Flash and stationary light flashing. Saw a flash while watching the north east part of the sky, next thing I see is a stationary blinking light in the same location after the flasg 4 times, I call my wife outside she saw two more blinks and that was it. Total time was less than 15 minutes.

Illinois Sky bright orange round object of light. Drone or UFO? Aprox 8:30 pm Wednesday evening I stepped out on the deck to grab some soda when I noticed a bright orange round object of light, moving slowly without any noise in the Northern sky. It's outer edges brighter and almost flame like than the center.

Traveling North to South it started to jump around in all directions as if trying to register coordinates of some sort. With a large burst like streak, it traveled at an extreme rate towards airline flight path and as it traveled closer to one of the planes the illumination from the object suddenly dimmed to nothing. The whole event lasted no longer than 2 min.

3 slanted white dots sitting there with no movement. My boyfriend who was driving, my friend in the back seat, and i in the passenger seat were driving out of our complex . We were waiting to turn onto the highway when i noticed something in the sky.

Looked like three slanted dots shaped in an oval formation. Tried taking a picture but we were already turning. Boyfriend tried saying it was a power line but it would have been blinking red lights and there has never been one there.

Unlit Triangular Flying Object in Night Sky Approximately 18:15 (6:15pm) in Carpentersville IL, while walking my dog, I saw an unlit object fly very quickly across the night sky. It was not lit up. It was traveling across the sky from the North East direction to the South West direction.

I was able to keep my eye on it as it flew through the sky and faded into the distance. While the object was flying I compared it to other planes that were lit up in the sky. The planes were much higher and had blinking lights.

This object had none of that. The night was very cool, crisp and clear. The stars were very visible as well as several planets.

The area I was walking the dog is dimly lit with yellow ornamental street lights. I was approximately 100 ft. from the lights in a darker area so my night time vision was very clear.

The object appeared to be slate gray in color. There was only 1 object. I imagine I was the only one that saw it, although there was a steady stream of cars passing on the nearby road.

No noise accompanied the sighting.

strange light moving, stopping, moving more quickly then stopping. looking at stars late at night with binoculars, i notice a star moving. it moves past the moon going north/north east from the south.

it stops and begins to move quickly much faster then before then it stops again. and then it moves next to a triangle of stars and stops for about 20 minutes. (everything before it stoping for 20 minutes took place about as long as a half hour about 25 minutes to estimate.

i went inside to find the end of my telescope but by the time i got back outside it was too late.

We witnessed a Pyramid shaped object just above the tree line about 500 feet up moving west southwest at a rapid rate around 8:00ish Central time(Dark sky). There were three distinct lights at what appeared to be the corners, front light had a slight orange tinge and the others were soft yellow. It took about 10 seconds to cross the middle two thirds of the sky we could see.

We had the radio on low but there was no loud drowning noises detected as you would expect from a chopper or fighter jet. 5 min later we got a better view of the horizon and noticed a couple of aircraft with the standard running lights moving paralell in the same direction about three miles apart and approximately 10,000 feet moving west soouthwest. There is usually a lot of air trafic in the area anyway since O'Hare airport is only 15 miles away but these were definitely oddities especially the Pyramid shaped object.

Bright round object in sky In the South East sky I a bright circle shape object comming towards me at a moderate rate of speed. It was a very bright white light. The object suddenly reversed course and shot straight up at tremendious rate following the same path back up.

When it went back up it went straight up and I could watch it get smaller and smaller until it disapeared.
