Looked like fire in the sky. Objects moving too slow to meteor or comment. Kept disappearing and reappearing every 5 or so minutes.
My roommate and I were driving down 65 south toward the shelbyville exit 91. When my roommate said “Look, the sky is on fire.”.
We kept driving and got off the highway and turned left on state road 43 toward Shelbyville IN. The objects disappeared once we were off the Highway but then returned. This went on for about 20 minutes of them appearing and disappearing coming back with larger proportions and often splitting from one object to two.
We pulled over in a corn field to study the sky and then the object after appearing for the 4th time disappeared and never came back.

Observed doughnut shaped craft moving over my yard with excellent visibility conditions. Early evening Aug. 6, approximately 7:30pm, I was in my backyard along with our two dogs.
My son was in his bedroom, my fiance was dozing in our room. The sky was clear and really stunning, with gigantic thunderheads south of us and a bright moon. In the west the sun was going down but the view was absolutely clear, birds were still singing.
Beautiful evening, very still and peaceful. I decided to water all of our potted plants and fill the birdbaths despite a chance of rain. As I walked to the rear of our property, I saw an object moving over our neighbor's trees.
It was about the altitude of a private plane, maybe a bit lower, and I could see it very clearly although I had no idea what it was and my brain was just trying to make sense of it. It was a black and thick round disc, looked metallic but not shiny. Graphite came to mind.
It moved slowly, silently and *deliberately*. It floated with intent. It came over the trees like a frisbee, but then turned on its side like a wheel, and I could see a hole in the middle, like a doughnut.
It kind of undulated when it turned to its side. I was transfixed and everything was just silent for many minutes. Suddenly I came to my senses and ran as fast as I could to the house to grab my phone from the charger.
I ran back out trying to get my phone started up and pull up my camera. By that time (seconds had passed) the object had turned due north, oriented like a frisbee again, and had moved with high speed away, to where I could not find it in my camera viewfinder. Then it was a speck, then gone.
I was flooded with adrenaline and realizing I'd seen something I'd never ever expected to see. I then had an overwhelming feeling of foreboding and uneasiness, and thought to myself "I hope it didn't see me watching it". I came in and told my son, who then pulled up a number of YouTube videos, photos, of "black doughnut UAPs".
They were exactly what I saw over my yard, although I had no knowledge of that shape prior to my sighting. I've told very few people, and with trepidation. About me: I consider myself an open minded individual.
I am a mom of two nearly-grown sons, age 57, hold a bachelor's degree, am involved with community events and sit on a board for a local nonprofit, and started my own small business in the arts during the pandemic. I'm imaginative but not delusional. I was one hundred percent sober, awake and fully cognizant.
I've always been a sky-watcher and find the subject of UAPs/UFOs fascinating and completely plausible. I'm glad that the evidence is finally recieving the grave scientific attention that is warranted. Side note: the dogs made themselves scarce, I did not notice them near me or any interaction between them at that time.

