Daylight White orb sighting over very populated area on I95 close to the CT / NY state border On 23 JAN 2024 at 9:26 am, I was driving southbound on US Interstate 95 from CT to NY. In the vicinity of exit 3 (South) I noticed a very bright, white phosphorous colored ball of light in the sky as I looked out towards the upper left of my windshield. Ball of light size was slightly larger than a passenger aircraft which had flown into view below and in front of the bright object.
The passenger aircraft was very dark in color due to the hazy, low cloud cover at the time, contrasting the dark aircraft when compared to very bright object behind the passenger aircraft. Bright object was observed as moving away from my direction heading towards the Long Island Sound / New York City direction, making me believe I was not observing bright aircraft headlights heading towards me on approach to Westchester airport. This area has a lot of air traffic as it is in the airspace of Westchester airport and I am very familiar with the various silhouettes of aircraft and their FAA lights and this object stood out immediately as not being the typical airborne lights I am used to seeing.
The bright white object was below the cloud cover, making me believe it wasn't a star or planet I was observing. I lost sight of the object for about 2 or 3 minutes as I went around a large bend on I95 then required visual contact with the white light as I entered another straight away that was back on the objects flight path. The bright white light was now smaller in size and appeared to be continuing to move away towards the direction of New York City.
Shortly after this secondary visual contact, I once again lost sight of the bright white light as I entered an area of I95 that had increased dense tree cover bordering the highway. I was unable to get a picture of the object due to driving in traffic and I would have endangered myself and the other drivers around me.

it flew low to the ground and it was the driver of the car that pointed it out. it had red and green and white lights on it. it was a craft that looked like a cessna 310 but it looked to have a dual fuselage, but the protruding fuselages were much longer than an average airplane.
it also didn’t have any propellors and it didn’t seem to have any engines. it was flying around 225-300 feet above the ground and it moved slowly. slower than an average cessna, and it didn’t look to be descending, even though the closest airport is about 6 miles away.
it flew right over the car and kept going. it had around 10 lights on it, two green lights, two red lights, and a bunch of white lights that looked to be attached to the craft. it also made no noise as it moved, unlike the general drone of a jet that you would normally hear.
it was unlike any airplane i’ve ever seen before, and i’ve seen many airplanes as i am an airplane/jet enthusiast and i do a lot of research on my own time about various aircraft.

linear, horizontal line of lights in the sky, traveling slowly; the line appeared approximately 20-30ft long from ground. I saw a line in the sky of lights; could almost be described as a horizontal line of Christmas lights high up in the sky, moving very slowly through the sky. The lights were not blinking.

Large rectangular object flying low over the water. Right before dusk I drove my kids home from athletic practices. As we’re passing the town water reservoir, my kids both cried out: “What is that?? Omg, what is that?!” I could not see anything, since I’m driving and the water is passed on the right side of our car, but both kids were jolted, awestruck and terrified.
They described the object as majestic and scary. This is what they saw: A rectangular object the size of two cars and with sharp edges (later described as a gigantic iPhone), dark grey metallic color, moving down slowly from over the tree canopy and on a tilt down towards the water. At a car’s length away from the water’s surface, it made a turn and leveled itself flat with the water as it continued to fly further in along the reservoir.
At this point we lost sight, as the road makes a turn away from the water. There was still daylight and the object had no lights, sound or anything propelling it forward. My son said it moved unlike anything he has ever seen and it’s movement was very beautiful, but unnatural.
We were about a 70-90 yards away from the moving object.

Two star light objects traveling in tandem with nearly full moon September 6, 2020; 3:45 A.M. EDT For the last four hours this morning, when ever I go outside; I have observed on the west side of the nearly Full moon something that I originally thought might be twin stars, but in that period they have stayed in the Relative same position to the moon as it moves from east to west in our night sky.
I cannot determine its Size, but it must be quite far up, and thus it would be a very large object like a large stationary craft of some sort. I have never observed anything like that in the night sky before. It is a relatively clear night here, so anyone Can see it.
It looks like it might be two bright lights with structures connecting the two bright areas. The moon would not normally stay in the same position relative to twin stars. It is sort of confusing.

