Watched 3 separate ufos lift up and take off 3 of us watched 3 separate ufos lift up above the tree line and shoot off into the sky. They left 5 minutes between each other and we had a perfect view.

Mountain top looked like it was on fire but lifted up and hovered for several minutes before flying upward extremely fast. On back deck watching neighbors' fireworks, overlooking Newfound Mountain, saw the highest mountain peak was on fire (whole top) then the whole fire lifted up above the mountain and hovered for 2-3 minute before flying up fast and disappearing. "U" shaped UFO, made of light, over Candler, NC. My friend ((male name deleted)) and I were riding down Smokey Park Hwy., at ABOUT 9:55pm.

We both witnessed a very defined "U" or sort of "Omega" symbol shaped object in the night sky to the northwest. It was made of VERY sharply defined light and have off no glow, or light-halo. It was just basically a perfectly symmetrical capitol "U" shape of such bright and yet defined light, that even at the fairly long distance, it appeared away from us, we could both immediately confirm with each other that it was indeed a perfectly defined U made of bright light.

The sighting didn't last long because we were driving down Smokey Park Hwy, and first saw it in the sky above the "CVS" pharmacy as we headed in the direction of Patton Ave. The "U" shaped object appeared to be standing still for the most part, but we both agree with it seemed like it was vvveeeerrry slowly sinking lower in the sky. We soon lost visuals on it.

Has anyone else ! ever seen a perfectly "U" shaped light in the sky (aka UFO) ? Both my friend and I have witnessed the lights and other more common types of UFO's many times. However, we both saw this tonight, it was there, it wasn't some sort of satellite, aircraft, nor any balloon or flare. Did anyone else see this object tonight? Or this very defined "U" shaped light seeming to just hang suspended un the sky in this area tonight? I have seen multiple different UFO's in my lifetime… However, almost all of those were the orbs of light.

the "Moving Stars". so to speak. However, I have never seen anything remotely like this U shaped object.

What a interesting thing to have seen. keep your eyes on the night skies, people!!!.

Cluster of black spheres seen over Candler, NC. I was conducting a safety audit outside the shipping and receiving yard on the property of the company where I work in Candler, NC and I looked up and noticed a cluster of black circles or spheres. They were about 8 to 10 of the spheres all the same size, all black, some were slightly scattered from the cluster pack, some higher and lower and spend out, but all close together.

The height I would guess was about 3 to 4 thousand feet above ground and they were travelling across the sky east to west at a speed of about 50 miles per hours – I’m guessing. At first I thought it was a flock of birds, but no flapping of wings, maybe a cluster of black balloons, no, moving too deliberate and at a the same height and speed during the whole time I watched them. Maybe a balloon powered micro lite, never heard of one and no engine sound coming from it.

It appeared to gain height to cross over a nearby mountain. ???.

Bright triangular object seen over major interstate highway near medium size city. I was driving home from work on I-40 west bound in light traffic. The weather was dry and warm.

I was between the 39 and 38 mile marker, when I looked up and noticed a triangular shaped object which seemed to appear out of nowhere, and it darted off toward the direction of Asheville city. The object seemed to be solid looking and triangular in shape. It appeared to make no sound, tho it was hard to tell at highway speed.

It did appear to emit a very bright, gold colored light as it appeared and darted away.

black triangle with very bright white lights moving slowly flying low over western North Carolina I was walking my dog around 8:00 p.m. on 1/13/13.

There is a wide view of a long distance mountain range & the southern sky from my front yard where I was standing. Looking at the mountains I saw an extremely bright white light moving slowly toward me. It was moving from south to north slightly west of my position.

My first thought was that the light was much brighter than any plane or helicopter I’d ever seen. It seemed to be illuminating the clouds in front of it the length of 2 airplanes. I watched the light for about 10 minutes thinking it must be a military plane.

It came out of the clouds & flew low, lower than any large planes would fly in this valley. It moved very slowly & smoothly, sort of floating along. I kept waiting to hear the engine, but it didn’t make a sound.

I knew it wasn’t any military craft. As it got closer I realized how low it was, it was just above the tree tops of the 100/120 foot pines on the west side of my yard. Then it went behind the trees.

Again I wondered why I couldn’t hear an engine or something. When it came out from behind the trees I could see the bottom of it. It was a black(matt finish) triangle shaped craft with a white light on each of the rounded tips & a dimmer white/orange light in the center of the belly.

I watched the underside pass by me while looking west through a 25–30 foot opening in the trees. I couldn’t see the entire craft at one time; it was much larger than that 30 foot opening. I continued to watch even after I couldn’t see it anymore thinking it was going to run into the mountain north of me.

