Intensely bright white light steadily hovering in place–no other lights. Checked against tree to be sure not moving, it was not. Watched for 5+ & went inside house.
Not a plane, planes move & have other lights/this did not.

It was a small, glowing, green, floating object that I have tried to make sence of but I can not explain. I managed to capture it by accident in a moving photo on my IPHONE while trying to photograph nature. I was surprised when I looked at the photo and continue to observe the movement of the object, hoping to explain it in some way besides an "unidentified flying object.
" Maybe someone else could? I don't typically believe in such things so I'm really not sure what to make of it. ((NUFORC Note: We suspect a possible lens flare. We see many of them.
PD)).

30+ lights moving in formation moving across Ellington sky! At approximately 9:00 PM on 4/11/2020, we witnessed a line of over 30+ bright white lights moving in an east direction in a straight line, the lights all evenly-spaced and moving at the same slow speed. We did not hear any noise coming from these objects. Due to Covid-19 quarantine, there were no planes flying and the sky was perfectly clear so these lights were highly visible (clearly not stars, shooting stars, etc.
).

Driving on West Road saw a stationary craft in the sky above me with at least 3 lights too close to me to be a plane and not moving. It seemed like a sparkly thing was coming down slowly from it like a slow moving pin of light toward my car and i stopped my car and said to myself what is that? Got scared and wanted to keep moving.

Glowing sphere of light motionless for nearly an hour then vanished. There was a glowing object somewhat low in the south/southwest sky that looked similar to Mars, only it was bigger than Mars or any other visible planet and it was not Mars (I found what was definitely Mars in another spot in the sky). I did not move.
I used an app to figure out what celestial entity it might be, but nothing came up. It was definitely not a plane; it stayed in the same spot for at least 40 minutes or so before suddenly vanishing. ((NUFORC Note: Witness indicates that the date of the sighting is approximate.

Saw a stationary pattern, not moving and not making any noise for a minute until it slowly dimmed away. Near Pinney Street, saw an unidentified light source, about 1000 feet high, that seemed to have structure to it; the lights seemed to be shining through something. The object had 2 circular lights on top, a wide bright light below it, and a single light below that.
The object was not moving at all. We watched it for about a minute, from about a mile away, until we were almost beneath it. As we were attempting to identify it and were driving down the street, the lights slowly dimmed until they were out.
We then stopped the car, to see if we could hear a plane engine, but could not see or hear anything more. A senior and a teenager witnessed this.

We saw a very fast moving bright light moving to the east. After approximately 15 seconds.it just faded out.
We had an aircraft visible to the south heading toward Bradly airport with its landing lights clearly visible. The light we saw had no aircraft lights visible. It was much larger and faster moving than satellites we see.
Definitely something we've never seen before.

2 aircraft with center orange lights, followed by 5 similar aircraft. Just got home from Christmas day with the grandkids, went outside to smoke a butt, when I saw two aircraft with orange lights just below the cloud deck. No other Nav lights were visible, just a center orange light.
As they got close to flying over the house, the center lights were no longer visible. My wife had just come outside and I was calling her over to look at these RQ-180 shaped craft flying eastward. I could see their silhouette just below the clouds.
What was even more bizarre, they made no sound at all. As I was calling my wife to come see the first two aircraft, she called my attention to 5 more orange lights flying from west to east in a relatively close formation. The orange lights too extinguished as they approached the house.
Again, no sound what so ever. I was in the Air Force and have seen many aircraft takeoff (F-4's, B-52's) but these aircraft can't sneak out of town. F-4's are proof that if you put a big enough engine on an aircraft it can fly.
Westover AFB is to or north, and have seen F-15's and even Stealth fighters (at night) fly over, but again, these aircraft can't sneak out of town. From the direction they were coming from it would have put them in the flight path of civilian aircraft from Bradley Airport. Irregular Air Traffic - Identified I had just gotten to work and was outside with a co-worker having a smoke and admiring the clouds, bullshitting about the weather and the season when she noticed it first and asked what it was. She thought it was a single craft but i was quick to notice it was 2 separate craft in a tight formation, to my surprise they were 2 Boeing B-1B Lancers. The nearest bases are Barnes Air National Guard 103rd Fighter Wing (F-15s) and Westover Air reserve Base housing the 43rd Airlift wing.
If I recall correctly there are no B1 Wings on the East coast. The Bombers were flying high at typical airliner height, with no after sound, heading from East to West. This is not a UFO reporting but like my description just irregular air traffic.

