UFO sighted moving toward shore on st George island and then another was seen moving away back over the gulf. My husband and I were staying at the Buccaneer Bay Inn and went out to look at the stars after dinner. It was approximately 9:30 pm when I noticed a moving object in the stars.
The light was pinkish in color and stayed solid. It moved across the sky very quickly. It was faster than any normal aircraft.
My husband is a sceptic and couldn’t believe what he was seeing. Approximately 5 minutes later another moving object went back across the sky in the opposite direction. It was very clear this evening and other normal aircraft were easily identified.
As these object moved across the sky I pointed it out to people passing by and they stopped to view it also. My husband is a service manager for a dealer in Tallahassee and I am a retired nurse, I also worked for Northrop Grumman Aerospace for 7 years and I am familiar with aircrafts.

Large craft with amber lights fades into and out of view, as if it had a cloaking device. And another chevron shape with red lights. Second night in a row, but much different objects this time.
We were looking in a southeasterly direction to Mars. Then about our 11o’clock position there faded in what appeared to be a very large semi-circular craft that was light by four extremely large amber glowing lights. The lights emanated from the one craft along the edge of it, and it was quite large.
The ambient light seemed to sort of show a much larger depth to the craft. The dark part was in the shadow of the light, but it was darker than the sky. It felt like if the entire craft was illuminated that it would be absolutely massive.
Then it faded out, but the strange thing was, even though it was faded out, it felt like it was still there. My twin 17 year old daughters and I held our breath during the event. And even though this subject matter is extremely intriguing to me, something about this, for a millisecond it felt ominous.
The next lights we saw, a few minutes later, were chevron shaped facing southwest. It had multiple red lights forward, and it seem to be emitting, or dropping glowing gold orbs that did not make it to the water. Again it was about 30-40 degrees up from our horizon.
This sighting was more complex and sort of ominous than the previous night. Different clusters of lights and crafts. We are vacationing here on the island for another week and I intend to be watching the skies from our back deck every night.
I am a 54 year old woman, my husband is 59 and my twin daughters will be 18 y are old next week. I grew up in San Diego, where my father was an aero-space engineer. So.
I’ve always had an affinity for aeronautics, space travel, and the strong possibility of other lifeforms in the universe and galaxies beyond. These are the only incidents I have ever been lucky enough to witness.

Red round objects appearing with one that had three stationary red lights, then vanishing after 20-30 seconds. We had checked the sky guide on our smartphone to identify Mars which was on our horizon. Our goal of the evening was to watch the ISS orbit at 22:30 over our area.
My daughters excitedly called for me to come see something else in the sky. A circular, red object appeared, seemingly out of nowhere, and held its position for approximately 20-30 seconds then faded out of sight completely. One of my daughters actually had binoculars in hand and viewed it through that.
It was an opaque red, with an orange-ish halo effect. We kept vigil on the deck and about ten minutes later two separate ones appeared with one about 15 to 20 degrees off the horizon, a little to the left of Mars, and then way off to the right there was another one simultaneous, and higher in the sky. Astonished, we waited and for the last sighting of the night, one red light appeared, while the other two appeared in apprimately the same area and degree of the first sighting.
But what made this even more fascinating was that this last one actually started with one red light, then added another red light, and then another. For a total of three red lights seeming to be on one object, slightly angled. It reminded me of the lights coming on in the Phoenix lights case.
Except this was much smaller, at least from our vantage point. And then all five lights in the sky vanished and that was the last we saw of the red lights. I am a ((deleted--fiftyish)) year old woman on vacation with my husband and my twin 17 year old daughters.
We have been coming to this island for 12 summers in a row. The girls will celebrate their birthday on August 1st. Who is also my husband and my 20th anniversary.
I have a B.A. in journalism and a post graduate teaching degree.
I’m originally from San Diego and am well aware of military exercises and such. My father was an aero-space engineer who worked for Convair and Lockheed Martin, back in the 60’s and 70’s and was present for at least one of the Gemini space shots from Cape Canaveral. As I sit here writing on our back deck, we were absolutely astonishing led to see an Osprey perform a flyover our beach from southwest to northeast.
And it didn’t look like he was over 500 feet. IT WAS AMAZING. But, that does not take away from the fact that what we saw last night was totally unidentifiable.
I would also like to state that I AM a believer in the UFO community. There is just no way we can be the only lifeforms in this vast universe! ((NUFORC Note: We spoke with the source of this report, and we found her to be unusually eloquent and serious minded. We suspect that she is a very skilled, and reliable, witness.

