Over the last couple months, my partner and I have seen these bright 3 lights from our backyard. They are pretty stationary overnight although they seem to hover. I have taken many pictures over this period of time.
Each picture of the same object will change shape, has a gaseous border, and a circular orb close to it.

WE SAW A GREEN FIREBALL PASS OVER OUR HOUSE. IT CAME FROM THE WEST AND HEADED EASTWARD IT APPEARED TO FLOAT ACROSS THE SKY. THE NEXT NIGHT, WHILE RIDING HORSES TOWARD THE RIVER, WE SAW THE SAME FIREBALL ABOVE THE TREE LINE IN THE SKY MOVING EAST TO WEST.
((NUFORC Note: Most green fireballs, we suspect, are meteors, i.e. rocks coming in at high velocity from space, containing copper, which incandesces green.
However, if the witness's estimate of the duration is anywhere close to being accurate, the object, almost certainly, was not a meteor. A one-minute sighting is too long for the overwhelming majority of meteors, and probably all of them. PD)) ((NUFORC Note: Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information.

I saw at least 14 large, steady red lights in a straight, staggered flight path formation on 5/12/12 in Pass Christian, MS, This sighting happened on Saturday, May 12, 2012, at approximately 9:36 p.m. Central Standard Time, in Pass Christian, MS.
I saw 4 red lights in formation coming from SW @ ~230 degrees on compass. My GSP is North 30.31 degrees, West 089.
27 degrees. No official record was available (I had tried to reach FAA to get velocity of wind direction, etc., but could not get, as they did not answer), but it was a calm night.
At first I thought they were helicopters until I noticed a steady red light. To the naked eye, the diameter of the light appeared to be 10 times the size of the brightest star in the sky. There was absolutely no sound.
The first two pair were coming side by side (two in the front, two in the rear), about 100 yards apart. The second pair was on the same flight path. Following them were at least 10 more in a straight, staggered formation, on the same flight path, coming over the horizon of trees.
They were spaced apart ~100 yards. Estimated speed was 50 knots. Still there was no sound.
The first two pair ascended slowly into the sky vertically. As they gained altitude the light grew dimmer, and then they up & disappeared, there was cloud formation that evening, and that could have contributed to their disappearance. It was 9:40 p.
m. CT -- I ran into the house to get my car keys so that I could drive and get a better look--it took about 20 seconds. The latter group was still there.
I drove to the beach to get a better view. 3 minutes later I arrived at the beach and there was nothing; they were gone. I served 4 years in the United States Air Force, licensed FAA mechanic.

Stationary orange lights appear then fade away after a few seconds off MS Gulf Coast. My husband and I were returning home after dining out in Bay St. Louis, MS, on the evening of Tuesday, September 15, 2009.
It was around 9:00 PM and as we headed east onto the Bay St. Louis Bridge, a bright orange light abruptly appeared in the sky to the southeast. As I tilted my head to look out the passenger-side window to get a better look at the light, it just slowly faded away.
There was no movement. The object was stationary from the time it lit up until the light completely faded out after only a few seconds. I turned to my husband and he asked me if I had seen it.
Since we had both seen this object, he started looking for a place to pull over on the beach. Before he could find a place to stop, I saw another orange light that did exactly the same thing as the first – light up and slowly fade with no movement. This object, however, was more to the southwest.
We pulled over at a point where there were a couple of benches on the sea wall and decided to sit and watch the sky over the Gulf of Mexico for any more lights. Before we had time to get settled, another one appeared to the southeast. A short time later, there was another to the southwest.
Then, three lights appeared almost simultaneously--one, two, and three. They faded out in the same order. We saw one or two more lights, and my husband remembered that we had our night vision monocular in the truck.
He saw the last orange light with the night vision and saw that when the light went off, there was still something there that we could not see without the night vision. For about 15 minutes, we watched a number of small spheres travel back and forth in the areas where we had seen the orange lights. One of the spheres appeared to pulsate, but the others were just faint solid objects.
We saw no more orange lights during this time. As we watched the spheres, they suddenly disappeared. There was no moon that night, but it was clear with lots of stars.
The objects were very close to shore – between the shrimp boats on the horizon and the beach. They were also not very high above the water. The entire event occurred over a period of 45 minutes to an hour.
We plan to go back with our high-powered binoculars on my husband’s next nights off and see if we can find anything else.

We saw a bright green light fall from NW to SE very quickly. My husband and I were pulling into our drive-way last night at about 7:45p.m.
and we saw a bright-green ball of light that seemed to be coming from north of New Orleans descending to the earth at a very high speed. This object had to have landed either somewhere on the Gulf Coast of Mississippi or in the Gulf of Mexico near the beach. The object was definitely in our atmosphere and was moving quickly with no tail or trail of light behind it.
I would love to know what it was.

