I took a photo of the storm clouds and noticed the ufo, green lights later. I wasn't aware of it at the time. The shape is a uniform diamond/circular with sets of rectangular green lights at each point.
Only three of the sets are visible. If there is a fourth set, it is very faint in the photo. The sets of lights on the left and right are horizontal, and the set of lights on the front center are vertical.
They are a very bright, distinct green glow.

Cylindrical Shaped UFO w/ Bright Reflective Panels Hovers Over Ft. Walton Beach, Florida On Thursday morning, 23 September 2021, my family and I waded in the waters of the Gulf of Mexico on the shoreline of Fort Walton Beach on Okaloosa Island, Florida, behind the Marriott Fairfield Inn & Suites, where we stayed for our trip to the area. Fairfield Inn & Suites is located at 540 Santa Rosa Boulevard, in Ft.
Walton Beach, Florida. We had flown into Pensacola International Airport the previous evening, and Thursday morning around 09:00 AM was our first opportunity to walk and explore along the beach behind the hotel, and enjoy the warm Gulf waters and look for shells. The sky was clear and beautiful, with the Sun shining high and bright in the eastern part of the sky, a prelude to the nice day ahead of us.
Shortly after 10:00 AM local time, Central Standard Time (CST) [11:00 AM EST], we started to head back to the beach access boardwalk, and return to the hotel. My wife and daughter were ahead of me, as I looked out towards the sky across the Gulf waters. There were a few other people standing approximately 50-60 feet out beyond the shoreline in the water, when I spotted a faint dark object in the sky above them.
The object appeared to maneuver closer towards the beach. I have followed military and civil aviation developments since my childhood and recognize a broad variety of fixed wing and rotary wing aircraft. I was therefore naturally curious to see what aircraft might be approaching the area.
Earlier in the morning, I observed different types of aircraft flying above us, and heading southwards over the Gulf of Mexico, and as I came to note during our stay, there was frequent flight traffic overhead in the Fort Walton/Destin area throughout the day. I knew that just across the Choctawhatchee Bay, northeast of Fort Walton Beach, there was Eglin Air Force Base (AFB), which conducts development and testing of tactical air weapons and armaments for the U.S.
Air Force; and to the West was Naval Air Station (NAS) Pensacola, the hub of naval aviation training and home of the U.S. Navy Blue Angels aerobatic demonstration team.
Further down the eastern coastline, close to Panama City, was Tyndall AFB, which houses the 325th Fighter Wing that! trains all F-22 Raptor pilots, and in the past hosted the Air Force’s biennial William Tell air-to-air weapons competition. I stopped walking in the sand and stood silently facing the water to see if I could recognize the vehicle in the sky that was approaching us overhead. I didn’t call out to my wife and daughter, because I assumed this was a conventional aircraft, and that was of no interest to them.
It is also for this reason that I did not immediately pull out my mobile phone from my pocket, to take pictures or a video of the object, as I had already taken pictures of my family while we hunted for sea shells and other things. As the object approached closer to the beach, I observed it was a cylindrical shaped object, hovering nearly vertical in the sky, at a slight angle tilting forward. It was black or a dark color, with some panel lines that could be made out in the bright sky.
The vehicle featured shiny longer extensions that protruded at the upper end from either side of its thin tube-shaped body. These extensions reflected bright in the clear morning sky, almost as if they glowed ! at irregular intervals. They looked similar to solar panels extending from the sides of a space satellite.
The object made no apparent sound that I could hear, although it appeared to hover above the water at a distance of about 500 feet, and perhaps 700 feet in the air. As I viewed the shape and configuration of this object, I tried to associate its features with an aircraft, manned or unmanned, that I might be familiar with, so I could clearly reference it. I did initially think this might be a new type of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), and perhaps a hovering helicopter drone, similar to what I believe the U.
S. Navy experimented with in the past – I think back in the 1990s – to provide a shipborne scout and reconnaissance drone. That vehicle had a set of coaxial rotor blades aerodynamically integrated into a fairly large curvy, hourglass-shaped body, but which never made it into production.
