark streaks like those found on spacecraft that re-enter the atmosphere.

S.E.compass heading is approximately 120 degrees.

8 or more circles of 8 or so lights hovering in unchanged spots viewable from my back deck and remaining 1.5 hours and counting. At about 20:50 pm EST in Seymour, CT, US I stepped out onto our deck facing roughly NW and saw a circle of lights.

Looking closely there appeared to be about 8 lights of multi colors. At quick glance the lights appear to be white almost like a diamond bracelet. As I looked with greater attention I discovered at least 8 of them just sitting there in the air.

Very unusual, in my sixties I have never seen anything like it. None appeared to be clearly moving although atmosphere may have created that affect. Looking at them at time I could see several colored light emissions.

Some were brighter and closer others smaller and faded due to distance and clouds perhaps. I looked at the 2 clearest ones through a pair of Sears wide angle 40x binoculars and they appear white, initially like an enlarged snowflake, but as I studied it, trying to hold the binoculars steady, the spheres seemed to have horizontal channels across them from top to bottom and appear to be shifting which again may be atmospheric affects. I have taken numerous photos using my 16 megapixel Samsung Galaxy 5 smartphone and its burst shots.

In the photos and binocular views there appeared to be a haze surrounding the sphere. I have also captured it via video but none of the shots show much more than white. When enlarged there appears to be rectangular structures in the center but that may be to do with the optics of the camera I suppose.

I started at this round bright light travel in the air above at least 3 houses. When it came to the house across the street I waited for it to come out of sight from the 2 large trees but it never appeared. This is the 2nd time I have seen this in the early morning and it is traveling way too low to be an airplane plus there was no sound.

My roommate & I witnessed what appeared to be a floating ball of fire rise above the Housatonic River behind our house. It floated up in to the sky & was headed south east over Rt. 34.

I seem a formation of stars that was very unusual for this time of day. I was on highway about 2 mins from exit, when I saw it disappear overhead I immediately pulled over off exit ramp 22 south bound/looking up to see of I could make out what was this huge formation. first I thought it was 1 large object, but when it flew overhead I could see that it was individual lights locked into place.

After I pulled over I thought I lost the object, but to my surprise they come from a completely different direction than I expected. They broke formation & individually, in a line about 20-25 sec apart. Some were high, the high ones kept the lights on.

( the lights were only to the bottom) The low flying ones turned lights off while descending to low altitudes. I'm talking rapid descent from where I was standing down to the tree lines. About 4 had lights off &.

2-3 were up high with lights on. They all went in the same general direction. I wish I knew my position bet! ter to tell you weather north west or east.

I recognized something specific about the bottom of craft that I seen in a documentary on bio. They were like not legs but 6-8 looking type things near lights that I seen. This was no where not flares or fireworks.

Amazing. I wasn't scared cause I didn't feel threatened. I was more fareful for the people that might have had a closer encounter than me.

A driver stopped to assist me, but by the time he came out car, the Last dark object was creaping in the dark. If I blinked I could have lost it, because it blended in the background. Amazing.

Simply amazing how it floated down & turned lights off.descend. The higher ones left my sight at a high altitude.

I know exactly where I was. This is my second sighting & I Wonna talk about this 1. My wife told me take pics, but I could not focus in with my I phone 4s.

So it's only a pic of the sky. I tried zooming in but to no avail. There were no beacon light, No pulsating lights, just a dull orange light color,.

Orange-ish lights floating in the sky on Sunday, May 26th, in Seymour, Connecticut I was driving home from my mothers house and while on the highway I saw six or seven orange/red/yellow lights spread across the sky. This lights weren't necessarily flashing, but they seems to be different colors combined, and at certain times one color was more distinct than the others. They moved slowly, if at all.

They moved very little, but would move in all directions. The same light would be slowly drifting east, then it would move west, then north or south. It seemed like everyone on the road was slowing down and looking, as you couldn't miss them unless you weren't paying any attention.

I even posted something on Facebook when it happened. I heard this mentioned today on "Coast to Coast AM," which compelled me to write this report. You should feel free to contact me via email if you feel it to be necessary.

Traveling lights over Seymour, CT Over a 20 minute period we observed 3 balls of light(looked to be a moving star) traveling very high and fast over Seymour, CT. The sky was clear and starry. The lights were approximately 5to 8 minutes appart.

The first and third lights traveled in a North to South direction. The second light traveled east to west. The lights did not blink but appeared to be at a higher altitude than any plane.

