It was like a hopscotch drawing but with lights at the center. It didn't last long. I got a paranoid feeling that I wasn't alone, so I went outside.
I heard this unnatural thrumming noise that was slowly getting quieter. I didn't think too much of it; it was probably a helicopter. As I looked northwest though, I saw a string of lights appear in an alternating pattern of one, then two, then one again.
It was like stars actings as hopscotch squares. They disappeared after a few seconds, row by row. I didn't know what to make of it.
I then watched two stars move very quickly to a different location, but they stayed in the same position. Like two points in a diagonal slash. \ I'll share a quick drawing.
My neighbor's dog just wouldn't stop barking until it stopped too.

Watched what appeared as a star move across the sky multiple directions On an exceptionally clear night my girlfriend and I stood in our yard stargazing, a regular hobby of ours. I wouldn't say it happens a lot but with a fair amount of regularity we saw what first appeared to be a star stationary in the sky then we realized it was not a star as it began to move. This was not at all close, infact it was so far away at times it was hard to fallow m, though we have seen them much closer.
This particular time though, it was far off, we know it was not a shooting star or a plane based on its movements and speed of travel. It moved left with steady speed across what had to be hundreds of miles an hour, then moved quickly up, quickly down, then further left. Down then to the right before disappearing this took approximately 3-5 minutes.
We then got into our car to drive up to her father's house half a mile away. We got out the car and decided to look again, we again saw what appeared to be the same or similar ball of light type object this time a bit closer. Take in mind when I say a bit closer it was not at all close to us, just closer than pervious.
Without paying attention it would definitely appear as nothing more than a star. It moved in simular ways as it had just a few minutes prior for aprox 1 min I checked the box for I would like to be contacted by an investigator, only because I'd be happy to answer questions should one have any but I don't have any need currently to speak to one, I just wouldn't mind if I could be of any assistance. Also as I stated this has happened multiple times but I'm only filling out 1 form.
I only just found this site, but will report any that happen in the future. We had an entirely different sighting at a different location I will file a separate report on. The location this happened happened to be the same location (same family farm even) where cattle were found mutilated in 1995 or 94 I believe.

My husband and I decided to talk a walk on the bike trail and around the school. You can see the sky clearer by the school and I started to get a very eerie feeling. I couldn't stop starting at the sky and noticed I was seeing a lot of triangle star patterns.
But when I looked closer I could see multiple black triangular ships all over the sky at least 10. We went home and I wanted to show my children who are teenagers. It was like they where hidden in plain sight.
For someone to glance up, you can't see it. When I was pointing up to show my children the triangle patterns. DIRECTLY over our house one appeared and was a visible UFO.
It was so close just above the roof and the trees. It was a different shape more round and moving south. It was so close to us and it was like it was creating its own light.
There was no sound coming from it, and it was silent all around us. It was like everything was still. I panicked told my husband and saw it fly off in the dis! tance.
Then I stayed outside starring up and see another rounded one appear below one of the triangular ones. I realized I was seeing flashes in the sky and hearing a metal noise also. The vibration in the atmosphere was like static.
A very eerie and amazing experience. I come from the wright patt area and I am used to seeing some things but this was nothing like that and it was like it wanted to show itself to us.

I could not explain it, and wondering if anyone else saw it. At about 11pm, I noticed a strange light in the sky to the southwest; a larger white light, a smaller green light and a smaller red light all together. Having been a pilot for 30 years and a flight instructor for almost 20, I supposed it was an airplane.
However, this light did not move. Had it been a hovering helicopter, I would have heard it, but it made no sound. After about 20 minutes, it began moving in a circle, then bobbing up and down.
I compared it to stationary ground objects, steadying myself against a road sign to make sure that it was moving and not myself. Since I do not believe in UFOs, I went inside after about a half hour. Curiosity got the best of me an hour later, and I went back outside to check on it, and saw that it had moved almost directly overhead.
Still no sound. ((NUFORC Note: Witness corrects the date to Sunday, November 02, 2014. We have corrected it above.
Witness believes firmly that the object was not a star. PD)).

