I went out onto deck to get water. Noticed the very bright, flashing lights going from east to west, which very rarely happens. Went out to my deck to get water.
Immediately noticed the bright, flashing lights going around the center of something slowly moving from east to west. Zero noise. Brightly flashing red, blue, green, white lights.
I've only seen something move from east to west once before in 19 years here. I stood watching it for at least a minute until I ran in to get my cell phone with a sub par night/distance camera. I took 1 photo in night mode and 1 video in normal mode.
It wound up going behind trees 3 streets to the north of my house.

Silent, unblinking white light moving slowly ENE at a time when no air or satellite traffic in area. Took brief walk before sunrise and stopped to look at clear, cloudless sky. Saw several bright stars and possibly planets.
Then noted one, about as bright as Venus, was actually moving toward the ENE at or near the speed of a high altitude jetliner. The single white light never blinked, and after it passed slowly overhead, I still heard no sound. Shortly after it first appeared to be moving, it may have veered slightly off course twice, and there may have been one or two tiny white lights moving near it, but not certain about either of those observations because my vision is not flawless.
Checked my phone for the time, but preferred to watch the moving light, rather than attempt a photo. Later checked Flightradar24 website, which showed no flights near Cape Cod at that time, and the In the Sky satellite tracking website, which showed only one satellite heading NE well off the coast of Cape Cod near that time.

White light passing W to E overhead, like an airplane, but not one. Have recently started taking brief walks before sunrise. Because the air was exceptionally clear this morning, I stopped to look at the sky, and noticed a white light moving on a steady straight line approximately W to E.
The speed was similar to a plane passing high overhead, but it didn’t appear to be a plane, and I did not hear any sound as I watched it, or for a few seconds later. It was a non-blinking white light, or tight grouping of lights. At one point when it was directly overhead, it seemed to be shaped like a small elongated triangle.
I checked my cell phone for the time, 5:43, but did not attempt to take a photo. Later I used the Plane Finder website, which did not show any nearby plane flight paths at the time I saw this light. Perhaps it was a passing satellite.

Two circular horizontal flying crafts, came one after another following the same path. Two circular flying object. The first one appeared and moved low across the sky and horizontally, the second appeared and followed the exact same path, then paused at the end and hovered back and forth.
Both spectators were complete skeptics, who do not believe in any sort of supernatural or extraterrestrial. ((NUFORC Note: Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information. PD)).

A co-worker and I saw 2 Red and orange objects come up from over the tree line out in the distance. They were going up and twards us but not making any sound then they cut north of us and disappeared. Then a few seconds later 4 more came from where the first two originated.
They weren't moving in any type of formation or anything, but like the other two cut north and disappeared. Then we saw a single one follow the same route. We had a tower with a flashing light so we judged the altitude to be aprox 1000 feet and they objects we saw were approximately 2 miles away from us.
They were orange on the Bottem it seamed and red on top of the objects. ((NUFORC Note: Witness elects to remain totally anonymous; provides no contact information. PD)).

Unusual thing in the sky, could have been a cloud but I'm not so sure about that. I’ll start out by saying that my son and I were taking a late afternoon walk on a Dennis beach along Cape Cod Bay, on the north side of the mid-Cape area. As we were appreciating colors of the western sky, we saw nothing unusual, and no clouds of any kind—the sky was crystal clear.
We left the beach before the sun set and soon I was on the highway heading west toward the setting sun. As soon as I got on the highway, I noticed an unusual thing in the sky. This was around 4:50 p.
m., maybe 4:55. It could have been a cloud, but 10 minutes before there was nothing of the sort in the sky when we were on the beach.
It was located to the left of the setting sun and a bit higher in the sky but low enough so that the trees along the side of the highway prevented me from seeing it most of the time. But I got a good look at it on several occasions. It was the only thing in the sky except for the sun.
It was shaped like a “V” but the arms were puffy and the “V” ! was not upright but tilted over so that the hinge of the arms was on the left side of the thing. The puffiness of it made me wonder if it was a cloud, but there was something unusual about it. It was about a quarter of an inch at arms length.
The color was unusual in my opinion because it was intensely white, not opaque. I was thinking that it should be reflecting some of the golden/orange sunlight, but there was no hint of any other color other than the intense white. This is subjective, but it seemed to be so white that I thought it was glowing of its own accord.
I lost track of it for several minutes while on the highway due to the trees and trying to drive safely. I got off the highway and headed south toward Hyannis, trying to catch a glimpse of it but I couldn’t see it for 2 or 3 minutes. Still heading south, I saw it again as I came to a place where the trees were thin along the right side of the road and it opened up into the flat expanse of the airport fiel! d.
This was maybe 7 minutes after I first caught sight of it.! It sti ll was “V” shaped but now the hinge was on the bottom (like a V) and the arms seemed closer together and thing seemed to have turned so that the right arm was behind the left, closing up the empty space between the arms. The sun had set and the sky was glowing, but the “cloud” still seemed white but dimmer, not as intensely white as it had been a couple of minutes previously.
Clouds morph and this could very well have been something like that, but it was unusual, appearing rather suddenly and so intensely white. I lost track of it as it was obscured by the buildings and trees of Hyannis. When I was on the highway and had a good look at it, I did not get the sense that it was close by, so I think that it would have been visible over a large area.
It was to the south west, on a line with Nantucket Sound, then Martha’s Vineyard, and then the open ocean to the south of Block Island. I don't think I can offer any more than this. I am an avid sky watcher, and I can say that! this was unusual enough for me to provide this report.