I saw a bright object hovering outside my window that moved in a fashion unlike anything else I've seen I was lying in bed trying to go to sleep, when I looked out into the horizon and notices two white lights hovering lower than planes would be. The two lights were coming from a single saucer-like object. The object did not move in a linear fashion at first; it was almost moving in small circles.
After about 30 seconds it moved quickly to my left and disappeared into the sky. My neighbors have a small farm, which is rare for Greenwich, and the object seemed be hovering around their property.

Object comes close to airplane then slowly backs away opposite direction, then stays still At first, we thought "wow 2 planes are getting very close to each other" (literally facing each other) until we realized one was an actual airplane and the other object then started to back away from the airplane, as the airplane kept going its original way the other light stayed in position after moving. As if they knew we were watching it stayed there still for quite a long time. Then we saw another bigger light falling (almost like an asteroid) we followed it since we were driving and there were no sight of landing (it seemed to have landed in the middle of the park) When we arrived home we looked up at the sky for a little and realized many tiny stars moving different directions and flashing.
that's when i freaked out and went inside. could it have anything to do with the moon? it was huge last night!.

4 orange orbs over Long Island 10:34 P.M. 7/10/16 I smelled airplane fuel.
Living near Westchester airport for 30 years and a business flyer. I know the odor of fuel. This has never happened.
Thinking a plane had crashed I hit mute and turned off lights. Looking east over Long Island I saw 4 orange pulsating orbs shaped in a Y formation. They never moved.
Then a large craft came over our house west to east (never happens) low, slow and pretty silent with a white light forward. No other lights. It passes and the 4 orange orbs disappear.

Bright light stationary. Filmed. Maybe at 50 degree angle.
Saw similar again driving north on 95 a few days later. Stationary. Bright light was not moving.
I watched for 30 seconds. Walked about half a block and returned within a minute. It was still there.
Starting filming and took some not very clear pictures. After ten minutes, I went to bed. ((NUFORC Note: We suspect a sighting of one of the three planets, which currently are quite prominent in the eastern morning sky.
PD)).

Greenwich, CT 07/31/2014 - blue/white luminous "object" streaked across the sky. Traveling southbound on Merritt Parkway at approx 5:25 am, between exit 28 (Round Hill Road) and exit 27 (120A). An electric blue/white luminous "object" streaked across the sky going southwest.
I first thought it was a meteorite or a firework because of the tail, but then the object stuttered, stopped, and suddenly zipped southeast at a right angle and then poof! Gone! It was not a plane, not a helicopter, no sound.

Glowing Red-Orange Sphere sighted in Greenwich, Ct. My friend & I were walking our 3 dogs in a baseball field next to the Western Junior High School in Greenwich, Ct. I often like to look at star formations and on this particular night when I looked upwards I saw a glowing, bright red-orange sphere.
My friend noticed it too. My friend thought it looked more orange-red (minor matter). The sphere was approximately 90' in the air from the top of the hill where we were waking and about 100' away.
The sphere moved very slowly across the sky in a straight line. It proceeded to move behind a large tree that was on the hill and I was curious to keep the thing in my view for as long as possible. When I ran to the other side of the tree the object vanished into thin air.
Poof! Gone! To have seen it so clearly from where we were standing I estimated it to be about 2.5' to 3' around. It made no sound.
It was not a light projection - it was a solid glowing object. We had 3 dogs with us and they made no indication of having seen or felt anything untoward. There were no other people around - no children, no adults it was a totally clear and quiet evening.
I was NEVER a believer in all the UFO stories I heard people talking about, however, I still remain a little unsettled about this sighting.

