Three stars in a line, left-most star begins drifting away at a slow steady pace, eventually fades away and disappears. My son and I were waiting on the bus and we saw three stars in the sky all in a line, like Orion’s belt but it was too far northeast to be Orion. We suddenly watch the left-most star begin to slowly yet steadily drift away from the other stars as it eventually disappeared, seemingly fading into the dark of the early morning sky.

I sighted an unusual flying object passing by my home that is unexplained. Generally, each morning my husband and I sit in our front living room having coffee and he reads aloud to me from a large book of philosophy that we study and discuss. We have many large windows in that room, and I am able to birdwatch and enjoy my coffee while he reads.
The sighting I am reporting was on a morning with normal weather, although not particularly bright or dark and overcast – nothing out of the ordinary. It was mid-morning and broad daylight. My street runs north and south, and we live on a high hill overlooking much of the neighborhood to the east.
We were both seated on a couch by the front windows that face east. I am used to seeing aircraft from the local airport (Michiana Regional) passing over at higher levels and we have also seen helicopters, fighter jets on Notre Dame game days, and of course birds flying over. We have eagles and hawks living nearby that we sight regularly.
What I saw was like nothing I have ever seen before, and I have found no pictures online that match anything like what I saw to help me describe it to you. The object I saw was flying much lower than any aircraft I have seen before but it was flying over the treetops of even the tall trees in my yard. I would guess the object was flying at about 300-500 feet above ground at about the same distance from my house to the east, perhaps more, but it definitely was flying between my street and Ironwood Road to the east – which is 3-4 blocks away.
The object was rectangular in shape (it reminded me of a cell phone, only double in thickness but about the same ratio in length and width). My guess is that its size was at least 50 feet long, 20-25 feet wide, and 8-10 feet thick. The object was flying straight south to north; however, it was rotating in a rather slow and steady controlled flat spin.
I noticed the spin by the reflection of light moving on the object's southern edge. The object was medium gray in color, metallic in consistency, with no visible windows, or lights observed. I did not hear any sound associated with the object – nothing other than normal household noise such as the air-conditioner, refrigerator, etc.
I cannot figure out by what method it was flying. Propulsion couldn't have been the means because it was rotating. It had no blades like a helicopter or any type of protrusions on any side because I saw all 4 sides of it as it passed and rotated.
I think it took at least a second for each side to turn away from me. I'm not sure, but I think the object was rotating in a counterclockwise manner. Of course, it happened so fast, and I was stunned trying to figure out what I was looking at so by the time I could say anything to my husband the object had gone out of view behind the large tree in our neighbor's front yard.
He did not witness it. I texted my little brother who is in the Air Force and he said he didn't know of any military equipment like what I was describing. My father was very ill at the time, I was focused on that, and I didn't know anyone to report it to – it didn't seem appropriate to report to the police, so I decided to forget about it.
Obviously, something like that is hard to forget about, and today a friend visited who works in air-traffic control who recommended this sight to report my experience. I'm not sure what good it will do, but now I feel I have done my duty to report it.

Bright lights in shape of a ball vanishes. It was twilight, light enough to see off into the distance and the sky was clear (no clouds). I was at mile marker 68 going east bound on the Indiana toll road.
I saw a big circle (basically a ball) of bright white lights, the brightest I’ve ever seen, in the air. There were no wings, no red or green lights to indicate an air plane, and nothing around it. It wasn’t like the lights you see in the air for a plane to see at night either.
As I approached and fixated on the object, the lights went off and it increased the altitude and was just gone. The object left no trail.

Gf and I witnessed 3 brilliant red flashes on the sw horizon in the black of night Sitting in car at approximately 1:00 am when my gf and I both witnessed 3 bright red flashes in the southwest sky. It lit up about 1/10th of the horizon, all the way up to the cloud layer. There were no thunderstorms or anything else to explain the brilliant red we saw.

I'm not sure it was anything special but it's the most unexplainable thing I've seen. I was standing outside sipping coffee with some co workers and it's a little dark out, before the sun came up. Suddenly there was this really bright flash streak in a woosh shape.
Like it came close but sling shot itself the other way. And the only thing left in the sky were the lights of an airplane flying in the distance. We are relatively close to an airport at my work so we see airplane lights all the time, but this was just ridiculous.

Rectangular configuration, no lights, haze or aura around it at high altitude. I was having coffee on the notth porch with our cat. I heard a helicoptor and looked up for it but it went around behind our house so i could not see it, as i Was looking up i saw a craft very high and further north Moving extremely slow.
From west to east. It looked like an Plus sign with 2 parallel bars going one way and just 1 going the other. The 3 bars were about the same length and had 3-D rectangular crossection.
They were positioned. at about 45 degs to the direction of travel, they had a haze or aura i looked away to my cat for a split second, and when i looked back it was gone.

Was maybe 5-10 feet long, about a foot wide. No wings. No way I was the only witness.
Was driving south on Miami and stopped at the intersection with Ewing. Saw this object flying straight down the road headed north at about 40 mph. Was maybe 5-10 feet long, about a foot wide.
Could not see color siliouted against the sky, but was uniform and dark. No wings, very familiar with birds, too large as well. Could see it coming from several blocks to the south and it passed directly over my car.
I whipped my head around and saw it continue to the north until I lost sight of it, unchanging in altitude or direction. Got a pretty good look as it passed maybe 15-20 feet straight over my windshield and believe me I was leaning over the dash to track it. There is no way I am the only one who saw it.
Was a nice morning and lots of cars were out. Hope to see another report, maybe someone got a pic. Was all to fast for me to get one.

