All Reported UFO Sightings in Frisco, North Carolina

Fireball appears on the horizon, shoots object from it, splits into two, then disappears. We were sitting on the beach at night looking at the horizon. A bright fireball just appeared right above the horizon and then split into two equally bright circles and then disappeared completely after about five seconds.

About two minutes later, it reappeared to the left of us and a lot closer than before. It appeared as one and just before it split into two again, something like a duller red spear shot off of the fireball and traveled a short distance to the right and angled towards the ground and then it disappeared. Then within seconds the fireball split into two and disappeared again.

Several balls of light in erratic flight pattern followed by second craft at great speed. Two friends taking a night walk down the road heard high pitched chittering noises. Similar in sound and intensity to a flock of sparrows but in a much higher pitch and no birds were able to be seen.

The chittering noise originated easterly and moved westerly without any visual of origin. Sky was clear with exception of a single wispy cloud. A few seconds after the noise stopped, a cluster of lights appeared in the direction that the chittering appeared to travel.

There were approximately eight of them. They were moving only slightly west, with a speed similar to a low flying jet, but in erratic patterns. Crossing over one another in what looked to be a random squiggly pattern.

In about 2 seconds, they blinked out. They were about as bright as a large shooting star, but no trails following their movement. White balls, steady light, no flickering or auras.

Two passed through a wispy cloud and seemed to cut through the cloud. No noise was heard at the time of their sighting. They didn’t fade, but just stopped existing.

Less than 2 minutes later, something was seen shooting across the sky above the tree-line. If the ground was zero and zenith is 90 degrees, craft was approximately 45 degrees above zero. It moved east to west and was on the ocean side of Frisco.

Either a very dim light, light colored craft, or light reflecting off craft was the only reason it was noticeable. Moved with the speed of a falling star, yet moved horizontally above the tree-line. No sound at all.

Military training is known to be done on this end of the island, but friends in the military claim no maneuvers were scheduled and none that would replicate what was seen. One observer claimed to have seen them with their family on several occasions in their 3 years residing on the island. This was the first experience for the other observer in the 6 years of their residing on the island.

No intoxication of any level for either party member. Both are logical individuals with college education and skeptical of unexplained events.

Four of us saw a huge illuminated object in the sky that has no logical explanation. Sitting on a deck facing Pamlico sound after sunset. F irst one person saw a really bright light in the air which was stationary.

He pointed it out to the rest of us. It was on for about 4 - 5 seconds and then off. It came on again about 10 minutes later a little to the left(south) of where it was before.

Same shape, same intensity. again about 4 - 5 seconds not moving at all. Big glowing object which was definitely not a plane.

We sat for hours waiting for it again without seeing it. During this time we saw many planes, they where nothing similar to what we saw. A plane in the air is a point of light(s) and this was huge.

The was nothing underneath it that we could tell in the sound. All 4 of us have never seen anything like it before.

Reddish orbs over Frisco, NC My girlfriend and I were camping at Frisco campground on April 9, 2012. Before we went to bed (around 930 PM) we were doing some stargazing like usual. Looking east over the ocean, we noticed reddish/orange lights hovering in the distance.

The orbs would slide from left to right, blink, and then appear again in a slightly different spot, never making any sort of sound. This lasted for 10-15 seconds each time we saw them. Over the course of the two hours we were stargazing, we saw this happen four times.

We frequent Frisco Campground throughout the summer months and have never seen this happen before and have no explanation for what these lights could be. We will definitely be looking for them from now on.

Orange oval shaped light that split into four different lights over the ocean. This happened three different times over 30 minutes. The sighting started out as one amber colored, oval shaped light off shore.

Then the light split into four cube shaped lights. This happened three separate times over the span of 30 minutes. The last sighting came closer to the shore then disappeared.

Evenly spaced low hanging silent, non blinking amber lights in an array on the beach at Frisco, NC on June 15, 2011 My sister in law, Brother, Niece and Nephew and I were on the beach in Frisco, NC (past Hatteras) at about 9:30 or 10 pm, right next to the Frisco Pier. The sky was clear, full moon and stars were visible. The temp was in the 70's and there was a slight breeze.

As we stood on the beach, I was standing with my back to the water, talking to my sister in law when suddenly, she grabbed my shoulders and turned me around; I saw an array of lights in the sky, low on the horizon; much lower than an airplane. The lights were amber colored, evenly spaced apart making a triangular shape and leading to a straight line. They did not blink or move at all.

We looked at them for about 2-3 minutes then they started to blink out, one by one, in order. About a half hour later, they appeared again; One light in the row appeared; then another next to it; then another, till there were 7. The lights were evenly spaced apart; just like before.

There was no sound. The lights were over the ocean; about 30 degrees up from the horizon. It was completely dark out, other than the moon.

We could not see anything but the lights ( no craft). What we saw is EXACTLY like what is shown in the picture of the lights taken on May 8, at 20:15 in New Bedford, MASS. (First page of your website).

We had a digital camera with us, which broke, inexplicably, about 2 mins before the lights appeared.

Reddish-orange lights over ocean at Frisco North Carolina - outer banks - again on 6/15/2011 See report from 6/14/2011 in Frisco NC. The same thing occurred in the same location, again on 6/15/2011 at about the same time (this time we noted the exact time). We were driving NB on Rte 12 coming out of Hatteras Village, almost to Frisco, NC.

Over the ocean (right side) - to our east, we saw two lights (same color, shape, size, etc). They were only there for about one minute - enough time to just pull over, open the windows and look and to begin to try and take a picture, and then they disappeared.

Reddish-orange lights over ocean at Frisco/Buxton North Carolina - outer banks On the evening of June 14, 2011, at approximately 9:30pm ET, we were sitting on our top deck of our house, facing a SSE direction. At about 30 degrees above the horizon over the ocean we witnessed a series of lights that appeared and disappeared over the course of about 10 minutes or so. The first set of lights included three lights in a row that appeared parallel to the horizon.

These lights were reddish-orange in color, and were clearly not stars or aircraft. The conditions were mostly clear, and there was almost a full moon. These three lights appeared to "bank" to the right.

There was no noise. In the sky these lights were about the same size as each other, and about 1/16th of the size of a full moon (the moon was visible from our viewpoint where the lights were as well). All three of these lights disappeared at the same time (no noise and no fading, just blinked off).

Then these three lights appeared again at a close but different location, and then quickly disappeared again (about one second in total). The lights then began to flash randomly (sometimes none, sometimes one, two, three, up to six in total at any one point). These lights again were all within the same field of vision over the SSE sky.

A friend and myself were standing on the shore of the Pamlico sound as we observed 4 objects moving in up and down motions for about 30 minutes and then moving across the entire horizon at incredible speeds. Looking at them with binoculars, they appeared to have green, red, and blue lights.
