Hovering ball of light. I noticed a bright fuzzy ball of light moving in the sky while taking my daughter to work early Sunday morning . At first I thought it was a plane but the object was traveling in the same direction as me.
It stopped mid flight, hovered for a few seconds than disappeared. I asked my daughter if she saw what I saw but she was on her phone. The morning sky was partially cloudy but star were clearly visible.

Bright light floating around Saturday September 4th, 2021 Awoke to dog barking (as usual) at around 0315. Looked out my door window after going downstairs. Door faces directly south.
Noticed unusually bright light in distance just above tree line. This is within urban city neighborhood. Object was very far off, almost appeared to be a planet or other star, but noticed Object "floating" around, moving slightly in a non rhythmic or patterned way.
Wife observed Object after I made the risky decision to wake her. I continued to observe the Object for almost 2 hours until it slightly descended and gradually faded away toward the south. Object appeared to be triangular in shape.
During the observation multiple photos and videos were taken from a samsung galaxy phone. Position and movement of object over time clearly shows it was not following a trajectory or orbit. Object would fade and brighten multiple times.
Weather was clear skies with little to no cloud coverage. Other stars and planets in sky were clearly visible. Using the Skyview app, the object appeared at first to be Bunda, a star in the Aquarius constellation.
However, the movement and brightness of the object did not align with that theory.

Very bright light in the sky over Annapolis The sky was clear and blue. at 3:15PM I was driving east on Route 50 from D.C.
towards Bowie, and a very bright (stronger in intensity than, say, Venus) light suddenly appeared in the distant sky straight ahead at a 45-degrees position over the horizon, for approximately twenty five to thirty seconds. Since Route 50 was congested I could only glance at it about five or six times during the 25-second period. Each glance lasted about two to five seconds.
Then it was gone--just vanished. I continued to watch where it had been until I got to Route 301 to turn off and there was no plane or dark object that would indicate an aerial vehicle producing it. When I got home I checked the map and it appeared to have been high over Annapolis or Edgewater, Maryland, a distance of 17 miles from where I saw it.
But that's a guess--it could have been farther away.

Woke up to see a bright yellow light coming through my bedroom window. It remained still for a few moments. I thought it was a helicopter search light but it was so close to the window I would have heard the chopper blades.
And the light was too powerful for a drone.

Shiny Object moving towards clouds I was driving to work on route 214. There were big clouds in the sky ahead of me, and there was something whitish and shiny moving toward them. I say shiny because the sun was reflecting off of it.
When it got in front of the cloud I could not longers see it. I'm almost certain it disappeared.

Single Orange Reddish sphere traveling in slow motion before disappearing Orange Reddish ball was seen gliding from southeast to northwest. Smooth motion without any strange movement. Stayed in single path.
Moving in one direction in fairly slow to moderate pace but bit faster than the satellite would be. Display strong glare yet continue to shine brilliantly. Toward to ending of its trajectory, it dimmed and appears to blinks out before completely disappears without any sign or trace of its existence or flight path.
I can confirm it is not asteroid or satellite or plane or even meteorite breaking into our atmosphere. It was static object moving in what seem to be predetermined flight path. I couldn't see when it appears first as the tree was blocking my view, however, I was able to recognize it as unusual object before moving into clearing and had direct view of the glowing orange reddish sphere/ball.
The sky condition was extreme clear and crisp, this occurred at my backyard where I was able to observe the night sky pretty regular and I am familiar with frequent flight paths, although, this object had caught me off guard with bizzare light and traveling in a path where the planes and satellite never comes across. I've also witnessed an asteroid breaking up in an entry and saw it breaks into smaller pieces and what I observed tonight was nothing like it. Before this sighting, when I first came outside during 2340-2345h on 26th, to enjoy the nice stargazing weather, I immediately recognized orange reddish streak escaped my view before I was able to identify it.
I believe it was the same object which I observed later in the hour.

