All Reported UFO Sightings in Cape Coral, Florida

A blinking green light moving rapidly horizontally from west to east and then east to west I was sitting on my back pool area, facing south, talking to my son on the phone when something caught my attention. It was a bright green light moving rapidly from my right to left. My first split-second thought was that it was a meteor or shooting star.

I am a retired air traffic controller and have observed quite a few things over my decades of service, none of which I have not been able to explain. Space junk burning up, meteorites, etc. In a second or two the light blinked off and back on as it traveled perfectly horizontally, very rapidly.

No aircraft other than a fighter jet could be moving that fast, close, and low but there was no sound and only the one green light. I should have observed a red light if it were an aircraft traveling from my right to left. The light disappeared behind my neighbor's trees and I kept looking for it to reappear past the trees.

As I was describing this to my son, the object reappeared, this time moving east to west and somwhat closer to me. Same thing - rapidly moving, slowly blinking green light and not a sound. I opened my phone camera, preparing to take a video if it came by a third time.

After about three minutes searching for it, it gave up. The sun had set but it was still quite bright to the west.

Actually, had three sightings. Daughter told me what she saw I came outside and then I saw it too. I tried to take pic, too fast It was a spherical, very shiny, very bright, metallic, looking object.

That’s what caught your attention, the fact that it was very shiny and bright even though we could tell it was very far away as fast as she could grab a Phone it disappeared. She alerted me to the object so I went outside and didn’t see anything for several minutes and then there it was we both saw it very quickly. It was not moving.

It was stationary and then boom it was gone! I suppose it could have been a meeting, a light making it so shiny, but it appeared more metallic, than lit.

Large shape changing triangular orb like light rays producing object Around 11pm my fiancé saw why he thought was a very bright star. I told him no? It must be a plane as I saw it moving. We started watching further and saw a large, sometimes triangular, sometimes orb like, object/mass that was staying stationary in the sky but sometimes moving closer/farther.

With various light rays at different times. We used a gun spotter scope to see closer and observed a large orb like object that sometime appeared triangular like with various light ray like things at what would be the “points”. At the end of its dissapearancd it had a large blue like light trail before departing.

Also, when we zoomed into it 40x zoom it appeared to be a large grey swirly like “disc”.

Looking outside at the stars when I noticed one of the stars was flashing colors. I zoomed in on my phone and was able to see The longer I watched the closer this object came, I was able to hear it and feel it as it got closer. The temperature felt as though it dropped 10-20 degrees and I could feel wind starting to blow.

My pool pump suddenly turned on by itself and began over flowing the hot tub into the pool. As the UFO got closer, clouds began to roll in and cover the area making the pictures and videos look slightly distorted and different. I have many many photos and videos of all of this.

I heard what sounded like a sonic boom, which I also have on video, I assume possibly military craft following the UFO, although I did not see any military craft following the UFO. During this time I opened my computer on my phone and was unable to get any reading, even with closing the app and re opening it multiple times.

I have a video of the sighting, I want someone else to view it to rule out aircraft or Chinese lanterns I was out fishing on my dock when I seen the weird lights, so I started filming it with my I phone if you zoom in on the video the lights are pulsating.

white round objects, later a flash of bright red light I took two videos that contained around 10 plus white round objects, in one video a red flash occurred 90 seconds into the video that was very fast and not in a straight line. The round white objects sometimes just stayed hovering and some disappeared and reappeared. I was looking for the Milky Way when I noticed all these.

These were taken in a very dark sky using my Samsung Galaxy fold 3 smartphone with no flash used. Objects made no noise and had no exhaust. No lights on objects.

My wife and I was walking the dogs at 8:30pm. I was looking up at Mars and directly above head a triangle shaped craft was travling south in direction. The triangle had very dim rectangle lights at each point.

The craft appeared to have a vibrational hue around the lights. It was also colorless or almost as if it was cloaked. There was no sound coming from th his craft either.

It appeared to be very close, maybe 100 feet above head.

east to west diamond red yellow lights got home went on back porch to smoke a cigarette .saw a strange formation of lights , going east to west , my backyard faces south.no sound .

red/yellow lights in a box diamond formation.i was in such awe i never thought to grab my phone to video it.it lasted at least 15-20 mins .

date might be off because i never talked about it for months .it was like 20 degrees to start then went closer to me and continued to the Northwest and seemed to expand the formation as it went above my house.

Light moving sporadically over SW Florida coast I am a resident of Cape Coral, Florida. I am retired from the Missouri Judiciary and a former pilot. This evening, April 29, 2020, approximately 10:00PM eastern time I noticed a light about the brightness of a bright star southwest of my position which would have put it over Sanibel Island, Florida.