Star like, Red/Green/White, moving in sky O.K., I’m skeptical of doing this but curiosity is getting the better of me.
I have tried writing this a couple of times but it seems to start jumping so I figured this format may be best. HOW: I am a smoker and go outside several times a night to have a cigarette and watch the sky. I have been doing this for years and have never seen anything like this.
My wife was the first to notice this but did not want to say anything to me for fear I would think she is crazy. Since the first sighting I have seen this on numerous occasions for the past few months. I have seen as many as three at one time in the sky but never very close to one another.
They do not appear in the same location in the sky every time. And at times they are in different locations in the same night. They do tend to disappear at some point in the night but not always.
DESCRIPTION: Star like objects which change colors, Red/Green/White. There move in ways conventional aircraft are unable to. Now I’m not sure if you’re interested in this or not.
I have had several individuals witness this with me. On the first occasion 5 people watched the object for over an hour. I have tried to rationalize weather balloons, satellites and helicopters but none of these seem to fit.
So here I am. ((NUFORC Note: Possibly satellites?? PD)).

WHAT IS IT? HE SAID I CANT BELIEVE IT SPEED UP LETS FOLLOW IT SO I CONTINUED NORTH BUT THE OBJECT REMAINED STILL DIRECTLY ABOVE THE TREE LINE RIGHT BELOW THE CLOUDS ALMOST HOVERING I WOULD SAY. I STOPPED THE CAR AND WE GOT OUT THE OBJECT SEEMED CLOSE ENOUGH TO TOUCH BUT IT WAS STILL ATOP THE TREES WHERE IT REMAINED IT WAS BIGGER THAN A HOUSE AND IT SEEMED AS IF IT WERE SPINNING BUT IT WASNT MOVING IT ALSO HAD LIGHTS ON THE BOTTOM SIDE BUT THEY WERE WHITE NOT RED AND SHINED BRIGHTLY I WAS HORRIFIED AT WHAT I HAD SAW SO I GOT BACK IN THE CAR. MY HUSBAND DECIDED WE SHOULD FOLLOW THE OBJECT SO WE DID.
THE OBJECT CONTINUED TO MOVE EASTERLY DIRECTLY ALONG SIDE OF THE INTERSTATE FOR SEVERAL MILES, I FOLLOWED AS LONG AS I COULD AT APPROXIMATELY 85 MPH BUT AS DARKNESS BEGAN TO FALL I DECIDED TO TURN AROUND AND GO HOME THE OBJECT CONTINUED TOWARDS THE EAST AND DISAPPEARED FROM SIGHT. I WOULD NEVER HAD BELIEVED WHAT I SAW BUT I SAW IT AND NOW I THINK OTHER PEOPLE SHOULD KNOW. I AM JUST AN EVERY DAY JOE SO THESE THINGS REALLY ARE OUT THERE.
WHAT THEY ARE OR WHERE THEY COME FROM WHO KNOWS. I JUST THOUGHT I WOULD SHARE WITH A FEW PEOPLE WHIO MIGHT BE INTERESTED. NOW I AM PICKED ON BY FAMILY AND FRIENDS BUT I SAW WHAT I SAW AND I'LL NEVER FORGET IT.

Haunting overhead light My parents and I had been visiting my aunt and uncle in Pass Christian, Ms. We lived in the next town just east of them.in Long Beach.
We had been invited to have chicken gumbo at their home. After finishing supper my Dad had fallen asleep while watching T.V.
It was around 2:00 a.m. before we finally left for home.
We were traveling east on Pineville Rd. when all of a sudden the entire inside of our vehicle lit up a bright blueish/white. We had no idea what was going on and were scared half to death.
The light seemed to extend to either side of us. There were fenced fields to our left and right near the road and the light touched just beyond the fences to the best of my recolection. There was no sound and no other vehicles in the area.
I remember my Dad stopping the car. My Mom said."What's that.
where is it coming from"? I was sitting in the middle of the back seat and couldn't figure out what was happening. My first instinct was to look up because I thought the overhead car light had turned on, but then quickly remembered it was busted out. I believe Dad had stepped out of the car, crossed the ditch to the right of us, looked out in the field, came back and said.
"It's not coming from out there". The next thing I remember is riding the rest of the way home and entering the house, looking at the digital clock on the dining table (can't remember what time it read) and going to bed.The next morning while Mom and I sat at the table sipping on a cup of tea she remarked.
"I wonder what that was.it seemed to come from above and behind us. I was too scared to turn around".
Well we were all terrified.of what I don't know. It seemed almost 'taboo' to discuss the subject.
We all felt violated for some reason. Nothing made sense to any of us. We felt like silence was an 'instruction' and we wern't suppose to talk about this occurance.
It still haunts me today because I can't remember just what this was that invaded our lives. Both my parents are deceased now and I can only hope one day I'll find the a! nswers. ((NUFORC Note: We can only guess at the date.
We have assigned an arbitrary date, so that the case sorts to the 1970's. PD)).