I could not remember the manufacturer or the designation of that vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) vehicle but could probably be referenced in a past Jane’s All the World’s Aircraft volume. The object in the sky appeared to have a conceptual resemblance to this past defense project, at first. I initially thought that, because of the protruding p! anels that, from a distance, and when the vehicle was at a level perspective, appeared to be in the shape of rotating blades, like a conventional helicopter.
In addition to its protruding extensions, the vehicle had several needle-like extensions below the cylindrical body that were angled outwards; maybe antenna or sensors of some kind. However, since the object made no sound, and there was no downwash from any turning rotor blades onto the surface of the water, it quickly became clear to me that this was not a conventional air vehicle moving in the sky but something else. Moreover, it appeared to observe the aforementioned people in the water, close to the shoreline.
Had the object made any apparent sound, those people would have turned their heads to the sky to also view what I was seeing from the beach. But they did not; the 2-3 people in the water were oblivious to the hovering object in the sky that was closing in on them, from what I could tell, and continued to talk and go about their business, uninterrupted. I called out to wife and daughter that I was observing something in the sky that I wanted them to see.
I did say that I thought it might be a UFO, or unidentified flying object, or some kind of unknown type of UAV. My wife stopped walking, as she was almost at the beach access ramp, and turned around to walk back towards me, and see what I was watching. She called out for me to take a video of it, and I reached down into my pocket to grab my phone and activate the video mode.
During this time, I observed how the object came to what was probably its closest point to the beach, possibly around 400 feet within the beach and 500 feet in altitude, and hovered at an angle to “observe” the people in the water. It rotated slightly around its axis, as the protruding silver-colored panels reflected bright against the sunlight. The people below took no visible note of the vehicle, from what I could discern.
Judging by the altitude and distance of the object to the people in the water, I roughly estimated the main body of the vehicle to be larger than a 6-foot tall man, possibly around 8-10 feet in height, with the total span across the panels measuring approximately 15-18 feet. The most peculiar aspect of this encounter was that the object then appeared to “notice” that I had observed its presence, and as I tried to point my cellphone to the sky in its direction, the vehicle took off at great speed out over the water into the Gulf. It made no sound as it flew out, to quickly put a large distance between it and the shoreline.
By the time I had activated the video camera on my phone and recorded as closely as a I could zoom in onto the object, it was already far out over the water, perhaps at a distance of over 3,000 feet away from the beach. The video has a creation timestamp of 10:04 AM CST [11:04 AM EST], and has a runtime of 45 seconds. Due to the bright daylight of the morning Sun, it was difficult to make out the object in the sky with my cellphone and focus in on it.
It was also challenging to clearly view anything on the phone screen, let alone see small, faint objects that the camera might acquire. The only reference point in the sky I had was to note the object’s reflection, so I would not entirely miss recording the event. As I pointed the lens of my phone camera in the object’s approximate direction, I was able to catch intermittent glimpses of the distant object, as its panels reflected back sunlight in the clear sky, but no details of the vehicle in the video can be discerned.
As the object flew away from the beach, it seems to have also moved east and westwards some degrees across the Gulf sky, since I had trouble locating it while panning my phone around. The entire encounter lasted approximately three minutes. To my knowledge, the object did not return during the time that we stayed at Fort Walton Beach, nor did I have any other encounters with unknown types of air vehicles during this trip.
The object I saw on 09/23/21 was not of a design or had features that were anything similar to a conventional aircraft, with no apparent energy source and control surfaces to provide lift, and that would allow it to fly or hover in the manner it displayed. It appeared to me to be under intelligent control.

