Lights in the sky It is 3:30 am and driving home from work I noticed alot of blinking lights way up in the sky which did not seem to move much. I cannot imagine that many airplanes at that time of night. The colors of the lights were red, green and white.

They were too far up to see a shape. ((NUFORC Note: Possible sighting of twinkling stars, we wonder?? PD)).

Gathering of a dozen or more orange lights in the northeastern sky - a "gathering" In the northeastern sky, a very bright orange light was observed, not moving and stationary against the background sky. Thinking this was just an aircraft moving in my line of sight (stationary), I opened the blinds to get a better look, only to discover three more bright orange lights below this object, moving towards it. No sounds of aircraft was present.

The lights joined up, formed a semi-circle, then the end light faded away leaving the remaining three lights to form a triangle (picture available), only to fade away as if moving into a fog. From the East, more orange lights continued to appear sometimes two or three at a time moving through the tree line, joining up with the other objects, pausing, then fading away. At any given moment, there was a dozen lights in the sky.

It was as if this was a "gathering". This gathering lasted 20 minutes.

Bright slow light in the sky moving from NW to SW like a satellite but very much brighter July 7th 2010 My 14 year old son and I were outside cleaning up @ 10:47 PM. When we saw a bright light moving slowly across the sky from NW to SE. The bright light did not have any blinking navigation lights so I knew it was not an airplane.

There were airplanes in the area though and they all had blinking nav. Lights on. This bright light was going about the same speed as a satellite maybe a little bit faster but much slower than a meteor.

It flew across the entire sky and then was gone. The light just vanished. This was a very intense light like something from spot light from far away.

I wonder if it was the international space station. I don’t know. I have never seen this before.

Yellow/Orange Lights On 4th of July at about 10:45-11:00pm I witnesses two orange/yellow fireballs traveling W/NW. I was visiting my cousins and we were outside shooting fireworks until about 11:30. These particular lights caught my eye because they seemed to be much higher and traveling much faster (and more deliberately) than anything else in the sky.

I thought they were flares with the usual red color distorted by smoke traveling horizontally dues to a light wind we had. After reading some of the other area sighting, however, I am having second thoughts. The lights resembled the video of the Phoenix lights I have seen in luminosity and color.

The traveled though the air, one following the next, at the same velocity and same altitude. I only saw them briefly and didn’t think much of it at the time and went back to blowing stuff up. We shot off and watched a lot of fireworks that night but these lights definitely caught my eye due to how unusual and out of place they were.

Later that night on our way back home to Bellingham I saw a single light, just like the two I saw about an hour earlier in Bothell , in the Marysville area while driving on I-5. Identical in every way except that it was alone and appeared to be stationary. I, again, wrote it off as a flare, even commenting to my wife how thick the firework smoke must be to distort the color so much.

With the other reports I’m starting to think what I saw may have been something else since it resembles what other witnesses report seeing around the same time frame in the same vicinity.

Two smoothly gliding, glowing orange orbs over Bothell, WA, with photograph. Animated movie from prior sighting of 1997. We call this event "The July Orb" because we have witnessed this twice before, all in July.

The event this year, 2010, was over Bothell, WA. An orange, glowing orb silently and smoothly cruised from North to South in the same way a satellite would move, but was only as high up as a helicopter would fly. Myself, two other adults and two children also saw it.

My camera was at the ready to photograph our fireworks and to pause light in the sky, and I was able to take a photograph! The camera zoom is a 12x. While the photo shows a tail, this is only due to the shutter being open as the orb moved. The falling tail in the photo is due to me trying to find it to focus.

Perhaps someone can figure out the size of this orb and it's speed based on these details! Our neighbor came by and as I showed him the picture and explained what we saw he asked "Do you mean like THAT!?" Pointing up, there was the same thing, moving in the same direction. HISTORY Event 1: I first saw this same orb over Bothell WA, July 1997, and called Mr. Davenport to report it.

I was so amazed that I created an animated version because it was hard for others to believe there was no other way to describe it other than a mystery object. It also moved North to South, slowing and silently gliding. However, the object was closer than the described 2010 event as I could see it pass behind trees in front of me.

Event 2: July 2009, Couer D'Alene Idaho, 11 or 12 pm. My husband and my sister witnessed this same orb while sitting on the dock (south and west end of the lake). However, it raised vertically from behind a home on the same cove about 6 or 7 houses south, or the trees behind it.

It glided silently and smoothly up, then past them and over the lake and then just disappeared. The next day they went door to door hoping others had seen this, but no one had.