Small point of light crossing the heavens changed speed twice and "wobbled" before finally vanishing. I was shucking oysters in our garage with my nephew when I stepped outside onto the edge of the driveway to take care of some personal business… While standing there I looked skyward at the stars directly overhead as we have had days and days of rain and the sight of stars was a welcome one. I noticed a very small point of light moving across the heavens and I initially figured it was an airliner.
After viewing it for a few moments I couldn’t spot any red, green, or other marker lights which would be visible from the ground of an airship passing six miles overhead… It was not a bright light, at all. I continued to watch it and it suddenly slowed its speed to almost half of its previous speed then actually wobbled a bit to the side and then sped up continuing its previous heading. At that point I yelled for my nephew to rush out and look at this strange light with me.
He immediately spotted it and then the object repeated the same motion of slowing down, jogging a bit off course then speeding back up to its previous speed. And then it vanished. It moved from directly overhead to the ENE.
Total sky travel was from directly overhead to a little less than 45 degrees from that first time I spotted it. We remarked with a “What the hell was that?” then laughed about the notion of telling anyone about it… Firstly, I do not drink alcohol since a heart attack earlier this year. Secondly, I am a retired federal weatherman, namely a “meteorological technician” for 37 years.
I spent my professional career staring into the sky at all hours and shifts judging weather phenomena to report in aviation weather observations and forecasts. I have never seen an object I would classify as a UFO, until now. And it’s not because I didn’t try! I have released many high-altitude radiosonde weather balloons with lighting attached and know well what that looks like.
I have also seen the International Space Station pass overhead several times and even pointed it out to younger family members as a “Wowee!” The object I am reporting looked like neither… I’ve seen “burn-ins” of manmade and extraterrestrial objects. This dim, fast-moving light was nothing like that, either. Had the object simply maintained its speed and heading, I wouldn’t have thought much of it.
I still wouldn’t have know what it was… But, when it slowed down and momentarily wobbled and varied its trajectory, TWICE, then sped back up to the original pace it was then that my childlike curiosity took notice. And then it was gone. Had it disappeared behind a thin deck of cirrostratus I would accept that.
But, the stars in the background were still visible… I’ll just scratch my head over this one and wait for a logical answer if one is ever served. This was not a dramatic sighting, by any stretch, but something different than any other point of light I have ever observed in the heavens. If it was indeed manmade, it surely has some of the finest control surfaces ever built.
And quiet, too!.

Spinning cylindrical object that lit up my yard with light. I'm not sure if this was you would consider alien, it may have been a satellite for all I know, but I could never find anything about satellites being seen like this. It happened a while back so the date isn't exact, but the year and time is.
I was standing on my front porch in a very rural part of North Robertsdale. I stepped outside to smoke a cigarette and noticed out of the southwest (My porch faced west) this spinning object moved across the sky due east. At first it looked like one of the many satellites that can be seen moving across a clear sky at night, but I noticed it was rotating like a well thrown football does (Sorry, best way I could think to describe it).
As it moved closer I could see the light wasn't just on the object, but was beaming off of it, like a hugely powerful spotlight. As the light rotated around the craft the beam was reaching out a great distance as it rotated around the object. As it got closer the beam was brighter, until finally as it moved over head, the beam made a sweep across my yard, again directly over me, and continued across the field behind my home and presumably along the entire direct route that the object traveled until I couldn't see it anymore.
This light was very bright, and swept rather quickly, but lit up everything it went across like it was daytime. I was frozen in terror. I had of course heard UFO stories and never really knew what to make of the subject.
But that thought in my mind that it might be a UFO scared me like few things have. I immediately went inside and started searching the internet for satellite sightings and if there were any that rotated and would maybe reflect the sun off it's panels. I never did find an answer to that question and I'm hoping maybe someone here can help me come to understand what I saw.
I've only told a couple friends about it and never reported it because I always thought it was probably a satellite. But every year or so it pops back in my head and I search for a while to see if anyone could explain it for me. So please, if anyone can help me understand what I saw or reaffirm that it actually was just a satellite, please get back to me as soon as you can.
Thank you for your time. ((NUFORC Note: Date may be approximate. PD)).