Formation encircling air space above Eglin AFB On Tuesday 01/19/21 at approx 19:00 hours I was walking my dogs when I saw a strange light in the sky. It was stationary and hovering in one spot. It had colored lights that flashed.
I then realized there were more and they appeared to form a circle over the area of Eglin Air Force Base. I have been here for four months and never seen this anomaly as I walked my dogs at night . It has been 1.
5 hours since I first noticed them and they are still in position. As I’ve watched them I’ve realized that there are two different kinds. The major circle is formed with the larger ones with colored lights.
However , there are some smaller ones that are white lights and could almost pass for stars. However their light constantly dims and brightens . As I was taking photos they would dim and be in some photos but not others .

Tan crescent or bat shaped object, silent, over Fort Walton Beach, Florida At approximately 2230 hours on June 23, 2020, I went outside my home to put my tarp on my vehicle due to intermittent rain. The skies were partly cloudy, quite dark, with wind blowing from south to north, about 5 mph. I could hear military aircraft well above my home, and to the south, which are usually F-22’s or F-23’s from Eglin AFB practicing aerial combat.
Since they had their nav lights off, they could not be picked out (about ten minutes later they could be observed when they did turn on anti-collision lights). I also observed a passenger aircraft fly to the west way past Hurlburt Field flying from south to north, and either a U-28 or PC-12 recon aircraft circling near Hurlburt. I then caught some movement in the sky to my left, and observed a low flying (several thousand feet altitude), bat wing shaped object travelling from west to east, almost directly overhead, around 70 degrees high to the north, almost overhead, and about the size of a fingernail when the arm is held out.
It was a light tan color, which at first I presumed to be a falcon or owl. However the speed was too fast, covering a good arc of the sky straight and level from nearly 20 degrees off the horizon from west to east in four to five seconds (there were no wings flapping, and it was too high for an owl, which are usually in the trees at night, and I haven’t heard any for over a year). The shape of the object was crescent shaped, almost bat like, and from my angle almost like the silhouette of a B-2 but with a very round nose and rounded wings (much like the craft drawn by Lockheed engineer Clarence Kelly on 16 December 1953).
There was no glow, and no apparent appendages such a! s an exhaust as one would see in current drone production. No military aircraft appeared to be chasing the object, however one F-22 or F-23 did fly the same approximate route several minutes later although at a substantially higher altitude (apparent approach to Eglin AFB for landing or more maneuvers over the Gulf of Mexico).

Bright light and dim object observed north of Fort Walton Beach. While walking dog at 0045 hours, observed a very bright white light about 20 degrees above the horizon to the north, trailed by a dim object moving to the north or NE. Lead object was extremely bright, no evidence of flashing anti-collision lights.
I would estimate they were 20-30 miles away. Lead object brightness faded out after ten or so seconds; trailing object remained dim. Verified it was not ISS, nor any apparent satellites passing over (GPS 16 made a pass about that time, however these were two distinct objects).
I’ve seen past ISS flyovers, but the lead object was extremely bright until it faded, and there was no evidence of military activity at the time. ((NUFORC Note: Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information. PD)).

10+ Silent Round Fireball Looking Ojects Fly overhead in a straight line. REAL!!! I was sitting on the back porch playing a game on my phone and the battery died. I threw my hands up and slung my head back like crap my phones dead.
as I looked up I noticed these silent round fireballs in a line following each other. some piggy backing some by themselves but all going the same direction and the same flight path. As they passed by they seemed to just vanish into thin air and disappear.
In dismay, I ran inside and woke my friend who was asleep on the sofa and made him come outside and check it out. About 8 more came through and neither of us could believe what we were seeing. I ran back inside and grabbed his phone and started filming.
I have about a 2-3 minute video of the last one as it passes by and disappears. we also took several photos but a smart phone camera is only so good. They were completely silent and If my phone hadn't died I would have never even have know they were there.
THIS WAS A REAL SIGHTING!.

