All Reported UFO Sightings in Liberty Hill, Texas

Late evening, New Years eve 2022, observed small object flying quickly, very low and almost directly over. On December 31st, 2022, between 10:54pm and 10:57pm, I observed a small round object fly almost directly over me. That evening my wife and I stayed home and were watching the New Year celebrations on television.

We were not drinking alcohol or anything else. My normal routine in the evening, is to walked my dogs several times outside in the front yard, before going to bed. Each time someone or something exits or enters my home, my security cameras record those events.

That night when I left the house with the dogs, the garage camera recorded time was 10:54pm and showed I returned back to the garage at 10:57pm. The dogs were not sensitive to the fireworks going off in the neighborhood that evening, and the four were just running around close to me, doing their business. I stood in the middle of my street looking into the sky.

The weather was very nice, the sky was very clear and I was surprised to see a lot of air traffic. The flight path to Austin's airport is due west from my house and in the evenings it's common to see air traffic coming and going from all directions. I was standing near the end of my driveway, in the middle of the street facing south, when I saw a very distinct red, star shaped light.

It appeared to be traveling north in my direction, still miles away and was at about a 45 degree angle from my perspective. I thought the light was odd for aircraft lights but dismissed it and began walking north, approximately one hundred feet on Speed Horse. I was almost to the T intersection of Speed Horse and Secretariat when I turned and looked back south.

I did not see the red light and it just seemed to have disappeared. Still standing in the road, I turned due west and saw, what appeared to an aircraft, a mile or so away. Its was at around a 45 plus degree angle from my perspective and appeared to be flying north.

It was at this moment while looking up at the plane, that I caught movement to my right, almost directly above me. I immediately turning to my right and began tracking a small dark orange colored object as it flew past and above me. It continued in a northeast direction not more than fifty feet above the ground.

Within a few seconds, it disappeared directly over my neighbors home and into the night sky. Although the sky was clear, there are no street lights in my neighborhood, and my clearest view of its shape and size happened in that first second as it flew over. It appeared to be moving very fast but not so fast that I couldn't track it.

My first thought when I saw it, was that it looked like a flying basket ball. It's flight path was very straight, it did not deviate, slow down, change course, hover or make any noise. It did not have any lights on it at all.

Using Google earth I was able to measure the approximate distance, from my point of perception to where it disappeared over my neighbors home, at around two hundred feet. I estimated I tracked it for approximately 2 to 2.5 seconds and calculated its speed between 60 and 70 mph.

Right after it disappeared I immediately tried to rationalize what I had seen. Was it a bird or a drone? It didn't look like or move like a bird, nor did I see wings and it was too big. I have seen many drones and most were moving very slowly, not in a straight line, or they were hovering, made noise and they made obvious changes in direction.

Immediately after seeing the object I went inside and told my wife. She was skeptical and laughed but then realized I was serious. Within days I told other family members about what I seen, they just laughed and asked If I took a picture.

This incident has really bothered me and I've been debating with myself to report it. I had heard about your site and I'm was just hoping someone else might have seen something similar. I am a retired Police officer with over 25 years with the city of Austin Texas and consider myself of sound mind and body.

TX 2 paralell streaks of light orange in color lit up the ground around me TX I was walking in a nnw direction looking down, because it was dark. The ground lit up orange i looked up immediately and saw 2 streaks of bright orange streaks that left an imprimt like camera flash or welder arcing. What i saw seemed to be a craft going from still to 100 times faster than anything im aware of.

I have watched the sky over 35 years and seen some amazing meteor showers of defragmenting fireballs, but this I have never seen except on Startrek after they initiate hyperdrive. this was around 4am in the NNW sky of Liberty Hill TX.

Bright Orange lights appear and reappear On the night of January 8th, my step dad, my little brother and I saw 4 bright burning orange lights toward the north. The lights were just above the ground and appeared to be 5 to 6 miles away. At first we thought it was a fire because of the glow beneath it so my step dad who is a police officer called the dispatch to see if any calls have came in about a fire.

