3 lights traveling silently across the sky - multiple witnesses My fiancee and 2 friends were sitting out on our patio in our back yard in the evening at around 8:30 PM. It was a clear night and it was just getting dark enough so that more stars were beginning to be visible. I had my binoculars out, which I was using to look at the crescent moon and any planes or other aircraft that were in the sky.
Everyone was just chatting and sitting in the patio furniture (I was standing up and periodically looking at the moon and scanning the sky). I saw what appeared to be 3 white lights traveling East (or Southeast) in a line. The front 2 lights were much closer together than the 3rd trailing light.
There were no blinking lights and no red or other-colored lights. I stated I saw something to my fiancee and our friends and my fiancee and one of our friends began watching as well (the 4th person had their back to everything and was not paying attention or interested in he moment). The lights were completely silent and at the time we did not see any other planes in the sky and there were only a handful of stars/planets (in addition to the moon) visible in the night sky.
I followed the 3 lights with my binoculars and watched them as long as possible - eventually they faded into the distance - they did not disappear behind the horizon or into the clouds - to me it looked like the objects were continuing on the same path they were on when I first noticed them. The lights traveled at a consistent speed except towards the end of the sighting when it appeared that they sped up, or were going up into higher altitude while still traveling East/Southeast without the rate of movement changing. The 3 of us who witnessed it were baffled.

Precise straight line procession due East in predawn sky totalling hundreds of varying brightness star-like objects I went out to my back porch around 5am. It was a clear starry morning. I glanced up and saw what could’ve been a satellite (60% brightness from zero to Venus).
Then a second one 2.5 inches behind the first at arm’s length. But then I noticed a third, fourth, fifth; all moving in a precise straight lined procession due East.
I woke up feeling quite groggy about a half hour before and thought I might just be feeling dizzy or something. I glanced toward the Eastern Horizon and could then see that the procession continued moving in a steady traffic in a perfect straight line. I swept my eyes in disbelief from the horizon to the edge of the roof above me.
Heading from West directly East ,yet more continued at uniform speed in varying sizes and brightness. The flight trajectory of each light stayed on precise course but each individual unblinking silent star-like light wobbled slightly. More and more continued.
At a single sweeping glance one could take in up to t! wenty five to thirty lights at once from my rooftop to the horizon. As they proceeded forward , mostly in single file but occasionally with a smaller light or lights keeping pace and flanking a single file larger light. The brightest lights were at 80% of what one would see looking at Venus.
From the edge of my porch roof looking up at the steady stream coming from the West , a minimum , at conservative estimate , of ten to twelve newly appearing lights would appear per minute . I went inside feeling rather confused.I wanted to wake everyone up.
I grabbed a terrible quality cell phone /video device and started whispering into it as I focused the video camera up at the procession for about two to three minutes but stopped because I felt it was not picking up the star-like lights in the dark predawn sky. The Eastern sky was starting to show the lightened approach of sunrise. I went inside after literally seeing 150 ; minimum within a fifteen minute period.
I felt that this! was a spectacular event and so I went inside, turned on the m! odem ,an d my computer and then went back out on the back porch. The procession continued in its precise straight line showing the brightest lights still as they approached directly into the brightening Eastern sky. At that time I watched the last in line following the long trail of moving lights.
No more continued. I went back inside expecting perhaps to see others posting reaction or even news headlines about this event. It was truly a spectacular procession like some mass exodus out over the sea from a “Star Wars” movie.
With decades of experience closely watching many other jets , airplanes , satellites , natural phenomena I could estimate from the perspective and speed of the straight lined procession that the lights were less than ten miles up. It was truly a spectacular display.Had it been going on all night ? I only caught it in mid progress after an unknown amount of time since commencement.
There could have easily been eight hundred visible lights ( who knows how many very ! small ones only viewable through binoculars?) per hour all in that perfect straight line travelling due Eastout to sea if they had been as uniformly spaced and paced within my fifteen minute count ( overall viewing approx. half hour ).

Neon blueish flashing light moving around sky. Just before the fireworks, looking west we saw a bright flashing, almost neon blue light moving across the sky. At first we thought it was a plane until it stopped mid air and hovered for 20 min.
or so. It then reversed direction, disappearing and reappearing. Several times it increased its speed going much faster than a drone or airplane.
It disappeared again only to reappear seconds later in the eastern sky. No sound what so ever. ((NUFORC Note: Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information.