Bright white Diamond shaped craft with bright vapor trail seen in Fort Walton Beach, FL 7/10/12 Around 11pm I saw a bright white diamond shaped object dashing across the sky with a thick white trail of light behind it. It was traveling very fast at a slight downward slant towards the ground. I am 99.
9% sure that it was not a shooting star. I have seen a shooting star before, once as a child and about 8 or 9 years ago as an adult. They seem to disintegrate shortly after hitting the earths' atmosphere.
This object did not fade at all as it flew behind the trees at a downward slant towards the ground. I happened to have my windows and doors opened last night because it was exceptionally cool after the rain and happened to be looking at the sky when this object suddenly appeared, dashing across the sky. This sighting only lasted about 2 or 3 seconds, but I am pretty sure of what it wasn't and have no idea what it was.
It was a very bright white diamond shaped craft with a thick white, vapor trail that looked like a beam of light behind it. Difficult to say! how large it was. I was approximately 200 yards away from the object.
I am a business professional, currently unemployed. I do have a degree in Business Administration and am over the age of 40 years old. I can tell you that this is not a hoax and I would not be wasting everyones time reporting this if I did not feel that this was a genuine sighting.
I have studied UFOs for many years and this was like nothing I have ever seen before. I am near one of the largest military bases in the world and about 30 miles away from Gulf Breeze, FL. I told my roomate about it and he said that I should report it, so that if anyone else saw it in the general Fort Walton Beach area that would make it more credible.
Keep watching the skies!!.

Second triangle craft near Eglin AFB Spotted. Eleven months ago, I saw a "black" triangle with no sound, no lights, flying low from due east to due west. It blended with the background color of the night sky, which was clear, but pretty dark that night.
It didn't just happen to be the right color, it BLENDED. I live here by Eglin AFB and Hurlburt Field. Evening of 11-5-09, I was outside smoking again, talking to my brother, and another triangle, a bit lighter in color this time (as the background sky was lighter,) flew right over me from due north to due south, between 300-400 feet AGL.
Width was an estimated 25-30 feet wide, and again, the bottom of the craft seemed to blend with the background with uncanny similarity. It's like watching a triangle shaped "Schwartzneggar Predator" pass overhead. This one was a bit different from the other (which had no lights, no noise, and a bit darker to match the night overhead) as once it went overhead and I was looking at the rear, this time there were two very, very, very faint circular glows on the rear.
If you've ever seen kid's phosphorescent stick-ons to where they're just about completely faded out in the dark - that's about the same color, type of glow, and lack of intensity. Glowed just enough to barely make out. Again, absolutely zero noise.
This one blended with the sky once past overhead really quickly, unlike conventional aircraft that you can watch for many seconds as it drops toward the horizon. This "camoflage" really works well. I'm 59 years old, and except seeing two F-4's on full afterburner chasing a brilliantly shiny no-wing thing very low and over this same town in about 1966, these two events are the only things I've seen my entire life.
Two triangles, a tad different, traversing the same area, and both were in the "winter" when the skies were very cool and clear. Last year's triangle track would have carried it over the northern portion of the runway at Hurlburt Field. This one was going due south, only a couple miles of the Gulf of Mexico.
Damnedest things I've ever seen. Gentlemen, we (somebody) has some very fine top technology aircraft that don't use jet engines, entirely soundless, blend with the backgoune night sky, and if they don't cross your field of vision, you won't see or hear them.

Black triangle flying low over northwestern Florida. I walked out back to smoke a cigarette, watched a plane fly over and disappear over the Gulf of Mexico (due south) was looking at Orion, trying to pick out some of the fainter stars. By now my night vision was fairly good.
I caught movement out of the left corner of my eye, and startled, I instinctively ducked. At first, I thought it was a hang-glider, basing this initial impression on the shape alone. I was startled, as this had "sneaked" up on me without any noise, no cutting of the wind, nothing.
Coming from due east headed due west, this triangle was of a conflicting description. It was darker than the night sky, no lights, but also seemed somewhat transparent in that the outside/frame/shape was more clearly defined than the middle. Black but with the appearance of "transparency" toward the center mass.
Contradicting terms, but that's the best words I can use accurately. It was so quiet and stealthy, had I not been looking south at that part of the sky at that moment, I would have never detected it. That part startled me the most.
It glided overhead, less than 400' AGL, and remained in my vision for seven to nine seconds until it dropped behind the trees. In other words, moving steadily, but not very fast. I would estimate the width greater than 25 feet.
Hurlburt Field is due West of here. If it maintained it's heading for a few more miles, it had to cross it the base and certainly the runway. During my observation, there was no change in altitude or direction, nor change in velocity.