Fireball seen in CT sky I was walking with me dog around 5:10 when something caught my eye. I looked up and saw a fireball fly across the sky. I'm not sure how close it was, but it was close enough where I could see pieces and sparks fly off of it.
A tree branch obstructed my view as it continued through the sky, so I ran past the tree. Even though this only took a few seconds, the fireball was gone. There were no buildings or anything in the way to block my view after I got around that tree, so I'm not sure where it went.
From where I was, I could see sparks and what looked like smaller pieces come off of it so it must have been pretty close. My dog's ears perked up, and she sniffed the air and pulled at the leash and jumped up. I did not hear a noise with it, but she must have either been able to hear it or she saw it as well.

Orbs formation flying 1:30pm till 1:40pm March 13, 2013 Route 30 Ellington Connecticut I was outside have a smoke, clear warm day first in a while, no clouds in the sky, i was watching 2 planes pass over head when i noticed something, my first thought was birds, but it didn't feel right, given the color an altitude and the area, it appeared as 4 white orbs floating, more like balloons then birds, i'me used to seeing hawks up high circling. However hawks in this area are brown and redish tinted not white, next thought what about seagulls, rarely common in this area though a possbility but that didn't sit right either, way to high up to be either hawk or seagul, even private owned prop planes from nearby ellington airport do not fly at that altitude, that and i can normally determine it's a hawk by the wing span, which no wings were present and giving the distance between us if it were a hawk given their size i should not be able to see them as clearly as i did. during the duration of this, most of the time they appeared to playing in a diamond or square form! ation while swopping in corner to corner doing passes, this is when i ruled out birds and planes, it didn't seem as though they stopped, to signify they were turning while gliding, but rather they just instantly went in reverese, they did how ever seem to be drifting, it did not appear as though they were flying in a direction but drifting all the while rising higher.
I will not rule out the fact that maybe i simply saw birds at high altitude will also leave the option open that if they were birds they were not in any notion flying in a manor that i am used to seeing them, nor the fact that after they had risen to a point in which i could no longer see them, i waited to see if they would come back down to such a level that i could, in which they did not.

Cylinder hover over trees proceding down R30 south 8:47 am (-05:00 gmt) Near the intersection of route 140 and route 30, cyrstal lake, ellington, ct, about 3 inches of snow this morning, skies are grey all directions, outside of work having a smoke, while the manager and customer are converseing and another local customer comes up, and thats when we notice it, down route 30 south, above the tree line. A cylinder like object just hovering not moving. The trees are about 1/8th of a mile down the road, and about 40 feet or more tall, big pine trees.
looking at it holding out my arm with a ruler in my hand, like a painter comparing sizes, the object from the trees would appear 5 inches beyond the rulers length. One customer suggested that it was a ballon stuck to a tree, mind you If the object was directly above the tree and indeed a ballon, that would be at least a 10 foot string attached to it. The other objection to it being a ballon, given the storms wind factor, it remained still for 3 - 4 minutes, a l! ittle hard for a ballon in a tree to do.
Another suggestion was that its a hawk, but again size, shape, lack of movement. The though of a plane or helicopter was phased out of thought as well, the object was under the clouds, and quite visible, no lights, and the shape is far wrong, no noise, and given the weather conditions, i doubt a helicopter would be hovering that long with out even a slight twitch for stability, though its not like air traffic is uncommon, small airport across town, bradley international, 2 air national guard bases, and a air force reserve base all in a 50+ mile radius, we can identify a f-15, f-22, and a-10 just from the sound before we see them, chinook from black hawk, between skirosky and pratt and witney both in the state. After about 4 minutes the object start to move, some what slowly it seemed, downward farther south (judging by the object getting smaller quickly yet moving downward slowly) while retaining shape, which cances out the chance ! of a plane in midturn while approaching Bradley, which often (! mor so a t night with their lights) can seem like its stationary, or 1 single bright light.
I want to remain logical on this, and the possiblity that it is something man made, but for the moment given the time, distance, clearity of the object in an unclear sky, and weather, no one that saw it could identify what it is, so by nature it is undentified and in the sky.