Block of extremely bright pure white lights similar to baseball stadium/flood lights Sighted a block of pure white extremely bright lights. The object was very high in the air maybe just below the clouds. The object looked to be far away but still came across as very large (maybe the size of 3 single-family homes) It sat stationary in the sky and the lights gave a large bright white star shape luminance.
The object looked almost exactly like baseball stadium lights except much bigger and much higher. I lost sight of it when I went behind the tree line and when I drive by again it was gone.

flashing white and red light in the sky over williston VT At 9:15 pm on the east coast, i stepped outback onto my porch in Williston Vermont. As i looked ahead just above the tree line i noticed a flashing light. it was white, then red, then back to white, back to red, so on and so forth.
At first i thought it was a plane far away because of the flashing lights, but after a second i noticed that it wasn't flying in a line, it was changing its direction very radically, it went from the right side of me towards the left, then went up, back towards the right, and then it was just gone. I sat and watched the part of the sky i had seen it in for about a minute more, thinking maybe it had just gotten blocked from sight by the clouds in the sky. but i never saw it again.
i have no idea how far away it actually was. but from what i saw it looked to be a circle with flashing red and white lights. from the distance i was at it seemed to only move a few inches in the sky.
the entire time i saw it was no more then fifteen seco! nds.

Several bright, glowing, orange-yellow orbs low in the sky. Geometric formation (diamond, triangle) While driving home on the interstate from Williston, VT, to Richmond just after dusk, I looked out to the left and saw around 4 very bright, glowing orbs in the sky. At first I thought that maybe it was a plane (The Burlington airport is somewhat nearby) turning toward me, since I know how bright the lights can be, but the orbs didn't move, and they were so incredibly bright that I couldn't imagine what they were.
I had time to pull out my cellphone, unlock it, and record 48 seconds of video footage. During that time I noticed maybe one additional orb, and many tiny orbs around the big ones (not sure if I only just noticed them at that point, or whether they were being emitted from the orbs.) It looked like several concentrated, ball-shaped fireworks had gone off but were just hanging in the sky and not falling or fading.
In the video you can see that the orbs come together, and form a tight triangle. It looked to be like they were descending. At the end of the video I enter a line of trees as I start to descend French Hill and the orbs can't be seen.
They seemed fairly close to me, within a mile or two. Low altitude, again, like fireworks. I noticed a truck had pulled off to the side of the road on South Road (which runs along the interstate briefly), and perhaps they were observing the objects as well.
I wish that my phone could have captured the bright, orange glow from the objects, but if you've ever tried to take a picture at night with your phone, you know how diminished the brightness of an object can be.

Bright light in Southwestern sky over Vermont It is 5:50 on a Saturday morning, I look at the door like I do every morning when I wake up, I noticed this unusual bright light in the sky, there are no visible stars just this really bright light. I found my camera and took a couple of pictures of it. I then work my wife up to have her see it.
She was just as intrigued by it as I was. She looked for the binoculars to see if she could see it any better. We watched it for 15-20 minutes before it covered in by the clouds.
Backgrounds: I’m a self-employed technology consultant my wife works at a CPA firm. I’m 53 and she is 59 we have been married for 28 years and lived in the same location for 29 years.

Large bright orange object travelling west to east with very long tail with landing trajectory Travelling west to east was a VERY large flame moving 200-300 mph with a long tail of bright orange and looked like it was in a landing trajectory as I watched it continue it's descent over the tree line. I wasn't the first witness, a friend was laying in a lawnchair and was able to point it out and I had time to completely turn my head and watch for what seemed to be a long 5 seconds. Sounded like there was a faint crash in the distance afterwards.
Many things ran through my head, ultimately I can say it is un-identified.

Stationary diagonal line of white lights NE of Williston, above horizon. Sighting corroborated with 3 independent witnesses at different locations. A line of 5-7 bright lights in a perfect horizontal line (approx.
45 degree angle) was observed low over the horizon northeast of Williston, VT. The sky was clear (cloudless) and in the twilight, the lights were significantly brighter than the faint stars behind them. The row of lights were stationary in the sky and the relative position of one light to the next did not change for the minute I was able to observe it.
Some of the lights appeared brighter than others, but the overall intensity of each light remained the same. All lights were white and there were between 5 and 7 of them. As I was watching, the lights simultaneously faded away, but the stars in the background remained visible, so this was not simply due to a passing cloud or fog.
There was no sound.

Fast bright moving light came out of nowhere Saw a VERY bright VERY big ball of light. It came out of nowhere. Didn't see it raise up, it was just there all of the sudden very low in the sky.
Within a second or 2 after it appered it took off EXTREMLY fast in a downward directon. I have never seen ANY object in the sky move that fast or be that bright. I've just never seen anything like that in my life.
I stood there in shock for a good 45 seconds before running back inside. I could not see any type of aircraft body because the light was just so bright. It just looked like a extremly bright white light in a perfect circle.
When it took off it lost the perfect circle shape. It kind of looked like a tadpole (except MUCH bigger), round head with a tail coming off of it.