2 lights speeding past okaloosa island beach at fort walton beach FL my wife and i were on the beach at okaloosa island in florida. the time was close to 2200 so the sky was clear and the stars were visible. as we were laying down my wife pointed at a light speeding rapidly through the sky, and shortly another craft traveling at the same speed followed.
i am in the airforce and i see jets regularly performing exercises and manuevers. our aircraft are not capable of flying at those speeds. the objects did not leave a trail so i convinced it was neither a comet or a meteor.
also because the objects made no sound.

PD)) Five bright amber lights form a "W" formation and hover 5 mins over NW FL sky 1840L Mon 7 Nov '05. My sons came running into the house talking about lights in the sky, so I went out and ran over to an E-W street w/them for a unobstructed view. What we all (a couple neighbors also came out and witnessed them) were five bright lights (amber-colored) which were holding steady in the shape of a giant "W" up in the night sky.
The formation was approx 25 degrees abv horizon, sky was clear and dark (1.5 hrs after sunset.) The lights held position, evenly-spaced, for approx 5 mins, during which time I ran back inside my house to get the video camera, but battery was dead! At one point, watched a small, civilian plane approach the formation, then turn away and circle a couple times before departing.
From our perspective, believe the plane was closer to us than the bright lights. When "W" formation broke apart, they did so one by one, starting w/furthest N or right side, turn away, then vanish after a couple seconds, then next one, and so on. Next day, I spoke w/military contacts who researched and told me no milair was up over the Eglin reservation in NW Florida at time of sighting.
Am a retired USAF Special Ops aviator w/nearly 5,000 hrs of flight time in a wide range of fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft, and I can't explain what we watched that night. Also, learned several active duty AF people witnessed the lights that night and couldn't explain them, either. As a former journalist and military aviator, I consider myself pretty level-headed and thorough.
((ADDENDUM #1 OF 2 TO ORIGINAL REPORT)) Formation of five bright amber lights held a hover in "W" formation over NW FL Mon 7 Nov 1840L (Addendum to earlier report) Witnessed a formation of very bright, amber-colored lights holding a "W" formation and hovering at steady altitude approx 15 miles distance, directly west of our location, angle of elevation approx 25 degrees from horizon. I am a retired AF Special Ops aviator w/nearly 5,000 hours in a multitude of both fixed- and rotary-wing aircraft. I've seen flares, SAM and air-to-air missile launches.
These lights were none of the above. They held formation for approx 5 mins, then one by one, broke formation and disappeared w/in a few seconds of each other. There were no milair in the area (Eglin Military Reservation) at the time of sighting (I checked w/base) but one small civilian plane did fly into the area during time of sighting.