Red-orange, round objects appearing with one that had three lights, and they vanished after 20-30 seconds after each time. My sister and I were sitting out on our porch, looking at the stars and waiting for the ISS to fly over, when I noticed 2 orange-red glowing orbs in the sky to the right of Mars. They glowed for just a few seconds and then faded out.
We called our mom outside to come and watch for them to show up again. It was about 10-15 minutes later that they showed up again further to the left of where we had previously seen them. It was just 2 that time also.
And after 5-10 more minutes, 3 of the orbs of light in a cluster and 2 single ones in separate areas appeared and faded out and then they came back in separate areas of the sky. The 3 lights that were together seemed as if it was part of one "craft." That was our last sighting of them and they seemed to be further out above the ocean than the first sightings.
I was able to look at them two different times through binoculars and the objects looked about as big as Mars, but seemed to glow more rather than being solid form. It looked like the center was red with an orange glow around it. I honestly have never seen anything like this and have never really been a big believer in UFOs, but now I think I've changed my mind.
When I first saw the lights appear, my mind didn't go to a drone, airplane, or anything of the sort. I couldn't think of anything that the lights could be. So, I know it has to be something other than normal aircraft.

Strange light follows two bikers on road trip On October 17, 2017, my friend and I were on a motorcycle trip from Mobile, AL, to Daytona, FL. We had stopped off at St. George Island, which is just south of Apalachicola FL, to check out a pub that’s on the island.
We decided to leave the island around dusk, maybe 7p. As we were heading back North on the bridge that connects St George Island to the mainland, I noticed a red light that kind of peaked up about level, with the bridge to where I could see it. It was hard to tell exactly how big it was or its shape, but it seemed to me that it was about the size of a small car.
It was off the west side of the bridge about 30 yards away and over water. We were miles from the mainland about the middle of the bridge. I was quite puzzled as to what this light may be.
Just about then it seemed to lock in on our speed and started following us. We must have been doing about 65 mph. I was the lead bike with my friend in the rear.
This light followed us for several minutes and then it went away. It was hard for me to see where it went as I was mostly concentrating on the road ahead of me. After crossing the bridge I immediately pulled over and so did my friend.
We just kind of looked at each other for a minute puzzled. Finally, as I began to ask him what in the hell was that, he says to me, “I don’t know!”.

bright green light sphere with orange/amber circle, emitting 5 additional lights off the coast of St. George Island, Fl On Wednesday, 15 Oct, 2014 myself and one other witnessed a bright green light sphere with a slender orange/amber circle far in the distance and high in the eastern night sky off the coast of St. George Island, FL in the Gulf of Mexico.
We had rented a beach front home in the Plantation area, which is at the west end of the island. We noticed the light around 11:00PM EDT. There is virtually no light pollution at St.
George Island, and it was very clear that night with plenty of stars and you could see the Milky Way Galaxy clearly. The light did not move or flicker at all and was present for over 2 hrs. We went to bed around 1:00 AM and the light was still in the exact same spot; no change.
The next night (Thursday, 16 Oct, 2014) we were sitting on the front deck of the house around 10:00 PM EDT with our family members (total of 5), when we noticed the same light that we saw on Wednesday, but only the light had moved from the east to the west/south west. Again, way off in the distance and high in the sky over the ocean. We watched the light for a while, and then all of a sudden 5 additional lights lit up one at a time in 2 second intervals until all were lit.
They were in a straight vertical pattern from right to left of the main object; the 5 lights were equal distance apart, stationary and didn’t move and were crystal clear/bright. They were slightly smaller than the main object/light. The 5 additional lights were bright orange/red, but the main light was green with a slender orange/red circle.
Once all 5 additional lights were lit they stayed on for 15 to 20 seconds and then went dark at the same time, while the main object/light stayed lit and did not move. Then approximately 3 to 5 minutes later the exact same thing/pattern happened again. In total it did this 3 times and on the 3rd time the 5 lights and main light went dark at the exact same time and didn’t not appear again, just vanished.
We stayed at the Island until Saturday, 18 Oct 2014, but we did not see the object(s) and/or light(s) again. Observers: 3 females/2 males - Director of Training, Senior Software Engineer, Training Manager, Retired Small Business Owner, Retired Teacher.

3 amber lights over the Gulf. I'm at the beach and have seen this set of lights 2 nights in a row over the Gulf. I'm on St George Island one mile to the East of the highway that leads to the island.
Last night I saw these three amber lights at approximately the same time of evening but during a rain shower and same approximate location. There are 3 lights with one lighting and when it starts to fade another one lights up, the first goes out and the second one is on for approx 2 seconds, starts to fade and the 3rd one lights up and the 2nd one goes out. Last night I saw this in a diagonal to the upper right pattern with the bottom light starting the sequence.
Tonight it was in a horizontal pattern with the lights lighting from left to right. There's a full moon right now with a total eclipse "Blood Moon" that happened this morning.

My girlfriend and I went to go take a walk on the beach at night and when we got to the beach we saw a perfect neon green circle out over the middle of the ocean. It looked like a glowing green ring. As we looked at it it slowly faded away as if the light was burning out.

