Traveling northbound on I-65 close to the Zionsville exit when we looked to the east and saw dark charcoal colored cigar shaped object in the eastern, and we also saw two fighter jets that were also flying at low altitude at a slow speed and were west of us and flew over I-65 going east towards the cigar shaped object. It's a clear cool night. I was letting the dog out in front of house and looked at the stars. I noticed a bright white light originated from the northwest moving quickly to the northeast.
It moved at a constant urgent speed it began brighter than a bright star, and as it traveled, it went bright to dim and smaller until not visible. Like a passing ball would seem bigger as it got closer and then smaller as it got further away. It made no sounds and no trails.

While driving a unidentifiable white light flew West and was out of sight as fast as it appeared. I was headed West/North on the 865, right before the 65 interchange, and saw a ball of light fly overhead. Clearly moving too fast to be helicopter and too low to be a plane.
Sky was very clear, could see many constellations. There was several tractor trailers headed East/South that may have seen as well. Emitted no sound and was gone as fast as it appeared.
This was just like another sighting earlier this year but the object headed West this time and not North, same light same duration.

Faint Sphere/Saucer travelling South became more difficult to see, vanished, and left a greenish-white streak in the sky for a second. I was looking at the Stars, as I do sometimes at Night. It was about 6AM early Saturday Morning.
I was up, about to go to Sleep. I looked outside a North Window, looking NW. There was a Plane, with the Red & Green Markers heading towards Indy.
And then, I noticed something strange: Just further to the North, there was a Tiny, very dim object moving South. I was very faint, and I could just tell it was White to Light-Grey in Color. At first, I watched it, expecting it to have some Blinking-Lights as all Aircraft do.
And yet, it never did flash even Once! I went over to a West Window, to keep it in view. It became even more faint, increasing in Altitude as it traveled further South. It suddenly vanished for a second, and the reappeared, possibly leaving the Atmosphere.
And then something very astonishing happened: The object reappeared slightly for a fraction of a second, then disappeared entirely. At that point, a very faint streak of greenish-white light appeared ahead of where the object was moving toward. Sort of like how a Space Ship goes to light-speed in Science-Fiction shows.
I continued to search for signs of the object further in the sky. I couldn't find anything. I was in shock of what I saw, not because it's impossible, but because I have never seen anything like it in the Skies.
I shed a tear, and something came to mind as a Thought just appeared in my head. That they know what is happening to our Planet. I have been watching the Skies for years, and know allot about Astronomy.
I have seen many Fireballs, which are basically Meteors on fire. I know the difference from a Star, and a moving object. I know that Aircraft have Lights, and that they Flash repeatedly.
I have seen Helicopters, which appear not to flash until they pass a certain point in the Sky. What I saw not only didn't flash, but it wasn't lit-up at all. And it was much fainter than anything I've ever witnessed in the night skies.
This could have been a Spacecraft launched from Earth [Manned], or a craft not from this world. Being that this came from far North of Indianapolis, there is no launch-site for manned rockets around Northern Indiana. Not even Michigan.
Maybe Canada? Because I cannot Identify this as a Known Aircraft or Meteor/Fireball, I must report this as a UFO. And the very FIRST one I have seen in my entire life. *I would like to add, that nobody was around at the time I witnessed this.
There was no Traffic in my neighborhood, no one walking around outside. I seemed as if this would be the perfect time for such an object or craft to be high in the atmosphere. Perfect, so that it had the least chance of being caught.
I realized this, and I knew I was the only one up. Early Saturday morning, after every business including Bars & Clubs are closed, would be the perfect time to have something like this in the sky. It was faint enough, that if someone was driving, they wouldn't see it.
*Also - This Object did NOT leave a visible trail, but it DID leave a faint Streak after it vanished for a brief moment. This streak was only visible for a split-second, then disappeared.