It flew N to S, crossing in front of formation, then circled a 180 back N until it was clear of our view, then did a 360 before departing back to N. We all felt the small plane was closer to us than the bright lights, since we could see it's red and green wing beacons and white anti-collision strobe. The bright lights were evenly spaced and held perfectly still in the "W" formation for the five minutes I saw them.
((END ADDENDUM #1)) ((ADDENDUM #2 OF 2 TO ORIGINAL REPORT)) Multiple AD USAF witnesses report formation of bright lights hovering over rural Santa Rosa County FL Addendum 2 to earlier report - This is a compilation of three additional witness accounts who are active duty Air Force flyers who did not want to be identified. Witness 1 was driving W-bound on Hwy 98 near Navarre when he observed a formation of 5 bright white lights in the dark WNW sky. He continued to watch the formation of lights in an attempt to identify what type of aircraft they were.
As he continued driving W, he realized the formation (described as sort of a diamond shape) wasn't moving, but just hung in the sky at approx 35-40 degrees elevation. Since he was driving, he couldn't remain visually fixed on the formation, and after approx 10 mins of glancing while driving, he glanced back and realized the lights were no longer there. He did not see them depart, but claims he had only looked away from the formation to the road a matter of a few seconds.
Witness 2 was also driving W-bound on Hwy 98 near Navarre and observed a similar formation of lights. He at first assumed they were AFSOC helos on a night training mission, but after several minutes of driving realized his helos were still there, in the same angular, diamond-like formation, and the lights continued to hold position, hovering at what appeared to be very high altitude. He said as he continued his drive W he doubted his helicopter formation theory more and more, especially when the formation broke apart.
He described the formation break as a one-by-one realignment into almost a straight line, with some decending and some ascending, then the light on the far end of the formation suddenly veered away from the others and vanished. This pattern of breakaway continued for the next minute, until all the lights were gone. He has no explanation as to the source of the lights, but is very familiar with flares and other air-ordnance which could cause illumination, and stated "These lights were under controlled guidance.
" Witness 3 was driving N on Hwy 87 after turning from it's intersection w/Hwy 98. He witnessed "several bright lights" through the trees off to the western sky. He at first thought they were stars or planets, but as he got more glimpses through the trees, he said he realized they were "way too bright" to be either stars or planets.
He then also assumed they were a formation of helos doing night ops, and didn't pay much more attention until he turned W-bound off Hwy 87 onto East Bay Rd just south of Holley. That was when he saw the lights better and re-evaluated them as "unknown." He only saw them for a minute or less after turning onto East Bay Rd before each light "took off like a bat outta hell" and the lights winked off, one by one.
He said he believes there were four or five lights in all. None of the above three Air Force flyers reported seeing other aircraft in the sky during their incidents, and all three reported the times at somewhere between 18:30 and 18:50, lasting from 5-10 mins in duration. ((END ADDENDUM #2)).