When I didn’t see an explosion I went inside & told my husband about it & drew a picture. I thought it was odd that it was moving so slowly & I thought it was odd that the light was so bright, but the thought of it being a UFO didn’t occur to me until I realized it wasn’t making any noise & it was very low. Then when I saw the matt black metal underside I was convinced.

I haven’t told anyone besides my husband for fear of ridicule. Since that night I research UFO sightings on the Web every chance I get. I was surprised no one reported it, but as time passed I thought if there were other witnesses maybe they were just as afraid to speak up as I was.

So I decided to file this report. I’m still in shock & try not to let it consume my thoughts, but I’m sure what I saw was not of this world.

Multiple/Re-occurring U.F.O.

Sightings in Candler, NC Multiple/Re-occurring U.F.O.

Sightings -As seen by more than 4 people at once; some of which, are my neighbors- I dated this report on 10/26/11 because this was basically the clincher after a few months of activity (starting around the beginning of August). I had been looking up every night since the very first time I saw; at night (around 1am), an orb of light that almost seemed to know that I was watching it. Almost like it danced for me, and I couldn’t move while watching it.

I had my girl-friend come out and look after about 20mins, and we watched just as it zipped a further distance away gracefully. The peculiar thing about its movement was mainly the vast distances it could achieve in a short time; the sharp angular movement that seemed to allow easy movement in 3-D. travel (in other words, they can go any direction fluidly), and without making a single sound.

Up to this point I have seen in the area around Candler, NC: the visit of fast, slow, lingering, and bolting away night-sightings. During the day; only most recently, I have seen silver-like, oblong, and "saucers" (around 1pm-3pm). This was what really made my heart race, I had finally found that they were in our atmosphere, and I got glimpses of their minute-long little strut.

Then they just go off, and even into clouds to never re-appear. Believe me when I say, I have been interested in the stars since I could look up, frequenting the high-powered telescopes as a youth. Never in my life have I seen any un-identifiable/irrational-anomalies that I could not disprove.

Now I have many. After I started telling more people near-by, they tried to rationalize what I saw, but I put a sock in each of their mouths when I came knocking for them the hurry and run to see around the trees before they were gone. Everyone was stunned, and the all felt that same “awe” that I explained.

The people I live next-to are the most skeptical people you could meet, and they had to tell me that they could not explain what they just had seen. So, the clincher tonight was a red orb being followed closely by a blue orb (maybe opposite at times). It/they moved very fast, turned a near 90-degree angle, and went over-head making no noise.

The odd thing is, nearly half the time these things happen a non-commercial/unmarked plane flies near its’ trajectory. This time, there was a helicopter flying under it and making noise. The craft (or two) made that angle towards over my house, and the helicopter went off over the next ridge.

As the craft/crafts went along and got closest to me, there was no noise at all. They/it soon went over another ridge. These have been frequent, and so much so that I sit outside in the cold every-night.

It’s very hard to ignore it, and i just think that I should put it out there. This I merely a statement to tell whoever is listening, the Pisgah Mountains have unexplained orbs, crafts, and “saucers” in its’ skies. Increasingly.

Bright red orb type light was seen on two seperate occasions, intelligently controlled and appeared to "scan" saw two very bright red orbs travel along our driveway had a laser/LED type intensity to them. One (orb 1) broke off, rose and waited across the road from me above a neighbors pond. The other (orb 2) appeared to wait until orb 1 took position, then proceeded to travel along my driveway, broke off 90 degrees to the left of it's original trajectory and proceeded to close to within 30 feet (~20 feet off the ground) of me as i sat on our porch.

This orb then briefly appeared to scan me with a higher intensity projected light. Immediately after this orb 2 extinguished its light and could no longer be seen. Shortly after, orb 1 which had stayed in its position also extinguished its light.

Nothing more was seen until a week later when my wife also saw the same type of light outside of our living room window. This sighting occurred at the same time of night. Only one object was seen, but object was much closer to the house at about 15 feet away and 15 feet from ground.

Object moved from right to left approximately 10 feet distance with a curving right to left pattern. My wife then hurredly left the scene and no further observation occurred. Objects appear to move at about the same pace and pattern as a bumblebee, size of object is hard to discern, but about the size of a large coin.

Bright light faded to nothing While letting the dogs out to use the bathroom. I observed due south a bright light in the sky. At first I thought this was Saturn.

But then I looked to the Southwest and saw Saturn. While watching this light (it was as bright as Saturn) it faded out and disappered. I called my wife to come out and watch.

Then the light returned got as bright as Saturn again and then faded out. My wife stated that she thought that it moved away.

Bright light rapidly traveled from North to South and then hovered in one area with movements right, left, up and down. Witnessed by 4 people. Observed for approx 15 minutes and then we stopped observing while object still there.