triangle hovered low for several minutes and went nne slowly and silently. --Lat, long,-- (39.536510, -86.
077044) --GPS coordinates-- 39° 32' 11.4360'' N86° 4' 37.3584'' W I was working delivering pizzas on February 17th, 2015 and it was about 8:05pm.
We had several inches of fresh snow and it was still overcast, no stars or moon. I was pulling up to a red light (A) on US-31 at the Franklin/Whiteland town line, central Indiana, USA. I was the only car at the intersection.
I was pulling up to the light, facing east and i noticed two lights right behind the tree tops off to my 1 o'clock, they didn't seem to be moving but i didn't think twice about it because sometimes planes seem to be standing still from the right angle. I came to stop, checked it was clear and saw the two lights, white, steady on, still hadn't moved. And i noticed they were pretty far apart, roughly a city block and tilted down to the (my) right maybe 20°.
I'm guessing ¼mi to ½mi. away(B). I turned right on the red light, eyes now glued to the lights looking for distinction.
As i moved south down US-31 a third light came in to view to the right of the first two. Nearly the same! distance apart it appeared, it was also white but flashed red at a little faster than once per second. I drove nearly a quarter mile, under the speed limit, rolling down the window, turning off the music and heat, and staring.
I pulled over (C) realizing how unsafe i was being, silently watching, as it remained static, pitched, for around two full minutes. At this point i had still not heard any noises that wasn't one of the ten cars that passed me the entire time or my jaw hitting the road outside. After the approximate two minutes of watching three lights and hearing no sounds the aircraft leveled off allowing me to see the two white lights move together and reveal there was no further leading parts of the aircraft ahead of those points.
Straight across that edge. After leveling it continued to pitch, this time to the NNW at maybe 10° and began moving, blunt edge first, in that direction. I saw it start moving and threw my car into gear and zipped to the next pass thru in! the median watching it the best i could.
Still almost no traf! fic i wa s able to get going north bound before it got far. It didn't leave quickly, just suddenly. I'm having trouble estimating it's speed, it seemed to triple mine at the least, but not shockingly fast, no bright flash or anything.
I got turned around and up to 60mph+ and was looking at the tailing end of it. The craft never ascended or descended. Remained just a few hundred feet off of the ground.
I never saw any other lights, or heard any sounds. Even though i was able to watch it from two different positions I never got a glimpse of its silhouette, just the shape of the three lights and the angle change when it pitched forward at the "front" before it left. I followed the best I could, maybe 30 seconds watching the two steady white lights at the sides, and the white light flashing red centered right in between them, until it again faded behind the tree tops a few miles ahead of me in straight line(D).
I saw no other planes helicopters or crafts any time before or after.

we saw a bust of light then a fast streak across the sky. my son and I were driving through the country about 11 pm or so and noticed something very large off in the distance. but as we approached its position it wasn't there.
it had a bright light and looked to be stationary. we returned to our original point and couldn't locate it. we continued into town and drove through a community in franklin Indiana.
a bright blue flash covered the sky near where we saw the object west of town. then suddenly a streak of white light appeared east of town then faded. my best description would be like something off star trek.
a bright light to blast off.then a streak left by something cruising at high speed. but the entire burst and streak only lasted 2 seconds.

Fireball traversing laterally across the sky between Franklin and Bargersville. I was outside smoking a cigarette, looked up, and happened to notice what at first glance appeared to be a meteor but after a few seconds I realized that it was moving laterally across the sky and not "falling" in the way that normal meteors do. By this time I also noticed that it was leaving a trail of light with a "corona" just behind the object and it disappeared from my sight after a few more seconds as it traveled north by northeast.

Fiery orbs moving into formations while dropping smaller orbs. Sitting outside with a neighbor I noticed large bright orange/yellow lights in the sky off in the horizon. We watched as the two objects seemed to come together into one, as yet more objects began to appear, starting as a small orange light and growing to the size of the others, none of which were larger than the others.
They made formations, when there were three they briefly made a triangle formation before some of the objects would either join together or slowly vanish over about a five second timespan. When there were four they briefly made a square, and when there were five they seemed to form a straight line. During our sighting these objects randomly dropped smaller objects of the same shape and color, these slowly dropped below the tree line towards the ground.
After watching for a few minutes I realized I could take video/pictures, by this time the objects had come together, almost looking like a single object, and dropped a final smaller light, I was able to get video of this, and a dozen pictures or so, before the lights faded and were gone.

Amber lights appearing from the south and moving north. Saw 3 amber colored lights that appeared to be oval in shape. There were 2 initially seen and then shortly behind those a third one appeared and came from the south and were going north.
They were silent and made sharp direction changes. We were unsure though if we more than 3 or if the 3 we first saw were going in a circle as there were trees in our line of sight.

