I was out on the back patio around 4:10 in the morning, looking up at eastern sky, and saw a light move in a arc “like it was doing a turn” . It faded in and then out, like it was catching the reflection of the 3/4 moon. Skies were clear, I would estimate it was 20,000 to 30,000 ft AGL, no navigation lights.

After sunset 2 large UFOs flying away I was out walking after dark on the drive in front of the country house. I felt euphoria and elation. When I looked to the horizon, 2 UFOs were flying away in an ESE direction.

They were far away but large, flying in a straight line, so maybe they flew over my head but I didn’t see them until they had passed. They looked just like the UFOs in the Phoenix lights case. I took notes in my iPhone afterwards.

Sometimes my phone would crash, but only when I was out walking after dark. I have hours of lost time where I don’t remember anything.

Husband and wife witness a "phalanx" of lights pass overhead. Telephoned Report: This is a preliminary written report, submitted on behalf of a husband and wife, who witnessed a peculiar object pass overhead their location. During a telephone call to the Hotline, the husband reported a sighting of an object that reminded him of the objects seen during the dramatic "Phoenix Lights" event, i.

e. a seemingly quite large, phalanx-shaped formation of lights. The witness reported that the formation was approximately the apparent size of a full Moon, and that the lights in the formation were approximately the size, and color, of stars in the nighttime sky.

NUFORC is awaiting written reports, as well as illustrations, from both witnesses, and will post them once they have arrived at our Center.

Strange chemtrail formation over southwestern Nebraska At 6:30 p.m. CDT on Tuesday, February 26th, 2013, I was driving a taxi westbound on Interstate 80 in south-central Nebraska from Kearney to Lexington to pick up a customer and transport him eastward.

The sun had just disappeared behind a dark strip of clouds which extended low across the western horizan. There was also a large blanket of dark clouds overhead which extended westward just far enough to leave a horizontal strip of much brighter and clearer sky between the two dark cloud banks. With the sun setting behind the lower cloud bank, view of the western horizan was quite clear.

In the area of clearer skyline, I suddenly noticed an unusually long, thick, white and roughly-textured chemtrail. It was descending southward at an angle from the lower edge of the overhead cloud and then sharply turned back to continue angled descent toward the north. The turn was so sharp that the chemtrail, just beginning it's northward descent, was beginning to form a "V" tipped sideways.

I also noted quite visible shadow outlining of the chemtrail, but I'm certain that the sunset occurring in the background was responsible for that. As I said before, the lower area of the chemtrail was just beginning it's northward descent. Fascinated by the unusual formation, I realized that the lower section was being formed as I watched.

I can only speculate at how far away this chemtrail was from my location. But Nebraska skies are typically clear for great distances and therefore, I'd speculate that it was forming over the south-western Nebraska airspace between McCook and North Platte. Because of the distance, I could not descern what was forming the chemtrail.

However, the object was obviously descending very quickly, disappearing behind the lower cloud bank within a matter of less than 15 seconds from initiation of the turn. Given my estimation of the distance being nearly 100 miles from my current location, whatever was creating this formation had to be traveling very fast. For a moment, I wondered if it were a meteor.

But those do not reverse course. As soon as the object disappeared behind the cloud bank, the! entire chemtrail, which later remained remarkably solid in appearance until full sunset, turned black. Again, I assume this was due to shadowing from the sun setting behind it.

Now these are the reasons I think I was seeing something unusual. First, the airports across this region of Nebraska are limited in aircraft size and do not typically handle large aircraft landings. The angle of descent of the object made it appear as though it were indeed in the process of landing.

Smaller jets which are typical to airports in this region only rarely create visible chemtrails. While larger jets do fly over the area on a regular basis, they appear to be at a much greater altitude, make no obvious descent, produce only thin and straight chemtrails, and only make gradual turns. Additionally, I home school my teen son and we frequently watch videos on flight, space exploration and physics.

What I witnessed strongly reminded me of videos I've seen of the space shuttle descent. But I have no explanation for the sharp turn. Total observation time covered 25 minutes travel time.

Total observation time of the actual partial chemtrail being formed was less than 15 seconds. While it is always possible that I was simply seeing an unusual aircraft maneuvering through our air space, my instincts tell me otherwise. After 50 years of Nebraska skywatching, I'm left with the clear impression that this was something quite different than that and I just happened to be paying close enough attention to catch it.

RED BALL OF LIGHT HOVERING IN SKY A RED BALL OF LIGHT APPEARED APPROXIMATELY A MILE IN FRONT OF ME AS I DROVE SOUTH ON HIGHWAY 10 TOWARDS KEARNEY. I FIRST THOUGT IT WAS A FLARE OR FIREWORKS AS IT SEEMED TO FLOAT IN THE SKY FOR MAYBE TEN SECONDS THEN APPEARED TO "FLY AWAY." AS THIS HAPPENED I WAS ON MY CELL PHONE AND THERE WAS STATIC INTTERUPTING THE CALL.

two orbs, blue, and multi-colored one large blue circular orb. mostly stationary, slight horizontal movements, very bright. much larger and brighter than any star in the sky.

one small orb changing color patterns (yellow, red, blue,orange) and direction, (vertical, and 180 degrees circular) above main orb. highway 183 heading south and west from kearny. aprox.