High speed white trail across the night sky with no sound. But too slow and long to be a meteor. At first, thought object was a shooting star but not traveling fast enough.
Object was a white dot with a long white tail behind it, similar to the afterburner on a jet but much longer. Object moved swiftly in a straight line and after 10 or 15 seconds, the tail disappeared and object slowed, leaving only the white dot. Object then glowed red for a second and seemed to grow larger before reverting back to the smaller white dot that it was.
It did this 3 times before going out of sight. Odd thing was that this made no sound and was more than likely supersonic judging by the speed. There is very rarely any air traffic in this area at this time of night.
Definately was NOT a meteor or shooting star!.

Craft was hovering over an area at the edge of Eglin Air Force base runway. Craft was triangle with bright lights at bottom and maneuvered up and down and side ways with absolutely no sound and appeared to be about the size of a Stealth. Craft was either on or near the air base and was sighted by someone who is very familiar with that area.
Convinced the Air Force had to have known about this craft or was responsible for it. Perhaps the reason so many UFO sightings are in the Panama City area.

Bright blue-white object leaving traces hovering over trees going up and down while accelerating. 2 witnesses REAL Well I posted this a while back and it isnt on any of the lists I checked. I was standing outside looking for something in the sky, (I usually do) and i walk to look above the backyard over the fence and i see this blue things goin thru the trees.
So I keep watching and I was shocked that i've actually seen it, The thing I saw was bright blue-white circular object leaving traces going up and down and accelerating foward slowly id' say it looked like 45 mph and slowing down and it sped on away til i couldnt see it anymore i tried following it so i can see where it was headed. So I guess it lasted 10 seconds together for me, but whats weird is a person i knew who left in right before i saw it , saw it as well, i called them to tell him what I saw, he was like " you guys are scarin me, my girl just saw it too" ((NUFORC Note: Date is approximate, according to the witness. Flying Police Car or UFO? I am licensed light airplane pilot. I was standing in my driveway, my back propped against my van to steady myself as I watched the lunar eclipse through binoculars. A shape I at first thought had wings and flashing a frontal row of extremely bright red, blue, green, and white lights flew into my binocular's field of view.
All the colored lights flashed on simultaneously and in three quick pulses that repeated after a beat. The object steadily moved southwest from northeast at about 150 to 200 miles an hour. It had passed near the moon, which was then in mid-eclipse, and I tracked it with the binoculars for about four seconds.
Then I watched it move along without the glasses. At first I thought it was an airplane. It was low because it passed in front of me from left to right and then disappeared behind the housetops and trees.
But the strangest thing about it was that it made absolutely no sound, none, nothing. Not a hum, not a buzz, not a whine, roar or whistle, not anything. It was perfectly silent.
I judge it to have been traveling at a 15 to 20 degree slant from me and about 1/2-mile distant at an altitude of 500 to 800 feet. As it passed, the colored lights flashing on it were powerful enough to be diffused by the moisture saturated air and also dimly reflected off the pavement and houses. It was low because it moved in a straight line away from me and disappeared behind roof tops and trees in the west.
It had one small, steady, white light showing on its receding form. As it moved away from me, I could see it was a silvery oval, cigar, or wing shaped object that seemed to dimly reflect a pale silver-blue color from the city lights below it. That's why I first thought it was an airplane or helicopter, both very common around here.
But it made no sound. Its soundlessness was the weirdest part of the encounter.

Glowing pinkish-red ovals flying very fast (Related report submitted for 9/12/02 in Ft. Walton Beach, FL. http://www.
nuforc.org/webreports/028/S28061.html) After the events depicted in that report, I was outside specifically looking for other strange behavior in the skies.
First sighting: ~11pm ---------------------- I was outside my Breakers hotel room watching the low clouds from "Hannah" storm roll inland. In one formation of the changing clouds, they were close to left and right, and significantly further out to see toward the middle. From the left, I saw a faint pinkish glow coming from just inside of the clouds.
It travelled along the beach, remaining in the cloud cover, going very fast. The really weird part of this was that it remained just inside of the clouds the entire way - going out to sea in the middle, and back inland as it passed by the right. It seemed to want to stay inside the clouds, and it also seemed to pick up speed as it passed by to the right.
In my notes, I wrote down that the speed was "scary!" Both the surf and wind were very loud, so that was all I heard. Second sighting: ~11:50pm -------------------------- I was still on the balcony watching the clouds roll in. At this point, they were more choppy.
2 glowing oval objects flew from behind me out to sea and eventually disappeared into the oncoming clouds. I saw no structure, only glowing ovals - each about the size of nickel at arm's length. They were flying together, yet independently.
Their flight paths were eratic as they flew straight out to the sea (directly toward the storm). I tried to depict this scene in the enclosed rough sketch. I am an Electrical Engineer and I am fairly familiar with traditional airplane capabilities.
I believe that these ovals were intelligently controlled, were not based on air-foil technology, and that no person could have ridden in a vehicle that moved in such fashions. - Note to the moderator - Please excuse the lateness of this report, but I was waiting until I had drawn a better picture of it but I got busy with other things (the picture I'm sending is not the quality I wanted to produce, but it gets the job done). I just read a recent report (http://www.
nuforc.org/webreports/044/S44378.html) that depicted an object very similar to what I described here and my interest was renewed.
In fact, I'd like to share this picture with the person that made that report and see if it matches what they saw. If you could facilitate this, I would appreciate it. Thank you.

