All Reported UFO Sightings in Lancaster, Kentucky

An unusual and apparently domed object moving due west. At 19:26 on 9-25-2017, I observed a white cloud-like object about 10 degrees to the right of the waxing crescent moon. At 10 degrees to the right of that object was a plane with a contrail.

I was in Lancaster, Kentucky at that time. I called my brother in neighboring Lincoln County and asked him to go out to observe the object. He was about 3 miles south of my location.

While on the phone the object became very bright. This was caused by the angle from the sun. I have seen this occur when planes fly toward the western horizon after sunset.

The object and the plane were moving east to west. They appeared to move about the same speed. However, the plane did not reflect any sunlight.

My brother did not see the object brighten. It lasted a few seconds. Finally he was able to get outside and find the object with binoculars.

His description is as follows: The object appeared to have a large, low dome above an undefined structure below. The "dome" reflected a yellow glow from the setting sun. I followed the object with binoculars for a minute or so until it just vanished from view.

I'm not sure if the object just ceased reflecting sunlight, or if it moved off at a very high rate of speed. Total time of my observation was about two minutes. Finally, I tracked the object from the Lancaster location until it became a pale white dot on the western horizon and vanished.

My observation was naked eye and lasted about 5 minutes. It did not appear to be a plane. Hopefully someone else saw it and can identify it.

My brother and I are amateur astronomers and have been for 45 years. It was not a plane. We are very familiar with the night sky.

We are located in Central Kentucky and we observe many flights of aircraft daily.

4 lights/orbs rotating There were 4 identical lights/orbs. The lights all rotated clockwise in a circle around an arbitrary point. After one and a half rotations, the four lights stopped momentarily and converged to a central point.

At the central point, the four lights again paused for a moment, then returned to their positions and proceeded to rotate, again, counterclockwise. ((NUFORC Note: We suspect advertising lights. PD)).

A huge long craft with bright white lights caught on deer camera. My husband placed a deer camera in a open field with no roads, houses or anything to cause the lights in the pictures. It is huge and better than anything I have seen on television.

Only one craft like object with bright white lights. No confusion with a plain, train or any other object I have seen. This is awesome!.

Glowing low flying triangular shaped object slowly flew over us, appeared to be on fire but didn't loose altitude. My family and I were sitting in our front yard watching the fireworks at the Herrington Lake Marina to the right, and as one of the fireworks went off we noticed a glowing object in the sky to our left. Even though it was dark at this point, it did not appear to be very high in the sky so at first we assumed it must be a large piece of flaming debris from one of the fireworks; however, the debris did not lose altitude and float to the ground.

It appeared to be on fire and it also traveled on a straight, unwaivering path, which continued to fly at the same altitude until we could no longer see the object. While the object could have possibly be triangular in shape it was hard to see because it was so illuminated although it did appear to have flames coming from the back of the object. It did not appear to be traveling at a great rate of speed.

There was only one object and the color was kind of a bright yellow orange like fire.

Triangular shaped craft that seemed to mirror the night sky. My wife and I were out on the back deck star gazing when we saw an unkown craft fly over the house. It was a dark triangular shape that mdae no sound flying low,approximately 500 feet.

The craftt had very dim lights almost like blacklights. The bottom of the craft seemed to reflect the night sky. It looked as if the night sky were moving but not blanked out by the craft body.

I witnessed the exact same object as the guy from smithland. It was reflecting the sun, but from what I could perceive, it was silvery metallic. It was not moving.

I was driving, so I had to keep an eye on the road. When I turned to the road and back to the object again it was gone. Like the other guy said, it was out of sight way to quick to be any conventional aircraft.

bright white circle seen over highway i was driving home north on highway 27 from stanford.saw a circle of bright white light go from east to west over my car. the circle glowed on the outside as if it had a force field of some type around it.

the inside of the circle was perfectly round and bright white. it blinked out of sight.it was low in the sky and at arms length it was as big as a grapefruit.

it was not like anything ive ever seen or heard of.

Well I didn't know there was a place you can put sightings. Yes, I was seven, and it was right around Christmas time, we lived in some apartments in Lancaster, Ky. We was going to walk back to our apartment building from a neighbor visit.

It was Myself, One sister, My dad, My Moma, and two other kids from the neighborhood also witnessed it. Anyways we was getting ready to cross the street when you couldnt help but look Up!!!! There Was a Huge White Hovering ship Round Saucer Shaped hovering above the Apartment building Across the Street!!!!!! It Was Dead Silent No Sound. It was White in color .

and you could Clearly See this No problem you didnt just see lights!!!! You Seen the Whole Ship!!! it Looked like a Row or more of Lights kinda like bulbs. going all the Way Around the object. and the color of the ship Was a whitish color.

and there was some kinda antenna coming off the top . (We All JUST STOOD THERE AND STARED'' IT WAS LIKE WE COULDNT MOVE OR WAS IN SHOCK.) Well it hovered quietly maybe three minutes maybe less'' then Slowly Turned Sideways like on Its Side.

It was Sooooo Amazing and Neat and Scarey All in One!!!! its An Experience i Will Never Forget!!!!! i guarantee you that!!!
