Traveling orb plus a ‘star’ I was sitting on my front porch which faces south. Several strong thunderstorms had already rolled through the area, the sky was heavily clouded and all was quiet. I was looking above the line of trees which are on a hill about 100’ in front of the porch.

Suddenly I saw what looked like a large bright star and in front of and to the side of the ‘star’ was a blueish/white orb in front of the clouds. From my perspective, it was about 1/4 inch in size…larger than the ‘star’. The ‘star’ blinked out and the orb began moving southeast into the clouds in the direction of Long Island Sound.

It was hard to judge the distance to the orb…possibly 1/4 mile. There was no sound of a small light plane or any other other aircraft…only quiet.

Witnesses had seen multiple objects in the sky that clearly move and pulsate, but not aircraft. For two days, witnesses had seen multiple objects in the sky. They appeared like stars, but clearly move and pulsate.

They reported 4 objects last night (5th). It was as if they were in a grid spreading out for many miles over the sky, zigzagging in various directions, but always returning to a fixed spot. Four of the witnesses saw the same thing.

They reported over ten airplanes flying at various heights during this event and even saw space debris or satellites that went close by where these objects were.

I was getting something from the car. The sky suddenly lit up blue. Then in the sky a streak of fire and it made a sparkling noice.

I have no clue what it was it moved in direction of the Hwy and was gone. This was all very quick.

As I was driving South from Milford to Fairfield on I95 at 5:00 PM I saw 2 triangular aircraft near each other VERY BRIGHTLY LIT (possibly a reddish light at top of triangle).eventually they separated. One went East and the other South.

I watched the one in the South just Hover for a very long time. Two of my neighbors also saw it. It was nothing identifiable.

Glowing pinkish red object. Heading north and silent running. Viewing Location: Looking inland from the beach off Fairfield Beach Rd.

across from Pine Creek Marsh. Description: The object was moving when we first noticed it. We were looking inland so the object was over land and not the water.

It was headed in a northerly direction. From start to finish the distance traveled was about equal to 4 feet between outstretched arms. This occurred a little after sundown.

I don't remember the exact time. Sunset was at 8:28 . The light resembled a road flare from a distance.

Red and roundish in shape. We only saw the light and not the object creating the illumination. The light itself was too large to be a plane side-marker at the perceived distance.

There were no other lights around the main one. The shade of red was not the deep red of a an aircraft marker but a softer shade and unblinking though atmospheric conditions caused the light to modulate somewhat. A tiny white light took the place of the red light toward the end of our viewing and as it traveled this light faded out.

I was in the car coming home when I saw a silver object in the sky. It was moving a little slow and I never saw something like that ever. I knew it wasn't a plane because I never seen a plane that's silver.

It was incredible to see and I bet nobody will believe me if I tell them. At first I was scared but as I kept thinking what it could be and i thought it was a UFO.

large yellow/white fireball seen in fairfield I saw a large meteor? white/yellow 3x size of full moon coming from southeast toward northwest direction. It was moving horizontally and appeared to be surrounded by sparks. It had a long tail at the end.

The sky was cloudy, so I'm assuming it was travelling low in the sky beneath the clouds, otherwise I would'nt have seen it. My wife was talking to me in the backyard while I was looking up at the sky. She was facing in the opposite direction, by the time she turned to look it was gone.

2 seperate observations. Fairfield, CT I figure I would submit my observations, though it has been a few weeks since the events had accrued. I guess the events took place around the 1st of October.

I smoke cigarettes out side my home and observe the night sky every night. I live around NYC region and see many planes travel over my home, and so I would consider my self capable of identifying a plane easily in the night sky. My first observation.

I saw a bright light breaking through the tree line on a clear night, at a height I observe many planes around 11PM. At first I figured it was a plane coming at me in a direct line, and I was observing a line of sight to its head lights, although it was brighter than most planes, so I decided to observe it longer than I typically would for other night sky lights. The path the light was traveling was coming at me and it did travel directly over my house and off into the southern tree line.

What I would typically see when a plane travels in this fashion would be. First the head lights when it is traveling towards me. 2nd the underbelly lights as it traveled above me.

3rd the head lights would dim and fade to black as it passed away from me, and I would observe the tail lights and the underbelly lights. Well this light didn't follow those rules and it sutatined its single point of light through it entire traverse of the night sky and maintained its lluminosity. It did appear to be low in the sky although I can't declare how far that would be.

It made no noise. After it passed beyond my ability to see it, I noticed that there were many planes in the night sky, more than usual, and their paths didn't follow what is typically the flying paths for airliners and personal aircraft comiing in and out of the airports around my area. Made me think that I wasn't the only person to observe this event.

A few days later, it was over cast but it wasn't raining. I was observing the moon light breaking through the cloud cover and it resembled the NASA Black Brant XII cloud dispersal I viewed on Youtube. I watched the moon light break through the clouds for awhile as it sustained the appearance of the Rocket launch for awhile.