30 red balls seen twice My 2 step brothers and I where fishing at the old Boonedocks lake behind the Crystal Flash off of I65 area. We parked at the new Anson townhomes subdivision and walked in the backway to the lake. Me and one of my step brothes walked to the car at about midnight to grab some stuff, he said WOW! Look at that.
I seen up to 30 red or orange lights spreading apart. I couldn't believe my eyes I had to walk closer they were I would guess no more than 500 feet up. I rubbed my eyes I though they where red lights like on the top of electrical poles, BUT they where moving.
After they spread apart One buy one they either dissipated or headed REAL fast east towards carmel. I then proceeded to call the Boone County Sheriff. I said " I really don't know if I wanna gice my name or even report this incident but I just seen something wierd" SHE PROCEEDED TO SAY " Was it the red lights' needless to say I was pretty freaked out.
I said yes, and gave her my description, and told ! her i was freaked , she said an officer at the crystal flash seen them and pretty much gave her the exact report. We went back to fishing needless to say our other stepbrother really didn't believe us. My other witness said that when he seen it first it was like a line, or possibly a triangle, and when it spread apart he said it made a geometric pattern or design that he could connect with lines.
Then I got a call at 12:15 from the police. She told me she called the airport and the military, nothing is going on but there was one plane somewhere in the area. And the officer that seen it wanted to file a report with the military and the initernational airport police, And wanted to use my name.
I gave themm permission. We didnt get a bite all night kinda wierd. We left at 2:45 when we got back to our vehicle to our surprise there was 2 red lights in the sky! NOW WE ALL have seen them .
PLUS others where emitting from the ground which could not have been more than 5 miles away. They had white almost emulsions then would turn into the balls! of ligh ts. Each one would come up , then towards us ,then sit for a minute, then fade away straight north.
I called the police during this action which went on for up to 15 minutes they would not even harldy talk to me I asked if anyone else is reporting this they went blank, and flat told me "there is nothing we can do" we had to have seen all 30 of them coming up but only around 10 of them would be there at once before another would be moving north and fading away. I think they were right over zionsvile and within a quarter mile of us. It felt REAL CLOSE.
I tried to take a pic with my cell phone but it didnt show up. After wards we talked for a while thinkn no one will believe us. BUT if anyone else seen what I seen PLEASE let it be known.
Especially that cop. So Im still kinda freaked. its the wierdest thing Ive ever seen .
Thinkn about goin back next saturday around midnight or a little earlier. Let you know if i see anything. IF I COULD HELP IN ANYWAY CONTACT ME THX.

UFO takes off and flies away in rural indiana near crash site. Three of us were driving home on a wooded road, the woods open up to a clearing; we are about 100 feet from the site of a bad car crash a day before. We look out the right window and are shocked to see four bright lights in a row hovering about 50 feet in the air.
The lights flipped from horizontal to vertical in place then rose and flipped again so now it was upside-down, then it took off diagonally, not in a straight line but curved and flew off to the right. We stopped and the cars behind us stopped. When it took off we kept driving away trying to figure out what we saw, I tried to take a video but it was too dark.

Lights that looked like big balls of fire seen over Zionsville. I was at work just south of Zionsville off of Zionsville road and was outside pumping fuel into a truck when I saw the lights appear. First I saw one light appear then right next to that one I saw another one appear then next to those two I saw a third light appear and then I saw a fourth one appear obove the three but off to the left a little.
The lights were perfectly synchronized when they began to appear, the first one then about two seconds later the second and two seconds later the third and then the forth one was visable. The first three lights were all in a perfectly straight line and the fourth one was above them but offset a little. They did not move at all for about ten to twenty seconds then they just faded out.
A couple of minutes went by and they began to appear again in the same fashion as they did the first time one right after the other except this time only three of the lights appeared, not four and they were visiable for about ten seconds then they also faded out. These lights were identical to the first ones I saw and were in the same area of the sky as the first ones. Immediately after the second appearance faded out I saw a faint white light from the exact spot of the sky where the last three lights faded out shoot across the sky at an incredible rate of speed heading east and it was gone.
These lights looked like big balls of fire in the sky, they didn't look anything like airplane lights plus they just sat there and didn't even move. It's nice to get on this web site and see that other people saw the same lights that night, now I know Im not going crazy.

Small silver disc, Stationary in clear sky I was biking around 12:00. I was on my way to a friends house, and the sky was clear. So I was suprised to see a bright object in the sky (not the sun).
At first i thought it was a planet but it seemed too big and it also seemed that it was getting bigger. I'm not sure though. Also it wasn't white, it was silver.
I watched it while going down a sidewalk, so i was constantly looking at it and watching where i was going. I went over a bump and the next time i looked up it was gone. I stopped and looked for it for a couple minutes but i didn't see it.
So i continued to bike to my friends house. ((FOLLOW-UP COMMUNICATION FROM WITNESS)) sorry i got the date wrong on the report (approx. 12:00pm) ((END)) ((NUFORC Note: Date of sightings was July 29, 2003.
We have amended the date above. PD)).