deep red pulsating triangles flying over Ft. Walton Beach 1st sighting of the night: -------------------------- 9/12/02, on a work-related trip, I spent much of the evening relaxing on my hotel room's ocean-side balcony. Mostly just relaxing, watching the stars at other times.
Approx. 9:30 pm, I noticed an unusually bright light in the sky (to the East). I then noticed that it was moving, and rather oddly at that.
Slowly, a second faded into view above the first. The first dimmed, extinguished, then another light faded into view above the second. This occurred several times, slowly.
After a while the two lights stopped the vertical motions, and began moving around very slowly (independently) but still staying close together. No fast motions, but they would move, stop abruptly and pause, move somewhere else, then stop. This went on for about 5-10 minutes.
My view was not extremely close, but they seemed to be much closer than high-flying commercial aircraft, and they were further out horizontally from my view than vertically. Description of lights: . Each was triangular.
Entire triangle was red (no other external lights). Color was very deep red, deeper than lights on large tv/radio antenna. Lights slowly pulsated in intensity (brighter-dimmer, ~2-3 second period).
Lights did not seem to be directional. No matter which way they moved, the lights did not stop showing (as plane lights would as the plane turned). Motion was not fast, but not extremely slow either.
2nd sighting of the night: -------------------------- I was so edhilerated/excited/scared/blown away by the first sighting that I was not about to go back in the room if I could catch another glimpse of these things. My patience paid off at ~10:15pm local time. Again, two of the pulsating red triangles came into view - this time from my left.
They went back out to approx. the same spot they were in last time. Their motions were the same as the first time, short and straight paths, abrupt stops, nothing too fast about any of it.
Moving independently, but staying relatively close to each other. After 10-15 minutes of this, they began a slow steady path to my left with no abrupt stops. That was the last I saw of them for the trip.
Other details: -------------- . I was staying at a hotel on the 6th floor which allowed me to see over some of the haze that was coming in from storm Hanna. Ft.
Walton Beach is located between 2 U.S. Air Force bases - Eglin and Hurlburt.
I was doing some work for my company at one of them. I wanted so badly to ask people at the base the next day about experimental aircraft in the area, but I was representing my company and could not go around asking about glowing red pulsating triangles flying about. I watched the skies every evening for the rest of the trip (when not working).
I saw airplanes and helicopters fly over at other times. Each of them was clearly a helicopter or airplane no matter how far away it was. I am absolutely certain that the red triangles were not planes or helicopters.
The characteristics of their lighting and motion were not even close. I am providing a sketch of the scene since I did not have a camera. The sketch is not perfect, but I believe it depicts the important aspects of the scene.
(it may be a little dark, turn up brightess and contrast for best view). I saw nothing else this night, but the next night (9/13/02) I saw some even more amazing craft. These sightings are reported separately.

Oval object seen following small airplane with possible evasive maneuvers by plane, two witnesses. Mary Esther, Florida approximately 8:45 pm or within View time: 1 minute? Next to Hurlburt Air Force Base Kids and I watching moon and stars, fairly clear evening. Saw a small airplane flying West, lights flashing.
Then noticed another object a few fingers width behind and to the side of the airplane. The object had no lights, appeared ovoid in shape and was faintly illuminated silverish grey with a brighter vertical streak on it's center. It appeared to be following the plane, quickly closed distance and glided above and to the plane's right side.
Another object seemed to seperate from behind the main object, then disappeared. The plane shifted left and the object followed. The plane manuevered back and forth twice more and the object seperated and moved North.
Another 'thing' seperated from the object and disappeared. It wasn't a flash of light or engine type light, but was also grey in color and smaller; same as the first seperation. The object seemed to wobble, or tightly zig zag a bit, and flew a pinky finger length North.
My daughter and I were very excited and I turned to glance at her. When I looked back, the object was suddenly a full hand width back toward the West moving three times as fast and seemed to have a 'light tail'. The airplane had already disappeared behind the trees, and the object then, as well.
Neither one of us actually saw the object turn so can't comment on that. Been skywatching a long time, haven't seen anything quite like that. I can be contacted at: ((e-address deleted)).