4 separate bright red lights moving across the South of South Bend. My brother and I were in the driveway when I noticed at first what I thought to be a flare. As I viewed the object, I noticed it was moving to the West.
The object suddenly faded to almost a pinpoint and became white in color. After a few seconds it just vanished. That's when I noticed a second object on the same flight path come into view over the trees.
Was the same red color and very bright. It did the exact same. Faded to a white pinpoint, then vanished.
Same pattern occured two more time.

Long cigar shaped ufo near crescent moon While observing the crescent moon just before sunrise under a clear blue sky on May 10, 2018, I spied a long white cigar shaped object moving across the sky. It was just below the moon and moving fairly fast. At first glance I thought it was a jet leaving a contrail.
I then thought that if it was indeed a jet, it appeared very high up. I then noticed that the shape of the object was not changing. When the object was directly below the moon it blinked out of view and immediately reappeared.
The object moved along for a few more seconds before vanishing again and did not seem to reappear.

Witness reporteda light zig zagging and maneuvering at incredible speed Witness noticed an object with blinking lights moving at an incredibly high rate of speed and zig zagging through the sky. It would stop abruptly and then accelerate covering large distances. It also went straight up.
(Video taken) Observer was standing in hisy driveway facing west when he first saw it. When he last saw it, it was in the eastern sky. It basically travelled the north in an arc around his position.
He first noticed the object due to the pulsating lights and the erratic movements. It was also traveling incredibly fast. Witness is confident that it was not an airplane or helicopter or blimp or any other flying object that he had ever seen.
It was reportedly very high in the sky, appearing to be at an altitude of an airplane. He lost sight of the object after it traveled to the eastern sky beyond his line of sight.

Thought to be star or planet Last night I stepped out onto our patio to have a smoke and enjoy the cooler weather. My back yard faces west, with a generous rural view. Usually I I drink my morning coffee while looking at falling meteors.
After sitting down, I looked out at the night sky. Over to the northwest part of the sky, I noticed a bright yellowish star or planet, no big deal. after playing a game on my phone I looked up and the light had moved closer.
This caught my attention so I stood up to look a little longer. It was moving south east . thought it was a plane but there were no wing lights or sound.
as I watched, I called to my wife to come look at this. then all of the sudden the yellowish light changed into a a white highlighted arrow shape, it changed patterns a few times, then stayed on the arrow head shape and dissappeared. have never see anything like this ever.
as far as my personal background, I'm an artist, and my eyes are trained to see what's there not what I want to see.

About 10 red lights rising in the sky, appeared to maneuver - second sighting in five years, same part of the sky. Saw a number of red lights in the sky. Appeared to be distant.
Originated below the horizon (obscured behind buildings) and rose in the sky while moving steadily from left to right from my perspective. Lights were North and East of my position. Lights moved with constant speed but did not follow a constant path.
Vertical component of velocity changed - lights changed rate of rise and at some points descended. Horizontal component seemed steady. Saw about 10 total lights.
Initially saw them when coming around the corner of a building that obscured the sky and immediately say about 7 in the same part of the sky. No obvious formation to them but they were all in the same few minutes of arc in the sky. One by one the lights faded and disappeared.
As the last of the original lights disappeared a new one rose into view, then another, then another at wide intervals. They all rose and then disappeared as the original 7 did. Did not appear to be flares as they steadily rose and covered a very large distance (assuming hey were far away, as was my impression.
) Again, they appeared to change vertical component of velocity several times. My sense was they were maneuvering. I have seen this phenomena before in the same part of the sky from a nearby (2 miles away) location about five years ago.
I am an avid airplane enthusiast, an atheist, and a general skeptic - I am not prone to false beliefs and delusion. These were not aircraft lights or flares. I do not believe they are alien craft but I cannot explain them by phenomena known to me.

Craft repeatedly above the South Bend airport (drone or what?) I have seen a strange object in the sky for well over a year. It appears to be hovering above the south bend airport. It is definitely not a star or satellite.
I have seen this thing many times and it does move. I can't tell if this is some sort of craft used by the airport or military and I can't find anything about this object. I was wondering if its some sort of drone, but it stays in the sky for a long time and the lights on it are extremely bright.
I've seen it with different lights (red, green and white ) and not always the same. I don't have any sophisticated equipment to get a good look at it. I've tried a cheap telescope, but I can't make out any definitive shape, although it clearly wasn't anything I've seen before.
I would imagine someone else besides my family has seen this thing and if so, maybe someone knows something. All I want to know is what this is.

Four lights in a stright line hovering in a stationary position. My family and I were driving east on Douglas Rd. just before Grape Road in South Bend, near Mishawaka.
It was snowing and very cold and windy. About 1/2 mile before Grape Rd. I saw 4 white lights in a straight line in the sky just to my right (south).
At first I figured it was an airplane heading to the airport, but then I realized the lights weren't moving--they were just staying in one place. I pointed it out to my wife and kids and they all saw it too. We couldn't figure out what it was.
As we got near it, it finally began to move to the west in a straight line. It was definitely not a helicopter because the lights didn't match any that I know of, and I put my window down and didn't hear anything. The only thing we could guess it might be was a drone, but for a drone to be flying in that kind of weather just doesn't make sense.
It was probably 200 yards or so off the ground. I didn't see any sort of the "typical" saucer shape, nor did it fly off at incredible speeds, but we couldn't identify it, therefore to us it remains a ufo, and I wanted to report it for what it's worth.

Bright light in the sky at first looked like a bright planet that didn't move and once we got closer to it, you could see the light reflecting off the surface like a round ball, then it moved first to the right then up then to the left and flew away, too fast for our car to keep up.