The lights appeard out of nowhere. Each light was able to be observed for approx. 5 to 10 seconds each.

The third light seemed to change direction and traveled up and away from Earth. There was no haze or trail of any sort around or near the objects.

At appoxiamately 10:15 I had stepped out on my back porch to smoke a cigarette. It was a very cold but clear night. I live at a high elevation and the stars were very bright.

As I stared at the stars I noticed an unusually bright blinking object. It was brighter than the other stars and was blinking with numerous colors at a high rate of intervals, unlike the lights of a plane or jet. I told my wife that I thought it was strange and asked her to come out.

I retreived my binoculiars (Belle Howell 8x40 extra wide angle) and was in awe at what I could see. There was a bright circuliar light with what looked like four or five rapidly blinking lights. The object was stationary and not emitting any noise.

I could not believe what I was seeing. Words cannot describe, I wish more people were there to witness this--- whatever, I dont know what it was. I then went next door and woke my neighbors and let them look through the binoculiars, there reaction was the same as mine.

I called the local airport in Oxford to see if it was a weather balloon.They told methat there were no weather balloons in the area. I have some of it on video.

I am not a pro so the picture did not come out to to good, but good enough. The object had moved further away at this point. After about a half hour it vanished.

I hope to take it somewhere and see if they can clear up the picture. It was at night so you can not make out any clear shape. I hope to see it again.

A saucer that mimicked our plane and helicopter blinking lights. It hovered low just high enought to see, but the trees got in the way. It flashed red and blue lights like a plane, but was very quite and unusually slow.

WE followed it the best we could. It was long and had a dome on the top. A green light reflected off the dome and what,seemed, like the moon's light reflecting off of the craft.

After following it for ten minutes, it vanished without a trace. It wasn't a helicopter, because we would have heard the chopping sound. It wasn't a plane, it was too low and very quiet, like it was scanning the sleeping neighborhood below.

Saw a silver disk with white lights move slowly then hover just above treeline and then it disappeared. We were teenage girls (14-15 years old) at a friend's birthday party. We were walking to another friend's house to bring her to the party.

It was a cold, clear night and we were high up on a hill and could see a good portion of the night sky and into the valley below. As we walked down the road, a silver disk/craft appeared to the right of a grove of trees in front of us. It wasn't much higher than the trees.

It was slowly moving in a straight line to the right. It made a quiet, low humming sound and seemed to be rotating with white lights around the middle. We just stopped and stared.

Someone asked what it was. No one spoke after. The disk then stopped moving and just hovered there.

I wasn't frightened but, was totally mesmerized by it. I had never seen anything like it. The disk then began to move to the left at a slow speed and we paralleled it by taking a road to our left.

The disk went behind the grove of trees. I expected to see it again on the other side but, it was gone. We could see for miles and saw airplanes, but the disk was no where to be seen.

We didn't know what to think. I told my parents after the party but, they didn't say much about it. My friends never talked about it again.

Saw a silver disk with white lights move slowly then hover just above treeline and then it disappeared 1976 UFO? I was at a birthday party with my friends and we were around 14-15 years old. It was a cold, clear night in December and, the house was in a neighborhood on a high hill overlooking the valley. We could see the night sky for miles around.

We left the party to walk to another friend’s house to bring her to the party. As we were walking down the road, we noticed a strange disk that was slowly moving from behind a grove of trees. It was moving from left to right in a straight line.

It was close and not much higher than the trees and was a silverish gray color. It seemed to be rotating/spinning with white, rectangular lights around the middle. It made a very low, soft, humming sound.

We just stopped and stared. Someone asked what was it? I was mesmerized and couldn’t believe what we were seeing. I wasn’t scared but, couldn’t figure out what it could be.

The disk then stopped moving and just hovered in place. It seemed to be still spinning. Then it started moving from right to left, back towards the trees.

We took another road to the left to get our friend and we paralleled the disk for a few minutes. Then, it disappeared behind the trees. A few minutes later, I expected to see the disk on the other side of the grove of trees, but it was gone.

We didn’t see or hear it anymore. We could see stars and the blinking lights of planes but, never saw the disk again. We went back to the party and no one said anything more about it.

I told my parents and they didn’t know what to make of it. My friends and I never talked about it again. I thought it might be a blimp but, years later, I saw a blimp and it didn’t look, act or sound anything like the disk did.

I still don’t know what it was but, I’ll never forget it!.