Three anomalous stationary lights over Bowie for over an hour. At 0505 EST I went out on my balcony for my morning cigarette before getting ready for work. My balcony is on the second floor with a southwest-facing view.
This was early morning so the sky was very dark and the conditions were calm and clear. As I looked to my far right I saw three lights in the sky. One white light was on the left and to the right were two white lights fairly close together.
The two lights on the right were both strobing in regular frequency, but never disappearing between strobes. The three lights maintained the same distance between each other giving the impression that they were all connected. There are normally many aircraft in the sky and my location is within the southeast approach to Baltimore-Washington International Airport.
I can also see planes on approach to Andrews Air Force Base to my southwest. My immediate reaction was that this was a C-17 Globemaster (which I have seen on approach to Andrews from my office outside the Beltway) banking very slowly away from me on approach to Andrews. As I continued to watch the lights however, they appeared to be stationary and at a slight angle – the left light maybe 15 degrees lower than the two right lights.
I am familiar enough with aircraft to know that this is not a conventional landing light configuration for fixed-wing aircraft and deduced that a fixed-wing aircraft would also not bank indefinitely. There were no red or green navigation lights also making me suspicious that this was not a fixed-wing aircraft. With the distance between the left and right-side lights at approx.
150-200 feet, I deduced that this was also too large to be a helicopter. I estimate the horizontal distance of the lights from my position at about 2-3 miles at an altitude of about 1,000 feet. The configuration and position of the lights never changed; the two lights on the right continued to strobe in regular frequency.
I continued to watch the lights for 20 minutes – never changing formation. I hopped in the shower and got ready for work. I was looking forward to daylight so that I might get a better view of any mass associated with the lights.
After getting ready for work approximately 40 minutes later (60 minutes total), I returned to the balcony to find the lights exactly as they had been – same three lights, same angle, same formation, and same strobing. At this point it was now 0605. I left the house and drove across Route 301 to the gas station to fill up.
The lights were still in the sky and daybreak was setting in. I proceeded in my car heading westbound on Route 50. As I looked out the driver’s-side window, I noticed that the lights were in front of me on my left-hand side (southwest).
At this point daylight was setting in and I could make out grey mass associated with the lights, however, driving in 80 mph rush hour traffic meant that I had to pay attention to the road and I lost visual. While I thought this might have been a large blimp such as the Skyship 600, this was inconsistent with the grey mass which appeared more cigar-shaped from my cursory observation. When I arrived at work, close to Route 50 and the Beltway, I looked in the general direction from my office and was unable to see the lights.
After discussing the incident with a couple of co-workers I conducted an online search for “lights over Washington DC” thinking perhaps others might have reported witnessing the same event. I came across the incident report on ufocasebook.com from October 26, 2005.
This report shared similarities with my experience in terms of number of lights and formation. They were able to get close enough to see a Blackhawk helo along with two lights and witnessed vertical and horizontal movement. I did not witness any movement at all and while I did see grey mass associated with the lights, I was unable to make any concise determination as to shape while driving down the highway.
When I arrived home that evening, I plotted the trajectory from my balcony in the direction of the lights (which obviously were no longer there) based on the corner of a Kohl’s department store across the street. The trajectory caught me off guard seeing as it crossed from the southeast side to the northeast side of Route 50 – I thought it would have been southwest. While driving down Route 50 on my way to work I witnessed the lights on my left (southwest of my position).
I also did a little local research to see if any strange events were reported in the media. Well, something did happen the previous night (Feb 26) at 2200 hrs. An 81 car train carrying coal had derailed in a residential area of Bowie.
In the derailment, 13 cars had skipped the tracks and tipped over including the locomotive. The incident is almost consistent with my trajectory of where the lights had been. However, the derailment occurred on the NORTH side of Highway 50, while I witnessed the lights on the south side of Highway 50.
If this was a series of helicopters, how were they able to stay stationary in perfect formation for over an hour? Why would they be so high in the sky if they were monitoring an accident? And why would they hover over a residential area for that long that early in the morning? It just doesn’t add up for me. I have no idea what the anomalous lights were. If there is some type of aircraft that does have this lighting configuration I would really like to know.
So far, I have no answers. Thank you for your time and consideration.

disc shaped, blue /white light UFO flying low and fast I was driving South on the Baltimore Washington Parkway on Sunday December 23rd at around 6:45 pm when I saw a large (larger than a full moon) whitish blue disc-like shape fly from right to left and disappear in the middle of the sky. It was low in the sky and was visible for only 3-4 seconds. There were no other smaller lights or any visible features and it flew through the sky extremely fast and very smooth.

Bluish white light UFO flying low at high speed above Baltimore Washington Pky, Dec 23, 2007 On December 23, 2007 at approximately 6:45pm I was driving with my 21 year old daughter, south on the Baltimore Washington Parkway around Bowie, MD. (just before the NASA exit) The strip of bluish white light caught my attention as it was directly in front of me flying low. I watched this object for about 5 seconds and then it disappeared.
I thought it must have vanished behind a cloud, however there were only thinly scattered clouds at that time. My daughter looked at me, after it vanished, and asked, "Did you see that?" We discussed what it could be, but knew it wasn't a shooting star or any aircraft we have ever seen. I am in the aviation business and have attended airshows in Paris and Dubai and have never seen anything fly like this.
This object was about the length of two full moons and its movement was smooth, direct and fast. It flew in an angle downward from the right to the left and it flew low. It came suddenly and disappeared suddenly.

Loud noise, bright lights and a new part of me was opened! I was outside looking at all of the snow on the ground with my dog when I had taken a snowflake in the eye. I had gotten mad at the snow so I had looked up. with all of the clouds in the sky i knew that I wasn't going to see much.
I wanted to look up at the stars so i just stared off and when I rellized there was a weird flashing light up in the sky. So I had thought that well it was problably a plane but it wasn't moving! I had gotten a little freaked out but i just kept looking up! I stared closer, closer and then a new set of lights appered through the clouds. then another after another came down through the clouds.
Each one had eight diffrent sets of flashing lights. Then my dog started to bark and the lights had all light up as if they heard her. The lights got brighter and brighter and I heard a loud shreeking noise and yet dipite the pain I keept looking up.
My dog got scared and ran with her tail tuked. Then out of no where a beam of light flashed on my face and then my body and I fell as if someone oushed me! Then with a flash of light they dissiperd. all except for one wich lingerd there for a moment flashing its lights as if it was trying to communicate with me.
when it was doing this i didn't feel scared but rather safe in an un-homely way. Then just like the others it went away in a flash! I still remained still and then wen't inside and started to feel things i've never felt befor like a new part of me had just ben awaken. And then I found myself going to this site as if i've always known where it was.
Now i am writting this! ((NUFORC Note: Report submitted by a young student. We will correspond with him to see whether there were other witnesses, and whether the report is serious. PD)).