4am. I am a traveling privately contracted repair man, working in McCook, Nebraska that morning. I have never seen anything like it, and was eerily compelled to stop and observe, and document.

A friend led me to your sight to report what i had seen.

Strange light in Kearney, Nebraska After July 4th 2010 I have found myself watching the sky a lot more than usual. And on July 6th at 11:13 Pm My Husband and I noticed a very strange light in the sky moving to the southeast. It passed underneath an airplane as it was moving.

We noticed it was no further than a half mile in the air and about 5 miles to the north west of us. It moved very fast and came right over the top of my house. To start off it was a very bright white light.

But the closer it got it seemed to change from white to orange. As it got over my house my husband and I looked up and the light was so bright we could not see past the light to see what it was. It made no noise at all, which I thought was very strange due to how close it was.

But then the light seemed to fade and what ever it was just disappeared. It was gone by 11:16 pm. Only lasted 3 minutes but it has really intrigued me.

I am going to go by a video camera because it seems as if these sightings are happening more o! ften in this area. I will be ready if I ever see another one so I can catch it and prove to everyone I am really not losing my mind.

Multiple UFO sightings in Kearney Nebraska On July 4th, 2010, at 10:30 Pm me and my husband were outside watching fireworks when I noticed 12 Red orbs to the north of our house. We watched as the orbs seem to be moving to the North, Northwest very slowly. This was a different direction then the embers from the fireworks were going.

They were about a half a mile in the air and made no sound at all. The UFO’s stayed the same distance apart, and really had no formation that I could recognize. This cluster of Red orbs moved out of sight in 5 to 6 minutes.

Then as I watched the sky I saw one single red orb come from the east, moving to the west the same path as the cluster moved. It seemed to move at the same speed and the same height as the others had. The light faded and just disappeared within five minutes.

In the next 15 minutes we had seen two more orbs do the same thing as the previous ones. I really have no idea what these UFOs were but I am glad to see others had seen the same thing. It makes me feel like I am not losing it.

Large, round, red light sighted in Kearney, Nebraska, silently flying very low and slow to the ground. I wanted to share with you a sighting I had about 2-3 weeks ago in my home town outside my apartment. I am not saying it was a UFO or anything, but I have never seen something like it and was wondering if you have heard about anything similar to it.

To start out, I live in a small town(about 25 thousand people) in central Nebraska no where near any large busy airports and airplanes are not a normality to see. During the day, the only planes we see around here are small privately owned planes or crop dusters. Within my town, there is also a large hospital with medical helicopters that often fly through the sky, what I initially thought it to be.

However, they have a distinct chopper sound and can be easily heard. I was leaving my apartment walking out to my car. When I got in and started it up, I noticed a strange large round light in the sky.

What confused me was the fact that it was sort of a reddish amber color in the sky AND it was flying very low and very slow. I stopped and just stared at it. It took forever for it to traverse the sky.

I got out of my car to get a clearer look of it, and also noticed that there was no sound. Seeing this light completely perplexed me because it couldn't have been any aircraft normally seen around my town especially at that time. I don't know of any aircraft that ONLY has a red light either.

Furthermore, I have never seen anything fly so slow or low to the ground. The fact that the light was so large (I would estimate it to be 60-75 feet in diameter) was even more strange because it didn't match any aircraft known to me. I stared at it for a good 5-10 minutes because I didn't want to miss anything else if it were to happen.

It finally got too far away for me to see. As stated earlier, I am not saying that it is a UFO, but to me, I can not personally explain it. I am not sure what I saw that night and have never seen anything like it.

I would just like to know if this description matches any known aircraft or if what I saw truly was a UFO. ((NUFORC Note: Source of report indicates that the date is approximate. PD)).

Triangle Crafts over Kearney, Nebraska I was sitting on the deck of our house in Kearney Nebraska and my husband was walking towards me from the garage to the south west of the deck when I noticed 3 black triangle shaped crafts flying towards the house. I screamed for my husband to look, and pointed at the sky. We watched these three crafts, silently fly from south to north over our house and then head east.

They were very low; I could see them against the orange glow from the city lights. There were no lights of any kind on the crafts.

Going west to east. No sound. No lights.

Illuninated by city glare. Alt. unknown.

Straight overhead. Width, 2.5 fingers at arms length.

(Thickness of fingers). 9:46 pm, Mar 20, 1998. I went out side to get something out of my truck and heard Geese flying over.

I was looking up, blocking the house lights so I could see better. Some times when geese fly over at nite in the dark you can spot them in the city lights glare. As I looked somewhat to the west I thought I saw some comming over me going east.

But as the lights from town hit IT, I could make out a perfect triangle. For a few seconds I thought my eyes were playing a trick on me and it was really a flock of geese flying back to roost for the nite. But the harder I Iooked, the more I realized it was a solid shape, not a "V".

It looked dark gray or black with only reflected light illuminating it. It continued east untill it was out of the glare of the city. I continued to watch that direction to see if it blocked out any stars momentairly, but it didn't, (that I could tell).

When it was directly overhead, it didn't pass over any brite stars, to block them out. I couldn't tell how high it was but it was 2 1/2 fingers long. That is, the thickness of my fingers at arms length.

There were comercial jets in the area at their crusing alt. but I suspect this UFO was way lower then them because one finger could easily block them out. Not 2 to 3 like the UFO.

This is about all I saw. Just here a few second.then gone.