I have to mention that I felt that something was going to happen, it was odd, and it made me uncomfortable. I looked into the northern sky and observed a light break the tree line, it was followed by 2 other lights. They appear to hold the points of a triangle and were traveling to the south.

When I declared to my self that this was not something that I had ever observed before, the 3 lights broke formation and the leading light changed direction towards the west and the other 2 lights followed, but didn't take the paths of what I would say are typical of things I have seen in the night sky (radical and some what random change of direction.) Very bright light seen over Tunxis Hill from I-95 in Bridgeport and Fairfield. We were driving home on I-95 going southbound from a friends house in orange and right about when we got to exit 26 on the southbound lane, I noticed a bright object in the sky. It didn't look like a helicopter or plane and it seemed to be traveling west at a decently fast speed.

I pointed it out to my father who was in the front passenger seat(I was in the back seat) and he said that he saw it too and that it did not seem to take on the appearance of an airplane or helicopter. As we crossed over Rooster River (the border between Bridgeport and Fairfield) between exit 25 southbound and exit 24 southbound, we noticed that the object got larger and we could see it in more detail. It appeared to be over the general area of the CVS drug store on tunxis hill in fairfield from our point of view on I-95.

We passed some trees just before exiting I-95 via exit 24 southbound and taking a right into the northern direction. When we got off I-95 just after our view being blocked by some trees to the left (north), we could not see the object anymore over tunxis hill, or in any direction for that matter. It seemed to have just disappeared, it was slightly cloudy so that could have been why we couldn't see it anymore.

During the entire experience, at one point the object looked like it was moving at a high rate of speed, and at another point it looked like it was just hovering for a decently long period of time. Before out view got blocked near exit 24 southbound, the object was close enough to us where we could see it in enough detail to tell for sure that it was not an airplane and was not a helicopter. The object was just a small to medium sized circular light.

The light was very bright just to say. and it looked almost as if the light was glossy or glistening in the sky. This was just before it got dark enough out to see stars, but not dark enough where we could see stars yet.

It was still bright outside. This object also got larger as we neared it.

Object traveling at immense speed, size and altitude of satellite, over Fairfield, CT (metro NY airspace) Observing stars, aircraft (landing at metro NY airports - and White Plains) and tracking satellites for many, many years, this is the FIRST time I was amazed at a completely unrecognizable sighting. It was DEFINITELY NOT a falling star as it did not lose altitude but swept across the night sky with a speed I have never seen. It was the size of a satellite, to the observer of such, a came out of the south (from the direction of the NY airports), but at the height of a satellite) with great speed (also unlike tracking a satellite) headed north.

I followed the sighting for a few seconds until it was no longer visible then turned quickly toward the west and saw the same thing, for perhaps two seconds. I am not sure that what I saw for a second heading west was also the same object but since I was keeping a careful eye in the sky was also able to catch that brief sighting. The entire three or four second event (including three seconds from south to north and one or two in the west)was an object very high in the sky the size of satellite.

However, it was differentiated by the speed. I am an educated woman (Smith College graduate) who studied astronomy and has visited numerous observatories. I was taught by my Smith College astronomy professor to identify satellites from the Smith observatory on top of the science building.

This event was unlike anything I have ever seen.

Bright object in sky suddenly disappears It's around 8:45 at night, myself, my twin brother and my two other friends are going to go for a walk on the beach. It is a clear night, there is some residual sunlight from the sunset and plenty of light pollution. After a 20 minute walk, it's a little after 9 when I point out a bright light in the sky.

I was pretty sure it was Venus, astronomy is a hobby of mine and I can recognize alot of objects in the sky. I said to my brother, I don't think Venus is out after sunset in the summer, what do you think? He says he doesn't believe it would be out either. We stare at it for a couple minutes more when all of a sudden, as if it were shrinking, it disappears.

We both looked at eachother in disbelief, "did that just happen"? The manner in which this light disappeared was too weird, it couldn't have been a flare, it was in the sky for too long, and the light's intensity remained constant. It was straight out of a UFO tv show, this thing went from being the brightest object in the sky, to completely gone in about 2 seconds. As for details about how the UFO looked, all I can say is that it looked like Venus, it didn't twinkle however, and it never moved.

October 14.2006 2:24 Large bluegreen fireball fell acrosss the sky in Fairfield Connecticut I was up because I was unable to sleep, and stepped out the back door to my yard for a little night air. I was looking at horizon level when this beautiful big(to my eyes the size of a large beach or basketball) bluegreen fireball fell diagonally across the sky.

This is the second time in my life I witnessed this. The last time was around 1967 in broad daylight. At the time I assumed it was a meteorite, and thought the same thing last night, but when I typed in bluegreen fireball on the search in my computer your site came up.

Because of the lateness of the hour I'm not aware of any other witnesses. It was very definitely a ball, but there were flashes all around it almost like a rotary blade.It was visual stunning, but frightened me because of all the stupid nuclear and terrorist talk your bombarded with these days!Afterward, I just assumed it was a meteor.

bright circualr object appeared to rotate horizontally time of sighting is an estimate. I saw a roundish object in the sky as I was entering a grocery store on Black Rock Turnpike. I stopped breifly to look at it longer.