Orange Fireball that fizzled out. I was driving on West Gulf Beach Drive and saw a glowing light in the sky. There are lots of wispy clouds here tonight and it was in front of the clouds.
I noticed it because it never blinked like an airplane or moved after 2 minutes. It stayed in the same spot. It was completely orange and glowy, it never moved.
I drove to West Gorrie Drive which is the road in front of the beach (this object was seen in the clouds on the beach side) to get a closer view. Again, it did not move it sat there as I stopped in the road. It finally fizzled out, the light went dim in a few seconds.
It never moved, but went dim. I stayed in the area looking for any light/airplane a the clouds but nothing ever appeared again. The object was round in shape like a fireball, never blinking or moving, just glowing orange.

three large bright red, slow moving "shooting stars" seen over the Gulf of Mexico. Each was followed by sonic vibrations Sitting on the beach looking into the southern sky over the water saw one bright red object move slowly over the sky. Looked like a very large, slow moving, red shooting star.
It lasted for about 10 seconds. It was followed by a loud and long, low frequency sonic vibration. About 15 minutes later two similar objects appeared simultaneously at a different location in the southern sky.
These objects were also followed by a loud s.

Red Lights seen over Gulf of mexico from St George Island Florida Red lights seen over Gulf of Mexico from ST. George Island. My new wife and I were sitting on the porch at our rental beach house on St George Island Florida March 6,2007 between 9 and 9:30 PM.
We were looking south over the Gulf in the sky and she thought she saw a red shooting star, although it really didn’t move and didn’t look like any shooting star we had seen before. We both then saw several strange red lights appear horizontally in the sky, anywhere from a 10PM to 2PM radius (if you were to use a clock as a comparison). Then within a few minutes they came back and did the same thing again.
A few minutes later much closer in the gulf, a single red/white light appeared and lit up the gulf like a sunrise would reflect on the water, then vanished. The light at one point would start off as one light then seem to turn with two lights coming towards you, then disappear. One theory we had was that there were jets from Pensacola Air Station, maybe practicing in the gulf at night with fake ammo, although I called the station and they mentioned that they usually don’t train at night.

I was facing south, looking over the Gulf of Mexico at the full moon that was rising. One by one, red lights appeared to the east of the moon. They were bright and silent.
They formed a sideways chevron, then disapeared, one by one in the order they appeared. The entire event lasted pehaps one minute.

crafts were motionless, lights illuminated in a circular pattern with a blinding flash near the larger craft Craft was still couldnt see outline but the 5 lights made a circle to the left of us, while a 2nd craft was to the right with 3 lights. The larger craft with 5 lights had 1 very bright almost blinding light come out of it, this light illuminated a large portion of the ocean & shore. The people that were fishing on the shore couldnt explain the lights either, most people sat just staring like in a trance.
After 2 hrs of walking on the beach the lights went off one by one and didnt see anything else, until 2 days later when my wife & i saw the craft again at 22:00 but it didnt stay long & it was gone. Both times that we saw this event we heard nothing,& the craft didnt move at all!The lights were a whitish orange and bright. When i asked a fisherman what is that he replied, we see lights out here all the time we pay it no mind.
What kind of answer is that?.

Bright point of light travelling south to north, zig-zagged, stopped, slowed, instantly resumed speed. On top of beach house with three friends looking for meteors and satellites. Saw 3 meteors, and six satellites.
Then, noticed what appeared to be a satellite coming from south in region of Scorpio, about 35 degrees above horizon. - Magnitude between that of Saturn and Polaris. - Shape was a point.
- Color was bright yellow/white. Object followed a trajectory that first arched westward, then northward where it disappered around 40 degrees above the norther horizon. Along its trajectory from south to north, the object zig-zagged, slowed down, then instantaneously resumed orginal speed several times.
Zig-zag pattern was around trajectory path from south to north. If its path were drawn, it would look like a schematic of series electronic resistors. Amplitude of zig-zag was about 5/16" (width of my little finger nail) held at arm's length, and seemed to be in groups of four of five over a distance of 1 1/4" (distance from first joint of little finger to tip) held at arm's length.
The object seemed to do the zig-zag pattern, straighten out for about 1" at arm's length, then repeat the pattern in the opposite direction. It would then repeat this pattern. When object slowed, zig-zag motion ceased.
Before I saw the object the witness who saw it first saw it stop a couple of times. I did not see it stop, but I did notice it slow down about three times and resume its original speed as it passed through the ecliptic. I cannot say that the object was self-illuminated, however, it did not behave in a fashion indicating reflected light, or a spinning satellite (these tend to sinusoidally vary in brightness, i.
e., "pulse").

We were sitting on the front porch of our beach house and out of no where big orange lights with no sound appeared The first I saw was 3 big orange lights and No sound. The first light came on and then as it was going out the second light came on and was going out and the third light came on. It did this with three lights twice and then moved a little to the west and then five lights came on like described earlier.
Then we wer looking in the same spot for it again and then about forty miles to the east of first location five lights came on and you could see a triangular shape, it did this in this spot two or three times and then went back to it's original starting point and lit up five lights and then went farther out to sea and lit up three lights. Within five minutes we saw and HEARD 3 fighter planes in the sky above us screaming towards Panama City one of them hung back and went towards the north. We didn't see the "strange" orange lights anymore after we spotted the planes.