three objects hover in the sky for two hours above cape cod. I am a registered nurse on cape cod. I had just completed a 3-11 shift in Chatham and headed due west on the backroads back to my home in Dennis.
As I left work at 11;15, I spotted an unusual object upon turning westward and kept my eye on it all the way back to Dennis and never lost sight of it. I stopped to pick up my son at his girlfriends house at about 11:30 and drove to a nearby parking lot with him to show him the oddity in the sky. It was the new moon and the sky was very clear with bright stars everywhere.
I pointed to the object I had been witnessing for about twenty minutes. My son looked up and his mouth feel open! He said "Holy **** mom, what IS that?" I told him his guess was as good as mine. We decided to drive to a local historic tourist attraction located on one of the geographically highest topographies in the area.
As luck would have it, the vantage point at this tower is due west and many locals and tourists alike enjoy watching the sunset from there. There, right in front of us, was the object we had seen. Within minutes we saw two similar objects were present as well.
They formed a triangle. The one closest to us,which I estimated to be between ten and twelve miles away but may have been closer, was also in the closest proximity to the Earths surface. The one to the right, about twice that distance away as it was also further from the Earths surface, seemed to be more 'orb' shaped and frequently glowed in a fiery white to gold to orange.
The furthest away was located at the apex of the triangle and appeared to be lit brightly on the top, but there were no clouds in the sky to reflect this off of, this object appeared to be about two to four miles in the air, but that was difficult for me to gage. All three of them just hovered although sometimes the lower two seemed to move up and down slightly and all three of them maintained their basic vicinity, they also did small concentric circles perpendicular to the surface of the Earth. All three of the objects flashed lights along their perimeters.
Sometimes they flashed synchronicitously, sometimes seperately, with colors flashing white, yellow, red and green. At this point, I called a friend of mine in Arizona to deatil tthe phenomena I was witnessing and we spoke through approximately forty five minutes of it. At one point my son and I noted the closest object with its changing colored lights move closer to us and we held our breath not knowing what would occur next! My son called a friend of his who showed up with some friends.
They also witnessed what we were watching. I called my ex spouse to see if he would come up with his video camera but he couldn't. He attempted to see it from his house but could not.
He said the stars were very bright but that his vision was hampered by a wooded area to the west. Small flashes seemed to emit from the lower two sporadically. The flashes shot from the bottoms of the objects, but not directly from the center.
They were lit trails that disappeared from view after a second or two. After about two hours, the objects departed, one by one. The first to leave was the closest to us.
it headed westward silently with its lights changing colors and all remaining lit. It moved quickly and i watched it disappear over the horizon. The object to the right glowed and moved westward also.
The object at the apex seemed to drop a long way then move staight up and then westward as well. I drove home and emailed seeral friends about the incident.

Gray, faceted craft seen moving south over Route 6 in broad daylight. I'm a student at the local community college, and during my drive home one afternoon, two things struck me as odd, one being a black helicopter that flew over my campus at or near 14:00pm, and the other being the fact that either a second, or the same helicopter was hovering approximate 100 to 200 feet above tree level between 5 and 10 miles away from the campus 10 minutes down Route 6. I spotted the helicopter before I reached exits 9A and 9B, and found it to be hovering between exits 9A and 10.
I believe the town would have been Dennis, or extreme western Brewster near Underpass road. For at least 5 minutes I could make out the helicopter hovering perfectly still in this same spot at this same altitude, and this seemed strange to me in broad daylight with little apparent reason for its presence. However, not far down the road, perhaps just before Exit 10, on the horizon, (I was headed East on Route 6 during this whole event) I saw an oddly shaped craft that I first assumed was a fighter jet.
This wouldn't be out of the question given that one of the largest Air Force bases in the Northeast is on Cape Cod. However, the lack of any sound, the velocity, and size of the craft did not match up for what would be a fighter plane, and since there was no airport in the immediate vicinity, its altitude seemingly ruled out the possibility that it was a plane at all. I immediately thought back to the helicopter, and wondered if perhaps it had been observing the same thing I did because it seemed to be in an awful hurry when I first saw it in Barnstable (the town, not the county) and it was headed in the exact direct (or very near to) the spot where I saw it.
This lead me to believe that it wasn't a plane at all, and that, even if I sounded completely crazy, I should tell someone what I saw in hopes of finding some simple explaination. I've not contacted any authorities on the subject because I feel as though security may be so tight that no information may be had on the matter at all given the proximity! to the anniversary of 9/11. The object I saw was moving south slowly at what must not have been much more than 300 to 500 feet above the ground, perhaps even less.
It appeared to be metallic, but did not shine, which as I think about it, is rather odd given the lighting conditions (the sun was behind me shining directly on the object I witnessed) It was a matte gray color, much like the paint job on a fighter jet (hence my original confusion) and did not have a memorable shape or profile other than being long and giving the impression that it had facets, or was possibly even a delta wing of some sort like the F-117, however this aircraft is not gray, so I knew it could not have been what I saw. It also was not a blimp, because it was too small and moved to fast, besides being the entirely incorrect shape, and was not single-engine plane of any sort, as it was too large, and did not have any of the recognizable features that a plane of this type would possess. Any information on this would settle my mind a great deal.