Odd bright light in sky, with haze around it that seems to fade out. Almost looked like an explosion in the sky that faded out. First it looked like a flashlight was facing downwards but with dusty haze around it.
Then it just seemed to start fading away. There are no clouds out tonight and I can see stars everywhere. ((NUFORC Note: Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information.

Large triangular craft aprox. 200-300 ft wide , hovering approximately 150 ft above ground, and making little or no sound On the way home a number of years ago myself and my best friend ((name deleted)) were heading home via route 140 east. As we passed a pond locally known as "Stinky Pond" due to stagnant water in mid-summer we pulled over ((deleted)) when one of us (I don't remember who) notiticed an enormous craft immediatly above us in the sky.
It was approximately 50 to 100 feet above the tree line and moving west at a very slow speed (2-3mph?). In any case, I stood outside of the care, and Adam was still in it behind the drivers wheel as the craft moved directly over us. The UFO was apprximately 200 to 300 feet across (absolutely enormous), and made virtualy no sound as it basically just sat above us (it was big enough that I could barely notice it moving when it was diriectly overhead).
As I remember, it had a number of white lights toward the out parimeter, and one or more colored lights (I was too in awe to remeber exact details but I think it was one redish light in the center). In either case I suddenly realized I was looking at something extrordinary, and had a definite feeling that whoever or whatever was above me was looking at me as I was looking at the ship (perhaps a conditioned feeling from various UFO stuff I had seen in the past). I had a definite impulse to get out of there.
((name deleted)) was of the same mind , and regretably we left as a result of some instinctual fear. The rest of the way home we spoke little except to try to figure out whether what we just saw was a bonified UFO or possible a high level military project with technology way-way beyond anything we previously would have considered possible. We both agreed the white lights gave it a man made quality, but then we also agreed that regardless of how advanced something may be, if there was a need or desire to put any kind of lighting on a craft then why not white.
The bottom line is that me and my friend witnessed a craft approximatelly 200 to 300 feet wide from node to node (I can't give a more accurate estimate as it just completely engulfed ! the sky above me), and the thing was moving at a barely perceptable speed, and made little or no sound. I say little or no sound because I kind of remeber a really low hum like that of an air conditioner, but it's been so long that I can't be sure. In any case, I personally would not be sharing this (as I do not care whether it was military or extraterestial as I believe the first is probably far more advanced than I would imagine, and the second is a given when considering the likelihood), but I am sharing as I plan on being hyptnotized so as I can remember it better as time has made the memory less clear, and it was just absolutely too cool to let the details become blurred.
In addition, I also want to get hyptnotized so that I can compare my description under hypnosis to those of a recent show I saw on the Discovery Channel which descibed a very similiar craft. Before I get hyptnotized I am willing to take a lie detector test and recount the sighting in as much detail as I can remember for those who feel that it is important to prove to the world what most of us just know makes sense anyhow. If you would like to contact me about this please do so in the next couple of months before I get Hypnotized as hypnotism will diminish the the validity of any lie detector test.
Sincerely, Bryan Addicott.