Strange light pattern. 8.30.
2011 5:30am I stepped outside on my back deck before getting ready for work to get a breath of fresh air. The sky was still dark, dawn has not yet begun. In the South-East sky, I noticed a bright peculiar light I have never seen before in this region of the sky at this time of night/day.
I have observed nighttime skies since I was a child as I have always been fascinated with astronomy. I am familiar with the difference in characteristics between observing a planet, stars, satellites and other celestial objects. The object I observed consisted of a bright, solid, white light with less intense, flickering red and blue lights.
At first I thought it was just an airliner, but it was not moving in any direction. I thought maybe it was flying towards my direction, but after 5 mins, the lights showed no changes in intensity, height or direction. I do not believe it was a star, as it did not have characteristics as such.
I know for a fact it was not a planet, as Venus was high in the Southern sky and very bright. I continued to observe the object and it appeared to make subtle motion in a back-and-forth looping pattern, but maintained it’s general position. I got my binoculars to see if I could get a better view.
The object had no direction, but I could see red and blue lights flickering amongst a solid white light. With the binoculars, I had the depth perception and believe this object was not within our atmosphere, but within the near distance of our solar system. I called my wife outside and she observed the object as well and watched through the binoculars.
She said she witnessed a single white light with flickering red and blue lights as I described. As I continued to watch through my binoculars, the object separated and became two lights moving in a horizontal direction from each other. A few minutes later, the two lights moved back together to become one light again, with the red and blue flickering resuming.
Moments later, the light separated into two lights again and this time they moved vertically from each other. Then they slowly moved about each other and eventually came together to become just a single light again and resumed the red and blue flickering once more. Slowly, the light began to become dimmer and appeared to get smaller as if it was moving away from the Earth.
I had to go get ready for work so could not observe any longer. I will go outside again tomorrow morning and see if the light returns. I am not sure what it was, but it was not an object commonly seen in the night sky.

I was driving south on I-65 between Franklin, IN and Edinburgh, IN. I saw along both sides of the interstate 3 triangle shaped objects with 2 bright lights in the middle on the bottom of them. I opened the windows and the sunroof and could hear no engines or other sound.
I drove directly beneath one of the objects and could see the outline of the triangle against the sky. In the rear view mirror I could see that one of the objects changed to red and started sending out red lights. I was scared and didn’t stay to watch, I headed home and ran in the house.

Triangle craft hovering 5 minutes, no sound, lights, very dark black Coming home from work on rural roads, saw Triangle shape with 3 lights, 1 on each point, and one in middle, hovering over Union Elementary School location in Union Township. Stopped car and got out to observe. Was approx.
1500 feet in air, very clearly triangle shaped and absolutely no sound noted. The shape itself appeared to be deep black, darker than the night sky, almost seemed to absorb any light, and the lights did not appear to illuminate anything under it. This is in restricted military airspace for Camp Atterbury, which is located approx.
20 miles south. I observed carefully until the craft slowly moved off to the northwest. My mother had also had a sighting over our house approx.
3 miles southeast of this location on 11/8/04 of the same type of object. She notes that during her observation, the craft also had no sound and was very low to the ground. She had reported her observation to Art Bell by e-mail and still retains a copy of that e-mail.

I have seen posts with stories similar to mine. Giant triangular aircraft emitting no noise. Its strange because if an air craft so large and peculiar hovered over a crowded area, you would hear about it from everyone.
Right? Then why do I vividly remember this happening when I was 6 years old 20 years ago. Vividly. A dream? Sometimes you remember your dreams in vivid detail and sometimes you can't remember what it was even about.
I would wager that whoever is reading this right now cant remember one dream from 10 years old or younger. What makes us remember our dreams? Is it possible that some people are not remembering what happend just like a forgotten dream? One of two things happened to me, I dreamt of the giant triangular air craft hovering over hundreds of cars or it happened and no one said a word. This being 20 years ago I tend to convince myself that it was a dream.
But I find it hard to believe that after all those years I can recall every detail ! of that "dream" and yet I can't remember where my brain wondered last night while sleeping. If you want to have a serious debate on UFO's or explore evidence you have to take this into consideration. Why haven't any of these giant UFO's made the 5 o clock news? Are some of us "forgetting our dreams"? ((NUFORC Note: Semi-anonymous source.
We are uncertain as to whether this is a serious report, although we agree that it is odd that the mainstream press does no cover the UFO phenomenon. PD)) ((NUFORC Note: Source of report indicates that the date is approximate. PD)).