It looked as if it was rotating. it was either bright white or of reflective material. I would also estimate it's size to be about the same as a small plane.

OTHER INFO: I'm pretty sure that this was the same object I had seen in this sky before. I was eating at a fast food place on the same street about a block away. I was able to monitor the object with my naked eyes for the duration of it's visibility.

also in that sighting, it traveled slowly, stopped, changed direction then dissapeared. I am unable to tell you what day it was but it may have been early spring 2005 or 2004. I remember it was cold out.

About me. I tend to be very observant. I spotted a cockrach at 20 feet while driving through D.

C. if that makes sense to you. I always keep an eye open for something out of the ordinary.

I am also a skeptic and look for possible explanations. this may have been a silver mylar party balloon and it was twirling up in the sky. but I think it was too big to be that.

party ballons are 18" and this was much larger. I can't quite remember if it had a haze around it. I was hoping someone else spotted this thing, it was a busy afternoon.

5 lights bouncing across the night sky. My friend and I were coming back from Stop and Shop and we sat down on a bench for a drink and Salt and Vinager chips. Then I just leaned my head backwards and I saw this light that went west, then came out of east.

Then we saw 3 more following each other going south. But then the one that scared us, was one that west zig-zagging away in the sky. ((NUFORC Note: We believe that satellites would be the first possibility to be ruled out, but that is only a guess on my part.

We saw a silver, shiny object shooting through the sky on a Summer afternoon. My friend and I were down at the playground shooting the breeze then when I saw a shiny, silver object going through the sky. It couldn't of been an airplane, because it was too far away and it was going too fast.

My friend and I were terrified by the experience, and we still are to date. It was really light out. Most of my friend don't believe us, but even though we are 13 now, it still haunts us to speak of it.

Slow moving black triangle 1000 ft high directly overhead I had an up close and personal encounter with a UFO back in 1986 and pretty much kept it to myself over the years until the Pentagon confirmed those leaked videos were legit. It was then that I stopped feeling like a freak and started researching OFU/UAP. I wonder if you have much knowledge regarding the black triangles they call T3RB.

The photos and videos I have seen over the last few years look very similar to what I saw only they all have either only one white light at each point of the triangle or the same but with a red light in the center. The lights on the one I saw was much different and I have never heard anyone else describe the same configuration as what I saw. The one I saw approached me coming off of Long Island Sound in Fairfield, CT and from a distance it looked like car headlights in the sky.

As it got closer, I could then see two more big white lights. They weren't beams of light, just bright white round lights. The two facing forward were on either side of the front point of the triangle about a third of the way back.

Then there was one facing down just behind the front point, and the fourth light was facing down at the rear of the triangle between the two points. It was no more that 1000 feet above me, moving extremely slowly and made a very sleight sound that sounded like maybe what a stoked wood burning stove would sound like. It was a very clear night and I could see the perfect black solid triangle and it looked to be about the size of a commercial airliner, not the size of a football field as often reported.

When it was directly above me and I finally processed that this was no aircraft of our making, as crazy as it sounds, the only thing that went through my mind was to hug the rear corner of my van and hope I wasn't seen and beamed up. After it passed over me, it flew about another 10 or 15 seconds then turned right and continued on it's way. When it turned, it didn't bank like a plane would, it kind of like rotated on it's axis and changed direction in such a smooth fashion.

People think I am crazy when I tell this story but I will swear it is true until the day I die. So my big question to you is have you ever heard of one of these triangles with the light configuration I described? I have never seen or heard anyone else describe a triangle sighting with the lights like I saw them. I am 1000% positive of the configuration.

I find it incredible for something like this to exist today let alone back in 1986. I would love to hear any feedback or questions you may have on this.

In my youth, my friend and I witnessed an inverted, glowing teacup hovering over Fairfield University campus. I'm sorry I don't remember the exact dates or even year, as this happened over 30 years ago, but I do remember exactly what I saw. I was in the back seat of my parent's car along with my childhood friend Raymond, and we were driving from my house to my Uncle and Aunt's house.

We were driving past the SW corner of the Fairfield University campus, and for some reason Raymond and I were looking out the back window, up at the sky. Maybe it was because a few days earlier we'd also seen something that caught our eye up in the sky. It was just before dusk, and the sky was beginning to darken.

Hovering over the corner of the campus was a glowing object, pale yellow. It had a shallow convex bottom, and the top was an inverted teacup shape. For some reason it seemed to be spinning clockwise, while there was a ring of green and red lights that made up a belt where the top and bottom of the object met.

This ring of lights moved in a counter clockwise direction. It just hovered there, maybe about the size of half dollar or dollar coin from our perspective. I have no idea how high up in the sky it was.

We sat in silence and watched this object as we drove past. When the car turned left at the corner, we watched until it was out of sight. We then turned to one another to confirm that we both just witnessed the same thing.