It was approximately 30 degrees off the horizon on a mostly clear evening. The light seemed to be a cluster of lights or a larger object that had rotating lights on it. I watched the light for approximately 25 minutes.

During that time it maintained its position in the sky but its movements were very sporadic. I used a pair of 10 X 50 binoculars and positioned the light adjacent to a power pole so I could better determine the object’s movements. I discount the idea that it was a drone because the movements were so erratic.

Based on my observation using the power pole as a reference I estimate the movements were several hundred feet in all directions. The lights were of various colors from red, green blue and white. The colors were very vibrant.

The colors diminished later to mostly white. The object started to slowly descend over a period of time and was finally obstructed from my view. I had seen a similar object several times in the sky at my home in central Missouri.

Just watched a bunch of small lights heading northeast coming from area of Orion . Very small like when satellites go by- wondering if it’s all of Musk’s satellites or is something crazy going on - some here father apart and some in closer clumps - all heading. The same direction- I stopped counting at 40 .

about the size of satellites or ISS when it goes by. not seeing anymore .and its6:10 am.

Huge green flash and Oval shape shooting in the sky at very low altitude and disappearing leaving nothing Driving down Chiquita Blvd towards Cape Parkway we both were looking out and saw on the left side (east) This huge green/blue light shoot across the sky at a very low altitude it was definitely oval, disc shape. It pop up out of nowhere and shot straight across and disappearing not leaving anything behind and again it was massive in size and very low.

Orange blinking light making very fast unusual maneuvers over Cape Coral, FL At approximately 7:35 pm this evening, on 2/27/2019, my wife and I both noticed an unusual orange rapidly blinking light dropping very fast out of the sky at a unique downward angle (we see lots of planes RSW airport nearby). The blinking orange light then made a swift downward 45-degree change in the opposite direction and went behind a small cloud. We both stopped dead in our tracks to see this object return again from the cloud, but it never came out of the small cloud.

We stood there approximately five more minutes and only noticed the normal planes coming in and out of Fort Myers airport. There was a drone flying in the area during the time of the sighting, and what we saw was not a drone. The blinking light we saw did not match the speed or appearance of which this drown was flying.

The blinking light also did not match the speed or presence of any airplanes flying in the area as well.

Green ball shooting through sky and illuminating clouds around it. It was nighttime and I was in my car going 25 mph, when I saw a green streak of light shoot through the sky in SW Cape Coral. It illuminated the clouds around it and it happened too fast for it to have been a drone, firework, or plane.

It couldn't have been a shooting star either as it was a bright circular green ball that was no higher than the mesosphere as it, once again, illuminated the clouds around it. It did not leave a trail behind it.

Looking up the night was cloudy when I saw a light blue circular object with a long tail and a shorter stretch in the front. UFO over South West Florida? @ 2:55am EST On October 12, 2018, I observed a flying object, light blue in color encompassed in a halo roughly a quarter of the size as the object but the color was a light blue but almost white in appearance. It was headed 60 degrees NE “rapidly”.

Bright enough where I could feel my pupils dilate like a bright flash hit my eyes. The weirdest thing is that the object just didn’t seem bright enough to cause the effect it had on my eyes. Whatever it was, the object was muffled by the cloudy overcast night.

The object seemed to be circular in shape with a equally sized tail. The front portion had a glow about half the size as the tail, shaped the same way as the tail yet, not as bright. The object faded in and I observed it for approximately 6-8 seconds when it just as quietly and quickly as it appeared, it slowly faded out.

I desperately looked for a continuation of the sighting however, watching the path I observed it in, it never reappeared, not a glow or anything. ((name deleted)).

Large cloud structure north east of Cape Coral with a slowly descending light orb projecting light back into cloud structure. Duration of descent roughly 5-10 minutes until no longer visible on horizon of trees and buildings. Cloud still present in sky and not fading with the sunrise.

A row of Five or more balls of fire looking objects moving steadily towards the East in Cape Coral, Florida. On March 5, 2018 at approximately 7:48 p.m.

five or more bright reddish-orange lit moving objects (looked like fireballs), were quickly heading East through the sky visible from my front yard in Cape Coral, Florida. As I face my house, they were fairly high in the sky and behind my home. I ran next door and knocked on my neighbor’s door (no answer), then went into my house, unleashed my dog and grabbed my cell phone to take a photo.

By 7:51, they were almost entirely out of sight to the East. My photo was nothing more than a tiny white speck by then. At that point, a helicopter was in the spot where the UFOs had been.