" Star " like objects during clear day light in formation. Around noon while at work. Myself and a co-worker observed small " Star " looking objects in the clear sky.
At first glance it seemed to look like the formation of stars when viewing at night, but these stars seemed to be only in one section of the sky and nowhere else. One of the formations looked almost like the small dipper. Then we noticed some of the " star" like objects getting closer to one another.
They were all the same size and moving east towards long island, NY.

Chevron shaped formation of orange lights shaped like stunted bowling pins streaked across the sky from N to S directly overhead. At about 10 past midnight on August 23rd, I went outside to admire the stars which were unusually abundant. A few minutes in, I saw a chevron formation of lights streak across the sky directly overhead.
The lights were orange in color and were not round but rather looked like stunted bowling pins. There were about 4 or five on each side for a total of 9 to 11. They appeared to be low enough above the tree tops that at first I thought, "cool bats flying in formation!" after which I quickly thought, "no, bats don't fly in formation, maybe they're ducks.
" Then of course almost instantly I realized that neither bats nor ducks glow orange and that it must have in fact been a vessel of some sort which blocked out the stars behind it. Then, while it was still in a visible spot, unimpeded by treetops, the lights went out and that was it. I did not notice if the stars continued to be blotted out in the same trajectory, as it all happened so fast.
What was mos! t noticeable was the speed at which it moved across the sky-- 2-3 seconds heading from north to south and the fact that there was absolutely no sound associated with the movement. Could that have been a stealth bomber? And would it fly at such a low altitude?.

Cylindrical object in South Wester Connecticut It was around 5:25 PM in Greenwich, CT when I just got on the highway heading North bound. Clear skies and very light out. I’m skeptical of other peoples reports as well as when I saw today.
At first I thought it was a blimp, because it appeared white and very slow moving, but I’ve seen many blimps and this was much to thin and much longer than a blimp. If I had to make a guess, I’d say it was nearly 10,000 feet high from the ground. It was long and cylindrical in shape.
My next guess is that it was a low flying plane at an angle where I couldn’t make out the wings, and I’m still open to that possibility. However, if it were an airliner flying that low, then it would have been moving much faster, compared to this object to be moving at the rate of a blimp. I was driving on the highway during rush hour so I couldn’t stop and get a better look.
But it was clear as day. Another reason it didn’t seem like an airliner was that I couldn’t make out any wings or a tail wing. Even as the road twisted giving me a different angle of view, still no wings.
I had sight of it for over a minute at least. Then the thing seemed to change direction pointing away from me. I still had clear sight of it, while trying to avoid and accident, it seemed to move a little further in the distance then just vanished.
There were no clouds in the sky and visibility was great, so I don’t know how this thing vanished like it did. I’m 31, and I’ve seen plenty of blimps, airliners, jets, etc. Whatever this was, well I just couldn’t explain it or make sense of it.

Christmas Eve lights over Greenwich, CT From bedroom window, I observed a strange object moving too fast to be a jet or plane at such a high altitute en route to Westchester County Airport (HPN) or La Guardia (LGA). The object, exhibiting a few different bright colors, seemed to stop, hover, then move up and down before disappearing completely. The unacceptable movements of the craft are what keep me so skeptical.
A westchester county newspaper the following business day reported that a stealth bomber was on routine post 9/11 patrol lit up for Christmas. I, however, cannot believe this report as again, the craft was moving in such ways that cannot be explained by our modern day aircraft. I can accept that perhaps it was a harrier jet, but I do not know which alitute hovering limitations the jet has.

Slow moving, quiet very large triangular shaped craft just above the tree line. Just over the tree line a very large, yet very quiet (faint sound) triangular shaped object with red and green lights passed overhead. I was leaving the Burning Tree Country Club.
To this day, I can't believe what I saw. I felt like I could throw a rock up and hit it. My girlfriend at the time saw it too.
No idea what it could possibly be. I really believe it was not from this world.