The dispatcher said none have come in. We knew it wasn’t a fire when the lights came towards the ground and disappeared. Approximately 5 minutes later the light would come back up again into the sky where they would hover for another 15 minutes.

They repeated this process for about an hour. We were positive that they weren’t flares, planes, towers, or helicopters. The largest army Base Fort Hood is north of where our house is and the lights were in that direction.

So we might have thought it was some kind of military operation. We have never seen anything like this and what interested us more were the reports that came in a week later on the news.

Bright Lights over Williamson County, Tx. I first wanna say that there are many sightings being reported that are probably farce. I have been a police officer for 17 yrs, have seen many extraordinary things, but I am still in shock over what my 2 sons and I witnessed.

On the 8th of January, 2008, at approximately 1920 hrs. I went outside to gather some firewood, looked across my property which sits on a hill facing the northeast, with a view of approximately 8-10 miles. I noticed these extremely bright orange or flame colored lights rising 300-500 feet above the horizon.

The lights were horizontally aligned and spanned an area quite wide. I noticed they would disappear for a few seconds and would appear again at different heights as if they were in sporadic rows. The lights would come and go in various numbers ranging from as little as two and as many as 12.

I became intrigued with the lights and called my 15 yo son as well as my 18 yo son to come outside and view them. I suggested to my sons that it might possibly be a fire off in the distance, but recanted as the lights progressively reached greater heights. I went as far as calling the Williamson County Sheriffs Office to see if a fire or something of that nature had been reported in the area of the lights.

This call was documented and a Deputy was sent to check the area around 1941 hrs. We attempted to get photos of the lights but where unable. The lights disappeared shortly after the call to Williamson County S.

O. I would like to re-iterate the size and brightness of the object rivals nothing of man-made proportions, and my 2 sons could somewhat compare the brightness to the oil drilling rigs you see far offshore in the Gulf of Mexico. Thanks for your time and I hope this helps in your investigations.

long delay flashing light Flash of light appeared to the east of the north star. It flashed 1 time. 5 seconds later it repeated and was moving closer.

It repeated this 5 times and moved closer each time. It then stopped. I watched for a few min more but did not see any further activity.

solid red light aircraft I just spotted a aircraft flying over Austin TX traveling NW which is a normal route for air traffic. The lights on the air craft were not strobes, and according to the FAA every air craft must have a strobe. The light configuration was red light (very bright) in the rear.

and a very dim greenish white light in the front. I tracked the craft with a 90mm telescope and could not see an outline of the craft or reflections of the lights on the crafts body. There was an air distortion with an elongated oval shape with sharp points where the lights are from the profile view of the craft.

The craft transited the sky at what appeared to be average aircraft speed. It maintained speed and heading through out the entire time. The odd.

seven objects sighted with one apparantly landing my son and i were standing outside my friend's house ready to leave after visiting and noticed two lights moving in the east. these lights looked about the same size as a star, but they were moving in a zig zag pattern downward. then we noticed five more from southeast moving towards the first two.

they all moved in a sort of zig zag path. we started getting concerned because they were coming closer so my son and i left. driving home to bertram, one appeared to land some where east of liberty hill texas.

the night sky was clear with no clouds.

cone changing into a circle there was one object changing from cone to circular shape. it had white lights on the top then red then blue then green going down in a stripe pattern when in a cone shape. then it would turn ito a circle that was surounded in white lights and the center had red.

within the center of circle a white light going dim then getting brighter every so often. it had itself placed as one of the stars on the big dipper and you could see it almost hovering to try to keep itself in that place. in binaculars it would change into the cone when it had drifted to far from the spot it was trying to stay in then return to circle when it was back in place.

on the bottom you could see a hazy trail like it was fumes from whatever was holding it in place. ((NUFORC Note: Possibly Venus?? PD)).
